Loveeeeeeeeeeee their food! My favorite combo is their chicken roast, plain pulao, chicken fry and their yummy salad (complementary). I dont mind eating there everyday! They have varieties of bengali dishes and they are all awesome. If you miss bengali sweets or food.this is ur 2nd home or may be 1st ;) A must try restaurant! And surprisingly most of the dishes tastes like my moms (who is no more) hand made food so i LOVE it even more.

I had a meetings with family friends at this restaurant numerous times. Moreover, I oftentimes find myself ordering food for delivery from this shop.

Me and my husband went in yesterday for dinner. We ordered a chicken roast which came out cold, the chicken curry looked like it was microwaved and when we asked the waiter he confirmed it was microwaved. We had a few bits of the food, realised it wasn't fresh and my husband complained to the waiter.nothing was done apart from the roast taken off the bill.we paid for the rest and left. If I wanted microwaved food I would just warm the food up at home which I cooked and wouldn't bother going to a restaurant! Highly disappointed and very frustrated, will not be returning back here.

Visited Food Village restaurant, Al Nahda 1 Amman St, Dubai. I consider myself a huge foodie and love all types of cuisines, I recommend this place. An ideal location for Bangali food lovers, with the authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. Must tries are their Bhortas, Fried Ilish Fish, Fish egg curry and Mishti doi. Even plain steamed rice and hot daal don’t taste this good at any other place. They have really friendly staff too. The restaurant is a firm family favourite and a must check out for everyone, especially If you are from India (Assam/Kolkata) craving some traditional home made food then defiantly worth a try.

I can't recommend any place for Authentic Bangladeshi other than food Village Dubai. Nice ambiance good food good service. I recommend Kacchi Biryani (served only in weekends) with burhani.

Very bad attitude of staff over there, I would like to urge owner of this restaurant to train them coz I don't think any restaurant in this world who serve tea in a high ball glass and even though they r not professional at all.

This place serves bengali food of bangladeshi cuisine. The vorta platter is one of the must have item. Their preparation of ilish sorse is authentic.:) You will get lot of other bengali items which is kind of similar to kolkata's bengali cuisine. The price of food is reasonable as well.

Though it's Bangladeshi but lots of cuisine similar to the Indian Bengali Restaurant. Ambience is nice and family friendly. My main course generally consists of shukhto or rui macher zhol with unlimited bhaat and dal. The mishti doi served in clay pots is the best so far I had in Dubai. If you are craving for traditional Bengali food then definitely worth a try!

All the dishes are good i like it. I like yellow dal fish curry fish fry and chicken curry. But bit expensive. I bought the above dishes and rice in 70 drhms which is bit expensive for normal man.

Iftar items was really tasty. Also well known for Bangladeshi food.specially Hilsa. Fish preperations.

This probably serves the best of Bangladeshi cuisine. Located in Al Nahda, its easy to find a parking even on Fridays. All the items are reasonably priced and tasty. For main dishes, we tried Kachchi Biriyani, khichuri, shorshe Ilish, parata, butter chicken, rice and all sorts of bhorta with shutki etc. For, desserts, we tried roshomalai, doi, balushai. Just fabulous.

Very homely food. Good quality. 2 people can eat in one meal. Nice taste. Would recommend for those who missed home food with good taste.

It's a Bangladeshi restaurant. My favourite is chicken roast. You get good combos. Sweets are simply great especially the curd.

Visited this place few times out of desperation since there is a lack of Bengoli restaurants in Dubai, must say the staff lack the most basic etiquette, manners and think they are working in a Michelin 5 star restaurant. Extremely rude behavior, upon asking the waiter if the sweet yogurt is made fresh his response was if you want it then buy else don't ask silly questions, the waiter also said the Prime Minister of Bangladesh ate at their restaurant and she loved the food so who are you to question its quality.although food is decent it's quite expensive and will advise to visit this place if it's the last option available else it's better to rather starve then to get served by these rude, arrogant waiters.

The food is amazing for people who wants to experience pure bengali food. Its not cheap. But not expensive as well.its affordable and the food is amazing.

Bangladeshi restaurant. If u want original taste of Bangladeshi food this is the place. In uae Bangladeshi restaurant not maintain safety and cleanness but food village always maintain good hygiene practice. But they are way to high expensive

If you want to experience traditional Bangladeshi cuisine, then you have to visit this place. Food is amazing, proper flavours and excellent service. Have to try the Bartha!

The ultimate restaurant for authentic Bengali delicacy. Steamed Hilsa, Bharta plater you should not give a miss. First slip of masoor dal (red lentil) will remind your home cooking. You can try any preparation and you won't complaint. My search for authentic Bengali food in Dubai ended here. I have just left the restaurant and I can swear I am happy, relaxed and satisfied.

Foods are really good in taste. Cost effective. All types of Bengali / Indin foods are available. I like Voona Kichuri, Vartas, Hilsha fish, Beef, and kacchi Briany. Staffs are friendly. Service is excellent.

Almost everything is overpriced compare to same standard restaurants around the place. It's a rip off for dining with family.

Food place that you don’t want to miss out. Mouth watering finger licking Bangladeshi food. Their Illish fry and Special Salad are must try. Clean please to seat and enjoy your meal

Located in a prime place. Parking is an issue as most of the time parking near by is full. Food is decent and I would recommend this place for family dining. Those who use public transport, no worries to reach this place. You get taxis in few minutes as this is located in a main road of Al Nahda area.

Food village restaurant is the best place to spend time with a bengali food. Tried some sugested food all all were awesome. The shorshe llish, the rui kalia, bhuna khichuri, fried pomfret and the beef/mutton curry was great. The ambience is good aswell the staff.

All food they make in Bangaladesh style. I have tried many dishes but does not have a proper taste and price is also high.

Prior to visit this restaurant I did not have any experience of the taste of Kacchi Biriyani.
So, I cannot comment on this dish; however if I have given a chance to compare with Calcutta Biryani then this Biriyani is no where in the race.
Calcutta Biriyani is beyond compare to any kind of Biriyani in the universe been cooked ever.
I liked the Patishapta pitha today; it's awesome & brought my childhood back.
