Great place to learn photography, from basics to advance level. The workshops have a good mix between theory and practice. The staff and instructors are available to answer questions and guide you through the process.

Took the beginner’s photography course and really enjoyed it! I highly recommend it to anyone that’s interested in learning how to properly use their cameras.

Amateurs. Have left 3 films to be developped, notified that will be traveling for four weeks and arrived to see that my films were destroyed as they only keep the films for two weeks. They also develop colour films in house (very poor quality) and they ship b&w to Spain (fantastic) but you cam do it yourself by reaching out to Camancita. Staff working here are less then knowledgeable and they just think film 35mm is coooooooool (whilst beimg born in the 00s) - joke

It is really an amazing workshop which was photography level 1 and with the best teacher Laura, she has the good way to explain the information I love her way in the teaching ️… thank you for everything

I was a bit nervous about attending Photography Level 1 because I started with very little photography knowledge.but our instructor Laura taught us in a simple, structured way that was a combination of classroom learning and hands on practice. By the end of the day I was comfortable in using 2 different semi manual settings on the camera. I am super motivated and excited to practice and continue onto level 2! Thank you to Laura and GPP team for this engaging workshop!

Attended the Level 1 Photography and the workshop was great. I learned a lot about basic camera handling and the functions in it. Our instructor Laura was amazing. Very attentive and patient with the participants.

GPP workshop was recommended by my best buddy, and it was worth it. I attended the Level 1 Photography workshop and learned many important aspects which can be used while Still or motion photography. Our trainer for the workshop was Laura, she was amazing. Answered all the queries, even the silliest ones. I would surely recommend this workshop if you want to learn about basic Camera handling and how to use the functions of your camera. It is useful workshop even if photography is your hobby and don’t want to take it up as profession. Looking forward to attend the next level workshop soon.

I attended a photo walk with GPP and it was really fun and I learned some useful tips about night photography and some interesting history of old neighborhoods in Dubai

I’ve had many films developed at Gulf Photo Plus and they are the absolute best! It’s a seamless process -and very well priced. The quality of the photos that I get back are also great, and they also share feedback on how to improve your photography whether it’s the play on light, or angles! Highly recommend it.

Amazing photo books, the exhibition hall is gorgeous and the staff is some of the friendliest humans I've know. If you're a photographer, you can not miss visiting them

GPP was recommended to me by a friend who is a photojournalist. She's worked with them several times and trusts them with her work, so I decided to check it out myself. I absolutely adore GPP, they are so knowledgeable and welcoming. I've developed film with them multiple times and have never been disappointed. They have such a good variety of film, and have stunning gallery expositions. Truly a hidden gem.

A lovely place and equally lovely staff. Not only do they sell disposable cameras and help with processing the photos, they have a wonderful gallery that features beautiful and meaningful pieces of photography that collectively tell a story. I’ve seen wonderful works up on their walls that really push the boundaries of “society”. A gorgeous place for everything you need!

As a photographer based in the UAE, Gulf Photo Plus has been an essential center for me. Not only do they offer the selection of film of my dreams, but their developing service is the best in the region. Their photobooks and exhibitions are a constant source of inspiration to me, and I really appreciate how they uplift and support photographers from the region, and keep me posted on impactful and noteworthy works. They also have an incredibly sweet team that is always helpful. I've discovered some of my favorite photographers from GPP, and created some of my favorite content because of their support. It is truly the center for photography in the Gulf region.

Coming from Europe and exploring the breathtaking city of Dubai for the first time, I found my self shooting photographs like a son of a gun! Soon I was running out of 35 mm film rolls, and Gulf Photo Plus saved my journey. Before going there, I contacted them per email, had the chance to talk to Ben, and the quality of his customer service was impeccable!

Located in a warehouse area not far from the Burj al Arab, Gulf Photo Plus has some interesting art installations and photo exhibitions that we unfortunately did not have time to visit, but they offer a wide collection of films rolls. It goes without saying that the rolls are perfectly stored in a fridge and for the record I got myself a couple of rolls of both Portra 400 and 800. Gulf Photo Plus and Ben were a precious help! Thanks for existing.

Also, the warehouse area has some reminiscence of Europe. Some fancy rusty vintage cars are decorating the place, and the little cinema might be good to explore for arabic movies enthusiasts. At the time they were promoting the 7th edition of the “Reel Palestine Film Festival”. And you can definitely grab a coffee somewhere at the corner. It is probably best to get there by cab. Prices are affordable, we were coming from the Marina and a ride might cost you somewhere between 50 and 70DH (12 and 17euros respectively).

