Frustrated with the hotel.

We are staying here and something as simple as "do not put salt in the baby food" somehow was not communicated, someone felt it was logical to put salt in the food of a 9 month old.

Have been here multiple times and usually it's 10/10. This time is good, however attention is CRITICAL when dealing with food for babies.

Incredible hotel. Staff were very polite and extremely friendly. Amala restaurant was amazing. Food was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.

Luxurious palace! I watched it for the first time in 2011 and 12 years later I inspected it again as part of a work trip! What can I say - time passes, but the standard of luxury, wealth and beauty does not change! The hotel is gorgeous! The service is excellent!

The hotel is good for kids and has a nice kids club and pool. Other than that the hotel felt over crowded we could not dine in any of the restaurants even though we were on half board basis but apparently the restaurants were too full. The room service was very slow and also the AC could not be controlled in our room on the first night it was freezing cold and then they came and fixed it the next day.

Zabeel Saray is a good hotel. The staff are friendly and the food served is really good but there are a few things it's missing. Before that, the key thing to understand is that it's located at the end of the Palm. So getting to anywhere in dubai requires a taxi and a 30 to 40 min ride.

The hotel has stopped the shuttle service to many places and also complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark. This means you will need to purchase tickets to the nearby Aquaadventure, which means about 350 per family of 4, for which you will need a taxi.

Food choices when we went were limited, esp for kids. Although there is a kids menu in all of the included half / full board restaurants, you have only chicken nuggets, fishfingers, burgers, and pasta to choose from. There is no lunch and dinner buffet in the summer months, which is really confusing and disappointing.

Also, 1 of the restaurants was closed whilst our stay. It would have been great to have a buffet option in the hotel. But the half board does include other Jumirah hotels but again requires you to get a taxi.

The door and vallet staff do try to get you to pick the hotels own "limo" service, but these work out more expensive unless you are going as a group.

Rooms are nice, but look a bit dated compared to Mina Salam / Jumirah Beach Hotel. But the housekeeping, pool and restaurant staff were great. The E-Butler was great as usual.

Another thing about the restaurants in the hotel was that the time it took for the food to arrive was quite long. 30 to 45 mins in some instances despite them being quite empty. Having the food was really good.

Be advised that the breakfast buffet can get very busy, and you can be waiting a while to get a table at peak times.

The kids' area was good, although just like the rooms it could do with a refurbishment.

Overall our stay was nice, the decor in the lobby is really nice and the general upkeep of the hotel is good.

It does not, however, make it the best property in the Jumirah portfolio as I think Mina Salam is the best overall hotel I have stayed in.

Hotel is beyond expectations.my friend and I met Lalit staff in the restaurant in the breakfast time he is very gentleman and have great smile and customer service was fast in serving us.two days we we’re enjoying his service. He is amazing

Where do I begin? Jumeirah brand in my eyes was supposed to be one of the high end brands of Dubai however, having stayed there for what was supposed to be 6 days I had to cut this short due to an incident with my child at the entrance of the hotel, couple of nights ago we returned from an evening out and she sadly fell into the water feature outside the hotel, the feature is unmanned and has no barriers for safety, luckily I were next to her and managed to pull her out, this traumatised my 2 children and wife as this could have ended really badly. The response from the management team was unbelievably poor and instead of taking ownership they blamed me for not safeguarding my child and offered a room upgrade and a spa treatment, which was a kick in the teeth! As you can see from the images there are no barriers to protect a child from potentially falling in, during my stay I seen a number of families leaving kids unattended and this could easily happen to someone else's child and end a lot worse.

I would strongly recommend to anyone wanting to book this hotel to stay far away and go to somewhere where they care about customers, having cancelled my stay I have ended up at Le Royal Meridien on the marina where I have had an unbelievable experience and continue to do so. My complaint was handled really poorly and I will be taking this matter further when returning to the UK. Even before the incident when we checked into the hotel we weren't welcomed as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, there was no refreshments or check up on me or my family all they offered was the room upgrade which was part of the booking anyway! The hotel is dated and pictures make it look better than it is.

Would never stay at a jumeirah brand hotel ever again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, if I could give 0 star review I would!

