Worst Service Ever in the Whole UAE. Zero Respect of Customers. Once they get the Customers sitting they just think that their 20 AED are in pocket and they keep the Customers waiting for their Breakfast until the customers themselves get frustrated and go. After 1 hour of waiting we were told that you should ask us for more things. Haha. Means they are least bothered for Customers. Will give them Minus Rating for Everything. Only good thing is Location.

I am a regular patron of Khau Gallup restaurant but the experience today with the food was terrible. I asked for PAv bhaji and the bhaji tasted as if it’s opened from frozen packet. It was served to me as well within 2 minutes of order placement. Then my wife had ordered Chinese platter which mentioned Manchurian gravy as one of the items. However when the food came, the Manchurian gravy was replaced with a paneer gravy. This was however changed after I spoke to the person serving me. This is a good restaurant. Please don’t spoil your food quality and annoy / distant your regular customers

Atmosphere is really pathetic. U will feel u r seating in desert n having ur snacks or food. Ac not working at all. Before u give order plz check AC temperature and then carry on.

The ac of this restaurant is never working. They have kept the coolers but they can’t beat the dubai summers.

Would not consider ordering from this place again. Opened my first container and comes out a fly gasping for air. When reported to the manager he was not apologetic and was ok with me reporting this to the municipality. I really question their hygiene practice. No action was taken by them.

@khaugallidubai has got an amazing chaat platter and unique menu for all veg & non veg fans.
We grabbed our favourite spot beside the lake and enjoyed the outdoor weather.
They are summer ready with refreshing cooler drinks, our favourite was the coconut sugarcane juice.
Well priced and enjoyed by the kids, this is definitely a go to spot for the families.
Trust us, the quantity is more than enough and value for the money spent!

Best winter food!

It is a nice restaurant in JLT. You can enjoy this beautiful weather by having food here. They have a desi setup outside with the view of water around.

I loved everything starting from drinks
1. Sugarcane juice
2. Coconut water
3. Chaat platter
4. Chole batura
5. Makkhi di roti with sarson ka saag
6. Carrot halwa
7. Jalebi with rabri

I never had sarson ka saag thinking its just a puree of leafy vegetables. But it was so delicious here. I am definitely going here agian. Let me tell you carrot halwa was the best one that i had till now.

I really don't know why they were charging this much food are really tasteless no salt and spicy.

Was really pleased to find this gem! Delicious vegetarian food & great selection. Cozy, good staff, reasonable price food. Very friendly people. Wish there were more places like this!

Very pleasure restaurant with beautiful area to JLT towers.
Meals were freah, they had good taste. They prepared it so fast.
Everything in this restaurant is without meat! But meal is delicious!
One small point it is little bit chilly, but for me it was ok. Maybe better asked before you order something if it is so spicy.

Be prepared to eat the best Indian food you can imagine and with every bite be moved all around India’s regions and tastes with added cuisines from the middle part of the world. Great to see them in Dubai

Firstly, there was a delay in delivery. More importantly, the Vada Pav was disgusting. Some of the potatoes were not fully cooked. The chutney for the Dosas was also really bad. Avoid.

Overall it’s a nice and colorful place to spend some time at. I went there with my husband and toddler. We got a table outside and there was enough space for the stroller.

The service was a bit slow. I had to go inside the shop to take our order. We ordered one aloo tiki Chole to share and 2 kulhad chai. Tikki Chole came pretty quickly and tasted fine, until a piece of a rubber band unleashed from inside the tikki. That’s why the low rating for overall hygiene.

Chai took 20 minutes to come thru but was good. I will recommend the place if you want to just spend some chill time. Check your food carefully though.

Brilliant Indian Vegetarian restaurant. Menu covering dishes from all regions of India. Great tasty food, excellent service and reasonable cost. Not sure why it says sweet shop as it has so much more to offer.

We ordered Khau Galli Special Thali. It consisted of Samosa, Papad, Aaloo Bhaji, Dal Tadka, Palak Paneer, Raita, Chapatis, Rice and one sweet. All the items were of very good quality and the quantity was sufficient for two persons. The rate was very economical. We really relished our food. Thanks!

