Cannot recommend this place enough! It’s very difficult to find a place in Dubai that have non traditional wedding dresses but yet still elegant and bridal. Just left G+P and the boutique was so tranquil, we literally felt like we were all home sat on the sofa with all my friends, it felt that familiar. Such a relaxed, happy and calming environment. The dresses were beautiful, with so much variety, my friend had the best time trying them on. I could tell she was so relaxed and happy.

We felt zero preasure from May, she was so understanding, kind and helpful. We were allowed to take photos, which tells me the boutique is so confident and also understanding. Really going above and beyond to help, writing down names and designers for the bride to peruse at her leisure.

Definitely go look for a dress here. Best experience ever.

Since G&P opened, I knew I would get my wedding dress from them one day! When I finally got engaged, I went straight to their beautiful shop! I instantly fell in love with the whole process. May was the most welcoming, kind and helpful woman any bride would be lucky to work with! I can wholehearedly say I got married in my dream dress. I get nostalgic everytime, I would choose her a thousand times!

We have just had the most wonderful experience at Ginger & Poppy with May. The whole experience was so relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. May was very patient (as my sister wanted to try on many dresses) and she fitted each dress so lovely to my sister so we could get an understanding of the fit. It really was such a lovely, enjoyable experience.

The place is very cute, and very clean. The process of choosing and trying dresses is logical and easy. May put me at ease, despite me not being a dress person. She easily found the dresses that fit me best and knew how to give me advice.

I bought my dress quite last minute (I placed the order in May for a wedding in September in France) and although I had to pay extra for it, the dress arrived earlier than expected, beginning of August.

From the moment I entered the shop to the day I collected my dream dress the service was 5 star. May was so helpful and accommodating, she was never pushy or made me feel rushed whilst trying on different styles and was more than happy for me to zoom my family back home to get involved. May's thoughtful and friendly approach to wedding dress shopping is truly the best in the business. I would guess that the first step inside her store - a calm, dreamy and beautifully curated space - instantly brings any nervous bride to be a sense of peace. It's like a karmic nod of approval that you've chosen the right place - you just know you're in good hands with May.

Having been backwards and forwards to May's store a few times, coupled with more than a few emails back and forth, I can assure you that May stays calm at all times (even when I was panicking) and makes sure that everything about your wedding dress experience is smooth sailing. Ginger and Poppy is an absolute treasure. May the owner does everything by appointment so from the moment we arrived she gave us her undivided attention. She is incredibly knowledgable and helped us select the perfect wedding dress for my daughter.

I had the best experience dress shopping at Ginger and Poppy. May, the owner, could not have been more accommodating, she is very laid back and makes you feel so at ease in her beautiful shop. The collections are stunning, I would highly recommend any future brides to make an appointment.

The Owner is so rude! I cant believe how she treated me and my friend when we walked into her shop. My friend is getting married this December so she and I have been checking out different boutiques and couture places all week. Some shops are by appointed and some are not. 1st, her place was difficult to find because it is in a run down building where you wouldn't expect there to be a quality wedding dress business. When we finally found her shop, theres a mini seating area (with no reception) immediately leading to a large entrance to the main shop that has about 20 dresses on display. My friend and I of course walked straight into the main dress area to check the type of dresses they had on display. A client was seated in this main area and said that the owner would come out to help us soon. 2 minutes into browsing the dresses, the owner came out in an angry and rude manner and was almost shouting at us and telling us to get out. Yes. She told us to get out! She said her shop was only by appointment and we were not allowed to be in her shop. Her demeanor was extremely condescending and rude! All the other shops we visited that were by appointment and dresses starting at AED 20k welcomed us in with care and attention, sat us down to show us their catalog and scheduled an appointment for us to return. We were shocked by the treatment of Ginger & Poppy Bridal. I would recommend any other bridal shop than this one. The building smells and is falling apart, theres limited dresses, and would you really want a dress made by the energy of this rude and angry woman!? !

When I first met May, I immediately felt comfortable. It was as if I was about to try on dresses in front of a close friend. She made me feel at ease in the fitting room and in front of my family (the tough critics!) The pieces she has curated for her shop are beautiful, simple, well-made and perfect for any down-to-earth bride. It was so hard to pick a dress here, but after my second consultation, I found the right one. If you’re looking to shop local for your wedding dress: either for the big day, rehearsal dinner, or engagement party, this is the place to go.
