Funky Monkeys Playland

I went to Funkey Monkey on 7th Feb, and was throughly disappointed. They have a very small soft play area, with sections closed. The cost only allows you to use the soft play area, everything else is separate. They have machines which require aed coins, which they are not willing to provide you, you need to go down to the supermarket to get these coins. The other games that require special funkey monkey coins are badly maintained and not worth the costs.

The staff is also not cooperative.

I would recommend take your kids to a magic planet, and they will have a much better time.

We celebrated our daughter’s 4th birthday there. Kids enjoyed a lot. Staff was very helpful and polite especially willson hosting was wonderful. It’s the best place to organize parties for kids. They have so many activities included along with soft play.

The best place for your little ones birthday celebration. Had an amazing party for my daughter's 6th birthday, lovely arrangements, amazingly helpful staff, special thanks to Rihana for all her patience and answering all my questions before the party. Highly recommend.

Really great place. Not too big, not too busy. Clean and handled well. Had a birthday party there and it was wonderful. Kids had lots of fun, thanks to the team and Wilcel, especially. Games, face painting, arts session and best chicken nuggets meal. Birthday room was beautifully decorated. They have different party rooms. Even a pizza making party. Recommend for kids below 8 years old.

Funky Monkey organized my daughters 5th birthday. All the arrangements were perfect and they were very accomadating. The Little Mermaid decor was done beautifully. They also arranged a pizza making activity for the kids.
I would definitely recommend them for birthday parties. They are amazingly good!

Celebrated our daughters 3rd Birthday here and so pleased with how everything went! Rihanna and her Team communicated and organised everything efficiently, including Wilsel who kept us all entertained on the day. The place is clean, massive soft playarea, spacious rooms and mornings are quiet so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves and our guests. The food selection for adults and variety is also really good. The Mascot appearance, face painting, games, the piñata, ceramic painting it all went down a treat! There are different packages to choose from and they include/ work around the theme you have in mind which for us was Unicorn. A Funtime was had by all the kiddos and the Parents. Plenty parking available below. Great place for play dates or just for the kids while parents have their coffees. Thanks Rihanna and Team for a fun experience/ memory!

Celebrated my daughters 6th birthday party here. The snacks ordered were very tasty but most importantly the staff were very kind and helpful.

It is the best place in terms of cost, hospitality and food. I take my kids almost every weekend and they always have a blast. My daughter's birthday party there was unforgettable. I highly recommend it.

To be honest I love this place. My son had recently his 3rd birthday here and it was so fun. The host and staffs are so helpful, which make the planning and the party less stressful. I chose the Chef Theme for his birthday and it was one of the BEST ideas you can encourage children to do a sensorial activity using their 5 senses. My son and all the children were exciting making their own pizza to eat it. Really WOWWWW! What a beautiful Activity you can offer to your child to explore the kitchen. Other than the party venue was lovely, and well decorated. I highly recommend funky monkeys playland for birthdays and other events.

The place is nice, best for ages under 8. The one thing I didn’t like is the way the representatives welcome me, he didn’t encourage me to get my kids in the play area. I asked a question for the cooking activity, he replied that I should book or call in prior. But when I asked how about morning time, he replied (try to come early)! This didn’t clarify to me the process that I need to be aware of! Well my kids played for an hour and we left.

We have visited twice now. The first time about a month ago for a birthday party, and today for some soft play fun!

My two daughters had a blast, ages (4 and 1 and a half) and we’ll be back.

Apart from the climbing frame, slides and ball pit there are gaming machines for the little ones to have a great variety and enjoy themselves.

We’ll stay for longer next time also, hehe x

One of the best play areas we ever went to! And definitely the most professionals in organizing a birthday party. The package is so reach in different activities. Adults enjoyed the arcade games as much as the kids:) their packages also are so good compared to the different activities included and definitely cheaper than other play areas

Funky monkey playland is very nice facility and all the staff were all friendly! Ms. Rehana is the one assisted us and gave details on the birthday party package. I was so amazed and happy at the same time when I went there in their branch at Business Bay. Thanks! Such a pleasure meeting you guys!

