I love the bbq with the Wagyu beef and squid. Highly recommend staff of Fatima, she is very patient for the service.

If you’re a foodie or have a good variety of palate or like quality meat - this is not for you. You will be disappointed in this place.

1k for 2 people, around 450+ dhs each for unli grill. There’s 3 tier that you can choose from and we chose the middle one which is 450+ each

The service is mediocre, staff is nice but they got the order wrong, we asked for thick cut but were given thin. We asked for us to be one to grill but they served as grilled meat already and etc.staff are kind of unfocused maybe because we went around 11pm? Doesn’t excuse the service tho

The quality of food is where it’s SOOOOO disappointing. I’ve reviewed a lot of places with the similar price range but this has been far the worst I’ve ever tried. For this price the quality of meat should be great but it’s meh, even the sauce are nothing special. Can’t imagine you can actually make Japanese food taste meh.

You can get better taste, meat quality & service in other places with the amount you’re paying for.

We came from Abu Dhabi to eat Japanese food. The restaurant is excluded from busy Dubai, perfect for some private dining and with a nice view. The service from the crews are at high level, making sure that we've got all we need. Food! Yes, the BBQ set that we have ordered have the distinct taste! Cook it and eat it, no need of the dipping sauce. Try to add lemon on the middle dipping sauce, will give you a different flavor. Overall, we will be coming back again! Thank you!

We were sited outside since we chose barbecue. Atmosphere was nice with delicious food with soft and tender wagyu beef, amazing salad and good sushi platter. By the way, it was my Birthday and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for the great service guys ️

Food is exceeding our expectations, and the atmosphere is so homey. It feels like eating at a Japan house indeed.

Food was superb! From BBQ, Sushi, Salad & Dessert everything was great even staff are friendly with amazing service.

We found it extremely hard to find where the restaurant was. There is no clear signs to direct one to this restaurant and there were hardly any customers. The food tasted pretty odd, we ordered Unagi Uni roll and Fujiya roll from the rolls. The fujiya roll was ok but the uni unagi roll that came at a higher price point was not particularly tasty and besides the amount of Uni on each roll was different. The wagyu bbq skewer was over cooked and wasn’t juicy. However the chicken skin skewer didn’t disappoint. We have been to the original branch several times and loved the food there but this didn’t live up to the original outpost.

Beautiful view, very relaxing atmosphere, service was good, food is great and so are the drinks.

Not as good as the other branch near the airport. We had always gone there but this time we thought of trying this since we are staying few km away only.

The quality of the wagyu for the unlimited bbq is not as good as the other branch. It does not have that marbling.

Ordered got taken wrongly as my child clearly heard me asking for curry chicken katsu but the waitress kept insisting it is katsu only. Curry and rice is then charged separately.

I like sukiyaki soup for hot pot. The beef they served with hot pot tastes good. My all time favourite is Fujiya salad.

Good food but the service gets worst as you stay longer. They kept ignoring and delaying our orders although we are paying 500+

Very tasty food, very well trained staff and always greeted very politely by manager Akio san, the best japanese restaurant in Dubai.

Located inside swisotel Near BURJ Khalifa, went there after it was highly recommended on wechat. Car can be parked within hotel by using the valet and the card authenticated by the restaurant.

There are two options on the menu hot pot or BBQ. The BBQ price is varying and depends what option you are going for premium wagyu, wagyu or Australian beef. We went with Japanese A5 wagyu which comes with unlimited sides. The beef was really oily and the taste was nowhere near real wagyu beef, which melts in your mouth. The sides were ok but nothing worth raving about. The service was excellent the ambience ok. But the food was not to the standard for the price being charged. Much better option will be mimi kakushi in four season hotel.

Will not recommend this place for BBQ atleast, hotpot might be good as all were having this option.

Terrible. Ordered A5 Japanese Wagyu. Was not seasoned at all and did not have any notable taste of a quality meat. The pricing is also too much. Overrated. Service is also not that good. I'm disappointed as last time it was pretty decent. Good grape juice though.

May and nerresa are wonderful! You will love stay in this plce and enjoy the japanese foods. We love the foods and the service.

Best Japanese authentic restaurant in Dubai. The place is amazing and the service is extraordinary. Thanks to Ms. Larrie and Donna for the great experience. We will come back again for sure only for Donna.

If you want to find an authentic japanese ramen, give Fujiya a go! I think Fujiya has the best ramen imo.

Btw, their takoyaki is sooooooo goood!

Highly recommend Japanese Resto. I love their spicy miso soup the best and wagyu beef is so tender and juicy. Also they have a very good deal 150 per person for unlimited beef and house drinks (beer and cocktails) specials thanks to Ivy for the amazing customer service?

The restaurant has an ambient atmosphere. The staff are very accomodating and friendly. Ramen is very tasty and highly recommended.

I am in dubai for 11 years. This is the first time I have ever the most unhelpful and unfriendly experience. It is definitely anti-friendly for kids in this restaurant. They have very high stairs, which the staff will not help you to lift it till one of guests inside helped me out, which you can check the CCTV. Also, when my friend first arrived and asked for a private room, they said they have limit table spend for 200 each person, which we ensured them that we will spend this amount or above. After that, they said ok. Again they said no coz we have to choose the another package with 280. We can we can choose something else what we want, but we will definitely spend that amount. After that, they told us there is reservation on that table. Excuse after excuse. You haven’t informed anything like this to us when I called for a booking. Also, ur website didn’t mention anything like this as well. Till we left around 9pm which we came around 6: 30, another 2 rooms are no ones taken.
The manager Aiz is so rude and unfriendly with her look in her eyes. I don’t know why you hired her as your manger. Other girls are much better than her. Definitely gonna tell this to my network whoever I know not to go to this restaurant!

Its very bad service for forcsing spend.we are two person with a 9months baby.bcz baby too small and don’t want to border other person dining.we were ask if we could use VIP room.as we check with staff before for VIP room needs 200 AED minimum spend for each person.i agree with that so they assist us to VIP room.after that we were ask if we could use offer.they said yes and late around we’re be informed that if i want to use discount.i’m unable to use VIP room.it needs to pay original price.what is the difference with after discount also could reach the minimum spend? And after change reason said we did not make reservation.the vip room it were booked.if already booked.why you are assist us to sit? It’s really redicule.won’t come back to this restaurant anymore.it’s coldness service

It's our first time to dine in here and we will definitely come back and even refer this to our friends! We ordered unlimited yakiniku (bbq) and the wagyu was so delicious! Donna was so great and lovely! We had a wonderful time!

Great service! The beef cuts for Yakiniku were perfectly cooked by the staff. They have nice salad too!
