Sameer, experience was better than we imagined. We have some experience but are far from professionals. There may be other locations offering equipment, and professional green-screen access, however, I'm sure they don't have Sameer. He was polite, professional and most of all we had a partner in our production. We now have an excellent outcome as well as increased knowledge. We have another session scheduled. Sameer is humble and carries expertise. Too notch green-screen room and equipment. We are very satisfied.

I am based in London but produced a Branded Content shoot in Dubai in January 2023, traveling there to work as Producer Director. The shoot was only one day but I found the logistical challenges of filming in Dubai considerable (and I have filmed in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, mainland China and Indonesia, so am able to compare). Local law means you are forced to work with a local production company and so I contacted several ahead of time. I found Film District Dubai the best in terms of responsiveness and clarity of information provided. In the first instance I spoke with Sameer who gave me some very useful insight about the practicalities involved in applying for a filming permit and identifying a location where you can film in public using this permit (as opposed to having to also pay a filming fee to private land owning companies who seem to own 90% of outdoor space in Dubai - the fees they expect are extortionate, IMO). In the long build up to filming my point of contact was Dzipai whom I found quick to respond and helpful as I sought answers. On the filming day itself I worked with Imran who was a good shooter, and Dzipai who acted as Production Assistant. We shot on FX3's and one issue with a missing ND filter notwithstanding, I found the day productive and we got good results. The basis of this was having a fantastically accommodating Contributor who was very giving with his time and cooperation; but my extensive planning and the help of Film District Dubai also played its part. I would work with them again and recommend them to others needing to produce content in Dubai. Note: for foreign producers who have never worked in Dubai, the standard payment process is the full filming permit fee and 50% deposit need to be paid in advance, with the balance to be paid at the end of production in order to access your rushes. It's a leap of faith paying a good sum upfront, all the more reason to put this review up.

Paid for rent 2500 aed for total, asked for the screen they said it’s will be charge additional, agreed 2: 30 all studio wasn’t ready the employees super not professional.
Will not come here again, low profile.
