Tried the foods at Zahia Mall's branch. Services was poor and the iranian food is not up to the par. The bbq meat was not cooked well and has a strong smell. Hummus was not fresh and there was no yogurt served with the rice. The barley soup was alright. Overall foods was average and slow arrogant services.
Although we ordered like 4 main Dishes, No yougert was servied, No ash/ soup was served. Everything is additional price! I have never been to any Iranian Resturant this way!? Even Shabistan which is considered one of the Top ones (now I regret Not going there instead) Where you get yougert with each dish, soup for everyone And Complementary Tea with apraxia last Persian buiscits at the end of your meal.
Which I asked the waiter Shen said only in the other branch!
The bamya (okra) stew had a very strong taste of meat which wasn’t pleasant.
Waiters were Not friendly.
Also I didn’t like the small fish tanks filled with fish, not enough space for them to move around.
Outstanding food. The quality of these kababs was truly next level. The yoghurt lamb and chicken kababs were truly exceptional. Excellent service and friendly wait staff. The decor is a bit on the touristy side and the music is a more Muzak but ignore them and enjoy the food. We will be back.
Visited on a friday night pretty late around 10 30pm, restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Very calm and nice ambiance soft music playing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great, did not expect it to taste really good. I got the chelo kabab plate as I was just one person it was delicious melted in mouth perfect flavour and fresh (no smell). Over all loved everything about it will definitely visit again.
I loveddddd the Qorme sabzi inside this restaurant, it was the best, not greasy and quality of food was very good and service was really god but the design and atmosphere inside was a little bit old. But even the mirza ghasemi tasted so delicious
AMAZING service DELICIOUS food MARVELLOUS location FANTASTIC ambience
Everything is just 1000000% Everyone is working well together as a team to ensure a great experience. They gave extra bread and feta cheese
Water is a bit small (750ml) for large. I am used to it being at least 1L
But otherwise. Loved the place. Definitely will come over again and again.
There is also valet. Man is light hearted.
I don’t know how to describe it enough. But everything is just at the top.
They also speak Persian (some, obviously)
Plus, it is a good place to do birthday. They put a birthday song and the whole team prepares to give a nice celebration. They put the cake (you bring yourself, I think) on a gold tray and deliver the cake.
Very authentic food, spacious place and best bread ever in Dubai. Staffs are professional. It’s by far one a best Iranian restaurant that provide homemade taste Iranian foods Special thanks to Mr. Masoud that always is available for takeout services in the best way
Neat and clean place. Love the wall treatment upstairs. Decent live music. Tried the buffet. Huge variety and good taste. I wan happy with the experience.
One of the best authentic and prestigious family Iranian restaurants in Dubai. Home cooked food feel, family oriented or just dine alone for a good meal.
Photo shows food for one and sooo much waist! This needs to be reduce feel guilty to order food from you! Main plate is heavy thick plastic totally waisted! Please save the planet and reduce waist! Food is super delicious! Pity.
Love this place for Iranian food! Delicious, flavorful and fresh food, ALWAYS. They never disappoint and their food service and quality never ever changed Their portions are huge and the prices are so reasonable for such portions Absolutely loved the ghormeh sabzi it was perfect The chillo kebab was wonderful
Friendly staff very respectful.food quality was not like before. I got Koobideh and I got it in very simple plate. Abshar is very famous restaurant I was expecting more from a famous restaurant in Jumeirah.french fries wasnt perfect.
Not only the food and the waiters were friendly and wonderful, the Architecutre design of the restaurant was especially the first thing that caught my attention! Once you reach the outside door to enter the restaurant, it feels like you’re entering a castle full of ancient stories, in which food is the theme of the restaurant.
I thank my friends for inviting me there! It was really great! ️️️
The food was great and the service was excellent. Joojeh masti is now my new favorite dish. Before trying Abshar's joojeh masti I never liked chicken bbq but this one changed my mind. I would definitely recommend it.
In my experience, their deliveries are also reliable and on time.
We had invited guests the last time we went to Abshar and they all loved the food too. Special thanks to Mr. Yousefi for being so attentive and making sure everything was perfect.
I had ordered the steak and kebab dish. The steak was very tender, the kebab was excellent. I'm not sure what the dish was called, as I'm not the one who ordered it, but I think it had the name "sultan" in it.
This place used to be good but the quality has unfortunately suffered significantly. Every single item we ordered was tasteless. The kashk-e-badenjan was decent though.
This was an amazing Iranian restaurant, but No more! The food quality is very bad recently, I hope the management will help this place to not to loose all they costumers!
The interiors here tries to capture the time past of Iranian glamour. The restaurant is simply stunning, with large inviting reception area, where stunning chandeliers inviting you, the tiled floors are grand. The place is so big, you can easily sit over 300 people. They take you back in time.
Once we sat, we started to go through the menu and the host was kind enough to help us through it. We ordered the strawberry and Mango juice. Loved it, no sweet was added, the natural flavours were intact, we just asked for more ice. We ordered their Abshar special salad, which has hommous, tabouleh, mutable. This was served with a traditional bread perfect thick, crisp and topped with sesame seed. Excellent, flavours were fantastic. This was good enough for 3 people, great portion size
We ordered their mix grills for the mains, this came filled with some awesome varieties of meat, kababs, and two varieties of chicken, served with vegies, french fries and 3 types of rice. The meat was tender, you can bite and enjoy the softness of the meat, the marination has soaked the flavours well. This again was good enough for 4 people.
