Hotel Fairmont The Palm

Nice day at the pool with the kids. Chilled pool which was nice in the heat of September. Pool side food was also very filling, decent kids portions and pizza's were nice.

Flow kitchen restaurant and ambiance was just amazing. Great food and perdect service. All staff were vv pleasant and accomodating.

The staff are very very accommodating and friendly. Service is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. A celebratory occasion will be celebrated all day with treats and surprises. Really fabulous place to stay

It would have been 3 stars but I gave 4 because of the staff. It was a decent stay overall but I wouldn’t stay again. Staff are extremely attentive and will do their best for you, especially Aman from LMI and the breakfast staff. However the hotel has really not been maintained. The walls in the hallways have marks, the lobby is dark and just not welcoming and food is hit and miss. Other properties on the palm are a lot better.

Rooms:

Pros - good size and comfortable beds.
Cons - dated and dark both room and bathroom. Hooks in the bathroom are in the toilet section which is just bizarre. The tv is tiny, there isn’t much point having one. There is also no turndown service unless you request one which according to me is not normal for a 5* property.

Food:

Pros - little miss India has very nice food but is definitely expensive.
Cons - the dinner buffet in the main restaurant is substandard both in quality and quantity of dishes and therefore worth visiting.

The breakfast buffet is okay but the pastries are limited and very eggy tasty. Again, not what you’d expect from a 5*.

Overall, I think you’d be okay if you came here but it definitely isn’t luxurious and definitely not worth £500 a night. If they’re running deals then sure, drop in, but otherwise, avoid and find somewhere better.

في تفرقه في التعامل مع الخليجيات غير الاجنبيات صراحه الاسمر اللي من جنوب افريقيا (المدير) سيء والاشقر (السوبر فايزر) اتوقع روسي برضو سيئ المشكله انا وزوجي لما شفنا الاطلاله ماعجبنا قال ماعندنا شي متاخ ولما دخلت قدامه عالمسافر قال اوك بعطيك اياها بس تراها بيكون ازعاج عليكم وعندكم اشغال بناء للسبا! قلتله ليش مخلينها متاحه بالمسافر وهي كذا شيلها اجل عن المسافر قال لا مااقدر
حقيييير يعني هو قاصد اني مااخذها وبعدها قال تراها سريرن منفصله وانتو ازواج قلتله عادي جدا
اتمنى ان الموظفين حقين الاستقبال يكون عليهم رقابه او يتغيرون لان واااضح مايطيقون الخليج من اسلوبهم وقت شيفتهم اليوم الخميس 6-9-2023 الساعه ٩ المساء

The reception was very bad and there is no prompt service
I arrived late at 9pm and need to do check-in
Nobody served me professionally and not even promptly
It took me a very, very long time
Honestly, the first and last time I stay in this branch

There is a difference in dealing with Gulf women other than foreign women. Frankly, the brown one from South Africa (the manager) is bad, and the blond one (the superviser) is also bad. I expect Russian. The problem is that when my husband and I saw the view, we did not like it. He said, “We don’t have anything available. ” When I entered in front of him, the traveler said, “Okay, I will give it to you, but you think it will be an inconvenience for you. ” And you have construction work for the spa! I told him why do they make it available to the traveler when it is like this? Remove it from the traveler. He said, “No, I can’t. ”
It's true, I mean, he meant that I wouldn't take it, and then he said, "You see, they have separate beds, and you're married. " I told him, "It's very normal. "
I hope that the employees at the reception will be supervised or changed, because it is clear that they cannot stand the Gulf’s style at the time of their chef today, Thursday 9/6/2023 at 9 pm.

+ When I did not pay the extra amount, imagine, as soon as I arrived in the room, I found the room attendant waiting for me with the basket, removing the minibar! What is this method? Give us information. Call and ask us

Had a wonderful experience going here. Rooms were very neat and clean. The whole place is elegant from lobby up to the hallways. The staffs here are very accomodating. They also have complete facilities. Have pools for adults and family. You can also have beach access with water sports available.

