Kairali - Kerala Cuisine

Great Indian food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. The butter chicken was outstanding and I’m told the prawn chetty was even better.

NOT A PLACE TO VISIT.

I visited Kairali - ramee rose hotel at barsha heights with my family on sunday and my experience was the worst i ever had. The food here is very expensive and the behaviour of the staff was very rude. Even when we complained about this they just dont care. My rating 0/5.

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Kairali by Ramee Rose hotel and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare.

Me and my family want to have some Kerala dish. The menu seemed to lean more towards North Indian. We asked what they can serve as Kerala dish. They said they can provide Kerala Biriyani.

When they served the food, we realized it was not Kerala biriyani and when we enquired they were arguing and behaved in a rude manner.

The food we consumed from there not only tasted appalling, dishes which left us puzzled and unsatisfied. And the most unsatisfying thing is they were not even providing water without asking.

My hope is that my review serves as a warning to others. Stay far away from this place if you value your health, money and taste buds.

The overall food is very awesome specially the Prawns biryani is very yummy.
Also the staff is very good and co-operative specially Indira.

Please do not visit this restaurant if you care about your health - there are cockroaches everywhere even near the food. The restaurant managers response was that "dont worry there are only a few"

They also do not take good care of their employees - we have raised a complain to Dubai Municipality - hope they shut down the restaurant soon.

Special mention to Manju and the team. Always a good experience here with the lovely ladies and service is on point!

Its a nice family bar.valet parking is available.happy hours are available.zomato pro is available.food is tasty and good.quick service.prices are reasonable. We ordered kadhai paneer, gobhi manchurian and butter naan. Curries were good, well mixed with spices.

Need to improve in hygiene. Was loving my chicken until I seen 3 cockroaches roaming on floor, as if they are for evening stroll.

I am coming Kairali since 2017 and it’s my utmost experience about this restaurant mainly family atmosphere and I specified named Indira, she is really too friendly and managed the show without any pressure …. Ultimate this is not a restaurant for me, I looks like this my home as all the staffs are too good in terms of their behaviour and polite manners. They are considering me like a family member. The food they serving is the best in dubai as per my opinion.

Delicious onam sadhya in tecom. Traditional Kerala cuisine. Authentic kairali ambience with traditional values. Hang out with friends and colleagues, you have a bar attached and match telecast too. Don't worry about the pricing. They are still pocket friendly and also they give Zomato pro discount. Don't get fooled by the hotel ambience. If you savour traditional Kerala dishes this place is worth a visit. Try their lunch time If you don't want to have leisure non- noisy and pampered customer service. Last but not the least, Naveen was good at helping you out, coordinating things. Even he is busy at the restaurant he loves what he does and ensures all his customers are taken care. Even on the busy onam sadya lunch, he managed to give us a secluded table for our team and took care well to keep up his commitment.

Indian Cuisine - Value for money. Live counter available in the evening for Appam. Drinks aren't expensive. Before billing inform the waitress in case you are using Zomato Pro for not to lose on the discounts. The basement parking is available.

There was a fire in the next building, they asked us to pay the bill and evacuate half way. However, we returned another day and explained the situation to the manager and he helped us sort out our issue. Big shoutout to Navin. Thanks buddy! Oh and by the way, their food is out of this world. Definitely recommended for good Indian/Indo-Chinese cuisine.

One of the most overrated/overpriced Kerala restaurant around Tecom. I went there twice and my experience was horrific.

1) First I went to eat kakka ularthiyathu - to my surprise when they served it was not kakka (clams) and what they gave was kallumakkaya (mussels) - as per my understanding both are different. Lets say I'm wrong - then too the curry was so bad that we couldn't eat it full - there was just some kallumakkaya (mussels) in a tomato curry with 1kg chilly powder flavor. It cost us 40 (approx - Price is fine if it tastes good). And trust me guys the porotta was so bad and it just felt like eating frozen porotta.
2) Coming to the most interesting part next was their happy hour - normally a beer cost you 35 and they reduce 5aed and call it a happy hour (beer is for 30). I would rather go to good fellas and rock bottom above (same building) and pay 40-50 buckets and get 2 beer during the happy hour. Half of the dishes doesn't have a good taste, highly not recommended.

Delicious food, keep it up guys and girls, if I want to eat Indian food (Barsha Heights) you are the only place where I will order from.

