One of the best hotels I stayed in, i twas my second time with them, the only thing that they was doing renovation in the park and it was kinda noisy otherwise everything is wonderful

I had no complaints in 10 days. The equipment of the room is excellent (iron and stand, room scale, hairdryer, coffee maker + coffee + sugar, toothbrush, body lotion, shampoo, hair conditioner. Daily cleaning, towel, bed linen change. You can't even list them all. Kind staff. Beautiful beach, garden. Close to everything.yes, we reached three within half an hour. We loved it. Recommend. Recommend. Recommend.

In a nutshell: avoid except if you insist on being on the beach and don’t mind loud music most evenings, and aren’t too fussed about service and food quality.

The pros: location right on the beach, ideal if you want to spend time on the beach and enjoy partying, to be avoided otherwise. Nice view on the ocean if your room is located on that side. Very good service and good food in the executive lounge on the 25th floor, where we already felt welcome by the staff, much better than in the other restaurants of the hotel, in particular the main buffet restaurant. Despite some time irregular service times, housekeepers Henri and Ronel made sure that our room was always cleaned to our satisfaction.

The cons: location, except as indicated above, is to be avoided if you intend to frequently leave the the hotel. It is at the end of an alley which is very difficult to reach at most time, due to the transit system in Dubai marina making it mandatory to make a long detour before you can actually reach the hotel. Same applies when you leave the hotel and often get stuck in traffic to manage to get through the two first road crossings coming out of 300 meters from the hotel, it can easily take 20 minutes on a busy night. The final aspect to be taken into account in terms of location is the fact that hotel is located right behind various beach clubs blasting music most weekends and afternoons, making it hard to rest if that is what you want to do.
Generally the standards of the hotel are not those of a five star establishment. When visiting other hotels in the neighborhood, we could see a noticeable difference in terms of general apparence and maintenance of the hotel. You can refer for example to the pictures showing the paint falling from the wall on the outside balconies. It seems as if the hotel has embarked upon a significant investment in refurbishing some areas, but it is best to be avoided until such time it has been completed, as in addition to the noise from the beach, you also have the noise from the construction works.
Again when comparing the restaurants of the hotel with the restaurants of other hotels in the neighborhood (Dubai marina has multiple hotels within a 500 meters radius), the quality of the restaurants of the Habtoor grand were one step lower. The hotel main restaurant (AL DHIYAFA GRAND KITCHEN) is extremely crowded at breakfast and offers mediocre food. I will do a separate review.
Last but not least, service levels at concierge and main reception were low and sometimes unacceptable. Let me give you two examples. Despite having left a credit card authorization for extras upon check-in, I was asked to pay separately to send a document by DHL. Hotel staff insisted to have a different payment made only for that shipment. Besides this inconvenience, the process was unnecessarily complicated, requiring me to get back and forth between concierge desk and reception desk, and requiring again my presence at the time of pickup. The other example relates to the day of departure. Since I had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night, I thought better to settle all extras earlier in the evening. I used a different credit card than the card given at check-in. Everything was settled and I was given a receipt, and requested to stop by reception to hand over my key cards when exiting, so that they knew that I had left the hotel. What should have been a mere formality became an annoyance, as the check in staff insisted that I had to pay for my extras, that I had only made a deposit. I insisted that I had already paid, but somehow there was no record of my payment in their system. It is only after I had to dig out the receipt from my bags that they accepted they had made a mistake. We are very very far from the standard of service acceptable for a 5 star hotel.

A great Horel 5 stars all worth it. From the first minute to the end there is a warm atmosphere in which you feel very comfortable. The only catch was the construction site in the hotel complex. Dubai is a lively city where life is raging and therefore a lot of work has to be done to change things. The service is very important here, which we really enjoyed. From reception to breakfast, lunch and dinner, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food was explained and if you had a special request it was promptly fulfilled. The room service was always friendly and always prepared our room impeccably. Not to forget the life guards who look after us every day at the pool or by the sea and always have a funny saying in store. In short, it was a fantastic vacation that was unfortunately far too short. Here's a big thank you to Veronika, who supported us a lot. Keep up the good luck, we'll be happy to come back. This was my second time staying at this hotel and it was fantastic once again. The hotel facilities (pool fitness centre, beach access, restaurants - breakfast buffet, lobby, underground pub) were all great. Those are the only areas I got to try out during my stay. I also had access to the executive lounge which offered fantastic views of JBR and the Palm in the evening.