Once I arrived to check-in, I realized that I mistakenly brought my expired ID instead of the new one. Despite showing them my new ID through a government app, which led to the same app they were asking for, Affan in the reception was rude in the way he asked for it. This upset me even before I entered.

Stunning and a very welcoming staff from the start till the end of our stay! Excellent service we stayed for two days for our honeymoon and to celebrate my darling birthday Natsha Hellen made it more special by preparing some HBD roses petals on our bed.we were really surprised, especially my sweetheart it a was real genuine gesture from her and great communication between staff you could really feel they are align and well trained and very professional. We also had a great time in Talise Spa. Very calming vibes and staff are lovely too! Their snow bath is worth a try! Possibly the absolute WORST concierge service I have EVER received! The only job a concierge has is to give service. We have visitors from the US staying at their SUPER EXPENSIVE villas. I sent flowers to welcome them to our beautiful country and the concierge would not even entertain receiving the flowers unless I gave him the Villa number! How am I supposed to know their Villa number without asking them and ruining the surprise. He wouldn't even trouble himself to look up their name on the system. His answer: "There are 38 villas, do you know how many Villas I have to check? " Seriously? We are in the year 2021 no? Computers? I'm not asking you to go door to door! Horrible service. I finally had to ask my guest their villa number. Ruined the surprise completely and got me super angry in the meantime. In the end after arguing with him so much, he troubled himself and found out which villa they were at. Because every guest MUST provide a passport copy so all this guy had to do is check the last name I gave him. But too late, I had already asked the guest. Horrible concierge service. Train these guys will you? It's their only job, to give service! Never have I encountered such an unhelpful concierge.

The place is beautiful, however my friends and I were treated poorly. Please make sure that you bring your actual day pass, or you will have the hardest time getting in. Please understand that my friend also made a reservation, however there was not enough room at the pool.
As stated, the hotel is beautiful;it was just difficult to enjoy the ambiance when facing, numerous issues.

The hotel has a decent name and appearance, but some of the hotel staff do not live up to its status.me and my boyfriend were misinformed, saying that I can get to the hotel with any passport I have.the room was paid for and when I brought my passport, from the other end of Dubai, I was not allowed into the room. I have a question, do you have problems with the competence of your employees or is it such a deception to get $ from visitors? ! The next day we still managed to get us in, but the trial took almost a day and a lot of nerves!

Whenever I visit Dubai for business I love to book the brunch at the hotel with use of the spa facilities. I bought my business partner alongside with me as it was her first time visiting. As we walk around the Buffett brunch our masks were on and as we sat down ready to eat this rude English lady just as we are about to eat she tells us to put our masks on just when we’re about to put food in our mouth, however when I looked at other guests in the hotel who weren’t wearing masks she didn’t say a single thing to them but only to us as were are from the UK but from a different ethnic background. It really put us off our food and we didn’t get to have our dessert.

Secondly since we left the restaurant we were walking around the hotel taking pictures and the security guard Suresh kept on following us around asking where we are going and not to go to certain areas as we were just taking pictures. Anywhere we walked he followed us and put us on edge.

From a couple of bad experiences we will not be returning again and did want to book this hotel to stay in the new year and disgusted with the way the guests and staff behaved towards us.

Overall experience good, spent full day between beach and the pool. Ordered some food and drinks. Pain bagnat extremely salty. Pizza burrata dough not cooked properly. Service pretty slow overall, I had to follow up many times with order and could see staff were overwhelmed due to lack of enough manpower. Beach team especially Raj were spot on however more staffing will help the team even more in delivering what normally Jumeirah hotels provide excellent service. On arrival didn't experience warm welcome from the door to the desk. Ambiance and atmosphere very dull inside the hotel. Pool and beach areas music should be played.

The sea view and in-room services are excellent. The pool and kids play area is fun. A big Thank you to all the staff, especially Tanasia and Abdul for making my birthday special. It was a luxurious and relaxing getaway!

If you are looking for somewhere to relax, eat well, have fun and literally a place to enjoy, this is the place.
5 star is not enough to explain how wonderful was the service and facilities.
We had the best reception experience with Mr Abdu Samad and Mrs Saba.everything was definitely excellent.
Thank you Jumeirah Zabeel Saray for making our vacation awesome, looking forward to see you again.

