Tried the restaurant last evening, and i can't even describe how good the lamb chops and the butter naan were. These 2 are my favorite. Chooza chicken was good, too, but those lamb chops. Gave the restaurant 4*s are the quantity of 4 pieces is a little less. At least 6 pieces. Overall, it was a great experience, clean bathrooms, service was good, and the meal didn't take time to be served, putting in mind the restaurant was super busy.

Excellent food. Authentic taste and superior meats. Hope to have consistency in my many future visits.

No prawns. No kulfi. Staff are unhelpful at best. The food is super spice and basically impossible to eat. The meat tastes weird. Would not come again.

Flavorful barbecue, a mix of Kenyan & Gujarati flavors, great service, probably only place in Dubai giving complimentary water.

Must try for food exploration in Dubai, not the usual run of the mill marination of meat while the sauces along add to the delight.

Absolutely amazing food! Ordered the mishkaki, chicken poussin and chicken chooza! Cannot fault it one bit! Even the garlic butter naan was incredible!

Best grilled food I've had in the UAE. The Chicken Tikka is cooked to perfection. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely and the staff are amazing!

Great quality food. The place is good, Neat and clean. Their signature dish is Chooza chicken. Want to try something different, give it a try. Try the chili and lemon shrimps and the lamb chops too.

We tired the lamb chops, which was our favorite.
We also tried the chicken wings, it was so juicy and tender.
Their ice cream was so delicious, we tired Kolfi and vanilla ice cream. The vanilla flavor was amazing! Will be definitely visiting there again!

One of the best places in Duabi for BBQ. We come here almost monthly and bring friends that visit Dubai. The owners are attentive and always there to give good service.

Very tasty food, nicely marinated and succulent. My only gripe is that the portions are quite small for the price especially the wings.

Nice ambiance and quick service but very limited food option. Chooza Chicken was really tender and full of taste and so was the beef.chicken tikka however did not had the level of tenderness which is usually expected.

I can speak on behalf of most Kenyans, when you guys closed Shop back home, guys were truly sad and devastated, so for me to be in Dubai and get to enjoy the same great taste, the same fantastic service, I have to say a big thanks for that.

One of the best places in Dubai to order in or dine in at! Their ‘chooza chicken’, their lamb chops, samosas and their chicken tikka rolls absolutely superb! Really felt like you’re back home! Very efficient packing and food was fresh even 3 hours later! Brilliant and now will be a regular patron!

Great restaurant serving delicious indian spiced BBQ. Had lunch today and the service was fast, food freshly cooked and really good value for money. They also let us substitute chips for rice and flavoured cooked chips. Highly recommend this friendly and really tasty restaurant

Once you set foot at Hashmis, the first thing you will notice is the ambience and the customer service.
Servers are well aware, giving nice suggestions and accomodating.
Food quality is awesome. Masala fries, fried chicken and beef cubes had perfect spicy flavours. Sauces and chutneys accompany the food. Water is complementary.
Perfect place for nice ambience and spicy food.
Overall very nice experience, esp if you have guests over.

Phenomenal seekh kababs and I don't say that lightly being a Pakistani originally who was brought up here there's only a handful of must try Desi joints and this has quickly made it to the top of my list when my mom was visiting from the states and as a chef she approved. Masala fries are quite epic also and it's a very filling plate with 3 seekhs and fries for the price it is.

I would highly highly recommend Hashmi chicken to anyone wh loves chicken! Their chicken is filled and bursting with exotic flavours from Africa! Indeed the bestest chicken I have ever eaten in my entire life:) :) Just ordered my Eid meal, and since I live away from town and they couldn't deliver that far.the kind owner himself came all the way to deliver my order, how cool is that? I would say the best customer service! Im definitely a customer for life and would highly highly recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome chicken treat! I ordered Chooza and Poussin chicken from them and got all the lovely sauces and masala and pilipili chips all highly recommend them to try! Fantastic spot for BBQ lovers in Al Barsha. The meat was so tender and perfectly cooked i can still recall the same taste. One of the best experiences of BBQ in dubai.

Lovely food, hot in the plate, freshly made, took sometime to come on the table as it serves mainly grilled meats. I wish it had more comfortable seats and seating arrangements with decor, but the food was lovely. Had a nice time with family. Will go again.

We know that a week has 7 days, but, a week is not complete without first visiting Hashmi. It has become a norm for me and my friends to dine-in at Hashmi one to two times a week. There is not a single item on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. From the kebab to mushkaki, to the posuine and my personal favorite THE CHOOZA! The family personally looks after all the guests and make you feel part of their extended family. The food is made with their passion and love for all their guests and special attention is provided to your little ones to make sure that they are looked after. I predict Hashmk Bbq Restaurant to officially become a place-to-visit-when-in-Dxb, very soon. Oh yes, don't miss out on the variety of fries.

This is the best food I think ive had in dubai for a very very long time! The food has such a great flavour, coupled with the amazingly flavoursome fries! The owner seems like such a lovely person and very attentive. Value for money and such a great ambience! This is a new found love for me and trust me, your bound to bump into someone you know!

Tracing the history of Hashimi's which date back to 1978 in Kenya, this popular joint opened its doors to the population of the UAE.

Heard so much about this Barbecue joint that kept myself starving the whole day and ventured out in the evening to try some of their best dishes.

We ordered most of the items on the menu and it was so soft and succulent that it melted in my mouth. We could not get enough of the lamb chops, the ever famous miskaki, the chauza chicken, seekh kababs, poussin chicken, masala and fresh pineapple and passionfruit juice.

Everything was so fresh and tender that you could feel with every bite.

I would recommend everyone to try this lovely, humble joint which is bubbling with great service and amazing Barbecue items.

Normally if you’ve been to one chicken restaurant you’ve been to them all. But that’s not the case with Hasmi. VERY unique flavour and taste. Found myself dreaming of the chicken the next day - and when that happens you know it’s good! Interior is beautiful, chairs are comfortable, staff is attentive and friendly. Great experience. Excellent food and truly unique barbeque flavors. Would highly recommend anyone that wants a quality meal with a completely different flavor profile from what is available in the UAE to try it out. Menu is small, but everything is cooked really well. Service is top notch, staff are friends and the food is quick.
