Authentic Lebanese restaurant. Nice indoor and outdoor seating available. Very difficult to get booking . So plan in advance . Food is good.

Sorry to say but having lunch at karam al baher was a bad idea.
For the money we paid, we should have got at least double the amount of food we got.
We were 7, we got 1 plate from each item!
It was honestly so bad and I don't recommend.

They maybe need to apply the “karam” concept.

Beautiful location, did not need a booking. Waiter took the order, but we had to ask for the drinks (bottled water)! The starter took a timer to come, but was delicious (garlic and butter sea bass bites, served with bread, lovely. The main course came as we were eating the starter! One was excellent, chicken, but the fish curry was very disappointing, it was more like a fish soup, there was no curry flavour at all! If it was served as a non-curry fish soup it would have been lovely. The waiter did not return to check on us.nor, did they ask if we wanted desert or coffee! So, we asked for the bill and left. Very nice location, fresh produce, but somewhat underwhelmed

The service was very bad and very rude, they asked me to change the table while I was drinking my coffee to give it to other people!

Food and atmosphere were amazing. Service was bad. Too many times waiters have visited our table for food review. Waiter have taped my phone for payment without permitting him to do so.

We visited the restaurant many times the atmosphere is very quiet nice and classy especially in outdoor area they have a very nice view regarding the food its over priced seafood items like fish and shrimps are excellent except calamari provençale not tasty at all and salads also nice but for red meat and chicken grilled items are under expectations and not tasty at all for raw meat as well.soups are good the service is good and they are generous as they offer fruits and arabic sweets for free.

I had Iftar here, set-menu for 140 AED per person,
appetizers are good, main course is average, and service is excellent

Visited the place with my family, and our waiter Tarek made our evening great. He was very accommodating and friendly. His service on our table was prompt and I recommend him to you when you happen to visit the place

The best restaurant we have been to during our visit to Dubai when it comes to Lebanese food and fresh fish dishes. The hot and cold appetizers were out of this world. We picked a fish (Hamour) and had them grill it for us. It was unbelievable. The staff were attentive and provided personal and friendly service. We were surprised by being offered free of charge of plate of fruit, a dish of Kunhafa, and mint tea. It shows the hospitality and the generosity of the Lebanese people. Thank you for an memorable experience

Food is not bad
Service is not good, and some of the waiters don't understand English well.

Tonight we had a corporate dinner for around 30 or more guests who were the owners of leading printing industry. Food & ambience was ok but the service was terrible. In fact one of the staff member was so rude with one of our customers that when he requested him to take a group photo, he simply replied: “wait, not even a please & left & never returned back”. The owner of the restaurant must train their staff to be more polite otherwise there’s no shortage of good restaurants in dubai who provides super service.

I put 2 stars for the location and food taste
But i had the worst experience…i had guests from out of the country and the staff convinced us to take the set menu with seafood and we insisted that we want a generous table that reflects appreciation to our guests
The worst thing was the main course
They literally placed 8 pieces, one for each guest…eight shrimps, 8 lamb chops etc

When dessert arrived it was so little;
Six slices of watermelon, 8 pcs of halawet al geben, and 8 pcs of Arabic sweets

When we complained to one of the staff he simply replied that this is what they have then he said why you didn’t order more! And he ended it saying you didn’t agree with me at the beginning (meaning that we ordered from another staff memeber)

They sold us lies to take the set menu guaranteeing that it will be fullfilling and they made us look small in front of our guests

This is not the generosity i usually expect and experience from a Lebanese restaurant

Best place in Festival city, espessial in UAE National days or government holidays! Here awesome everything! Second time came here and again staff very friendly and find great table in full busy day for reserving. Awesome place! Will return here again in future!

