Golden Fork Freshfood Restaurant Al Barsha

First of all the one waiter take my order wrong and then when I asked the ingredients are not same why? He didn't admit and he answered me back they are not providing the mashed potatoes usually and I stupid to accept that answer? And he said he will go and check to the kitchen and he bring the mashed potato so what's the meaning of they didn't serve and not providing till the end I'm really not happy for paying that salmon grilled for 70 AED.

Went to Golden Fork Al Barsha to have a good dinner. So much expectations cause we tried Golden Fork in Al Ain and we liked it. We ordered the KABAYAN boodle fight and the Bilao meal. Food is just fine, nothing special. It is just OKAY. The frustrating part is that they served ice tea like literally NO TASTE (colored water with ice). Well they changed it, little sweet After that, we asked for another cups of rice (we have unlimited), another frustrating thing is that the rice is still UNCOOKED. CRUNCHY RICE IT IS. We have waited and waited then they served basmati rice which 2 of us don't eat. Lost my appetite and talked to the manager just to express my frustration but was not able to eat anymore. SAYANG UNLI RICE

It was my first time to experience on golden fork disaster food.with crab disaster old and smelly and also sea food old and recipe of the cajum was full of honey bad experience which didn't expected with my family. Branch golden fork Barsha from metro mashreq bank.

Veryyyyy bad highly not recommended.

The worst meal I’ve ever had.
The shrimp were not fresh at least five days old. The taste was awful. The fish is frozen and tasteless. Last time to visit this place. I don’t advise anyone to eat there. Waste of money. 8

Love that place. Economy price, fresh food, always crowded but have seating still, try the grill with rice.

We visited this branch first day of Eid, and we were surprised by the huge increase of prices! Almost 15 dhs increase at once for one dish which’s actually too much but the food quality is still the same, i like their fish and ships. And they take Fazaa discount which was helpful to increase the stars number for them! Also they gave free drink on Eid, it was nice
But overall, I believe that service before was much better. Appreciation to the staff efforts tho.

MARY from AFRICA saw me struggling and rushed to help with pushing my mom's wheelchair with the imperfections of the disabled accessibility ramp outside. She was constantly watching over us. Pure and gentle soul. Ena, another sweet soul from Philippines and OMF Baha' from Syria. Made sure we get the best treatment and also helped us on the way out with lifting mom's wheelchair chair. Besides the great service the food was as expected with a low budget but ok and the restaurant was modest but in a not bad place in ascot hotel trade center SZR great location. Will come again alone without mom to try their mixed grills as its not only Chinese food. Lots of Love to the wonderful staff (my review is the least thing I can do to thank them considering the fact that I had zero cash on me). Thank you.

Worst service from Golden Fork Al Barsha Branch. Ordered food at 7: 43 but haven’t received. Called the restaurant many times but no updates. Bad service. Not recommended to order from this restaurant again. I will definitely spread the words to my friends.

Twice i got wrong soup. At the end I came for soup and didn't get it. Portion became smaller and prices much higher. Service became very pour. Left hungry and angry. My last visit unfortunately.

My family and I had some 'Desi' Chinese. The food was great, suggestions by the attendant were great and the manager came and asked how the food and experience was. Accessible opppsite tte Mashreq Metro station. Recommend!

Unfortunately Online orders are NOT fulfilled no mater through which pickup/delivery service is mentioned.
Talabat even it's listed the do not take orders, Zomato doesn't work as well and RadYes the same. Very disappointed

Bad service no a/c and the take so long to bring the food and there are no customers to take that long

I live in Al barsha, near to golden fork restaurant. On 29th Oct evening I visited the restaurant, since the restaurant outlook was great, I ordered egg fried rice, it was the worst egg fried rice I ever had in my life. They prepared plain white rice and may be mixed with 2 egg (egg was not even fried separately) since I asked them make it spicy, they copped some row green chilly and added (not even fried) no more ingredients was added to that. I am totally disappointed and I will never ever visit the restaurant again. Photo is attached for proof. Dear manager of restaurant! Please advice your chef to watch youtobe and prepare dish if he doesn't know to make. Very very bad.

Just want to share my personal experience with the restaurant:

The Staffs: over all they are kind and nice

The Food:
The portion is good
I can tell that the food is not fresh and
I was served with a rice that was not freshly prepared, From the way it smelled you will know that it was from last night rice that they just reheated.

The utensils: The plate has dust and it’s black color, I don’t know why and how it get that dirty. I showed it to one of their waiter and he can’t even say a single word.
(I really wished I brought my phone with me) to show some photos.
Because I’m just staying near to this place so I have a habit of not bringing my phone.

