الموظف لم كن مركز معي كان مشغول بهاتفه، و لم يعطني الاهتمام الكافي مع اعطائي معلومات غير صحيحة أنه بإمكاني تمديد الإقامه السياحيه. و بعدها أرسلني لآمر.
I applied for a virtual work visa and it was a horrifying experience. They will ask you to buy an annual insurance to apply and get AED 400 from you and then reject you without a reason. You can't talk to anyone dealing with the application and they give two word comments that also in arabic. Dont apply for the virtual work visa its a scam to earn bucks through applications.
They close today Friday at 11 am for pray and should close at 12 pm not 11 am the officer not allowed any one to go inside after 11 am. Which is very bad service. I suggest any one don't go on Friday or go after 2 pm
I'm in dubai now its immigration system have a issue in that system I left I'm not satisfied with dubai gdrfa I never seen this type of service in my life

I received my golden visa nomination approval 2 months back. The people over here will not help at all with the next process. They ask you to do a video call from their website, which I can do sitting at home. They send you to Amer and Amer sends you back to this awful office.
Worst of the worst attitude and behavior. No one even care to listen and still shout at you in public with no reason. Embarrassing.we have problem and we have to face embarrassment and get insulted in public. Still no solution
Not user friendly.i applied for hayya card holder visit visa, they rejected for all four of us. Then applied again me and my husband got visa approved but my kids got rejected again saying profession is not allowed. Their customer service is also not upto mark, very bad. Waste of money and time, i lost around 1600 qr, very disappointing and useless. From qatar.
Well organized service, not so long queue. My problem was successfully solved, but I had to visit them twice to get the result. Thanks to the officers.
The only government office I’m always hesitant to visit. Everyone attending the customers seem to be in a bad mood, as if they had a fight before coming to work. Even if you come early morning, the attitude of the staff is same. Just how HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum took notice of the postal services, he should take notice of this department as well.
My experience at GDRFA is excellent. They treated me with all respect and listened my problem and help me to resolve it. I am highly thankful to this department. Don't listen to anyone who says that they don't listen. Go yourself and experience yourself. They are really generous.
Dubai Police and GDFRA don't care of People Sentiments and Efforts for which came to them. They don't show empathy to those whose having problem related to Passport Lost Certificate. Police adviced to run to GDFRA, Jafliya and when you reached there, they will tell you to go, Al Awer which 45 Kms by Taxi. They seriously don't care of people time and efforts. They just sitted for No reason I guess. I am struggling to get my Passport Lost Certificate, I spent almost 500 DHS without getting Passport Lost Certificate to get issue new one. But This is Dubai where no one cares for expats but they forget one expats are one who is working for their economy. Very Pathetic Service from Dubai Legal Service.
I would like to speak to any kind of customer service head regarding this immigration office. Had a horrible experience with extremely distasteful and rude staff. Absolutely appalling. If anyone can contact me or help me understand how can an office staff have such terrible behavior. We are residents of this country and we always have felt like the UAE is our second home, Unfortunately due to this staff we feel like we are not welcomed in this country. Its very shameful.
Very nice service, if you have all the documents ready then it will not take much time, max it will take around 20-30minutes (including token waiting time), i went today for visa stamping on passport. As other people commented they are asking for PCR report but in my case nobody checked but make ensure you have green status on Alhosn App (i.e negative pcr result not more than 15days old) Thats it.
My experience on this place was very good. Recent I had an issue while applied Residence Visa for my family. Their Old visa from Sharjah was cancelled and they were in India. When applied for new Visa from Dubai, visa application was keep on returning. I visited all the immigration offices to clear this issue. When ever I go, they check and says that Al Ok from there side. I was running around for this alimony 3 weeks and then I visited tha mein office in Al Jafalia. U explained my situation to the counter and the person was kind enough to call his supervisor to highlight the issue and told me to wait for some time. After some time one of the high ranking officer came to me and introduce me as Captain. He took my application and came back in 15 minuets and told me not to worry and will be approved in some time. I was still not in a position to believe as this was told by all the immigration when I visited.
But for my surprise, when I checked the status in 1 hour, it was approved
GDRFA Dubai one of the best government services in Dubai. All their services can be done through GDRFA application like new entry permits, new residency, renewal, cancellation inside and outside the country and travel reporrs. You can reach them through the Toll free number 8009090 and 0097143139999 outside the country and the call center is available 24/7
Extremely Poor customer service and no customer support at all. Went for inquiry of application of renewal residence visa, person attending will tell to go to Twar Centre or Manara centre, not cooperative
This review is mainly about Amer service center that exists there nearby the immigration building, which, I have added to the map today, you can process all residency queries there in this office and you can luckily see the working hours I have concluded here in this review. At last, check the parking codes so you save time texting to the correct area code, check the screen shot too; parking will cost 2 dirhams per hour, if you park via text send to 7275 with plate number space zone number of hours. Hope you find my experience useful to you!

