Very bad experience in Abu Dhabi. Firstly, our container arrived to Prague, the Czech Republic, 31 October 2018 instead of middle of October 2018 at the latest. We suggested that our container departs beginning of August 2018 but we were told by Mrs. Hajar Chahir that middle of August 2019 is ok. We were leaving Abu Dhabi 31 August 2018 and if my husband would not ask if the container was already shipped or not, it would probably be still waiting there to be shipped. As Mrs. Hajar was out of office, Mrs. Celda Salas informed us that they did not ship it yet as we are still in Abu Dhabi! As if if the container would go by plane and would arrive the same day as us! The container was shipped with a big delay due to unprofessional logistics! Furthermore, Mrs. Hajar did not inform us that we will have to pay additional EUR 400 for shuttle service (door-to-door), we learnt this information in October 2018 when a local transportation company told us that the a big truck would not be able to turn in the narrow streets in a capital city - even though Mrs. Hajar knew very well that we are moving to the capital and will be living in the center of the town. Another surprise - we had to pay another EUR 325 for handling the container in the harbor of Bremenhaven. Mrs. Hajar denied everything when we made a complaint. If your company pays your moving, perhaps you do not care but we had to pay the moving by ourselves. On top of it, many things arrived damaged due to unprofessional packing - fridge, carpets, chairs, etc. It took many months to deal with insurance company ANIB and AXA to get only a few hundred dirhams - we had to provide them with a report, many pictures, documents, etc, and we spent endless hours to correspond with them and always sending many reminders to get some response. And the best, the moving team damaged our chairs as they wrapped it so tightly that the artificial leather started to crack and now we can throw all of them in the garbage. But the response from insurance company was that it is not due to moving. The chairs were like brand new before moving! Now they start to peel off. But as I wrote to them, no use to take insurance next time and the chairs were probably damaged due to weather condition or simply by looking at them! I gave up to deal with them but am very disappointed by such unprofessional behavior and making fun of us. But perhaps this is the way to treat clients in Abu Dhabi. When they offer you their services, they are very pleasant as they want your money and nothing is a problem. Once you paid and if problem occurs, no one cares. Good luck if you have to move, especially to Europe - to a capital city, and prepare your wallet for another additional charges! This time I will not thank to anyone, it was a nightmare!

Brilliant team from start to finish. Worked hard to accomodate our completion date even though it kept moving.
On the day of the move, the packing crew turned up on time with clean trucks - very polite, hard workers who got the job done quickly and efficiently, spending time to pack delicate items so that everything arrived in one piece.
Unpacking was just as impressive, managed to get the trucks into the tightest of spaces and all done before 5pm.

GAC International made our move a lot easier than it ordinarily would have been. Every dime we spent was justified considering that I would probably have spent more if I used another means and above all, having all our things safely delivered to our destination was a huge relief.

Good service, generally no major complaints with GAC, their delivery agent was not so great with communication. Otherwise great job.

While preparing for my move back to America, I collected a few quotes from moving companies that were referred to me from friends. While I had heard mixed things from the other names, GAC seemed to have the best reputation and feedback. They were not the cheapest of the bunch, but i have zero regrets!

Packers showed up a little early, all smiles and did a great job carefully packing up. Container got expertly stuffed right in front of my villa when all was done. Coordination team was great and delivery on the other side went smooth as can be too! Thanks GAC!

Once decided I was moving to the UK, i looked at a variety of different options and gathered a few quotes based off recommendations from friends and colleagues. GAC's name was recommended by many and their price was very reasonable compared to some of the global names.

Their crew arrived on time, were very friendly and professional. They took care of everything, didnt have to lift a finger. Superb packing job and handle all my stuff with care. All my stuff arrived in the UK without a scratch on it, so really can not fault them at all.highly recommend!
