I had a great couple of hours seeing Dubai from the sea. The boats are very stable and powerful enough to get you a fair distance from the harbour. Our guide Armin was really cheerful and pleasant guy. So pleased I did this.

One of the best experience that I had in Dubai.not crowded at all, you can see the greatness of Dubai, maybe they have to improve the quality of the food but still 5 stars!

The staff are very nice.the boats drive well. And they stop to help you take pictures but if you get sea sick, i don't recommend it. My wife got sick and was stuck having to complete the ride back to land. 90 minutes might be a little too much of a drive

Everything was pretty well organised wince the booking until the end of the activity. Location was easy to find thanks to link provided in the booking and then to our guide who was very much focus on waiving and welcoming us as we arrived to the harbour.
It was a great activity, pity sea was rough and we could not do all the itinerary. Our guide was ALI and he is fantastic, he made it fun and was looking after everyone all the time, really taking care and making sure we were ok and having fun. He deserves 7 stars.
I didn't give 5 stars to the activity because the boats needs some renewal or at least further maintenance. Hopefully it will happen soon so we can enjoy a 5 start activity.

Self driven boat, easy to reach location, gays there more than friendly, i spent more than 90 min just for 700 dhs i would thank everyone there especially Ali, don’t forget to take bottle to keep that in your memories

This is the second time I have been out with Hero Odysea and it was fantastic. The new harbour location is easier to get to and leaves you with more time to explore the Palm.

We stopped by the Atlantis and Burj Al Arab for photos and our guide was very kind taking pictures for us.

Very good experience to see Dubainand it's main landmarks from the sea while driving the boat yourself.
Amiri our guide had a great energy and helped us enjoy the outing. He even took pictures of us on his phone and sent them to us.

Had an amazing experience on this boat tour! The guys made you feel so welcome right from the start, you were left to have a great time without too much interference but still enough to be told about interesting facts of local landmarks and felt safe with them around you. They took pictures of you if asked at relevant points and they turned out great too! Would 100% recommend to everyone! Thank you for a great time!

I went there with my wife and we shared one hero boat. They show us how we can use the boat and the route too. So we start riding at 2: 30 pm after 30 min when we reached the first point in the route one of the boats was broke Down so we kept waiting and waiting. Then we just go back to the Harbor at 4: 30pm without completing the route. I asked for a refund and they refused. That what I believe consider a scam

Driving the boat was so much fun! Khamis was a great guide, super friendly and knew a lot of facts about each stop. Can't recommend enough. Definitely the best boat tour in Dubai!

Absolutely awesome and worth every penny. Great team, will do a comprehensive safety briefing and show you how to drive your boat safely and they also do a tour of Dubai's coastline, explaining you some details about it. Don't think any longer, just go for it

This is the ONLY self drive boating experience in Dubai. Besides that you have friendly, helpful, knowledgeable guides to assist you all the way.
The sights you can see from a HERO boat is fabulous. Boating around BURJ AL ARAB and seeing DUBAI ISLANDS upclose is amazing.

As someone who has lived and worked in Dubai, I've done just about every activity there is to do in Dubai and this boat tour would have to rank amongst the best. The staff are all really friendly, our guide JC clearly knew his stuff & was even happy to get hands on and show us the jellyfish!
Being able to drive the boat instead of just being a passenger was a huge plus for me as well.

I’ve been in Dubai for over six years. Absolutely one of the best things I’ve experienced! The staff is amazing and the boats are so much fun, not to mention that the views of Dubai from the sea are amazing! Will definitely do this again.

Was a pretty crazy experience. I done it twice and can't get enough, will recommend this to all. Jellyfish, Atlantis, Adrenaline in one tour.

This experience showed us Dubai from the sea side and we was very happy to see and enjoy most of the attraction views and boat riding. Friendly Capitans and we strongly recommend you!

As a bit of a self proclaimed adrenaline junkie I was hesitant if I'd enjoy the little boats, but rest assured they're a blast!  
Be prepared to get a little wet as you're low to the water so waves tend to splash you a little.  
The different skill levels of drivers was not remotely an issue as I just zig zagged behind.
Omar knew so many random facts. He was quite fun! He really wanted everyone to get the full experience, and tried to push my girlfriend to drive. As she was my hostage as I sped along the waves.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone of any skill level.
If you get scared and want to go back there are 2 guides so a couple went back early. So don't be scared! They're very understanding and accommodating.
Oh when you go in harbor 2 they're in to the left once you hit the actual pier. Go to the water, then turn left towards the skyview restaurant and you'll see them.

It's a wonderful way to see Dubai from a unique perspective!

I am a resident and did not know i could actually go on a boat tour without any experience.this is definitely the best boat tour in Dubai

I had a wonderful time on this boat tour! It was great to drive my own boat and it was a fun way to sightsee in Dubai. I was surprised that these boats actually go quite fast - up to 50km/h! I also learnt new things about the city and I was lucky enough to see a sting ray jump out the sea.

I had a memorable experience in the water riding the self driven boats all the way to Burj Al Arab and Atlantis. Thanks to Platinum Heritage for their latest activities.