Much much better than before. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Now easily you can finish your work there, attached to metro station, very easy to reach. A really 5 star service
Rude people at the counters! I had some issue I had to wait until my turn came and when it was my turn I went to counter the man on the counter was busy on his phone I went to him I'm explaining my issue and he acts as if there is no body sitting in front of him (racist) No body does this behaviour with his dog that I have experienced oh gosh what a disaster so these counters didn't solve my problem eacher counter sent me to one another counter until I visited another branch

I have visited this Office multiple times. In my opinion, the Emirati ladies in Ameer need improvement. I always stumbled to their Counter. All same attitude. One lady was too busy with her phone and i have to wait for her. Their knowledge about their job is limited, no customer service quality. They only know how to check from the Passport number and no clue what steps to be taken further. They seem not happy to serve the customers. I should have gone to Al Aweer Immigration (very far) for nothing if i follow her Instructions. My issue was able to solved at Ameer itself. Probably she doesn't know or wanted to pass me to someone else hand like a ball to clean her hand.
The 2 gentleman at the Reception Desk know far better than the ladies sitting in the Counter. They are smart, kind, helpful and approachable. I double check with those guys and I saved my time and money because of them.

Comments as per my experience: 1. Friendly information desk. 2. Counter desks staff are busy chatting and scanning their mobile while people wait in queue. 3. Counter desks staff will stare you blankly in the eye while you greet them and after you say "thanks".
No offence meant, just we need to call their attention for a better government service.
Horrible experience, the people in the information desk are super kind, but when i went to the “4 department”, the woman who is the ladies desk its rude and doesn’t want to give you information, this person its not qualified to be working in a public position, 0% helpful.
This is the Dubai immigration main office building. You can renew your Visa here and inquiry about your stay permit and much more.
The staff is very helpful and hard-working. You will get all what you need from information to the process of your Visa.
If you are local you can renew your passport here.
This location is very convenient because parking is big, bus stop is near the building, taxi stop as well and the metro station is just outside the building.
Typing shops available here (too many). Restaurants and cafe and ice cream shop is inside the building.
ATM machine is also available here and you can use any payment method you want.
There are lot of different staff and different language, so don't worry about communication they will speak your language and you will be taken care of.

Aged employees with no intention to work.did not even see my paper to check on system just asked me yes what is the problem i explained and he said sunday sunday baba go to the manager he will sign 7 to 1 he works.really very disappointed from the residency department and the process of the visa in general.no one knows the information not the useless call centre 8005111 not any one else in the whole process. 4 days i got rejection sms for each document every day stating this is missing that is missing.why couldn't they send in one sms one time once and for all for all the missing documents.bo ine even knows in the call centre where to guide and what to guide.after calling more than 10 times someone helped me some how by just informing i need ti visit the jafilia branch and that toowith wrong timing till 8 pm they work but the manager is till 1 if this information was given could have saved me a day expsense and time savings.i really wish and hope the authorities set clear rules for we not to suffer further with such kind of low class services

My son is on employment visa his company cancel his visa with out stamping the visa i check by self his visa status showing that visa has been cancel but they didn't give him any cancellation papers they give him only one paper that is entry permit and stamped with cancelled from immigration.i ask for cancellation papers PRO told me that his visa was not stamped he can leave the country just show the entry permit with immigration stamp please help me regarding this issue i don't want any problem at air port for him at the time of exit.

I've had more than one bad experience at this place, last one was that no one was sitting at the counter where I am supposed to pick up my passport because that person went to pray (nothing wrong with that) which means people were lining up on a counter that doesn't need to have a que.
I renewed my passport online, chose to pick it up there instead of waiting since I had a flight comming up soon and didn't want to rely on courier delivery times, when I went to pick up the passport they said the transaction didn't happen, and they don't know how to continue an online transaction which prompted them to direct me to a manager who was well aware that they only had to enter the transaction number for the process to happen, a process that took 10 seconds, but I've been there for 30 minutes not knowing what to do.
Another instance where the employee changed my family name without my permission in my family book, which took months to correct with the help of managers and connections since they were asking me to prove that I am from this family although it was a n employees mistake.
So one thing I know is good about this place, they protect their employees so kudos.
For the rest of us, we need to wait more for the place to mature more.
Edit: when the person came back to the counter to give out ready passports, I was given last since I wasn't wearing traditional clothing. Discrimination? No comment.
Had visited two times the office once for entry visa purpose for family and then for visa stamping. For both the cases I was asked to visit another branch for reasons I do not understand! It was the same GDRFA office that was mentioned on the website fpr the matters of my visit. It would be great if they clearly state on website or somewhere that for so and so reasons you do not have to come to the main office. It will save a great deal of time for the customer! While I am also in line of reviews about disregarding the individual completely when you meet and greet them.
Today i went with fasting and on the front desk information, they did not guide me and send me in the wrong office.when i wait around more then one hour after give me 5 second and send me other building no guidance just treat like we are Animal. Again i went to the other desk in other building then same misguidance, it seems they do not know any thing just wasting our time, In finally i went in fourth area when i got my turn he said time is over after come 2 o clock, i humble requested instead he helped me very rudely he replied i request you to come after 2 then at result 3 hours i spend over there in the office only inquiry so get nothing this is the service i got it.
