Jones the Grocer - Dubai Mall

A few weeks back I had mini burgers from Jones at someone's place, which we really liked, and based on that we decided to go for breakfast. However, it was a very disappointing experience, we ordered Arbaic and Traditional English breakfast, and both were bland. I felt like eating oily food with no taste and felt awful after that. Coffee was just okay. Service was great, staff was very friendly and ambiance was food too.

They really need to improve quality of their food.

Yesterday I went with my husband to have chargrilled beef udon to Jones the Grocer in dubai mall, usually they put small amount of udon noodles (but they keep saying it should be like this portion), so I asked to put double noodle, since I had last time double, for additional price, but indian manager said they can only put for half price of food (69 dh) which means for 34 dirham, but 1week before I paid around 19 dirham for just “ noodle “ this is really ridiculous how they r cheating people! No more having dinner or main courses there! Don’t advice this place to anyone! So unprofessional hostess unfriendly black women and waiters as if I owe them smth!

The hostess is rude. She should be replaced. She saw us twice waiting in the reception. But unfortunately she avoided us and went the kitchen. Standards is not match to Dubai Mall customer service

As we were scouting for places to eat in Dubai mall, Jones the grocer was suggested by a friend to sample the Australian cuisine. We ended up ordering pasta, truffle fries and udon noodles in chilli oil. I found the food to be decent but forgettable. Infact, found the pricing to be a little on the higher side even after the membership discount. Overall I would probably recommend this for a one-time dining experience if you manage seats with the fountain view of Dubai mall

The worst experience ever. We went there the last day of Ramadan for set menu. 4 people…. We ordered and…. Only 2 people got their soup like 10 min after sunset after 2x asking the staff to bring it…. Another 2 did not get anything and when we told them we still need 2 more soup the lady waiter was looking surprised…. We asked her to bring it fast as we were fasting and we are hungry…. She looked us and laugh…. Then again we waited for another 10-15 min and again kept asking them to serve it… then they got us the remaining soup but… one of them was different than we ordered… so they took it back and we again waited for the last soup to served…. In the mean time, another waiter brought the main dish for 2 people…. While other one was still waiting to get the soup…. We asked for water…. It also took ages to bring it…. We ordered desserts… I asked them to serve it… after 15 min they finally served it but…. It was not the dessert we ordered.
I’m sorry to write this however, the restaurant is not well organized, the staff doesn’t know what to do nor how to do it.
We left highly dissatisfied, almost upset.

If you are looking for a best spot in dubai mall with amazing view and crew, this place is highly recommended.

Currently having the burnt chessecake with hot tea after a filling dinner. Ambiance is relaxing, food is affordable and tastes good. Received excellent service rendered by Nerupa, she's great!

Jones the Grocer has served scrumptious dishes especially the English breakfast and their carrot cake.

Unfortunately rating them at 2 stars due to an unpleasant visit today. Had ordered lunch, trying their Harissa Chicken, Seabass and Spicy Rooster burger.

The first 2 dishes were quite good truly deserving of 5 stars, however the entire experience was ruined due to the Spicy Rooster which was far too greasy. Have relayed the concern on the same to the staff.

Wonderful experience for a week end lunch. The service was prompt, the people serving were polite and efficient. The items were expensive but the food touched our soul.

Love this Jones the Grocer branch in Dubai Mall (mostly in winter for the outdoor seating). We ordered the Atlantic salmon and Jones signature Wagyu burger. Burger and fries are amazing, 5/5. For the salmon, it’s good but portion is really small, given nothing comes on the side, i would suggest adding a rice or mashed potato side:).

We had outstanding experience in jones dubai mall, (Kenjay) & (Hamza) was amazing host, very accommodating and friendly staff, you made our night guys, definitely will come again and we strongly recommend the restaurant ️️

New favorite! Some really nice treats and tarts! You can try then in mini bite sizes or indulge with a bigger size too! The coffe is good the food is super fresh! And most of all Delicious!

Cool place. For breakfast, I liked the sandwiches more than egg-dishes. The french press coffee is wonderful.

