Xpensive school, 0 education, everything is built on commerce, there is a construction site nearby - sand is flying from all sides, there are no parking lots, there is nowhere to park the car, every day I wash my car because of the school! Just awfulгая

I can't say enough positive things about this school! The teachers are incredibly dedicated and truly care
about their students' success. The curriculum is well-structured, providing a strong educational
foundation. The school's welcoming and inclusive atmosphere makes it a fantastic place for learning.

As a student I don't like it. Prove me wrong if you dare. (This school has weird people and all) (but don't get me wrong, everyone had their own view and some times are quite fun)

Save your money, the school doesn’t respect locals or speak to them in a nice way. Rude kids, 1 week in and a child is already fighting with my child and the teacher is giving the excuse that “the child that bullied my kid is not well”, completely unacceptable. Very rude receptionist and most teachers, they talk back. I expect getting my money back and involving KHDA. My daughter is going through trauma and don’t like going to school anymore. Inspection is needed

I was a student at GWA for almost 10 years and I can say that it’s a good school. Considering that I left this year gives some doubts and concerns but, here’s my real opinion: GWA is one of the best IB schools in Dubai but it is incredibly expensive. As a lot of new decisions have been made since the new principled arrived a lot has changed, some for the better and some for the worst, I have nothing against the new principled, in fact, I think she’s a very smart and sophisticated women who has so much passion. I believe that sometimes though, she can be a little strict, I think that students such as myself like to have more liberty and the more liberty we have the more we listen. The only reason I give GWA two stars is because it was my second home. I hope this review was helpful and if I in any way shape or form offended anyone, I sincerely apologize.

As my kid has slight autism they do have inclusion department and we do the initial assessment and supposed to be another two hours one to decide whether he needs a shadow teacher or not.they emailed us that he needs a shadow teacher which cost extra 60000, without doing the two hours assessment.all they care about is money.

When I was in grade 10, everything seemed to be going well at school. However, things took a turn for the worse after that. The biggest issue was with my math teacher. For an entire year, we didn't have a consistent math teacher, and it made learning incredibly difficult. Just when we would start getting used to a new teacher, they would leave, and the cycle would continue.

It wasn't just math that was affected; it seemed to happen with other subjects too. The business class and economics classes also suffered from frequent teacher changes. It was frustrating because it meant there was no continuity in our learning. Just when we were starting to build a rapport with a teacher and getting into the flow of the subject, they would leave, and we'd have to start all over again with someone new.

What made matters worse was that most of the teachers at our school didn't seem to care. They appeared disinterested and lacked the enthusiasm and dedication that we needed as students. It felt like we were just going through the motions, and education became a mere formality rather than a meaningful learning experience.

There were a few exceptional teachers who genuinely cared, but they were few and far between. It was those rare teachers who made a positive impact on my education and kept me motivated to continue despite the challenges.

Overall, dealing with inconsistent and apathetic teachers has made my educational journey in grades 11 and 12 quite challenging. It's disheartening when the people responsible for our learning don't show the same level of commitment that we as students strive to have.

This school is extremely expensive for what you get. As soon as you have signed up - they do anything to squeez out more money from you. Everything is just about money and not the children. Everything sounds soo good and the school looks good - but they do have big problems with bulleing and bad teachers.

My friend went to an MUN event and was dress coded and sent home after hours of collecting research for it.when she arrived home, shortly after she found out that other people got dress coded as well, however we’re not sent home.this sets a bad example for the school, as it could show ulterior motives for why she was sent home.

Other than twisting stories to get you in trouble and not listening to both sides of the story, students can vape in the bathrooms and not get in any sort of trouble, bathrooms smell awful, students use disgusting language and manipulate you, teachers are biased, students will share vapes in the bathrooms during COVID 19 the school clearly hasn’t addressed these issues, I stayed 2 weeks in this school and they made me pay a whole term (3 months) and didn’t even return any money, I don’t recommend you put your kids there.

The school is not as good as you think,
The classrooms are filled with bugs and these bugs are coming from a hole is the wall, this hole is filled with mold.
The school is horrible now since anew principal came last year!

Hygiene and Care quality is atrocious, For an Arabic lesson on Sunday we had to rotate classrooms (during Covid-19) without any sort of cleaning or sanitization as well as fitting 20 people in half a swimming pool (20x10) meters. The next day I felt a severe case of multiple symptoms as well as most of my friends, students and in different levels, out of my 4 friends and me, the symptoms includes - Headache (3) Nausea (1) Soar Throat (2) Stomach ache (3) Blocked nose (3) Runny Nose (3) Vomiting (1) Dizziness (4). If you (the school) are reading this please take proper security measures with Hygiene, Cleaning and support by staff. My friends teacher did not care when my friend said he was sick and only cared about his shoelace being tied, overall just please check the quality of hygiene and please change it.

I’ve been a student at GWA for 7 years and there’s no school better. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, everyday there are at least 20 people that say good morning or hello with a big smile.

Even though with the situation it’s been harder the learning experience hasn’t changed. The hallways are always spotless and the classrooms respect social distancing by have the desks at a 2 meter distance from each other. Every class has at least 1 hand sanitizer dispenser if not more.

All of the teachers are amazing and no matter what it takes they will do the best that they can for you to feel safe and happy. Every teacher will do anything to help you learn but without pages and pages of homework and books instead they do it by making it fun.

This school really does feel like home.

I can testify that this is one of the best if not the best school for your kids living in Dubai. The location is perfect and serene for studies and it is very safe. Visit the school for more details

Whilst this school offers extensive facilities - planetarium, recording studio, olympic sized swimming pool, etc.the real value in this school is in the community. This school feels like a family, and it really is a wonderful place to be.

This school has changed a lot in the 6 years I have been there. There are some good teachers, but they are few and far between. Also, the general environment is not great. Most of the students don't respect a lot of the teachers, and the students are more focused on material things, like designer bags, rather than the schoolwork. The school has also become more test-oriented, rather than focusing on the student, and tries to impress the government, often at the risk of the students.

All the teachers are nice, most of the students follow the rules, some misbehave but overally I like this school.