Oh, I just loved their jalebi last time.and I am going to visit today once again since it's Diwali. I feel it's not fair to forget putting review when I had such a positive feeling and food was damn good. I missed my muma ke haat ka food when I ate sarso ka saag and makki ki roti. I totally recommend the plce. The area that u sit outside is beautiful and food is yummy.

This place is heavenly delicious for vegetarian lovers. This restaurant has such a great concept of serving food. Their walls are filled with Indian movie artists and you can enjoy the food with their catchy dialogues while having food. A perfect place for everyone who’s a fan of Bollywood movies.

The name Khau Galli perfectly suits this restaurant considering its vast menu. This place offers everything that one would enjoy in an entire Khau Galli (food street) under one roof!

With a bollywood theme, one would have a thrilling BITES, CAMERA, ACTION ride guessing the many songs, movies and characters drawn on the walls.

I tried:

Super tasty Chaat Platter containing dahi puri, pani puri, papdi chaat, vada pav etc.

Samosa and mixed pakoda plate

? Cholay Batooray and dosa

Bhindi and Daal from their vegetarian main course

Aalu kulcha

? Mango Lassi

I highly recommend this restaurant. Their food tastes awesome especially chaat items. In fact, @khaugallidubai offers the tastiest Chaat items I have tried till date!

I love to visit this place after shopping in the malls specifically when I am craving and Indian and Indochinese both. Their Thali is great and sufficient for even two. I love their Hakka noodles and Manchurian.
Best part they sometimes even customize the options like my son doesn’t eat onions and they customize even in mall.

Special Chaat Platter:
Platter consisting of Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Chana Chaat, Samosa Chaat, Vada Paw. It was one of the best mix chaats I have ever had.

Maggi:
One of their specialities, and the taste is definitely so different as we use to have it at home.

Oriental Sizzler:
Delicious, sizzling Veg Manchurian served with fries and noodles was showstopper.

Special Tandoori Platter:
Veg Tandoori platter - Mushrooms, Paneer, broccoli and Paneer Tikka was a yummy treat.

Veg Pizza: Who doesn’t love Pizza? Khaugalli’s veg Pizza was very tasty

? Coco-Sugar Cane: Fusion of Coconut water and Sugar cane was very refreshing and unique.

? Desserts:

Sizzling brownie with Vanilla Ice cream is my all time favorite, and it always doubles the joy of a great meal.

Khau Galli located in JLT is a must visit, particularly for vegetarians. You should not miss out their desi street style food, like masala maggi, Bollywood pizza, chaats, jalebi rabdi etc. Jal jeera and Bollywood sandwich were decent. Paneer tikka came in a train, and it looked super cute.
They have a nice outdoor seating area, so if the weather is good, it’s a nice place for some chatpata khana. Their decor is Bollywood inspired and neatly done.
Service was good, attentive staff who adds to the overall good experience.

One thing about the restaurant that I admired is the outdoor seating. The ambiance is well lit up and is good for a short cute date.

Also their choice of tables and chairs and cutlery stands is quite funky and cool.

The interiors boast of a colorful walls and remind you of the Bollywood movies and so does the menu.

We tried the chaat platter and their tandoori platter.

Chaat platter came with a mix of bhel, pani Puri, Dahi Puri, vada pav and radga patties found it to be decent for the price. Good enough for 2 to share.

I really enjoyed the tandoori platter which had paneer tikka, mushroom, aloo roll and tandoori broccoli.

Next we had the cheesy maggi masala which was really yummy also. Reminded me of the maggi back home.

Tawa pulao with raita is surely a go to dish for the those who must have rice in their food plate.

For those who love sizzlers, you guys are in a for a treat as it comes with a mix of rice and noodles with a main gravy and french fries. Also delicious and spicy.

The show stoppers for me were the mango cream and jalebi with rabdi as these are a must try at the restaurant.

They also serve kulfi sticks and ice gola (barf ka gola) and hence their dessert menu can please any taste.