One of our go to places in Dubai Mall for great food, if you lucky you can also get a seat overlooking the Dubai Fountains

It was absolutely terrible. The waiter was rude he brought us the wrong drinks and he was insisting we ordered those drinks. On top of that i got poisoned by those Sydney Sliders.

Very bad service. The staff are not welcoming. I had to wait more than 15 minutes just to place the order after calling the staff many times and They pretend not to see you. They even didn't ask.about the drinks. Will never go again.

Each item on the menu jas a gourmet feel to it. Quality of food is great and so are the portion.

Service is terribly slow. At least 30 minutes to take order and 45 minutes to process it. Waiters are also not friendly. Feels like they are unhappy to serve customers.

Came back a year later and the food is just as good!
But this time I came for coffee and sweets, and they did not disappoint.
They have the best honey cake in town and their coffee is very well made.
The service is still excellent.
And the ambience is brilliant!
You should definitely come visit!

They took forever to get the breakfast order to table, and then when they did, they got the eggs order wrong and had to redo it. Service was pleasant though. Just very slow. The food did taste very good though, if I wasn't that hungry, I'd not have minded waiting so long. So, go if you're not hungry?

What an amazing place for lunch! I've been here 3 times now and Jones the Grocer Dubai Mall has not dissapointed. The staff are extremely pleasant and the food is top notch. In the winter, you should come early to snag a seat on the balcony that gives a beautiful view of the Dubai Mall fountain. Make sure you use your Entertainer for BOGO on mains and breakfast items, or get the 20% flat discount. We will be back!

Good food however waited half an hour to get it, and got all items served in one go when it finally did arrive (no concept of brining out food when it is ready). When questioned on the delay, the waiter just stared blankly and not even an apology. Suggest Jones cuts down on number of tables or increases kitchen staff if they cannot cope.

It was amazing experience and the food taste fresh and delicious. The service from Laura was outstanding! She made sure we have everything we need.

Its a nice place to have lunch or dinner, its the kind of restaurant that you can viait frequently and not get tired if their food.

I didn't like that kids area was closed, it is very essential for kids and parents at the same time.

Came here for a weekend brunch. Great food and chill atmosphere. Also special mention to Laura the waitress for impeccable service. Definitely coming back ️

Came for breakfast with a friend. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but it was worth it as the food is delicious! We ordered French toast, pancakes, eggs and bacon which came out quickly and was very yummy, the servings were perfect! The geisha tea and also lemon grass and ginger were delicious, it should come with free refills though. We will definitely be back for more.

Staff are not welcoming or pleasant… if you don’t like your job, change career! This just makes you not come back!
Food was ok, portions were small, considering the price and the names on the menu. I’ve ordered for example “ Me so hungry” which you assume you’ll eat well, guess what, I left hungry! The portion would be enough for a kids menu…

The food is always amazing, clean and whatever diet limitation i had during my pregnancy they made sure they deliver amazing dishes. And a special thanks to Laura who was always so nice and helpful

We had gone for dinner at The Dubai Mall restaurant yesterday many of the items on menu was not available

The sea bass was very dry and quite tasteless.

The steak and fish n chips was good

This branch not great compared to the SZR one

The atmosphere was nice and bright and the food was good but what i loved the most was the friendly staff, especially Ms. Laura who treated us very kindly and even let us try some cheese! Overall, it was a good experience.

I gave 4 out of 5 because its always crowded and there's always a never ending waiting list,
But regarding the food and taste its pretty good, and thanks to the amazing Laura for giving us a great service and very nice lady!

The Ultimate Jones burger was absolutely above perfection! It’s so delicious and juicy. I would like to thank Ms. Loura for her great smile and kindness with us.

I’m a fan of Jones the grocer. All the time ordering from InstaShop. Tonight was my first visit here. Place look nice. I ordered glazed prawns with peanuts. It was tasty. Coffee and macaroons tasty too. Service friendly but a little bit slow (but it was Friday and it was crowded so I can understand)

Great location. Partially overlooks the Famous Dubai Mall fountain. Quieter than most restaurants at that area. Service is great and the food is delicious.

