GNC is a great clinic the staff are very professional, helpful and kind. professor Wolfgang Maiers is very professional and empathetic. I felt heard and understood. He answered all my questions and cleared any doubts I had. I am very grateful to have found this clinic.

I’ve been seeing prof. Maier for a few month now and I must say that every session I learn so much about the way my mind works, behaviour patterns that don’t serve me and how to improve. I found what is needed in Professor Maier at the German Neuroscience Center. It is difficult to find a doctor at his calibre. He combines thorough clinical experience with deep knowledge of the Neurology of the brain. Prof Maier pays attention to details. On top of it, he keeps in touch & follows the progress of his patients by direct contact. I have tried other psychiatrists in Dubai and I was disappointed. Prof Maier delivered for me with flying colours.

For the last few weeks, I’ve been seeing Dr. Alfred Gull and just started with EMDR as treatment for anxiety disorder.
The sessions including EMDR has been held online - which is great for me, considering it’s done in the comforts of my own home, no stress of commuting and it works just as well as being physically in the clinic. On top of this, I don’t have to unnecessarily expose myself to catching COVID-19 by being outside.
EMDR was a completely new concept for me, and as a newbie, I must say I feel results already after the first session. I feel calmer the next day (although the first hours after I had the session was a bit rough, it doesn’t last). I’m looking forward to my next session already.
Dr Gull’s approach is not to just deal with the ongoing symptoms / band aid temporary solution; he believes it’s more important to get to the root of the problem; therefore focusing on the past, even childhood experiences; and eventually work to remove the emotional connection with a traumatic memory or past experience. This takes time, patience and lots of work; and with Dr Gull’s guidance, I believe that I am on a good way to full recovery.
I fully recommend all of the above: from the online sessions to EMDR, and most importantly, seeing Dr Gull to assist you in your journey.

Very good experience at this clinic. Dr. Hueing is very kind and patient with my concern. I am still under treatment, but already feeling better. And the reception staff (Melissa) is very friendly and helpful, doing her best to accommodate my needs.

Very happy with the therapy in general with Dr Alfred, after just a few sessions I can see amazing result, and progress, especially after EMDR therapy session, I was a bit sceptical about EMDR because I never heard about it before, but I m glad I tried it and I m very impressed how effictive it is.

I would like to share my experience, so far the communication is not the best at all, I had 3 sessions with Dr. Alfred he is a nice person to talk to but it was a waste of time, I have not felt at all any tinny improvement neither he gave me tips of improving my self, I have tried other psychologist and there was a huge difference, I'm sorry but I Don't know how they got high rate!

Poor customer service and the Psychologist mentioned that she doesn't want to see new patients! Pathetic and careless human care in a cruel world.

I was very impressed by the new online sessions that they have set up for patients so they can still interact with doctors during this time wether they want time stay at home or come into the clinic. The staff at the reception was very professional and the nurse helping me with the video call was exceptionally friendly. An outstanding place, you can tell it is of German quality.

After consulting with other orthopedic doctor and neurologist in Dubai, which both wanted to operate immediately, I decided to seek a 2nd opinion. I visited twice, one with Dr. Klyk, and the second time with Dr. Marquadt since Dr. Klyk was out of the country. They were both extremely professional, not rushing and really trying to understand the problem. It is a small size clinic so you feel well taken care of and not in a "hospital like " setting, which for me was good. They did a very thorough examination, not leaving door open to any interrogations. I did not need surgery in the end. Always consult twice!

Headaches? I just visited the right clinic. Dr. Klyk made a thorough assessment which does not usually happens in Dubai. You can feel that she gives enough time in taking your history to derive in her diagnosis. At the same time, nurses are also accommodating and show professionalism in their field. Don’t think twice when you want a neuro consult.

One of the few psychiatric clinics in Dubai, so your options are sort of limited. They have some good doctors, but not every doctor. Hence, I recommend you to see multiple ones to choose your treatment administrator. Also, all of the doctors are not 100% in Dubai. They alternate between Dubai and Germany in general and sometimes they are not back for a month. So you end up seeing so many different doctors and inconsistency is kind of annoying.

Worst thing about the clinic is the front desk staff: They don’t have available psychiatrist of all times. So sometimes they expect you to not to get your refill (!) as it is Panadol. They are rude (almost all except literally one lady), have big attitude and pull a long face all the time. They do not understand the delicate nature of the medical field this clinic offers. They are absolutely always unwilling to help. So if I could I would change my clinic because of them. They book patients with 15 mins difference (each session at least takes 15 - 40 mins), so they cause long delays and chain reaction long queues.

Extraordinarily professional, courteous, and efficient. Professor Maier took more than ample time to sit down and explain everything, and is genuine in hearing you out and helping you. The staff are very friendly and the clinic is easy to find.
I would highly recommend coming here.

Extremely professional and kind personnel. They were very patient as I was coordinating with my insurance company and assisted me greatly in the process. I am extremely satisfied from my doctor who dedicated all the time needed to address my concerns.

Very friendly receptionists, neat and clean clinic, liked sweets in Waiting area. I will add another comment once results finilized.

Was not impressed at all. They made me wait 45 minutes even though I had an appointment. Then the doctor saw me for a total of around 6 minutes, asked a few questions and ordered a whole list of tests that need insurance approval. Did not feel like there was valid basis for the tests either.
Overall bad experience and did not get any result of the visit.

German Neuroscience centre was recommended by the EAP program at the office. This was a first time I was seeing a psychologist and was not sure what to expect. My experience has been life changing. A special thanks to Dr Fabian who helped me see life in a different perspective, to live in the moment and to appreciate myself for what I do. He started me on a new journey of life and it is mine to take forward. Thank you Dr Fabian and the staff at GNC.

They have very good experienced doctors. I like health care city clinic which is well organized and nice and wonderful staff.

I have been to neurologists before but have never had an examination as detailed and as thorough. The staff here are friendly and helpful and the doctors take their time to listen and understand.

I am very happy that I found the German Neuroscience Center here, the doctors are really helpful, they are carefully listens to you and gives you the right medication and advises.