By all comparisons the food here is exceptional, but something is wrong in wonderland. The first time I went for lunch, I noticed the slow service. I got their attention by speaking Arabic. I took notice of a west African couple in the table at the far end from me. They were there ahead of me and were not yet served. I thought nothing of it.
The second time (yesterday) I took my sister to sample their delicious walnut crusted sea bass. It was lunch time, and had to get back for a meeting. It was empty, but took 10mins to get their attention. I was ready to order and the staff member (non Arabic speaking) said he had to call the waiter. We waited and waited.with a waiter I recognized from my previous trip declaring his love for the chef by the service station in Egyptian Arabic (only to give you a visual. Never looked in our direction.
I actually grew up in Lebanon and know what Levantian hospitality is. The fact it seems, and you can tell from the reviews, is that Karam (genorisity) only applies if you are light skinned. We "uncivilized" type don't seem to warrant their attention. The landscape in Dubai is changing and perhaps they don't like it.perhaps. The owners, whom Im sure don't subscribe or agree with the behavior of their staff as described need to pay attention.
During my stay at the Intercontinental Hotel, it seemed that half the outside guests were from Africa. Perhaps that is why its empty.

Great service, delightful Lebanese food. The mezzes ordered were all tasty, the hummos, the tabouleh, the stuffed wine leaves, The grilled hamour fish was juicy and perfectly cooked. The touch of Lebanese hospitality offering complementary fruits and Arabic sweets was well appreciated. Thank you

Not for families. Beautiful terrace but cannot sit with kids because only smokers allowed. Interior is tight, busy, noisy and too bright (food court style). Staff is not very helpful

Unprofessional! We went for dinner, the waiter serving us couldnt even understand basic english, didnt offer a baby chair for our 2 year inspite of asking. Didnt serve us the main course and kept asking us to wait and we had to finally walk out of the restautant, The so called manager also doesnt care and he said we were seated at the end of the table and hence they missed us.really? ! I hope the management takes this seriously so that people dont waste their time visiting this place and be treated so disgracefully!

ماحبيت ابداً تعاملهم من اول مادخلت المطعم كانهم من زمان مو مستلمين رواتبهم و ونفسيتهم تعبانة على الاخر! لا اسلوب ولا تعامل ولا استقبال يعني شوي ويطردوني! اول مره ادخل المطعم هذا واخر مره كنت بالمول وطلعت اتعشا وكل احد فيهم اسوء من الثاني في التعامل! انصح صاحب المطعم يشوف موظفين المطعم او مدير المطعم اجتمع بموظفينك وكلمهم نصيحة لان مطعمك فاضي من ورى التعامل والاسلوب خليهم يغيروا من نفسياتهم وتعاملهم مع العالم لان من جد طاقة سلبية فضيعةُ! الله يعينهم على نفسهم والله

Really nice and beautiful taste, superb food and dishes, one of the best lebanese restaurants in Dubai. Must try. The mezza, cold and hot, are delicious, especially the hummus and taboleh.
The remaining dishes were also excellent. Not to mention the desserts at the end which were really amazing.

Went on sept 13 2021 with group of friends, the place is amazing overlooking the water, food is outstanding Lebanese mezza with nice twist, had the mix tawouk, lamb rib, fish fillet and grilled jumbo shrimp All was excellent

For dessert got mafroukeh recommended

Their caffe latte did the job perfectly

Karam Al Bahr is a cozy place. We enjoyed the Paella and Mixed grills here and the view is also amazing! A must-visit restaurant if you are in the area. We also discovered that you can take an abra from (and to) via (near) Jadaf Metro which is not known by many. We will surely come back with more friends.

One of the best restaurants in Dubai festival city at intercontinental hotel with Lake view and dancing fountain. Very delicious food, amazing atmosphere and cozy outdoor seating. Highly professional staff and very affordable prices

- Delicious Food: highly recommend octopus provencal, bizree fish, kunafe. Portions are great, cost worthy
- Great Service: very respectful polite helpful staff. One of few restaurants in Dubai where they help you without you having to ask, and serve the dishes with serving spoons and forks
- They also offered delicious dessert, best kunafe I ever tasted in UAE
Overall great experience, fine dining at acceptable cost. Very nice variety of Seafood and even other Mediterranean food