We celebrated our daughter's bday at this amazing place, hidden gem with unique themes for bday girls making the day special for the lil1. Very helpful supportive staff, clean & tidy place, understanding & concerned management making the overall experience marvelous. A much recommended place to celebrate special occasions with your kids in memorable way. Cheers to Jessica for her excellent coordination, hard efforts & management of the overall event.

The softplay is very big and with lots of activities, good value for money. Not a great idea to put arcade games (to make extra money) so kids get distracted when they should be playing. Sad that there isn’t ANY healthy food options in a kids place. If food from outside is not allowed, at least sell something that is a good option for kids (no kitkat, doritos, etc)

I celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday and son's 6 month birthday here and we had a wonderful experience. My guests were from new borns to 10 years old & adults and Funky monkey is a perfect place for all kids age groups. I would like to thank Ms. Nadia and her team for their cooperation is every possible way. They have a huge variety of theme based party hall decors. I chose farm theme and it was done so perfectly that guests found it so unique and amazing. The team is so professional they know how to entertain guests and deliver things on time in a perfect manner.

From the decor, food, hospitality, management, activities everything is great here. I would really like to recommend this place. My guest had such anamazing time.

I called Funky Monkeys just now to enquire if they are offering any spring camp for kids. The lady who picked up my call did not seem very interested to take on any customer and barely answered my queries nor volunteered to give any info about the camp. I would assume that if they are not interested to do what they are doing then it would not be a good idea to put my child in the hands of these people. I ended up calling another play area which happily takes on my child for this spring break.

Funkey Monkey i personally highly recommended it for all families regardless of the nationality to visit this place for many reasons;
First of all the staff are so friendly and helpful and knows how to deal with all children regardless of the age. Second i did my sons birthday party for the first time in this place and it was my first experience and i was incredibly happy and amazed by the huge effort that was been done from designing the birthday party and all the activities they have done. I would like to thank Mrs. NADIA and her amazing team for all there efforts for makeing my sons birthday a day to remember.

I celebrated by daughter's birthday @Funky Monkeys last week. The team was very thorough, knew what they were doing, reachable, took care of my requirements and delivered a fantastic party for the children. They gave me the flexibility to customize my party and offered good advice through their experience. My daughter and all her friends had a great time and I surely recommend this place/ team for everything that they offer.

Very disappointing. Too many things to list and with lots of new indoor playgrounds to choose from. We won’t be back to this one!

Great spot to bring your kids and play with them. The staff is very friendly and in this Corona time they maintain the premises clean and tell us to clean our hands with the gel provided in all corners of the playarea. And the coffee for grown-ups is good.

Amazing place for play date, we enjoyed it and my daughter loved it. The team are professional, great hygiene and food was super delicious. They have a sitting area where you can order food or drink while watching you kid playing safely. I'm usually so picky but this place is Highly recommended

Very bad experience we pay as the coupon package but not take all the package and the manager was very aggressive

Went there with 1,5 year old (they confirmed to take from 1 year old, same on website). When there, on reception they said that up to 23-24 months toddler would be allowed only on small area of three arcades, which are like 5 mins for a toddler and not allowed to any other areas.very disappointing!

Good place for children to play. It is not huge in size but good. We like the idea of having an area where adults can sit while children play.

Awesome packages for kids, very well organised. Great party venue too. Exposure to Arts crafts, pottery, play area and PIZZA! Kids loved it!

Very friendly staff. Young kids enjoy the place a lot. We have sent our both kids for summer camp several times there. We've even sent them from morning 9 till evening 8-9. They used to enjoy every minute spent there. All thanks to the lovely staff and the management.

It's a decent place to go once in a while with a discount coupon via entertainer or cobone etc.on the whole there a lot to be desired from a play area, there are plenty of better ones in town

there is a decent thai eatery close to it which is another plus.

I have visited Funky Monkey multiple times. It’s a great place for kids. Perfect jungle themed having slides, swings, blocks, balls pool, face painting, ceramic painting and food area as well. Free parking available outside at the back of building. Lots of offers on Cobone and Groupon makes it an affordable and good choice for parents.
