I was expecting Afghani food but instead 90% of menu was Pakistani food. The food wasn’t nice and I would not be returning here and do not recommend this place… it’s misleading with the name and the service is terrible with rude staff.
Bad service, they gave us the wrong take away and won't apologize, refund, exchange or deliver.they simply refused.generally food is good but this time the mutton palak had no meat only bones.its a rip off!
U can get an authentic afghani taste in their food, service is very good, staff is very cooperative and nice. Its a must for people who are searching for afghani food in deira.
Very good non vegetarian food you will get at this restaurant. It is slightly inside the market, but well known. You can keep asking and reach the restaurant. Sitting place is also very nice. We were a group of 7 people. They gave us a separate cubicle kind of sitting area with matress where you can comfortably sit and enjoy the authentic taste of their food.
Today we want there with our family. Taste is not good and environment also not clean.see the picture lot's of flies.even you can see in pictures sitting up food never visit again thank you.
We will not differ from the quality of the delicious Afghan food they serve, but their treatment of customers is not good (I say this from several experiences)
It was not as good as it has been advertised. Although the ambience is good and seating arrangements are also amazing. But the food lacks that Nick which is available in Afghani food. But still it is good enough for 4 Stars. But Biryanis are not their forte
Good Afgani resturent, they have many different type of dishes. Chicken and Mutton pulav with real afgan taste. It's only 15 for chicken and 17 for Mutton, it may eat two person and good taste. Their rotti also really nice. They have beef chilly like Chinese taste. And they have much more different dishes
The quality seems to have degraded in the recent years. Tried their Pulao with Chicken Tikka and 1/2 Mutton Karahi. The chicken was a bit on the drier side and rice not that flavourful. Even the Mutton Karahi was just average, maybe good for AED 20, but definitely doesnt justify the price tag of AED 38 considering similar restaurants. Also, the bread / rotis we got were not straight out of the oven, so that didnt help with lifting our moods either. Update: This review is for the Naif branch in Dubai
The food tastes as good as the toilet. There was no hummus, no tomato's we could order. The fries looked older than my grandfather. The interior was beautiful and drinks were cheap. The only positieve things.
Visited around closing time, so can't give any good or bad review. Would advise to visit at least two hours before closing time. Good sitting arrangements for family though it's located near Naif Souq.
Went Kabul Darbar yesterday, location was hard to find and no parking as it is in very busy market area, I was amazed to see the docor and the food quality was amazing. The staff complained about the management as when we requested to edit the food order the staff was not able to do that even after placing an order after 1 minute.
Very bad manager Deira Br. He needs to learn manners and customer handling. If I was owner of this restaurant I would keep him in kitchen only. He should be sent to school to learn basic manners first and then hospitality.
Always want to get back there for authentic Afghani Polaw. Good place, well maintained, polite staff, competitive price, best value and options for the meat, bbq, kabab, rice and polaw. Every time tasty, every visit and every visitor who accompanying me was enjoyed with this place and kitchen. Well done Kabul Darbar team!
