Katrina Sweets & Confectionery

Placed an order for a personalized cake. After some trials, final outcome was ok. I would have hoped to be more guided by the Katrina cake shop staff.
Cakes and Desserts are okay.
Communication is rather difficult which may reflect on the final outcome and customer expectations/ experience.
The Red Velvet cake and the caramel cake is highly recommended and they really did an amazing job with the personalized cake message the second time I placed an order.

First time tried chocolate cake and they just nailed it. Moist, balanced sweet, rich & thick and extremely chocolaty. Highly recommended
No sitting area, ideal for take away.

Variety of cakes and pastries. Specialy honey cake. While waiting for sweets u can enjoy some delicious milk shakes.

Ordered through zomato and my order was one hour late. They didn’t even know where the driver was when I called to check. They only said he left long time ago. They use they own delivery.

Rubbish service. Zomato showed they are delivering and is preparing the order. Restaurant kept on saying they don’t deliver at my location. So eventually food never came.

I was craving something sweet since morning yesterday and finally by evening, I gave in and decided to order some pastries from Katrina. Have tried their honey cake many times from various branches and loved it every single time. So I didn’t hesitate on ordering something else this time.

I ordered a Baked Cheesecake Strawberry Pastry, a Chocolate Fudge Pastry and a Pecan Caramel Pastry.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that all the three were hands down too good. You have to try them.

The strawberry cheesecake was smooth, not overly sweet and also had lemon zest for that tiny bit of sourness, sweetness and sourness were perfectly balanced.

The pecans on the pastry were crunchy and excellent. I could just have them all day!

The chocolate pastry too was balanced in terms of sweetness and chocolatiness.

Ordered through Zomato at 8: 52pm, now 22: 12 don't know where is my order, nobody picks up the phone, I don't know if the order will arrive. Really disappointed

Bad costumer service at Barsha Mall. Sales person went for 1 hour break, but after waiting she not returned on time

We ordered special cake from them for our company event and the design of cake was very unpleasant, so simple and unattractive. We contacted Katrina Sweets on this matter and asked them why the cake looks so unattractive and their answer was just - we are sorry. The cake was tasty but very unpleasant and unattractive design

Nice selection of cakes with great taste
Cookies and specially the cinnamon crescent ones are waoooo
Prices are little on the upper side but quality is great
If you are ordering on line be prepared for a longer timing for delivery (at least double) of what is written
Happened to me twice to the point where I wanted to cancel the order but the taste was good to cancel

Katrina Sweets & Confectionery stand/booth is on the same level and directly facing Union Co-op.

Here there is a relatively small part of a lot of what the brand offers (the bigger shop in Mirdiff is a true Sweets Paradise). Nevertheless, you will not be disappointed. Cakes are fresh, light well balanced and absolutely delicious. The staff here offered to add a message on the cake and are always very pleasant. Good value for money.

Tip: If you get overwhelmed and can't choose - Get the Chocolate Swiss-roll log cake. You'll thank me later.

0 stars for the worst customer service ever! We ordered cake slices around 7 and the lady told us that it will be delayed for 1 hour coz the delivery man is having his iftar. We said that's fine and waited for the cake. Around 8.15 we received a call from Katrina's informing us that the driver is on the way to deliver our order. After 1 hour, still no delivery! We called them and they told us that the driver delivered another order elsewhere and will be arriving to our location in 15mins. After 30mins of waiting, still no delivery! We called them again and the people at Katrina's kept telling us they will have the driver call us. We received a call from the driver asking us for our location and told us he will be here in 20 to 30 MINUTES! After the said minutes we called the driver to ask where is he and he was asking for our location AGAIN! The delay due to iftar is understandable for us but telling us the order is on the way and more than 2 hours have already passed and we still dont have the orders is just very unacceptable and frustrating!

The profiterole cake and Customer service was amazing. Cherry was on watsapp with me till 11pm helping me customise the cake I liked for my daughters half birthday. She was extremely helpful and helped coordinate between the head chef and me.
The cake itself was light, airy, not overly sweet and perfect. Even the lil frosting around the cake was delicious. This is my new favourite bakery. I also liked that they were extremely responsive when I watsapped them to confirm the order.

They never answer calls
And whenever we go we find the written paper sais will be back after 15min
They lady there is always away

It is the worst, employees are not trained how to answer the customers! Very bad service i tried it more than one time but unfortunately the same bad service! They told me that they don’t have enough stuff to answer the customers!
Is this for real! Veryyyyyyyy bad service and totally upset from this shop

Best bakery when it comes to quality, however prices have been increasing making it a tad expensive!

Got there at 22: 20 today had a sign back in 15 Minutes waited for her lady strolls back it’s 22: 28 and says it’s closed. Guess she only cares about her monthly Chq not the owners product