Really bad experience attempting to have dinner here. Ordered a steak and chargrilled salad. Steak not edible at all, too chewy and rubbery. Salad leaves whilted. Sent back the meal and stated that I’m unhappy with it. No supervisory presence or apology. Never again.

Went it to have a quick fresh snack.food was anything but fresh.you would think that their best seller would taste nice but the beef/turkey bacon was dry and chewy, the vegetables not fresh and the avocado sparse.very dissatisfied.

Worst experience ever on 05/1/20 from the waiters who treated us with disrespect and indifference (family with a 4-month baby) and were reluctant to serve us attending the neighboring tables that came after us. Very disappointed from the Jones' that we used to love and trust for its quality of service and products. We'll spread the word for that awful behavior and experience. A customer's time and satisfaction must be valued from at least the
places known, preferred and tried for their superior service that we thought Jones guartanteed.

Good location with a nice view of the fountain area. Tried only the desserts and coffee which were pretty good. Also liked the mini play area for kids. Came here twice in a span of a week.

The quality changed and the food presentation is not good I order Acai bowel came in melted and they told me they change the recipe

Had a Wagyu Beef burger - medium - with French fries. It was delicious and could not be better. Others had a Caesar salad with chicken but no croutons and the other was a quinoa salad plus 100 gm for olives which was for a vegan. All three were excellent. I had a juice crusher and the others had water and orange juice. To end it, ended with 2 cups of latte macchiato.

If you want to have a meal in a quiet atmosphere this is the one.their food is good.it's not heavey neither lite.what I mean is it fills you up without the feeling that you ate over or can't finish it.love this place.my nearly always go to when am in dubai mall.plus they have healthy food.no going wrong in this place.

Roasted caramelised spicy nuts with a selection of olives. Peanut and citrus-glazed spicy prawns sesame lime mayo. Wagyu croquettes Sriracha aioli
Burrata with balsamic glaze, cherry tomatoes, candied nuts with chargrilled sourdough. Smoky aubergine dip cherry tomatoes, almond dukka on chargrilled sourdough. Everything was just perfect.

The perfect healthy option with an exceptional taste. Grilled steak salad with chargrilled artichokes, avocado, roasted cashews, salad leaves, shallots, radishes, chilli, cumin and brown sugar rub. Black quinoa, kale and roasted sweet potato salad avocado, pomegranate and toasted pine nuts

The most amazingly scrumptious platter i ever had. Truffle and mushroom risotto drizzled with white truffle oil.
Australian striploin steak* Fiery outback dry rub with chilli finish. Grilled Atlantic salmon. Cardamom Chicken Kebabs.

ON THE SIDE.it was just the perfect treat for a foodie like me.loved every bite of it. Truffle Parmesan fries with truffle mayo

Could’ve been a one time off. But I had a very disappointing experience.

Ordered medium well got it well done and the waitress insisted it was medium well!

People with me had no complaints though.

First time here. Place opend 7 months ago. Huge patio overlooking the fountain. Not a full view of the fountain show, but not bad. Food was clean and healthy.

Though the service and food is good wand worthy of 4 or 5 stars, I cannot bring myself to recommend Jones the Grocer considering the absolute rip off on the pricing. If you order breakfast, you pay AED 23 for half a medium sized avocado, AED 15 for extra tomato and AED 29 for a couple of rashers of extra bacon. Suddenly your breakfast is almost at AED 100 for a medium sized plate. The quality is good, make no mistake, but this is ordinary breakfast fare and certainly overpriced at that rate. There are other breakfast spots in Dubai offering the same quality and quantity and far better value. Come on, Jones. I love you so much but this is not on!

If you’re looking for the best Almond Croissant in Dubai, you’ve found the place. I’ve been to 3 branches of Jones the Grocer, but the croissant here was in a league of its own. The Dubai Mall Branch also offers great views of the Dubai Fountains (weather permitting).

Going by the cost of the food here, I'd say the quality of food is average. I've heard a lot about this place and a lot of people speak highly of the burgers and steaks. I was disappointed.

The food didn't taste bad but for the price you pay, the quantity, quality and flavour of food especially the meat can be improved.

The best part of our meal was the strawberry milkshake and the service.
