They don’t allow people to sit on their “high end gaming chairs” anymore. Why though? It’s not like those “high end” chairs are gonna get damaged or worn out easily.
It’s designed to be sat on by some fat discord mod everyday so it’s probably gonna survive being sat on for a couple of minutes by a stranger (most likely not fat).
Whoever made that rule where people or at least me to not be able to sit on the “high end” chairs anymore is stupid. Screw you whoever you are.
It shows how stupid people who manage these shops can be.
Also they need to deal with the cockroaches on the funko pop section cuz that’s gross.
Very poor service by staff specially mr huzaffa was there very rude first they reserved ps5 for me and when i spent my time and transportation money and went to geekay mall of emirates they said we don’t have they wasted my time and money and when i asked i will complain to police they said ok do anything you want to do
Horrible experience. Bought a ps5 a few months ago and after having a problem with the analog stick of my controller. Trying to get it replaced while it is still under warranty has been one of the worst experiences I've had as a customer. Constant calls telling me that it's not under warranty and then apologizing a few moments later because apparently they were "mistaken". They even tried to make me pay for a new controller. Definitely do not recommend this place!
Forces you to buy ‘bundles’ that are claimed to be free. Try to sell a celebrations box with a ‘free’ coaster for 239. Other GEEKAY branches selling for 139 waste of time to go there, visit other branches.
Fast service, you'll find a majority of your gaming needs inside, friendly staff, you can find some cool figures inside and accessories. Most importantly they have a wide variety of gift cards just as steam, ps, Xbox and so on.
Please avoid this place! They will not let you use the vouchers you paid for, they always have some excuses and make it so complicated that thay disgust your day. Anyway the games are extreméh overpriced, buy on amazon or somewhere else, also this geekay have always everything out of stock!

I have reserved a PS5 more than 50 days ago. One week ago I have confirmed my reservation for the launch at the store. When I came to the store on the launching day, they didn’t have it. It seems that pre-ordering and reservation are now different things, but they forgot to mention that any time before. Looks like doing a reservation does not guarantee that they will have the item for you? !? ! I have bought launches from this store before, having reserved the same way I did, without any problem. So now I imagine if I have went to a hotel with a reservation and they tell me that my reservation does not guarantees me a room. Anyway, there seems to be a good reason why Videogame stores are on the edge of extinction. After this outrageous experience, I am never going to this store again. Shame on you Geekay store.
Got to say very unprofessional company along with employees i got a call for my ps5 reservation today even though I got mine from Jumbo at launch i told him hold on and give me few mins I'll call back for confirmation to get it for my cousin and the employee named Mohammed stopped answering my phone calls and hanging up the phone. Even on the launch day they only gave the ps5 to people who bought the full bundle which i rejected feels like a fruit market rather than gaming store
Faulty PS4 headset - called and told to check settings, which i did. Due to isolating was unable to visit until 2 weeks later from initial purchase. Informed as wasn't brought back immediately i was unable to get replacement, was not informed this on the phone. Faulty bought items should be replaced, not repaired.
Team were very unhelpful and not understanding. Will not shop here again.
Said if i sent for repaid would take 7 days - then told needed to sign something that said up to 30 days. (despite feeling repair was unacceptable)
When i bought my items, the customer in front of me was complaining about the service and items - thought it may have been a one off. Obviously not the case.
Bunch of liars. Bought an item from the website and was told it was damaged. Item was sold to someone else instead of me. Unprofessional and a stupid excuse. Wouldn’t recommend
I wish I had read this feedback earlier. I have found Geekay extremely unhelpful. I purchased an Xbox live voucher for my son who is isolating in the UK but it was for the wrong region. I am not a gamer so was unaware of such restrictions. Geekay Games seemingly couldn't careless. No refund. No exchange. No credit. A virtual shrug of the shoulders. I will never shop here again. I intend to contact Microsoft directly. Maybe they will be more helpful.
With regret we have decided never to buy anything from Geekay from this point on. Two recent situations have left us feeling that they are there to make things difficult wherever possible. Weak excuses for refusing to issue a credit note and two pairs of headsets that have presented with technical faults leave no doubt that they need do something about their suppliers and their customer service. They have missed an opportunity of creating a trusting and loyal customer. Very stupid and very sad.
Went in today at around 12pm and was looking to purchase a cougar armor titan gaming chair, but the staff was really rude and asked my wife and neice to leave as the staff was taking photos of the store.decided to buy somewhere else.