Do not miss out on the mocktails such as aam panna or sugarcane juice or shikanji or chaas or fresh coconut water.

They have 3 branches in JLT, Ibn Battuta and MOE and is a surely with a visit.

Food and drinks were lovely. However, our waiter was slow in attending to us and I was given the incorrect change by him upon paying.

A Bollywood Themed restaurant serving a variety of vegetarian Indian food along with a beautiful view of the lake. I must say that it is one of the hotspots if you want to satisfy your street food cravings

Chatt Platter (Must Try)
One of the best chaat platters I have ever tried. It has pani puri, dahi puri, katori chaat and Vada pav.

Also had Khaugali Tandoori Veg Platter and Masala Maggie. It was the first time I tried these two and totally loved them. Both had an amazing taste.

Desserts:
I had Sizzling Brownie with Vanila Icecream and Jaleebi Rubri (Must Try). I love eating Jaleebi but with Rabri it was one amazing.

Drinks:
We had Mango Milkshake, Masaladar Soda Shikanji, Coco cane Juice (freshly squeezed). They were all so refreshing.

And ofcourse after every meal Karak Chai tho banti hai.

The food is alright.we ordered veg grilled sandwich and pav bhaji sizzler.there was very little bhaji and extremely oily.service was ok.the music was too loud.

If you are one of those person who loves desi veg Street style food, then this place is not to be missed at all!
Located at Jlt by the water side, gives us perfect ambience to enjoy this yummy food.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the interiors are Bollywood theme inspired.

What we Tried:

Chaat Platter - a mix of bhel  puri, sev puri, pani puri, Vada Pav. This platter was very filling and good for sharing with 4 people

Bollywood Sandwich - Was good but I felt it was a bit dry

Bollywood Pizza - Was Yummy!

Masala Maggi - The best, that it just brought out the nostalgia of the good old college days. It was slightly spicy and such a comforting taste!

Paneer Tikka - perfectly spiced!

COCO Cane Juice - Very refreshing drink!

Jalebi and Rabri - Oh my! Crispy jalebi, mixed with cold rabri, is such a match made in food heaven!

Everything was very beautifully presented and perfect to the taste.

Not at all satisfied with the service. I went alone to have to my dinner. I was completely ignore.

I didnt received my order till I asked the people for 2-3 times.it took more than 20 mins for the waiter to come to my table to take the order. And, another 15-20 mins for the bill

I wish they respond to customers promptly on time.

Khaugali have varieties of snackers, chats, sizzlers food options. I really love the ambience of the place, very colorful and outdoor seating is also Amazing to go for date with your husband. So next time i will definitely take my hubby to khaugali.

Starters
So we had Cutting Chai with Samosa got remember my sister in law @neelamsamir_, as we both go out for chai with samoosa.
Then the Chaat Platter, which was a love of my heart, I love the combinations, dahi batata puri And Vada Pav is my most favorite, still my mouth is watering.
Main course
Tandoori Platter was with paneer and I am fond of paneer with rose lassi give an immense pleasure to mouth. Then we had Oriental Sizzler this dish is seemed to be chinese style Noodles served with thick paneer gravy excellent combination again. Lastly in main dish we have Khau Galli Special Pasta very cheesy and creamy love the taste.
The Fresh Coconut Water also was served by khaugali.
Sweets
The Ice Gola (Kala Khatta) was so yummy just remembered my childhood days.
Sitaphal Fruit Cream was so delicious and love the way they made must be order next time.
Then we had Sizzling Chocolate Brownie which was the best if I compared with other restaurants. Lastly tried Jallebi with rabri this is also the best combination ever.

Khaugali has done unique concept on food combination with Bollywood ambience.

Good food surely sets the mood, but there could be no better way to end the year than a full-flavored street food.

A colorful, vibrant and a Bollywood themed restaurant located at JLT lake view, this is the best you can get! With varieties ranging from Chaat and Sizzlers, to North Indian foods, they will give you the taste buds experience which would remain unforgettable. The added factor - their beautiful outdoor seating area that is perfect for winters!

