I had a great experience. Thankful to the team and the doctor for conducting a thorough scan and providing excellent guidance.

Doctor was so rude during my scan he didn't explain me well and keep saying to me "this is not my job". He was rude and impolite to me as well as with my husband. I was told by nurse that "the scan will go by 60 mins" but doctor finished it within 10mins and then was getting Irritated. Next time i will tell to my Gyne do not send me there if she sees any complications.

The Clinic was well located and the Doctor was so helpful. He explained everything properly.

Even the Sisters and Reception were very helpful in understanding our situation and assisted us. Will recommend to others too.

A Great experience in the clinic. A friendly staff. Perfect service. The nurse who did the blood test to me was very patient and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. After receiving the test result I had a call from the clinic. They use very kind and professional words. They respect the patient's confidentiality. I recommend this clinic.

Dr Mirza is very professional; he takes the time to explain in details all what I need to know and answers all my questions. I would always recommend him to my friends as he has a lot of knowledge in fetal medicine and long years of experience. His nurses are kind and took care of me while I was at the clinic.

Dr Afshin was very skilled, attentive to details, super friendly and funny while explaining everything to me and my wife during the echo. I highly recommend him to all couples who would like to have their first trimester echo.

I went in for an NT scan, the NT of my baby was 2.7 mm which 0.2 mm higher than it should be at the time we performed the scan, how the doctor performing the scan gave me the news well it seemed to me that the baby had for sure some genetical disorder, very obnoxious guy and lacking empathy. I def do not recommend

One of the most horrifying experiences in my life. This is nothing but a money making and business driven facility. Any new mother (like me) should clearly avoid this clinic as it is all about the money for the doctor/owner. Our doctor did a double markers test and the baby came out positive for Down Syndrome.hence she recommended we visit this horrifying clinic to do an NIPT. Being a new mother and new to this process we ran to the clinic for further testing.the doctor did NOT by no means push for an NIPT but immediately requested for an amniocenteses- which he said was the best way to give us accurate results. Obviously, I came to know from several doctors afterwards that there was no point do to the amniocenteses, as it's very risky and the NIPT would have give a 99% accuracy (definitely not what the doctor said). But ofcourse the NIPT was around 1k-1500k, and the amniocenteses was 6500.sooooo enough said as to why the doctor/OWNER pushed for the other.well Im glad we helped pay for some bills!

oh and the way the doctor called to give me the results. HORRIFYING.instead of being sympathetic he was extremely rude, literally spoke to me for 20 seconds.didn't bother explain anything to me.im surprised the 6500 doesn't cover a decent feedback or a decent phone call.

To all mothers and parents.honestly it's best to avoid this money making completely business oriented clinic.it's all about the money.

One of the best Fetal Mediscan in Dubai and the Doctor Mr. Afshin Pour Mirza is very gentle and kind and his positive words really makes us feel happy. Loved our experience at the clinic. Staff were helpful, friendly and very cheerful we went to the appointment with no expectations as previous check up scans our daughter was very shy and has always hid her face! The Dr was very good and we were lucky to get some very clear pictures of our beautiful girl. We are very grateful for the service as we know doing something like a 4D scan is not 100% guaranteed to show anything especially if baby doesn’t want you too lol!

We visited Fetal Madicine recently for my first trimester scan and we had absolutely amazing experience! Everybody there were so polite and kind. Doctor Afshin was very pleasant and patient, explained everything in details so we could understand and have a whole picture. We truly enjoyed this visit and I can't recommend enough this great clinic and these amazing people!

A decent facility with good equipment, but unfortunately, the owner/doctor is very obnoxious and speaks down to his patients in a very degrading way. When you go to visit a doctor, you expect them to educate you about your health, but not speak down to you. When this feedback was given to him, he said he can't change his way, so once again proving his arrogant way of doing things.

Wouldn't recommend at all. There are far better doctors/clinics out there.

What an absolutely great experience! The staffs and Dr Afshin were overwhelmingly kind, cheerful and honest. Above all, they had given me the best healthcare a patient would ever asked for.

First time visiting this clinic, meeting Dr Afshin was a delight, he was so kind, patient, making us laugh and explaining everything so clearly so we understood, even when it came to the ultrasound photos.   The nurses and staff are all super sweet and cheery, such a friendly environment, you can tell they all enjoyed working there.

