Lovely staff they will greet you by the door with enthusiasm, the ambiance is great. We ordered Yakiniku BBQ. They cooked it for us to perfection. The sides are oishi, i highly recommend the chicken karaage and the fujiya rolls. Over all great experience and will come back.

Finally! Authentic Japanese food, taste, and mood! That's one hidden gem. Trust me. The menu is mind boggling with endless choices. And what's more, they actually grate "real" wasabi on a shark skin right in front of you. It's so good that I went there 2 days in a row. If you're a true sushi lover, this where you'll find true sushi!

The unlimited bbq buffet maintains its delicious taste that we keep coming back multiple times in a month. The staff are all helpful especially John and Rica. Indoor or outdoor options. Highly recommended!

The food is fantastic! We tried on 3 different occasions. We had the A5 wagyu yakiniku style and also shabu shabu style. Both were very tasty and the buffet options has a large variety of things u can have too! We also tried the curry rice from the buffet. The ramen was also good and karaage was made perfectly. We want to give a shout out to John from Uganda (sorry, didn’t catch your last name!). He was so observant and came to assist us before we even knew we needed something! He was very friendly and kind and just an overall great server. We enjoyed his service very much!

Great Customer Service! We ordered the Unlimited Australian Wagyu Beef BBQ! The cut of the beef was really good. The beef was really good and flavorful!

Had very high expectations from Fujiya after reading the reviews and and looking at the ratings however the food was average. We tried 4 different types of sushi, 3 different appetizers and 2 types of dessert. Nothing was special in any of the categories we tried. I haven’t tried the grilled beef yet. Parking at the hotel was very tight and the I don’t recommend giving the paid valet your car I saw him trying to park a car under ground and he took 20 minutes to park 1 car.

A good place to go for an all you can eat bbq experience. We usually get the Australian bbq all you can eat for 200 AED per person which is a bargain for what you get. If you want to splurge you can go for the all you can eat Japanese Wagyu which would cost you a little over 350 AED per person. Overall a good place for a weekend if you want to bbq yourself (just leave the shower till after you finish as your clothes will stink). Only downside to this place is the service is slow. I would give a 3.5 out of 5 if I could on the app. You should give it a try

Best Japanese restaurant I’ve been to in Dubai. We enjoyed the food a lot. We found the small dishes and shabu shabu to be the best. Sushi is unfortunately subpar. Skip it.

This particular outlet is a lot less crowded than the one inside the Swisshotel. If you don’t mind the ride to the airport you’ll be rewarded by a more peaceful dining experience.

The staff was great and I appreciate the friendliness and hospitality of Filipino people but I feel like it would add to a more authentic experience to have Japanese waiting staff. But that’s a problem of all kind of restaurants in Dubai. They hire waiting staff that has very little connection to the culture and the food they’re serving. At a certain price point I would even expect that.

I can genuinely recommend this restaurant.

This is one of the best Japanese and Korean restaurants in UAE. The food is top class I am a regular there with my family and we love it… the team at Fujiya too is amazing… keep up the amazing taste as always

Good start bad ending. We were 3 friends and 2 of us ordered the unlimited bbq one of the staff told if we caught ur friend eating with u it will be extra charge and I felt it was rude. Moving on food was great at start but when we ordered the next plate we wanted thin slices and they got us big thick slices which didn't cook well with their grill.

Nice to sit outside with wonderful weather. Friendly and excellent service worth to come back again.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant with it's very authentic Japanese dishes such as it's Yu lin chicken, wagyu beef and gyoza. Staff are always attentive and helpful. I had a very nice dinner here when the restaurant was celebrating it's third anniversary and I look forward to coming back.

Best you get to use entertainer there for main meals. Staff was very patient though in repeating the deals, but of course if they list out the tnc in the menu, that will be much easier for them as well as the diner.

Very good food and a big selection. Japanese/Korean food. Katsu curry. Different sushi. Ebi shrimp tempura, fujiya roll, spicy edamame, Tokyo California roll, Shabu - big meal - You boil your own meat and vegetables in a prepared sauce. Very healthy. Will definitely go back. You can request the private room if you are a big crowd.

Japanese food here is often a pretentious affiar, with restaurants emphasizing style over substance, not Fujiya. I lived in Tokyo for two years, and the food here took me right back. The sukiyaki was superb - a wonderfully balanced broth paired beautifully with delicate slices of wagyu beef. Virtually all of the menu boasts authentic flavors, providing a true Japanese dining experience without being pretentious. On the contrary, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with the owner personally ensuring people were satisfied. We were that and more, I'm already looking forward my next meal here. A new favorite for sure - well done Fujiya!

I just want to share my happy experience with fujiya al murooj, we ate bbq and alacarts the food was really amazing and really delicious.accompanied by kind waitresses and very accommodating specially to the waitress whose name is Jai very good service, thankyou fujiya for the wonderful experience. I make sure we come back with my friends.

Additionally the Ice cream was exceptional, and the flavors were unique.

Amazing! Home cooked style, extensive menu, everything is delicious. Mouth watering wagyu, shrimps and chicken, amazing salads, what a treat! The staff is super attentive and friendly. I have been twice already in the first week! Recommended.

