They did some AC and Electrical work for me. Not to be left alone without supervision when doing Electrical work as they make wrong design and decisions. They misconnected the wires and created short circuits in the main board more than 10 times until I guided them on how to do it. They damaged the AC's fuse and 4 months later they keep saying they will come fix it but never do. Not to be trusted and dangerous for Electrical work.

Don't ever bother using them! The sub-contractor took an advance to fix the glass window but many promises made to finish the job but never turned up. Called them many times but they never bothered to answer. Have requested for refund and they kept saying they will return the refund with many follow ups! Wasted time following up with them and also the Home Genie consultant took ages to respond and have not assisted in getting the refund back! Don't ever ever take the risk in using their services which is totally regrettable.

Please do yourself a favour and do not book these guys, I was silly enough to click the first website link that being these guys and they’ve done nothing but cause a headache in the last 2 weeks, stringing me along, false promises false promises. Trust me save yourself the headache!

Overpriced call out fee. Took upfront money for a repair that they weren’t even able to repair, they stop replying when they’re meant to show up! I had to contact their customer service always to check up on the contractors to ask where they are or why didn’t they show up! Days would go by and no one could tell me anything.

They bought a whole complete different stove fan when all I wanted was a repair on the one that I already had, installed it, didn’t fit, dented my fridge while they were doing it. Denied it was them! And in the end nothing was changed other than a dented fridge and an incorrect hood! I now am expecting my refund.

Try getting them to the house! MIA, don’t reply, and expect to show up after 7pm and do the work! 7-8pm! I have kids who are asleep, the estate don’t allow workers passed 6pm. I told them to not come and to come during work hours, but they were at my DOOOOR!?

DO NOT USE HOME GENIE! They’re dirty, messy stinky workers, completely unprofessional, they will make a mess and not clean up after themselves, they stink up my whole house, it’s absolutely unbelievable. I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional company here in Dubai.

Despites a lot of negative reviews we had decided to book for service and we were not disappointed - the supervisor came along with his team and stayed so we could discuss and did not have communication barriers.thanks.

As other reviews have shown, booked appointment didn't turn up on time and no communication at all. Ended up going with another provider!

I wish there was an option for -ve rating as they only deserved that.
They don’t respect the commitment. They are just time wasters, wasted my one and half day and they did not turn up.

The guys are nice as human but not as service. I sent request to wallmount 2 tv's team came with no preparation (shoe's cover, cloves, balancing tools and even screws they went to buy them on my expense) which am fine but why to bother my self if I need to get all this things I can do the job myself. For the people who is planing to use the service think twice and search more there is much better company with less cost.

Got my brand new carpet ruined by them! They did not do steam cleaning as I requested, instead they used a rotating brush that damaged the fibers and ultimately left the stain on the carpet they were supposed to remove.
They wanted to be paid full amount with the extra money for steam cleaning not performed. After they asked for normal carpet cleaning and to leave the stain as it is.
I asked them to call me back.so far no response.

They shared a quotation for a job which they are not able to do. I paid for that. Now trying to get my money back for 3xweeks. Worst experience ever. Don't work with them.

The homegenie customer service was average but then they directed me to a carpenter that contacted me, bad attitude through WhatsApp i don't think he wanted to take up the job and just gave me an approximate quote I asked for work pictures he didn't send anything told me to come to the damned workshop in sharjah? Wth? I had an agreement which was fair enough for them to sign too which they said they'll get back to me and didn't indicator of bad job. So good riddance, I forgot the name starts with an M

This is the second time I used the app. Both times were good service. They are on time and does the job right

This seems to be a fraud website. Took my booking for henna and even provided the job number details. No one turned up on the scheduled date, now they are saying they don't even have a henna team, and it was just a booking request. Why do they even have this service on this website and app if they don't provided the service, and why do they take a booking? Ridiculously pathetic, better to avoid these guys for the peace of mind.

Got a carpentry job done, very professional, timely completion and much above the expected customer services.
Special thanks to Waseem for his high knowledge, hardwork, dedication & sincerity to understand the customers needs & execute it to that imagination.
Happy Customer, will definitely avail services again and highly recommend to others.

They came to install a stove. Tried selling my a cable for 350 dhs when the actual price was 30 dhs. After I created an issue the company was nice enough to send someone back in the evening and did the work for 30dhs

I used them for cleaning service. Homegenie uses different partners. The one they sent to me was very unsatisfactory (Churu cleaning) - their cleaner Sonia was very unprofessional, unhygienic and clearly badly trained (if trained at all). Her colleague Gladys was much better. It left a bad experience for me having to watch her moves too often. I will not use again.

1 star is too much for the experience i got.
The free inspection visit of the technician was actually the company's owner who immediately advised with cleaning service and not technical one.

By the end of the day, i paid in cash and agreed if the issue is still there, the team would come again to fix.

Shocked with E- invoice that i received the day after with less amount that i paid in cash. Plus the company's owner never showed any willingness to help.

I was advised to get the extra amount refund at 1st, then i was advised to get full refund which was never happened.

Decided to spread my experience all over and will never stop

The application needs to be improved, it should be more easier to browse and select services, even the design.you should work in that.