الفندق سيي يا ناس الفندق ريحه الغرف كانها ريحه بو* عزكم الله وثاني شي الغرفه كانت فيها غبار مب طبيعي وسطح الطاولات عليهن غبار انا مش دافعه فلوس عشان انام وبس دافعه عشان نفسيني تتعدل لاكن للاسف اخر مره اروح له وهاذي تجربتي بحكم اني عندي طفل ورضيع وحامل والغبار الموت.

Best hotel ive been so far. All staff are very polite specially Ms. Jackilyn who serves our breakfast with a big smile.

Fairmont the Palm is one of the best hotels that you can rent a ballroom and make an event out of it, such as weddings, prom, and etc.for a good price and they even provide amazing food.

This Hotel is absolutely Outstanding! We honestly didn't want to leave.
This was our first trip to Dubai and we have decided to make it a yearly visit simply due to the Fairmont, The Palm. The facilities were incredibly impressive, however what truly made this vacation/honeymoon a trip to remember was the service. Every single member of staff we encountered was kind, friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome. Their service was incredible our entire trip, morning to night. We had a half board trip and the food was delicious, every night we were surprised with the most incredible flavours. I can't recommend this Hotel enough. You will leave having had one of the most incredible hospitality experiences. We can't wait to visit next year. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our Honeymoon so special and our 18 month old daughters first holiday so much fun. She was living her best life everyday.

من اسوأ الفنادق بصراحه حجزنا عن طريق بوكينق وصلنا الفندق الساعة 2 ولم يتم تجهيز الغرفتين المتصلات المتفق عليهن وتم اعطانا على الساعه الخامسة غرفتين متباعدات ولم يكن هذا طلبنا لان معنا اطفال صعب تواجدهم بمكان اخر بعيد عنا وبعد ذلك تم اعطانا المطلوب على الساعه 7 والنصف يعني بعد انقضاء اليوم وتم غلق المسبح على السادسة ولم نستفيد من اليوم وكان بالمقابل اعطانا في اليوم الثاني وقت اضافي لغاية الساعه الرابعه مع وجبه غداء ولم يوفوا بالوعد بصراحه تجربة سيئة مقابل المبلغ الكبير من المال لا انصح احد بزيارتهم لعدم كفاءة الستاف بتجهيز الغرف للنزلاء بالوقت المطلوب وضياع الوقت مع احراجنا ونزلولنا للمطعم لتناول الغداء ونكران الاتفاق الادارة سيئة لا انصح بزيارتهم.

On the west coast of Palm Jumeirah’s trunk, where local seaside restaurants are commonplace. Across the road, check out The Tap House with a beer garden by the beach, and further down, Il Faro (The Lighthouse), a charming charred-crust pizzeria. Palm Monorail, open 9am to 10pm daily, runs every 15 minutes and drops passengers at three stations: Atlantis, Palm Gateway (connecting to Dubai Tram) and Al Ittihad Park, nearest to the hotel, a mere even-minute walk away.

Over priced, too many poms but you will like location, gym and half board as the lunch qnd dinner is better then there breakfast

The person in the valet cost the first star tbh… he refused to valet my car after taking out the valet voucher and as soon as he knew the reason I’m going in that I was a member, he claimed that they are “very busy at the moment sir“ even though there was four men of his same uniform at the entrance… My company is paying over 70K a year for my membership yet he prioritized restaurant goers and guests that bring in a fraction of that amount.

The good points is that they have very helpful informative signs in most places and that can teach other hotels something (for example, they have a 30 minutes max unoccupied time in your sunbathing lounger by the pool at peak times to give everyone a chance). But the concept of complimentary water in the hot summer that almost all other hotels in Dubai have is almost non existent here and the staff are hesitant to tell you where to find it. Overall they lag behind the usual standard I found in Dubai in regards to service and amenities (of similar price).