The? ? , which, was flavorful and being a first timer with Vada Pav, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The? ? Was equally palatable from, which, the Paneer became my ultimate favourite!

Being a Bollywood fan, I loved how the restaurant presented each detail with a desi feel, from its theme, to movie posters, and the colorful surrounding.

A perfect place for a friends hangout, this street food affair will be remembered for life!

So far my favorite Indian place in town (aka anywhere). We’ve come here 4 times the last 5 weeks, always really good food (quite authentic I guess), nice atmosphere outside with the lights, will be back soon again:)

I tried one time thali in this retaurant. It was damm bad quality. Will never again try. Sitting next to jlt lake which is filled with full of chemicals. These chemicals used for cleaning lake ever my 15days. Chemicals getting deposited inside lake. So, taking chemical smells and eating bad. It is not recommeded health point of view and taste point of view.

They Prepared a Healthy and Delicious food Amazing Place and Affordable Price I Love this Place come and visit them you will love it

Even the basic things are not to the normal standards. And even if you tell them they don't listen to it. I had the worst chai (tea) at this place. Told the people 2-3 times there but they never failed to disappoint you. Consistent disappointment ever!

KHAU GALLI: Located in cluster T, JLT serves some authentic Indian street foods. They have a lot varieties to offer on the menu with the dishes are uniquely named with Bollywood theme.

Our order included ~

~ Drinks: Started with drinks first.

• Masala shikanji: Tradition Indian version of lemonade. The spices or masala in this sweet and salty lemony drink makes it different from normal lemonade.
• Mango Lassi: It was thick, smooth and creamy with delicious blend of mangoes and yoghurt.
• Oreo milk shake: One of the ideal sweet treat and kids’ favourite.

~ Soups:

• Tamatar dhaniya shorba and Munchow soup:
Both were awesome. Tamatar dhaniya shorba was an appetising delight with flavour from fresh coriander. The hot and spicy munchow soup was perfect in taste.

~ Chats:

• Khau galli special chaat platter: A wooden platter in mini bed shape with pani puri, bhel puri, sev puri, charmur, vada pav and dahi puri. It was amazing.

• Bombay Veg sandwich: These sandwiches were spiced with green chutney, filled with fresh veggies, cheddar cheese and grilled to perfection. A must try.

~ Starters:
• Tandoori Veg platter: A huge platter with paneer tikka, malai paneer tikka, malai broccoli, tandoori mashroom and tandoori stuffed aloo. All of these were flavourful. I liked the malai broccoli and tandoori stuffed aloo very much.

~ Lite bites:

• Mysore Masala Dosa: One of the most popular South Indian street food. The dosa was crisp and soft with potato dish stuffed inside. The coconut chutney served along with it was very tasty.
• Cheesy maggi masala: Maggi cooked to perfection with spicy masala, garnished with onion rings, tomatoes and topped with cheddar cheese. Reminded me of my college days.

~ Main Course:

• Oriental sizzler platter: Paneer cubes and veggies in Manchurian sauce served with stirred fried rice and noodles accompanied with fresh fries on a sizzler plate.
• Makki di roti and Sarson ka sag: A wonderful combo and my all time favourite. It was served with butter and jaggery.
• Taka tak tawa pulao: Popular Bombay street food with rice and veggies sautéed together with masala, herbs and spices garnished on top with cheddar cheese. It had a lovely smoky flavour.

~ Desserts:

• Brownie with ice cream: Enjoyed chocolate brownie topped with ice cream on a sizzler plate.
• Jalebi with Rabri: This freshly made piping hot jalebi was delicious with Rabri. Jalebi was crispy outside and juicy inside.

Ambience was amazing with nicely arranged indoor seating with Bollywood themed interiors and outdoor seating with lake view. Some humorous Bollywood filmy dialogues were beautifully painted on the walls. The staff were very attentive and the service was top class. Highly recommended and a must visit restaurant.