Probably (if not definitely) the most well-priced photo printing studio in Dubai in terms of value for money. I am unbelievably happy with how my prints turned out. A place run by enthusiastic individuals who know their stuff. Appreciate the effort they put in organizing events, exhibitions, screenings and even a community flea market. Basically keeping the photo community alive. Also, my go to place for buying and developing/scanning film (through carmencita).

I really like what they’re doing, the place, the exhibits, the books and my favorite is that they are selling film rolls in a really good price! Because I am really into film photography so that’s why is really a great place for me! All in one place!

Great place to learn photography. Their instructors are very friendly and have lots of experience. They also offer a great service in printing - we got our wedding photos done there, and we were really pleased with the quality of the prints.

There’s no enough words to describe GPP and the team behind it. If you’re a photographer in Dubai this has to be your go-to place whether it’s for printing/film equipments or photography classes and workshops.

I'm an amateur photographer, and I was quite keen on printing some of my pictures as part of our home decoration process. I was pondering over whom to go to as I came across GPP. I got in touch with Yulia, and it has been such a wonderful journey since. Yulia and Edgar have been extremely patient and accommodating throughout, and I can't thank them enough. I am delighted with my prints and even managed to get my hands on a point and shootfilm camera that I'm playing around with now. Yulia has been extremely helpful in helping me understand about the various films and which ones to pick as an amateur. I'll recommend GPP to anyone without any thought, more so if you're amateur photographer like me wanting to learn and explore more. They are so helpful!

Had a large panoramic print done at Gulf Photo Plus. The whole process was great and the final print looks fantastic.

I’m so grateful for being part of the GPP community. From attending exhibitions, to participating in workshops and sometimes being given the opportunity to lead some of the unseen trails has cemented me so much in Dubai. I first met the team years ago - in 2014 to organize workshops and experiences around discovering Sharjah- and the alignment and synergy was a wonderful thing. The folks at GPP care so much about the community, the UAE and honing people’s skill sets to go out, discover, capture and tell stories. I completed photography 1 and 2 with Caleb and have not looked back. As an aspiring food and street photographer, I feel so empowered knowing that I can produce content independently that comes as close as possible - professionally- to the stories I’m trying to tell. Whether you decide to take a workshop, attend a photo walk or an exhibition - just remember that you’ll be in the hands of people who have such a depth and understanding towards photography, both critically and passionately.

A not-so-hidden gem of Dubai to satisfy all you photography needs. You can get film, print images, take classes, see exhibitions and I love their slidefests and photo-based discussions. There are a rare institution that speaks to the professional and the novice with the same passion for increasing knowledge and skills.

One of the most difficult things for a film photographer in the middle east in this day and age is being able to source your film. Before I would need to ship it from halfway around the world thru multiple steps and not mentioning the "other" headaches. "no we don't accept credit cards from the middle east" "we don't ship to Saudi" so on and so forth.

NOW, since discovering Gulf Photo Plus. I don't have to worry about any of that anymore.

I'm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, GPP is in the UAE, for all practical purposes, they are just next door! Customer service is friendly and helpful, Even the social media team on IG was quite patient to answer my first contact questions!

Great place for anything photography related in Dubai, including film photography - good stock of films and option to drop off your rolls for developing. They offer lots of photography courses of all levels and also printing services. The shop serves as a small gallery displaying work of mainly local artists which is super cool!

One of my favorite art & culture spaces in Dubai. Always an interesting exhibition on show and I end up spending ages browsing their selection of photobooks. Friendly team and one day I will do one of their photowalks for sure.

I attended a workshop at Gulf Photo Plus and it was excellent. The teacher was very good in explaining the technical aspects of photoshooting and I have learnt a lot in such a short time. Definitely recommend this class and they also have other workshops for studio photography, food, fashion.

I took their beginner photography course and loved it! Just right - not too technical but enough to get me started taking better pictures. Great atmosphere and they have fantastic teachers who are friendly and very good at what they do. And they are in Alserkal Avenue so it is a creative environment. Definitely going back for more. And they have excellent photography exhibitions too that are super inspiring and interesting.

A great place to get large prints made. Of course the Annual photo week is a must. They are well organised and very friendly/helpful staff.