One of the worst hotels I have ever visited! It does not feel like a 5 star anywhere in the hotel apart from maybe the lobby. The room decor was a disaster and looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. Food quality was was very poor. I could go on and on but the conclusion is that I would never visit this hotel again

This was our second trip and due to covid it was re arranged 3 times, we had 3 rooms booked here and when we arrived there were a few issues due to the hotel being 98% occupied. I addressed these issues to the hotel manager Farit, he was absolutely fantastic and could not do enough to make sure our trip went as smooth as it should. Farit went above and beyond making sure my family was happy and comfortable, I would not hesitate booking this lovely hotel again knowing he is in charge and I must say he is a credit to this hotel. I am a platinum member with all the Fairmont hotels and stay regularly at Fairmont properties around the world with business and family trips and I can honestly say they know how to look after their guests to the highest standards. Some of the other staff who deserve a mention was Irshad in the valet service he looked after our vehicle and made sure our car was ready promptly whenever we needed it, also Parvis on the front desk was outstanding. Thank you Farit due to your hospitality we are planning our return trip in 2022.

We paid almost 2k USD for 4 nights and it was such a disappointment. The rooms are dated; the TV in the room is a monitor and is too small for the room. The drain is very loud when showering and you hear water running down the pipes and sewage. Breakfast is so so. It is more like a 4* hotel. We had dinner at the Seagrill restaurant and the extremely overpriced salmon filet was frozen, not fresh. Two stars are for the friendly personnel and the talented beauty salon onsite. But Fairmont? Never again.

The hotel staff is very helpful and supportive. I would like especially mention Sandeep, Amar and jayant. They were really nice and helpful at breakfast, Sandeep helped with figuring out places u needed to get in hotel, gave me a good orientation.

Amazing, Outstanding resort. It has four restaurants. Service is fast in everything you ask for. Staff is so friendly. The private beach is nice. Highly recommended. Dislike that internet is a 100 AD per day.

Spectaclar view. Good rooms, delicious dinners in SeaGrill and Little Miss India. Clean and safe beach and pools. Helpful staff.

After having known the Fairmont Austin for long time, we must conclude this one must belong to some other lower level chain. We were in Dubai for few days and bought a daily beach Groupon pass for the four of us. Too bad this hotel had put some small letters in their agreement, that they did not honour it during some sort of “local bank holiday” (Wednesday).
Their price was therefore 250 Aed against the 40 we paid. Given the Ramadam holuday they could command this more crazy price.

We went somewhere else and reported them to Groupon.

Zero stars to this freck Hotel chain and goodbye Fairmont Austin as well. We prefer other chains, who do not trick customers.
Farewell

Worst day pass I ever had in Dubai. Not only that it's not full redeemable, redeem is possible only at beach bar and we were even kicked out rudely from seagrill restaurant by a very rude responsible saying it's not redeemable there. It has lost lots of courtesy from what I had seen before pandemic. Never again, there are lots of better serving hotels in Palm.

Terrible service, great food, great hotel. I came here for my b day and it was a disaster first they told us that we can’t bring cake from outside so then me mom started to get angry then we just entered without the cake then me and my friends went swimming then the lifeguard said no swimming without parents then my parents had to stay with me then the lifeguard snitched on my parents just because we were swimming without a parent. Never coming back here in my life.

Excellent 5 star beach hotel and top service. Various good restaurants are available with large selection of worldwide dishes

A beautiful hotel but way too crowded and too much smoking outside, where you have no other choice of walking to restaurants, etc.

We had a very pleasant stay at Fairmont. It has family swimming pool and adult only pool. There are several restaurants there and a delicious Friday brunch at Seagrill restaurant. The hotel is situated opposite Golden Mile Galleria and walking distance to Nakheel Mall.

We had the afternoon tea for a baby shower and, honestly, it didn’t start off wonderfully.and then the lovely Omali arrived. She took charge and fixed everything and from that moment on we wanted for nothing! She was a total treasure - such a wonderful afternoon!

Superb quiet brunch where you can enjoy an easy afternoon. Perfect for a wedding anniversary.
Staff as always were on hand to assist and accommodate. 5/5 for me