Khao Galli or Eat Street is a pure veg Indian cuisine restaurant in JLT that serves street food as well as authentic Indian/Indo Chinese veg dishes. During the afternoon in current weather, the outdoor seating was amazing but they've also got some nice quirky interiors. A nice cup of tea here was really relaxing. This was followed by street food like this Dahi Papdi Chaat, the pav bhaji, maggi masala and in mains the paneer kadai was also delish. We also tried the aloo parantha which was average and a nice sizzling brownie. Service by the team was really wonderful. Overall really nice veg destination.

The food here is very good. The makkai roti sarso saag is very nice. I regularly eat the North indian thali here. The food quality is very good. Like homely food.

Food here is upto the chefs mood. At times it's amazing and at times it's not so amazing.

The server says everything on the menu is available but then comes and says sorry this is only available for breakfast.

JLT is known for its multi-cuisine options and they were perfectly right with a very authentic Indian joint with a bollywood theme. From the very famous Bollywood dialogues occupying most of their walls indoors and outdoors, Khau Galli definitely gets you closer to Bollywood. One would imagine the focus on a 'Restaurant' is lost with these fancy interiors but that imaginations can just be discarded.

The food is as great as the expectations it has set on you once you arrive at the restaurant, Welcomed by warm folks and making you understand the concept of the outlet we started off our task for the evening.

Started with some amazing Pani Puri served in a very unique 'Trolley', Priced at just AED 10/- for a set of 6 this is what the doctor ordered to start off our evening. We were a little confused on what to consume for starters and we decided to try the Paneer Tikka once again served in a very unique manner. The paneer was so tender and you could taste all the ingredients that went onto making this amazing dish. We also "Swad Se Swagat" (As they are addressed in their menu for starters) some Tandoori Mushroom which had it with some Romali Roti and some Tandoori Roti. We totally rewrote the tradition with making a main course out of a Starter. Considering the large portions we did not really venture into main course and straight away went to dessert.

From all corners the buzz was the 'Gajar Ka Halwa' for which we gave the nod, it was worth the hype and must admit for AED 15/- this was so much worth it. Lots of Lassi options and Kulfi's/Ice Gola but since the 'Not so dessert friendly' health condition that we were in we opted for the cutting chai.

Overall we consider the Khau Galli a 'Hidden Gem' and its very unclear as to why did not try this place also considering that we are just a couple of miles away. Highly recommeded!

Good set up, poor service, service staff is not courteous, food quality is moderate. I would not prefer to come back to this place

The food was so nice especially the panner tikka masala make it spicy to understand the real taste of the cuisine. The location was so near to DAMAC metro station walkable distance. The ambience is so good with overlooking jumeirah lake.

The dosa was a dissapointment as it was soggy to plate from kitchen - had wanted to try a new place for dosas but looks like I'm not coming back.for dosas atleast. Saving grace is the decor and outdoor seating which would be good for winter evenings.

Two stars are only for the appearance and ambiance. Taste was not upto mark. It's less than average will not suggest to go.

Pav bhaji Fondue is awesome, other street food is also good.we ordered rava masala dosa, sambhar was oily, dosa was good, aalu masala was norma and (need to be improve taste) quantity of masala must be some more.we ordered Makki ki roti and sarso ka saag, saag was too much oily, roti was ok that was thin like wheat chapati. I think that Makki ki roti should be slightly thichk.we suggested to the staff.
Interior of restaurant is simple and very nice, feels like you are in mumbai.

Ok type food, ordered pani puri and aloo vada, both are ok, nothing something great or satisfactorily taste.

Pure veg place.visit them for their dosas n Maggie.and of course cutting chai.
Yet to try their Pani Puri but have heard it's yumm

Wow, amazing place at Dubai JLT. With very good Indian taste and variety of foods. And interior is very catchy.

Great food at a great price in a great environment with great customer service. We had the Pauv Bhaji and Special Chaat Tray - it was delicious! Every bite was a party in my mouth.

Such a innovative ambience and tasty food There is outdoor seating arrangements also. Phulka were soft and best and curries were yummy too.