I am so grateful to Dr. Amelie and the team at Fetomaternal for their help and support. I urgently needed a medical report for my insurance and got it despite very short notice and a day off of the doctor.

Disappointed very much!
Not the first time at this "place" came here for our first baby (as per recommendation of our doctor). Although it was clearly mentioned that Panorama Test (NIPT blood test) was required, my wife was sent for the doctor's consultation. The Doctor explained us two not compulsory options to combine the NIPT with screening (around AED 1,500) and more complex test (around AED 2,400) to get more accurate result. So we opted for first one (seems like the additional screening was designed for that). However we were advised that it would take another hour to get next available slot which was way to much (having another baby at home with the babysitter), so we decided not to go for it and leave instead. We were quite surprised when were advised that we had pay AED 550 for the consultation.
When you go to any doctor, you are happy to pay for the consultation (check-up, based on your results, and symptoms, prescription of the medicine and overall recommendation). Strangely enough we had pay AED 550 "consultation" (attempt to up-sell the unnecessary screening and other more expensive one as well), besides when they give you consent form it doesn't even have rates mentioned (which really looked quite fishy) and ask you to sign, where also mentioned in case of refusal you should pay for administration fee. I believe that consent form is valid if you sign it. Nevertheless that centre was insisting for payment, saying we met the doctor and regardless of what kind of a consultation was provided we had to pay. It's quite confusing the same thing could be easily explained by the receptionist, however even after seeing that we needed only the NIPT my wife was suggested to see the doctor. Only to be explained what are the differences in the proving test options? It's very confusing and felt like the place is operating to generate the revenue based on your lack of knowledge and desire to know if the baby is healthy (which expecting parent wouldn't want that?).

Suggestion:
1. Check with your doctor if besides the Panorama Test you'd be needing screening.
2. Check if you doctor can recommend any other fetal clinic/centre just for the sake of seeing the reaction.
3. After you arrived to centre check the rates and make sure you familiarized with terms and conditions before going ahead with option.

Never take patients on time.also takes them long to send via email ultrasound results, last time I called them 3 times to remind about it.
Dr got very stressed due to the child’s activity and shouted at my husband when he asked some questions. Also they didn’t send us 3D photos as we required.
Not so friendly environment as it seems at the beginning, won’t use their services anymore.

What an absolutely great clinic. Dr Amelie Hoffman is incredible. Professional, friendly, an expert in her field and very much patient focused. Certainly living upto her reputation.

The clinic itself is lovely, clean, and stylish. The nurses and admin staff are excellent and very attentive. They're making our whole pregnancy experience very smooth and reassuring.

We highly recommend this clinic.

Thanks for your response but my problem was with “the receptionist way of communication” I don’t mind waiting for a good reason. Although I’ve received call from the clinic to come one hour earlier to keep us waiting after words!

The doctor was very good as well the nurses but unfortunately the receptionist which is the image of any clinic she was very rude and needs communication course how to treat a patient not a customer how will pay and go!

It was my first time visiting the clinic for my 5th month anomaly scanning as referred by my gynecologist. Very nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Even if I was there for the first time they collected all the informations regarding my pregnancy.
Scanning was done by Dr. Afshin, he was very nice, friendly and involved me and my husband throughout, explaining about the baby. I was little concerned about scanning at the beginning but Dr. Afshin made sure that we are comfortable enough. We have enjoyed each and every moment.

I came here to see Dr. Afshin Pour Mirza as he was referred to me by a friend. He was very funny, thorough and clear with whatever he saw in the scan. He listened to my concerns and made me feel like he understood me very well. The technology for ultra sound was amazing! I got some colored pictures that I can share with my son when he grows up. The ambience of the clinic was very welcoming and refreshing. I really appreciate the staffs for being very courteous and friendly especially during the interview. We had to wait for few minutes as the patient before us needed some time with the doctor. I told my husband that it's okay to wait. Usually when we are out shopping we take our time to make our purchases, like hours! So in like manner, since this is our health and the health of our precious one, we should be more understanding and patient knowing that we will get top notch treatment and attention. Overall, my husband and I were very satisfied with their service and would love to come back on my other scans and of course will surely recommend to all my friends! Kudos to Dr. Afshin and his team!