I just had an excellent service with HomeGenie. At first, I had a very bad day as my AC was not cooling properly and the weather was very hot. Thanks to HomeGenie for fixing the issue on the spot after the inspection. The team was very helpful and well determined to fix the issue right away. Try them for any home maintenance services as they are very reliable and affordable at the same time.

Good day everyone. My name is Saliim, and I would like to share my superb experience with HomeGenie. Due to a sandstorm and everyday use of my car, I was actually looking for regular cleaning of my car. Through an online search, I tried to book with HomeGenie for a car washing and the experience was totally amazing. My car has suddenly changed from a filthy look to a spotless one. Not to exaggerate but it's like a brand new car. I will definitely use and book with them again on a regular basis.

Quite surprised really. I'll give one star for communicating but that's it.

I made a request online to have my villa surveyed for some landscaping work. And without even surveying the villa, I get messaged couple of days later to be told

"Sir, we just want to remind you that there will be no team who will accept your job request as our team is accepting only big jobs as of the moment. "

My request for a survey was refused because they assumed it was a "small" job? Why is there a service being provided only for the most profitable? That's just a terrible business model and etiquette.

And fact of the matter is, I don't know what justifies a big job? I have quite a lot of work on our outdoor area. It's basically a sandlot. But whatever, their loss.

Never going to homegenie ever. And neither will any of my acquaintances.

One star only for letting me know my job request was too cheap.

Booked a home painting service at my villa in Arabian Ranches with HomeGenie and the team did a very fantastic job. I was in the process of moving to my new place and I am very grateful that after the painting service, my place looks like a brand new home that you would love to stay with as it will give you a promising outcome. I love the quality and delivery of the job. I will definitely use them again. Thank you HomeGenie.

I totally agree with Anthony B. The booking agent was distracted and paid little attention to detail on the phone. He ended up sending the wrong address to the technician. He also he promised clearly that the appointment would be at 10, as I had to leave by 11. But when I asked to confirm their arrival this morning, the technician said they would be here within the slot allocated - which was 10-12 - and arrive between 10: 45 and 11: 15. I have spent three days trying to make arrangements simply for them to come over and provide a quote. Terrible service. I'm thankful that I dodged a bullet by not hiring them.

Life Savers! I was getting very frustrated with repairmen referred by other people, who were not communicating well, then not even showing up.

The gentleman at HomeGenie who answered the phone communicated well and was clear in the prices etc, then literally 4 hours after I called the number, my washing machine WAS FIXED!

I recommend you go for the option to send a technician rather than just having a guy show up and take it, as they might be able to fix it on the spot like the did for me.

Very relieved that a reliable company exists in Dubai.

Absolutely zero coordination between technicians and booking team. Booked for an appointment at 8-10 am. Get a call at 9am that they are just leaving and will arrive at 10 am. Not a care in a world about the customers schedule and timeline. If i am awake from 8 expecting you to arrive, common decency is to try and make it in the time that was requested. Not roll up at 10am as if people don't have a job or anything else to do. Weird that this industry hasn't caught up to the normal day requirements of the working class.

The genie came on time and has done a wonderful job in cleaning and polishing my unit. He immediately started his work while keeping healthy precautions by wearing his mask the whole time. Well done!

Absolutely abysmal! Ordered the duct cleaning service along with the installation of a smart thermostat. After surveying the unit, I have been given an 'ok'. On the day of the job, the crew didn't arrive on time, without even letting me know that there might be delays. They have rescheduled for 4 hours later, just to be late again and upon arrival, the crew sent wasn't prepared to do the duct cleaning claiming that they are not the right crew (despite being there for the survey and knowing the scope by heart) and ultimately realized that they cannot install the thermostat to its full potential. Do not risk it. Avoid at all cost.

EDIT: Few weeks later, after replying with a cookie-cutter template message on how do they "care" I have received zilch communication. Not even a simple apology. No further comments are necessary.

Needed AC coil cleaning. They quietly went about their job, did it well and left my place as clean as it was before. I’m impressed.

Absolutely worse customer service ever experienced in Dubai. 20 WhatsApp messages asking for a simple confirmation of a home cleaning booking (constantly requesting an update over the span of 4 days). Getting moved back and forth between the agency and the most useless ‘supervisor’. In 10 years living in the UAE this has got to be the worse experience dealing with any company. Absolutely will go out my way to not recommend this company to anyone.

The guys hung my wallpaper.very polite, efficient, great value compared to some other quotes i was receiving. I would recommend.

Confusing and unorganized service. I booked a simple job for ONE wall in my home to be painted. When booking, I wrote the full description of the job I needed done (current wall color, wall size, etc). Home Genie reminded me I needed to provide paint, and that the workers would organize the rest. On the day of booking, nobody came. After I followed up, they told me it was cancelled and couldn't give me a justified reason why. I then rescheduled the service for the following day, but to my surprise, the painter came with nothing and was unprepared. He said he came all the way to my home just to "see" the wall.

This was extremely frustrating because I already changed my schedule twice for them to do a simple job. Home Genie never mentioned once that the painter needed to survey ONE WALL before completing the job. It's ridiculous and a waste of my time and the worker's time.

Definitely Homegenie is the best service provider available in the market. Very punctual, responsive, absolutely easy to reach and communicate