Having a heavy meal and enjoying it, we wanted to get some Tea, so they served us their special chai, and they brought is 4 different types of sweet that goes with the tea, The service is was excellent, our host took good care of us. Abshar is one place that you need to come to enjoy authentic Persian cuisine,
Abshar Iranian Restaurant-Dubai; A truly Persian Affair. You’d love the ambience, set in the older times, the glorious chandelier & guests dining room decorated with fresh flowers for each table. Beautiful! Now the food, menu is authentically Persian so you’d find all traditional dishes like Dizi, Tachin, Chelo Kebab, Iskander Kebab, so on and so forth. We started with some Bademjan, followed by Aoush, and then devoured some kebabs that came with a side order of saffron rice!
Everything was delicious & lastly the tea service had my heart, beautifully served in a teapot with condiments & sweets. Loved the place, it has a soul that calls out to you. Can’t wait to be back.
When it comes to authentic Iranian cuisine, Abshar will be named among the prestigious list. I would say very delicious kebabs with truly dedicated staff and family sitting makes it a perfect place for the family to enjoy a handsome dinner.
Exotic in everyway! Authentic Persian food at very reasonable price. Great ambience.hygiene 10 on 10, food, serving, quantity. 10 on 10. Breads are yumm. Will surely come back.
Brilliant Iran restaurant, great atmosphere, fantastic food at affordable prices. We ate full for 500dhs for a company of 5 grown people. Will definitely come back.
Service is pathetic. I placed an order for 3 ghormeh sabzis and 1 fasenjan but they sent me 4 other stews without calling and asking me beforehand.
When I called to tell them that the order was wrong, the guy told me that the stews I ordered were finished so they sent me these instead.
You should have called and given me the option to cancel the order or ask whether I would be okay with the alternatives. You cannot just assume that I would be.
Abshar located at umm suqeim is one of the spacious and luxurious iranian restaurants in town and is well known for their persian kebabs.
We tried their chelo kabab kubideh (minced lamb & veal), chelo kabab shishlik (lamb chops) and joojeh masti (yogurt marinated chicken chunks). Loved their kababs, especially chelo kabab kubideh and joojeh masti. They were so juicy and delicious.kababs came with aromatic rice and butter. They also served us fresh breads and greens. We ended our dinner on a sweet note with their traditional iranian falooda.
A friend of mine took me there last week and I was pleasantly surprised. The kebabs were excellent and very juicy and tender.the service is very good, the restaurant setting is very good and the private parking with Mr. Moustache as the valet is very good. When you go there you'll know what i'm talking about.
I strongly recommend this restaurant.the soup Ash Rishteh was yummy, the appetizer kashk badinjan was tasty.the main course Kabab Sultani abd Khorosh Sabzi as usuall very tasty. 5 stars service and food
Good Persian food Staff are nice Atmosphere nice Price very reasonable Parking available Sweets are nice Several times I visited this restaurant and they offer good quality Five stars from me
One of the best Iranian restaurants out there (the services are good the food was excellent). However it is a little bit expensive. And i don't know why. It isn't like they are doing anything special
The best and genuine taste of the Iranian foods, very complete menu, the best Sangak bread in Dubai serves with their food, if you want to try the original Iranian food, you need to visit Grand Abshar
The place was beautiful and the decoration is amazing. The food was so yummy and delicious. Parking is available and the staff are very polite and friendly. I would definitely go to this restaurant again. They also have a small shop for Iranian sweets and nuts. I advise dinners to have a look and taste their sweets.
I don't think this place deserves even one star. After chanhing managment and ownership that happened while ago, quality of their dishes has been dropped dramatically. Staff are not the same and I am sure the kitchen staff are not fully aware of preparing Persian cuisines, for indtance lamb chops (shish leek) tastes nothing like original Persian lamb chops (seems like has been marinated with turmeric because of yellow color) and looke below picture after ordering lamb chops medium cooked, so on and so fort for other dishes.
A wonderful taste of Persia in Dubai. If you visit then you definitely must visit this amazing place. Crazy amazing food, excellent Ambience, friendly and welcoming staff.
This restaurant has a very good servive and also delicious food, whatever you’re going to order for main course, order Tahdig e Ghormesabzi as an aptetizer, it’s wonderfull, delicious, they also bake the Sangak bread at the restaurant and if you want you can buy extra for tale away. Recommended
Good Iranian food, they also deliver. Lamb chops are excellent, so is chelo kebab. Fresh bread and yummy juices. One of the best Persian restaurants in Dubai.
To begin this review please note that this restaurant has undergone few ownership changes hence the name changed few times to Current name as of July 2017 is GRAND ABSHAR. The cuisine and the menu is still the same according to the staff.
The place is nicely decorated and cozy. Clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere. Helpful and nice staff. Service is very good and good is excellent. A good variety of the Persian table and is very tasty. The falodeh is a must try (dessert).
I visited the restaurant on 31 march and i noticed that they re use the basket bread from one customer to another. I saw the waiter taking the baskets that were already used by some clients to the baker and i saw the baker adding some new breads on the old ones. I told to the manager in charge that this is inappropriate and told him that if municipality would be aware then the restaurant will have an issue. I felt he was indifferent and didnt give much attention. I was really upset and didnt like the way he acted nor his reaction. He didnt even apologize or tried to make it up.
That is really not hygiene to eat the same bread by previous clients. We paid per person 115 aed and we never argued about the price, why would we share the same basket bread with other customers. I will report the issue to the municipality to take severe action. The restaurant management should be penalized for such an incident.