Reservation team was perfect, breakfast was not that good as viarity of food as well the staff who are helping in giving foods on the stands, also the room service was not helpful as well very bad sewage smells come out from the second floor as well flooding in the bath room, I am not happy from the standard of the zabeel saray however I hope they can watch out our comments and avoid them in future

Overall great stay until I came across a couple of rude staff members! I was asked to do the hotel a favor and check out early as the people who are supposed to be in my room are here! This is after paying US$ 500 per night for my room!

Check in time is 3pm so I do not think that it should be my issue if another guest arrives early!? I should not be asked to leave early!

It was like having a soda with a gourmet meal! All ok till the end!

We arrived about 9pm on Sunday, May 2 and were checked in by the front desk staff in a friendly manner, although both of our credit cards were declined & the company told us the staff weren't processing our cards correctly, so it did cause a few minutes of unnecessary stress. But apart from that, we felt we were treated with respect and appreciation throughout our stay. There are staff available for assistance no matter what section of the hotel you wander into. They will give you directions, kindly ask if you have a mask if you forgot to put yours on, point out the elevator locations and anything else!
The grounds are clean and gorgeous - the landscaping is so beautiful.
Our room was just the way we wanted it to be our 1st night in Dubai - glamorous and beautiful. The beds were spaced out so we weren't cramped and so comfy! The restroom was behind some heavy doors that kept the noise in, lol. Very nice tub that we didn't get a chance to use, but the shower was roomy & the everything worked fine. Nice bathrobes and slippers await you in the closet.
We had room service when we got there and it was a nice assortment of cheese, hummus & pastry. My buddy & I dined outside on the patio in the morning for a nice buffet breakfast. It was peaceful and beautiful and the staff was very attentive.
We only stayed the one night, as we were meeting a group in town but we returned Friday for a spa day (see my review on Talise Spa). I'll never forget my stay here and I understand now why my buddy insisted we come out a day ahead of our group so we could stay here (she had been here before). It was memorable and I hope to return some day!

HOTEL FROM HELL! I’ll be explaining some advantages mostly negative experience. Some hotels exaggerate their stars this hotel is apparently “5*” 5* means that everything is perfect. WELL THIS HOTEL IS NOT. We went as a family because we decided to do a wedding here.

Let’s start with breakfast very lazy they only have a 3 rotation breakfast veal, chicken and lamb sausage that’s it. Boring breakfast they don’t do anything different. Scrambled eggs are rushed they are watery, boiled eggs are not even boiled they are soft and watery. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH.

My aunty’s had a room, the room was flooded with water. Is this “5*? ” The air conditioners are rubbish you can’t adjust it, it is either too hot or too cold, you can’t sleep at night I literally couldn’t sleep all week. A hotel should have working air conditioning with no problems with it not working HOW IS IT 5*?

We had a wedding, my brother was allowed to bring our 9 month old baby to the shisha area. But the next day we went to go shisha they didn’t allow the baby? ! Then they try blaming us and saying it’s a private area the wedding area, a private area is a place private to you and if people can see you and walk by how is that private! Then one of the managers tried giving example of being in an house, sorry but you don’t have the public walking by your house watching you do shisha. Rude manager called ibrahim.

We had cold showers for a week and they came to check 3 times and still didn’t fix the issue and same with air conditioning. AWFUL EXPERIENCE does a 5* hotel have cold water?

This place is not for babies Atlantis is better even though it’s expensive it meets your requirements and you get more for the money you pay for. This hotel was an absolute rip off. I don’t care if the architecture of the hotel is great, how the hotel functions is absolutely RUBBISH.

THE DINNER: They are mostly the same dinner nothing different only good dinner was pan/ Asian day but even that day they were soo cheap, they don’t put anything like squid because they know it’s expensive. You pay this much money but they try their best to save money. A Bottle of water £6 what’s it made out of Gold/Fairy dust? Half the time they bring it warm. THIS HOTEL WILL TRY RIP YOU OFF MAKE THE MOST OUT OF YOU.

