Short and sweet, ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS service, in regards to International Transfers. Blaming everything on ‘Global team’ which I believe doesn’t exist, to begin with. 11 days and counting, since I transferred money, and still no update.
By Far the Worst Bank in the UAE, and i am an advance customer, surely this would be the last month i deal with them.no more nonsense of HSBC.worst management worst customer service worst staff
I have had an extremely good service experience at Deira branch. Especially when I had challenges opening an additional joint account with my spouse due to technical issues from another branch. This was resolved and opened swiftly, Thanks to the excellent service provided by their staff Syed Muhammad Kaleemullah. I have also been there for other banking transactions and it has been swift and professional.
Very unhelpful customer service. Especially the local lady in the reception at this hour, She is so rude in the morning, she doesn't like her job. Poor experience I had in this branch. Will cancel my account because of this lady. She must be sent back to customer service training.
Very bad customer service, I had to go back to them more than 3 times for the same issue. The sales and service manager is a person that knows nothing about the new bounced checks rules and regulations and is not willing to help or even enquire from his legal team to try and understand the new process. Thank God that I’m not one of their clients.
Came here to get a demand draft for an exam, waiting time to get this done is really too much although few customers in the bank. More than an hour so far, still waiting: (
Totally useless and incompetent. I updated my travel plans via HSBC internet banking about a week before travel; HSBC customer service replied and confirmed the details have been updated and entered into the system. Upon arriving to my travel destination, I tried to make an ATM cash withdrawal and both times my transaction was not approved.then an HSBC customer service rep called my Dubai phone number. I didn’t answer to avoid being charged high roaming fees just to explain to an incompetent employee that their negligence is making my life difficult. I tried to send a message via internet banking but.lo and behold, their messaging service is temporarily down.
**Update: about 2 years later and the same issue happens all over again. This time, they don’t even know how to update my phone number in their system correctly. HSBC Middle East is a genuine disaster now. If it wasn’t the only widely available international bank, I would not use them. You have been warned.
The worst ever customer service, I have been chasing them for one week now. The ATM retained the deposit amount and the card and NO RESPONE FROM THE BANK! Every time I call the phone banking I get one answer "the concerned department is investigating and they will get back to you" INVESTIGATING WHAT!
I went there with a request from an other bank. They were very helpful. The staffs were very co-operative. Came forward asking if needed any help. From Security to the customer care executive, the tellers, everybody was so friendly. In fact they even said they can talk to the other bank as the procedure mentioned by the other bank was wrong. Ultimately we came out with the right information from HSBC. Did not even feel that we were in the midst of a Pandemic. There were smiles around conveyed thru eyes. Bravo Guys. Excellent Service.
One of the worst banking experiences with HSBC I requested for my liability letter and they understood I will going to settle-down my liability and cancel my account and they delayed for my liability for 3 weeks whenever I used to call they will make some false commitment till now I didn’t receive my liability letter I personally suggest do not open an account in HSBC one of the worst bank
