Kamat Vegetarian Restaurant

In the heart of JLT and with outdoor seating as well. Our go to for chaat, snacks and their famous veg biryani. Parking is best done upstairs.

Food was okay. Rasam was actually nice but sambar, idli etc were average and served cold.

Service was okay but I am pissed that they couldnt manage to accomodate a small request. We had a kid (4 years) among us who wanted something from outside. But despite asking and requesting multiple, they could only refuse.

All in the name of management policy. Eventually we had to leave and go to the other place. A classic lose-lose situation.

Located in JLT, the Kamat vegetarian restaurant is located beneath a parking area. While it may be a tad challenging to locate on your initial visit, the staff's kindness and hospitality compensate for any initial confusion. During my dining experience, I opted for a masala dosa and a cup of tea, all of which fit comfortably within my budget. Kamat vegetarian restaurant is worth discovering for a budget-friendly meal.

It's very nice and calm place, and the food here has authentic taste but the quantity they give is very less mostly pav bhaji.

Very slow service. Dosa was also doughy and not crispy at all. They had only one chutney as accompaniment.
Even the low end cafeterias have 3 options of chutney
Filter was coffee was milky

Good priced food items for amazing quality. Thick tasty raita full of fresh vegetables. Stuffed paratha fresh and not to oily. Lentil soup of perfect texture.

Not to miss place for vegetarians. Especially South Indian food lover, Andhra masala dosa & dahi vada I tried, it was definitely worth. And their thali was good too with unlimited refill of bread choice, rice or poori, extra star for dessert in the thali which was droolicious.

Tasty vegetarian Indian food available here. Good variety of dishes and good service. Clean and hygienic place.

We had Chinese last week, our experience was disappointing. The Chinese food was ok ok.i feel there is quite some area of improvement.service and ambience though was great.
Hoping to get a better experience on next visit.

Kamat vegetarian restaurant in JLT, has opened in a retail space underneath the parking. I tried a Lassi and pani puri, having eaten at a lot of different Indian restaurants in dubai, I can say the pani puri is mediocre.
The Lassi though was on the better side.

Completely ruined the pani puri experience. They give a very tiny small cup of water with 6 pani puris enough for literally one piece of pani puri. Upon asking for more water they took 5 mins to get another cup and another 5 for another. Then in the end they said they don’t do the usual masala puri. Guys please give more water with pani puri like literally how is cheaping out on water helping your profitability but is definitely frustrating the experience!

Bad experience of take out too much and some staff don't know how to talk with customers

Amazing food with amazing staff! I love the food here plus it’s 100% Hygienic. Amazing service by Subrata, he smiled and entertained us time to time checking if everythings okay. Definitely worth to visit this store.

Place is quite Good But taste was not up-to the mark Orderd Pani puri, Puri Were getting leaked, Order for Masla Chai, While it's normal Lipton tea no more Masla Orderd Andra Dosa Which was No spicy, Order Mysore Dosa No Sauce in Dosa

We visited Kamat restaurant first time. It really leaves an impression to visit again.
The tastes, the food garnishing and the speed service and that all concludes with an excellent impression on us. We will surely visit again.rates are also budgeted.
It was a finest dining we experienced.

Well, we had visited several outlets of this restaurant during our trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It serves one of the best vegetarian Indian food.
We always liked dining in at this restaurant. At this outlet we had Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji Dosa, Paneer Makhani and Butter Roti. The food was delicious.
Also, the ambience and the staff here is very good.

It's a clean and well maintained indian/ Chinese vegetarian place. They serve good range of South Indian, North Indian and Chinese cuisine. They are moderately priced with good service.

The restaurant manager ie the person attending guests who is waiting needs to first learn how to behave to a customer.we absolutely did not like the way he behaved today.

Food is good, but if you are ordering online, be careful. They delay the delivery with out notifying and you food will arrive late and cold

Food and service were both good. We had ordered, pani puri, sev puri, chana bratura and jini dosa and ganga jamuna juice

Kamat is the ultimate paraside of vegetarian food in Dubai. Especially we are vegan and almost 80% of the dishes can be made vegan with ease. Ontop fo this, we don;t eat garlic as well and there is no problem to avoid garlic in the preparation since they make most of their items fresh. Highly recommend!

Amazingly perfect flavored taste. Must try their veg sizzlers, unique way to serve in a cabbage. Sev puri and chilly cheese toast is yumm. Will end with falooda. Five star rating. Their hospitality is kind. Especially the one who served us Mr Sanjay was quiet helpful with dishes to be tried.

Dosa is jus like newspaper, better I could a news paper in the chutney and sambar which would be more tasty than Kamat Dosa, and to my bad their kaju Katli was stale, no way nearby to the word freshness, this is wat we experienced in their ibn Batuta mall which was very recently opened…. Biknerwala was the best vegetarian option, ate number of times, never going back to Kamat again, the person at the counter is so lame in etiquette

I always go for Thali is the best option for a quick lunch it reaches to u in no time. The verity is awesome. One thing I would like them to consider is the smell of the hand after you have the food it stays for full day wonder why. Forgot to mention the service is outstanding and the value for me is really good i had it for 37 with my fazza discount card

Great Indian place for pure veg fare. The thali is too good at the price point and so are the South Indian selection. Friendly service with generous servings with a nice desi buzz. Hygiene maintained

Good ambience. Food quality is excellent. Didn't like tomato soup but hot and sour soup was excellent. South Indian delicacies were yummy.

Great team at JLT branch. Amazing service by all the staff. Food was outstanding, loved every dish on the plate. Well coordinated team between the chefs, servers and manager.

First time the experience was great. Second time none of the ordered items had any taste, when complained they did not changed anything and gave 10% discount which is also available on zomato pro. Really disappointed on the second occasion.

My everyday favourite place to eat food without onion and garlic. They have all dishes without onion and garlic. I am blessed to have this restaurant next to my house and they are very clean. And humble staff.

We loved the food in Kamat. We tasted French fries, Gobi manchuri, poori, masala Dosa, butter naan. Don't miss the matka kulfi Or kesar kulfi.

Went for Breakfast few weeks ago, Vada, Sambhar, Chana Batura was not really up there in terms of taste, lets say its didn't make the cut for me, no complaints to their service and cleanliness though.

Kamat at Jumerirah Lake Towers is love ️ The food is incredible, ambience is good and also the staff is lovely! This is a must go-to place for vegetarian Indian Cuisine ️

We went 18 peoples. Worst quality of food. Kamat Restaurant location is good, But Food is not good. Waste of money. Its a very bad experience with Kamat Restaurant. I will not advise anyone to go there for wasting money.

Veg Food was legit here, loved it. And dish prices are between 20-30 dh each. Very reasonable. It was packed when we went, so I am pretty sure I am not the only that thinks so.

Outstanding food coupled with outstanding service makes Kamat JLT a must visit joint. Ordered the Paneer Subzi and Veg Maharaja along with Rotis and then the Veg Biriyani.

The food was light and tasty, leaving us wanting more of it. A perfect end to the dinner was Masala Chaas, which the team took extra efforts to customize to our requirements.

A definite pat on the back of the service team for a great time we had.

I have order Thali with Puri. The taste of food from Kamat is just amazing. I am a vegeterian.so i can proudly say this is the BEST vegeterian hotel in JLT.im loving it. I just loved puri, bhaji, sweet, allobhaji, dahi, vegcurry of kamat.

Very bad services … unprofessional supervisor who unnecessarily tells us buy food and charge at the end.

Bad table service. Worst service I ever had for my wedding anniversary… never visit Kamat JLT again