OVERALL CHEAP HOTEL NOT 5* EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE 3*. The only good thing is the spa and the cleaners do their job well and extremely nice cleaners that’s all. I haven’t tried the Turkish bath or the private expensive massages but the sauna and jacuzzi are great. But this doesn’t make the 5* experience. The sea is just the sea lots of jellyfish but that’s nature. Itwas an awful experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! OR THINK TWICE!

This is a great hotel to stay in if you're ever in Dubai. It's very luxurious. The breakfast is very good. You can spend your day in the swimming pool area & the award winning Talise Spa (free entrance & facilities usage for staying guests). Before sunset you can enjoy the city as there's not much to do in the daytime because of the heat (in summer).

Extrem edles und sauberes Hotel, sind schon zum 2. Ten Mal da. Ein Traum aus 1000 und einer Nacht. Ebenso die Preise für die Getränke. 12 Euro ein Bier ist schon heftig. Wasser gibt es im Zimmer und am Strand umsonst was richtig toll ist. Tee kann man sich auch machen. Leider ist auch kein kleiner Supermarkt da. Muss man sich aus der Mall mitnehmen. Wir nehmen immer Halbpension und daß ist gut so.

Had a lovely anniversary and the hotel was outstanding, room service was fantastic and friendly and everyone was always being very welcoming would definitely recommend the deluxe Arabian suite! Will definitely visit again:)

There was unpolite staff at the check in desk. One was free and he told us he would help us. After 5 min another staff member helped us, the first one just ignored us. I told her that I forgot my ID, but had a copy on my phone that I could email her. She told me that she needed the acutal ID because it is policy. Since I did not have it, I had to cancel my reservation, they did not apologize or look for a solution.i was not allowed to go into the hotel.

Its a excellent place with amenities. Great service by the hotel people. Fantastic ambience. I would recommend a must vist property for atleast one night stay atleast in dubai.

Nothing really to say except for 20/10. Stayed here for 4 nights as the last destination of a 5 week holiday. This ended my trip perfectly. From the extraordinary service throughout all staffing sectors, to the cleanliness, to the amnetities. I could search all day and not find one negative thing to say. See you next year.

Would never stay here again. Very far out the way! They've changed the half board so you are stuck having to have dinner and not a choice of dinner or lunch. Most restaurants you have to pay a supplement as well. Complained to manager who did nothing to assist. Then whilst asleep on the final night upstairs on the hotel they charge my credit card. Have charged me for someone else's bill of £780! I've emailed and been ignored, yet they filed a response to my credit card provider trying to say was my charges! Disgusting! Do not visit!

This hotel is really nice. The pool area and the beach front are spacious and so are the rooms (or at least our room). All the furniture and equipment is new!
The breakfast buffet wasnt the biggest I 've seen, but still the variety and more importantly the quality was more than adequate.
During our short stay we visited the gymnasium. It left us excellent impressions. Small, but fully equipped and very clean. The machines are provided by technogym and looked brand new.
The food was excellent!
Only one minor complaint I have with the service during the check in as it took them quite some time -for no good reason if you ask me- to check us in and then we had to wait for more than half an hour in order to get to our room. However, I have to note that after expressing my complaint they immediately upgraded us to a junior executive suite (or something similar) which was really beautiful.

Great resort which also accommodated for young children very well. Staff are efficient, kind and will gladly assist where possible. Rooms are spacious and clean and provide adiquate room for the majority of people wishing to stay there. The swimming pool is well shaded in places and has a literal army of life guards allowing total piece of mind when you're with kids. There is also a kids pool and club so if you need some quiet time away from the kids it's possible.

We didn't try all the various resteraunts on offer and mainly stuck to the imperial buffet which had a huge variety of food which was changed on a daily basis. Staff are on hand to assist with dietary requirements and allergies and notes are available to the staff serving you and again, always willing to assist or go the extra mile.

Only negative point about the entire hotel stay was the lack of slip proof matts in the marble floored showers, which was likely a hazard to most and certainly the elderly and kids, yet staff still rectified this on request.

Some may complain about the resort being a distance away from some attractions but frankly, Cabs/Ubers are so cheap the location is well worth it to get away from busier areas.

My only advise would be to take a half board board package if possible.

Would certainly stay again.