Really great Japanese restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was really good. Unfortunately the grill option is only available outside and the place was fully booked however we hope that next time we go we will get to try it as we have heard many good things. Best restaurant in town! I felt like in in Japan! The decor & ambiance r amazing! The barbecue buffet is super delicious, try the fusion sushi, chicken karage, ice green tea n macha ice cream! Fujiya became one of my favorite Japanese restaurant in Dubai! I recommend it 100%, totally worth it

This restaurant is always my favorite for meat BBQ. We were one of several customers who had meal when they were newly opened and I could see the increase of guest visiting this place. That only means FOOD IS GREAT! And indeed it is great. From BBQ buffet, side dishes and drink options were perfect to have for empty stomach or even just spending quality time with friend. It is just a shame summer is coming again and sitting and grilling outside will be limited! But this is one of highly recommended restaurant in Dubai. Looking forward to visit their sister resto-Kimura-ya!

This is a hidden gem with wide selection of authentic Japanese cuisine on the side of hotel near Dubai airport. I tried the salmon sashimi and a spicy tuna roll. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The spicy tuna roll was just ok as one of the toppings was not to my liking. The service was excellent. I’d come back and try other dishes.

This is my nth time to come here and i must say the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff never fail to impress.my kids, who are picky eaters, always ask to come here.they always leave this place full to the brim!

This is definitely a must try whenever in Dubai! Authentic Japanese, great quality beef, great atmosphere, Amazing service! Thank you for a great meal! We had the BBQ Wagyu AYCE and wow delicious! Four types of Wagyu, all fresh and generous portions. We were seated outside, but even in the heat of Dubai summer, there is air conditioning so you wouldn't even notice the heat outside. Bonus, it's nearby to Festival City Dubai too, a great post dinner spot.

We went on two occasions - one for Shabu Shabu hotpot and the other for ala Carte.

1. Shabu Shabu buffet wagyu beef hotpot - excellent value for aed150/pax. They provide beef, chicken and lamb together with a buffet of veg. It was a very enjoyable dinner with good ingredients, and restaurant was cool enough for us to enjoy a hot boiling pot of water in our faces.

First plate of wagyu beef was top quality. But the second one was not enjoyable at all.

One thing this restaurant needs to note is to RELOOK ITS WASTAGE POLICY. Even though we ordered a buffet, it does not mean the staff can promote wastage. Basically, we finished the first platter of beef, and asked for just a very small portion of extras, and even emphasised it with a small palm action. It came in its ‘small’ size and we refused it and asked for them to take it back because we didn’t want to waste it. Waitress said, “it’s ok because it’s buffet. ” We disagreed and said there are starving people around and we don’t want to waste food but she insisted it’s ok (to waste it) because it’s already the small portion. Such inflexibility and zero care to the business and waste of meat. It could have been a score of 5, if not for this.

2. Ala Carte - we order Oyakodon and ramen. Ramen was good but we were thirsty the whole night. Oyakodon was not bad as well. Will return for ala Carte meals here!

Overall satisfied with the authentic Japanese food. Must tries are karaage and wagyi buffet. The ambience is pleasant. And the staffs are very accomodating. Definetly will come back again. Staff are very accomodating esp ms jen

I am a food lover and I can say that my experience with Fujiya Japanese Restaurant was excellent. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely delightful! We love eating beef and we're spoiled with having a regular supply of AAA grade beef. But this was just amazing:) we had the wagyu BBQ buffet tonight and it was well worth the money. We were also lucky enough to score a good deal on Groupon. But even if I had to pay full price, I'd come here time and time again. The beef is buttery, delicious and leaves you wanting more.
I was also grateful that there was a large side of salad that you can order (repeatedly). Makes for a great refesher in between those mouthfuls of beef.

This is a hidden gem in Dubai. Crews are attentive and they all have courtesy. Food are superb and unlimited, money worthy! I recommend this restaurant especially winter time so you’ll enjoy BBQ dinner

I would consider this one of the Best Japanese restaurant that I tried so far. Their Wagyu beef is must and they have a great customer service.

Food lacks taste and is quite expensive for the quality of the food.the takoyaki seems to be a frozen fried version. Ordered few sushi rolls and they all taste like cucumber, like if it was the main ingredient!
The only good stuff was the pickled mackerel.

This restaurant is a must to visit. Their wagyu barbecue buffet is really good. Food is tasty and no regret that we’ve tried this place. I am with my family with kids (total 13 people) and our kids love the food as well their super tasty ice cream. Our Server Jean is very attentive to our needs and we truly appreciate it. Because of the food and the server we will for sure going to visit again.

If you like Japanese izakaya style restaurant then this place is a fun place to be. Staff are friendly and very hospitable, food here is great. If you like bbq then you go for bbq menu that has wide variety of meat and vegetable to choose from.

Will come with friends and family again but really recommend it for Japanese expats in Dubai if you miss the good old Japanese izakaya.

Highly recommended for people who enjoy Izakaya dining, drinking with light food. I really enjoyed my yakitori and beers here with friends.
