The worse, they kicked us out 9: 55 they said at 10 we close the buffet and we are regular clients, and one more thing they never answered the phone, shame never again

1. If you haven’t tried sushi or any Japanese cuisine before and you want to try it, this may be a good option for you. Cheap: 118aed for unlimited sushi with misou soup and crab salad.

2. If you’re craving for sushi and you’re on tight budget, you come here.

3. If you tried so many Japanese restaurants before especially the authentic ones or you have been to Japan, don’t expect this restaurant to be of that level.

PS. Their crab salad is good. Sushis are so-so. Staff are nice.

Miso soup & crab salad was delicious, but Sushi buffet not really wow as rice is sticky and no taste to be honest.

I went ahead with the "all you can eat". I found out it is not all you can eat from the menu but all what is available on the rail which is a set of limited selection, basic ones. They failed to explain what was included and what not, so I left the place hungry.and never going there again.

Visited their Palm Jumeirah location to try the 98aed unlimited sushi promo. This includes all items on the conveyor belt, miso soup, tempura (no shrimp), and fried maki. Ambience and quality of food is great. Of course you need to manage expectations - not the best but worth trying. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Itsu is a great place if you want to chill with your friends and have some inexpensive good sushi at The Palm.
Itsu at the Golden Mile at The palm has a very good sushi belt that you pay a one time fee (less than AED 100) and it comes with hot and cold appetizers, sushi, sashimi, dumplings, salad, soup and dessert. This is a good place to go if you are hungry and don't want to spend a fortune on sushi. Well worth a check and price is amazing!
(4 stars because I felt the chairs on the bar were uncomfortable)

The place is very nice. Good decorations, I love the vibes. Presentation of the dishes very nice.

Food is tasty but recently its not hot, they don’t treat people using discounts properly, there is one tall guy he is very rude, they don’t welcome you

This is my 4th time and they were Excellent on each occasion. Some chefs inside are a bit disrespectful, once put in place all is good.

SERVICE & QUALITY ON THE DECLINE
I have been a regular at Itsu since Nov-20 and must admit that the initial service was of top quality. With the exception of one lady staff, all the other staff seems not to appreciate a frequent guest; they don't even greet you! The attitude and service of the staff needs a revamp. There have been frequent occasions when they have stated that ice cream flavors and salmon belly are not available. I have availed of the unlimited sushi/sashimi not only through Groupon vouchers but even otherwise. Although unclear on the usage of Entertainer vouchers (although understandably it is for Ala Carte only) being limited to in-house and not take away, there seems to be no clarity. The food quality seems on the decline with the sushi falling apart and the sashimi having blood stains and getting smaller by the day. The new twist is for the restaurant not to serve you on the table but only on the conveyor; this is appalling as it disturbs the others when we push our hands through whilst they sit on the highchairs and inconvenient to get up each time as the portions are small. I also need to emphasize the absence of many items like chicken gayozo, hammour sashimi, crab tempura, etc. Also, the hot dishes are cold and do not appeal to take a second round. A number of sushi items were missing like Hana sushi and other key sushis which were mouth-watering on previous occasions. What started as a fantastic experience and made me go to the outlet atleast once or twice a month has now reached a state of me not to go to Itsu. If things don’t improve, I am sure Itsu will only be remembered as a good restaurant once upon a time.

We were staying at the Hotel Fairmont the Palm and walked across the street for other food options. Wait staff was courteous. All you can eat sushi sashimi combination was good with selection of items on menu card pictured.

The food and service was ok, can’t say that all the food is really Japanese, taste really different, but nothing wrong with it. As for the drink it was served in the glass jar, the one that you use for food storage. I don’t think it’s a good idea until unless you call it restaurant, not cafeteria.

First of all, my first impression of the place was, wow, cozy and warm. But as soon as we approached the 'reservation' desk at the entrance, we noticed that none of the staff took notice of us. We had to signal someone to come to us. She came to us and told us we will have to wait for an hour and wait for someone to leave. This was not expected. We had asked them before leaving, if it's possible to make reservations and they said it was not possible. Anyway, we gave our number to her and she promised to call when a table was free that evening. After waiting for ten minutes we decided to leave as we were getting impatient and above all, we were starving! So we found another place and had our meal. The call never came. It would have been disastrous if we had waited and never got a call from the staff who is responsible for these situations. Anyway since we had a Cobone coupon to use we decided to go another day and went there really early. The food is good. But that experience left a bitter taste. Not the best Japanese food, but I'd say worth the coupon value we spend on Cobone. Not going there again.