Chinese Chicken chilli Gravy and Kerala Porotta. Chicken chilli had no chilli, very bland. No spice. 0/10 people should try this dish.

I ordered 2 beef fry and porotta.
Bee fry - quantity is very low and beef was not cooked well. They packed two beef fry in one container. I thought they missed to pickup one box.

Very slow service coupled with staff insufficiency, although friendly staff. It's a restaurant with bar attachment, hence does not give a restaurant feeling. Prices are higher compared to a typical restaurant. Not a kids friendly place.

Very authentic and tasty kerala dishes, Good Ambience, Friendly Staffs. Good choice for food lovers and a must try if ur a foodie.

Worst restaurant i went in dubai. I went to this restaurant with my family to have dinner and it turned out to be a night mare. I ordered chicken tikka and it smelled and tasted like chlorine / ammonia. When i asked, the chef came and he said so many excuses and later offered another dish as complimentary. Service is also too bad. They kept us waiting for 40 mnts to bring water and glasses. Also i ordered chicken pepper and they gave me chicken stew. When i asked they told this is the pepper chicken they are serving here.

Went in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by everything practiced inside. Firstly, it caught my eye, even before studying the Internet, the place contrasts a little in the environment - it is cleaner, smarter, more pleasant) Inside, in American classics and in the kitchen and in small things. Portion size, steaks doneness, taste, adequacy of the staff, everything, even a little bit, exceeded our expectations. We didn't expect much, so we stayed!

Tasty food, but not Keralite taste.
I expected south Indian taste, but experienced north. But the taste and quality was amazing. Great ambience and vibe.
Calm and quite. Interiors decorated with traditional keralite style.

The food is very good here and the prices are very reasonable compared to the food and service. Lots of options on food and drinks. The service specially by Indira and Anitha is very excellent, you get the added help from them on the food you would like to eat. They are exceptionally friendly and make you feel at home. Good place to visit with family.

It actually takes a slight delay to get your food. But actually the food is excellent to its extent. And the staff are excellent

Always great food, drink and service! The food options are very South Indian and so is the theme.

Beware tho, the spice levels on average are quite high. They usually have offers on spirits too and apart from that Zomato Pro.

Definitely recommend a visit. A darker than usual place, so don’t expect something fancy - but definitely value for money.

Visited the restaurant for the 4th time today. Amazing food, good staff and service. However the place needs cleaning up and MORE LIGHTS please… 2nd time we found bugs/cockroaches crawling in the place which was disgusting. Last time as well we saw the bugs but kept silent as we thought it’s just an unfortunate one time incident. Now I’m not so sure of visiting the place anymore. It’s very sad as the food is awesome! Hope they would improve the deadbeat ambience and the cleanliness asap before the place goes down totally.

Tried onam sadhya.not that good food.no proper coordination in serving.waited more than half an hour.one meal aed 35/-

Ordered Onam sadhya as takeaway the previous day and collected on Onam day. Half the items are not there in each of the packs. The quantity is less than salt thats usually added. No Sambhar (which is basic) in any of the 3 packs.
Most pathetic. Never again.

Good calm place to chill nd relax.my go to food would be chilli fish and then appam and fish chatti curry

Best place to relax by seeing football match with a glass of wine. It is a kerala restaurant bar where they provides Indian and Chinese cuisine. Most of the dishes are delicious. If you like Appam, this the best place. Some other dishes like kurathi kozhi, chicken stew, mutton Biriyani etc are very good. The bar is inside Ramee rose hotel, ground floor, tecom. Highly recommended!

The food was not good, the place was smoky, the waitress was not patient, but the food did come out hot.

Authentic Kerala Cuisine.particularly 'Malabari'. Enjoyed it during my Dubai tour.

Kairali is located in Barsha heights and is close by to Media Rotana hotel. They serve both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is open beyond midnight too. The ambience is nice and they have few seats replicating a Kerala home. Staff are very nice and polite. Prices are reasonable and one can have a full meal including starters and dessert without burning a big hole in the pocket.

Kerala Restaurent with drinks, should try their "beef ularthiyath" very yummy taste and big quantity for 2,3 people,
I have tried their "fish curry meals" many times, very taste sides

Really pathetic food, bad management and over priced food. Had gone for Onam yesterday to this restaurant and the items what they told was 20+ and what I got was only 11 items. Didn't even get a glass of water to drink and charged 35 aed.
When i escalated this issue to management they told they will look into it and nothing happened.