Pros: Beach access, fitness centre is very well equipped (lots of machines), hotel decor, underground pub, breakfast buffet very good. Staff very friendly around the hotel.
The hotel is walking distance to JBR the walk, very nice area for food & restaurants.
Good for solo travellers or families, business, the hotel suits every type of traveller.
The staff in the exec lounge are fantastic!

Cons: The evening food in the executive lounge currently not the best. It's offered as a plate of various snack foods, as opposed to picking what you would like to eat or hot food plate selection. The last stay November I also found poor compared to other Marriott Hotels in Dubai

Impossible to see prices in euro or dollars when booking directly, so uncomfortable and I think it was done on purpose to confuse everyone going back and forward with the rates of exchange and while looking trough other hotels

Extremely friendly staff.
The DISAPPOINTING shock that slides under maintenance, it was our kids main attraction.
It was a bummer for them.

We are italians in our honeymoon. We love this Place. Everybody is so kind and helpful. They even made us a Surprise in the room with congratulations.
Hotel is very nice in a kind of retro luxury style.
We have still 3 days to go. Thank you!

The whole staff at Habtoor Grand made me feel welcome, the reception were excellent very helpful & pleasant too.
My room was always clean & tidy with fresh towels each day of my stay, the food was very good plenty of Varity to choose from.
The pool was lovely also staff friendly & helpful.
I would definitely recommend Habtoor Grand Resort my experience was great I had a lovely stay. Can, t wait to return.

Great experience overall.

The resort is spacious and full of activities.

The beach side is great.

The service is so nice.

Nice resort in JBR beach with private beach and big swimming pool, but the pool facilities need to be maintained, example, water of swimming pool is salty, shower and toilet area always water leaking from bathroom and bad smell

New update: when you ask for extra towel from pool reception they will not give u! I have been to 100 five stars hotels, first time I face this kind of attitude and customer service!

Not because of the place but the reception team. We book in advance, however they didn't print our names out. After 20 min of waiting, the guy found manager Mariya who was responsible in the evening. She found out that issue and.offered us to pay 200 instead of 100 per person, acting that we, three ladies, didn't mention that we would have been coming for the ladies day in the booking. How could she even know that if she was not the one whom we spoke with.
In general, the place is very good! The rest if the staff is caring, attentive and really trying to create your mood.

Andreas situated in this resort offers a really good ladies night, with free flowing beverages and a free buffet for ladies! I mean, wow. The food isn't incredible but at least 2 good salads, rice and vegetable samosas for the vegetarians. If you eat meat there was quite a bit more. The surroundings are beautiful. We walked from the hotel to Andreas and it's a lovely walk but if you're wearing high heels rather get the golf cart which will drive you there. The service was attentive, our water was so sweet and helpful, and the music was nice. We were even singing along at times. It does get a bit loud it was very hard to have a conversation in the inside area and the outside area is reserved for those eating a la carte only. We asked to sit outside and even though the place was more than half empty, we were not allowed. I guess rules are rules.this was the second time I went there and will definitely do it again. All I paid for 3 glasses of bubbly, a delicious fruit juice and a reasonable meal was a tip for the valet and a tip for the waitor, how awesome is that.

Habtoor grand resort is very nice resort in marina area.near by to palm jumerah and radisson blue royal, having private beach and lot of space for outdoor games, having a big swimming pool in middle.from the beach you can see the dubai eye (wheel). It just adjacenf to dubai skieing.

Overall it was a nice stay at the hotel, apart from the fact that our room was cleaning while we were having breakfast and my fiancee jewerries went missing. The hotel was informed of this, instead of taking proper actions to find out what happened, they came to search our room at 10pm at night to see if they could find it. The hotel manager came to us on the last day and didn't seem to care what has happened, he said they can't find it and that's it.

I believe this could have been handle better. It was a really bad way to end a fabulous trip to Dubai.

Excellent experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was in perfect condition in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of different choices. The complimentary vallet parking service is highly appreciated, especially during summer time. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