Overall: It’s disappointing, I really hope they can improve this Al Barsha branch.

We were driving past this place today morning when we saw that they were having buffet breakfast. So we thought of giving it a try. It’s priced at AED35/- per adult and AED 20/- per child above 4yrs.

The spread is continental. From what I tried, the sausages, nuggets and baked beans seem to be the pre-packaged ones, so there’s nothing much to comment on them. Indian veg.curry, Pasta and sweet oatmeal were good. The Indian Paratha, pancake and toast were just average. Baked beans was very salty.

There’s a counter for coffee, tea, juices and breakfast cereals. There’s also a live station where one can get eggs prepped as per their choice. I chose an omelette with veggies and no cheese. It was really good.

The place is spacious and staff are pleasant. The food can be improved on taste-wise.

The spring roll looked n tasted like it was straight out of a frozen pack. It was basically a deep fried chicken sausage. French fries that came along with the spring rolls were cold, soggy and soaked with oil.
The egg fried rice was definately the worst ive ever had in my life.
The beef n brocolli sauce was decent, but the beef wasnt cooked all the way through. It was extremely chewy.

Worst company ever i pet that the managerial level are not human at all, who ever want to apply there don't, they dont respect people no salaries on time, the labor turn over there very high like they buy slaves not human whoever think, its highly not recommended at all

This place is better and bigger than their previous one but the food and service are the same. Ordered the sotanghon guisado (average), asado siopao (too sweet) and chicken spring rolls (more Indian taste than Chinese). I would back but would not go out of my way to do so.

The menu favors heavily towards Asian seafood and chicken dishes (mostly Filipino, Chinese and Indian). I had a combo plate and a fresh spring roll. The combo plate of two dishes (fried calamari and chicken) was so-so but filling enough. However, I particularly liked the fresh spring roll, a Filipino dish which is made of lightly stir fried vegetables in a crepe-like wrap. The vegetables were crisp and seasoned lightly.

Ordered from the goldenfork.ae website and they directed my order to this branch. Waited over an hour and a half for my meal. The fries were not there. I called them and told them the fries were missing. After waiting on the line, he told me that “they said they put the fries”. After being accused of lying, he continues to say “what do you want me to do. ” I told him to send the missing fries and he says there is “no delivery boy” and that next time I order, he’ll put “extra” fries. Ever since this branch was bought by a new owner, their quality and service has dropped. Such a shame since this is my favourite restaurant since I was a child.

Good eatery for Sea Food lovers! I had the signature sea food soup, prawns fry, breads, lobster rice! Over all the food was good but found the seasoning less though!

Always good food and never changed the recipe. However this time I got the Hamoor but it was not Hamoor.it was another type of fish full of bones

Food is not good ordered spaghetti but it doesn't look a spaghetti.it look more tom yum even the taste is horrible.i hope they know what they are cooking

Bad customer service. Salmon are not good. Rice are not good too (especially the garlic rice), Shrimps are not fresh. Only the Behon are good. Tortang talong which is very basic in the Philippine Cuisine are not cook the way it should be.

My favorite place to eat in Al Barsha. Why 5 stars? Pros and Cons below:

Pros:
* Yummy and filling dishes
* Affordable
* Crispy squid heads (Best seller! We always had to wait for 10: 30 pm for them to cook, or call in early to reserve, that's how good it is!)
* Inihaw na manok (Grilled chicken)
* Filipino foods are offered too (Try tinola and sinigang na hipon)
* Attentive and friendly staff
* Clean place
* Love the idea when they give a hot hand towel before and after meals
* Very fast wifi

Cons:
* Washroom is small, and they can do better in keeping it clean

كل زيارة لدبي لازم ناكل مرة او مرتين فيه عندهم طبق البحريات المشكل وشوربة البحريات جنان لكن المشويات سيئة جدا جدا رجعنا الطبق مثل ماهو للاسف ولا عمل لنا خصم من المبلغ للعوائل والافراد خيار ممتاز

The Ice tea here is one of the best i have ever had!

Long time restaurant in UAE with many branches in Dubai, AD and Sharjah, the minu has a big variety of Asian food, Thai, Chinease, Indian and Filipino, with very resonable prices

It was my favorite restaurant lust from 2007 but I hate it now bcs 1st time I found hair from my Tom yum soup then I ask them change with other one they brink creamy sea soup it was onion smeal and I ask to fry fish but not until fish become like wood I was hungry but I was not happy with food now I stop to go Golden fork I went Golden fork Dubai sharaf DG branch

Very poor service I ordered a cream soup it came just like water.
I also ordered fried hamour fillet and came grilled then they got me almost fried fillet mostly raw.
