One of the best brunches, variety of choices for food and drinks, live food stations and very friendly stuff

We had a great and classic British themed brunch to celebrate a friend's 50th. Our waiter never let the tide go out, and the food was very good too.

Absolutely lovely Saturday brunch - team and especially the head chef really looked after us. We were able to use the pool/beach facilities after which was welcomed by the family.

Went to have dinner in this restaurant, maybe our expectations were too high, but I didn't enjoy it. The food was pretty average, dry meat, no beef, no seafood (only mussels), not much choice for a buffet restaurant. Also, the price is not cheap at all, for such expensive restaurant they really should improve their food. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

I come to know about the hotel asian theme night, which is done in GBR restaurant and it was my first visit to the place.the buffet was very generous and eye catching, the flavours of the foods was delicious and tasty especially the sushi, tum yum soup and the hot grills and there i get to meet the chefs Shuaib, Sravin and Indra who were very kind and friendly and on top of them Chef Mostafa Al Ogdeh who ensured that i experience the best of my visit.the place is highly recommended to experience the best hospitality and services.

Excellent brunch, food is fresh and there are lots of different options. Rubel and Abhi offered fantastic service—very friendly and prompt.

The Hostess and Manager at breakfast didn’t provide my family and I with the best experience or service when we just left waiting on the side for a table while other families arrived after us and were seated! Then when I asked to provide a card to provide a review I was rudely ignored. The food was good on the bright side! Let’s see what happens tomorrow!

It's a bang for your buck brunch. Amazing selection of delicious British fares, and lots of booze. They even have freshly cooked scallops and jumbo prawns. Almost every dish was amazing, they can improve their Chinese dimsum though and maybe up the ante on the desserts. But I'll come back for the prime rib, the atmosphere, the drinks anytime.

I went for brunch to celebrate my birthday. For those familiar with brunch in Dubai, it was pretty standard fare, but the reason it stood out for me was the music. Full credit to the DJ.it was an excellent playlist, and it made the whole experience for me. Well worth a visit just for that.

Rubel and Christin were very friendly, professional and give an all round great service.

Delicious food, absolutely every dish we tried from grill, British corner and Asian! Stuff is very attentive and takes care of you all the time. It’s 100% self service brunch, no cues as barmen are all fast and put extra shot if requested.
Special regards to Aliya and Koushik for delicious passion fruit mojito and outstanding professional service & finding us the comfy place to sit.
It is more family brunch but in case music changes to more energetic it could be a perfect spot for party brunch.

Ginormous said they don't serve ala card orders on dinner because chef is busy with preparing buffet. No sense its very commercial and not meeting 5 starts standards of service. What if someone does not want buffet? That person is not welcome to this restaurant

I’ve had a really great time, at the Dukes Palm Hotel, especially eating at the breakfast lounge GBR. Every morning my daughter and I go there the staff are absolutely wonderful especially Koushik who has such a beautiful personality and always wants to help. He looked after me every morning and it was a pleasure meeting him. The food is really nice as well the place has a high standard of hygiene. Once again the staff are all amazing

This hotel is has an exceptional breakfast service the staff are best in class.specially Dilini was so friendly and made sure had everything we needed and makes the best coffee

This is our 9th time staying at this hotel. We love this hotel for the beach, wonderful infinity pool and Great British Restaurant. And we love people who make our holidays very happy. Akbar is the best waiter He takes care of us every morning. And he makes the best strong black tea with hot milk for my husband️ We met Akbar last year and are very happy that he is here now. Many thanks to Akbar️ We wish him all the best!

Arjun is a very nice and caring waitress. You can order a bottle of wine and reserve it for later as well

This restaurant is amazing. My friends and I have been here many times. Each time we ate different dishes and every dish great taste The taste is amazing. It is a bit expensive but wonderful. 4 mths ago I reviewed the place with full of dissatisfaction but now THANK YOU for IMPROVEMENT
Again visited the place as noticed the changes there. Yes, management changed and huge differences than before:
now dinner buffet cost 120AED per person;
not about cost reduction, various of food sections and it is tastie;
music is more lounge music which you can relax and enjoy with your food;
waiters are very respectful and attentive

Below one was my previous review with dissatisfaction but now all gone everything perfect

(Open buffet dinner in GBR: waiter was attending, food is ok, available outdoor & indoor dining area
but, MASK my friendly advise: while visiting this restaurant keep extra mask in your pocket/bag, because if you lost/mask felt down/forgot or some reason need mask, they DON'T provide it. While all hotels, restaurants, any entrances do, one of the best location don't. Manager will ask your mask and if you request one he does say: "We don't have mask, without mask stay on your table" (very rude) I got my husband's mask and visited the food station.
MUSIC overloud, not relaxing at all, while having dinner in hotel' restaurant/lounge it should be more chilling music instead loudly. (Our resident friends also said same thing loud music annoying them while they are on the garden) We requested it to waiter and yes, they did volume lower, Thank you.

Excellent service and fresh, tasty food served with a smile. All staff are extremely polite and helpful.

The breakfast buffet is one of the best i have encountered. Everything is covered for all nationalities from cereals and fruit, flavoured yoghurt to hot. Eggs cooked the way you like them, the bacon (turkey or beef) cooked to order, all done with chefs saying good morning and a smile. They also do great crepes, waffles and pancakes with flavoured maple syrups. The floor staff are so polite and attentive but not intrusive with prompt coffee and tea service. The GBR resturant is a great way to start your day when in Dubi.

Toller Service Mit Halbpension bekommt man das Buffet umsonst, die Getränke muss man wie überall üblich bezahlen, Cola circa 7 Euro Bier 12, Flasche Wasser 6. Es gibt abwechselnde Themenabende Wie italienisch oder arabisch. Sehr schönes Salatbuffet und Nachtischauswahl, alles feinste Qualität. Zum Frühstücksbuffet gibt es sogar frische Crepes! Was es auch nicht überall gibt. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung zum Frühstück und abends! Mittags habe ich es nie probiert sollte aber genauso gut sein.