My mom and I visited this place for the first time ever and I was shocked from hospitality been provided over there. When we arrived the venue was full so we were standing outside at the entrance and waiting for someone who will assist and advise us when can we have our seats and how long we will have to wait at least. But there were two staffs and none of them were paying attention on us like we never exist, but pretending being busy with other guests. I even greeted them by myself and asked if there’s a place for us but been ignored first then requested to wait for someone to leave. They even didn’t apologized for inconvenience and run quick away. So I offered my aged mom to sit at the corner of long sofa which is right at the exit border and one of their two staff (old Asian female) just jumped in front of us by saying that it’s not allowed to sit as they reached the capacity and we have to wait outside of restaurant. What a shame to behave this way with their customers especially my mom which is not that young to stand for next 1 hour and wait for the table. I totally understand about social distance and venue capacity but it could be explained in very polite way and they could offer at least one chair for my mother. But when there’s no one even asking to wait for a while of course I’ll offer a seat to my mom by myself. I also surprised the way she started shouting on me that it’s COVID time and we must stay outside and arguing with me when I tried to say that my mom is not removing her mask and doesn’t even touch the table with her finger, she only needs a seat while waiting period. We finally got our table after 1 hour of waiting for it. The waitress was arrogant and seamed not happy doing her job, skipped saying “enjoy your meal” or reply us when we said “thank you”. However sushi were good. We ordered Itsu Maki Platter (30pcs) Bonsai Maki (8pcs) and Philadelphia Maki (8pcs). They were delicious and fresh. But service is totally horrible. The management should check the attitude of their employees and provide excellent customer services for their clients.

Nothing too exciting. Plastic cutlery. Very average service. Dirty sitting area. Sushi was ok but nothing wow. Will probably not use again.

One among the fine dining restaurants in Dubai that serve Salmon Sashimi at its original best. The buffet is totally worth it, having all inclusions - soups, salads, hot and cold dishes, sushi platter (wide variety), sashimi platter and desert. Ambience is relaxed and peaceful, staffs are friendly and the food is simply fresh and made to perfection. If you’re a Salmon Sashimi person, this is your place as it’s served unlimited with the buffet option.

A good experience, helpful staff and well presented food. The white fish was not to our taste but the rest was yummy. The only thing which could be improved was probably a little more tuna! Really good value for money.

Very rude staff and not only for one time visit as i had to get th rude treatment for second time due to being near to my house. They kept delaying the food and when we asked to move to a table, the waiter asked us to carry ourr plates! No moving for empty plates, although waiter is 1 meter away all the time, every single order needs follow up and calling them to hurry which ruined the evening.
In addition the food wasn’t fresh and we had to leave the last two plates almost untouched. Itsu Palm needs attention from management, staff are not trained and they have a major attitude, makes customers uncomfortable to ask them for anything.
I went to the while we were the customers in the restaurant and also when it is crowded and it is the negative attitude from the staff

It's been a while since the last time we visited a Sushi Restaurant. Tonight, we have tried the Itsu The Palm branch. It was very quite and peaceful place not so crowded. The food was so nice and very fresh on top they have an excellent service, no waiting for a long minutes. We will be back and share this amazing experience.

Awful place. DO NOT GO THERE unless you are planning to pay the full “all you can eat” package for your 4 years old kid for eating one piece of sushi. Awful staff awful service!

Customer service need to be developed, waiters definitely needs more training how to deal with customers. Have been here many times, and no matter what, it always feels that they are rushed and does not listen to customers requests till the end.

Food was mediocre, service was terrible. After about 5 reminders to the waiter for the food we ordered. We decided to just pay up and leave. Wont be going there again. We went for all you can eat. But honestly for the price the food was just average.

A very nice place with great service and fresh food. So far was the best one out of this franchise that I visited.

The staff were nice, very quiet when we went which was nice. Staff were polite. Lovely and clean (do wish there was somewhere to rest your feet when sat on the stalls though)
