My kid lived this place so that's what really matters! As a parent I was not blown away by it but it was definitely something great for the kids. The activities seemed to be pretty engaging and fun the staff was all nice and friendly.
This place is wonderful for children. I’m still in awe of how well thought out everything is. Children get to explore having different kinds of jobs and experiences. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are actually not too bad compare to other activities in Dubai. We will definitely come back!
Today we visited KidZania and unfortunately had a disappointing experience at the ticket counter. Despite having the Entertainer app, which we assumed would be a convenient way to access tickets, we were denied entry. The reason provided was that the person associated with the app had to be physically present at the counter, which proved challenging as Saturday is a working day for us. Our kids, accompanied by a guardian, were keen to explore KidZania and made sincere requests, but unfortunately, their pleas were denied. This inflexibility at the ticket counter significantly dampened our overall experience. We hope KidZania can consider more flexible policies for families facing similar challenges.
After all this when they bought premium ticket by paying extra amount hoping they can skip long queues unfortunately nothing like that.
We hope KidZania considers revisiting its policies to ensure a more customer-friendly approach.
Really great experience for the kids, good activities. But there are some downsides though.
-First I don’t understand why they charge around 80 per adult while there’s nothing for adults to do their? And they HAVE to accompany their kids anyways so why they’re being charged?
-The place was too hot you get really tired because of the heat, which really ruined the experience for us.
-Some of the staff looked visibly bored and annoyed and were very cold with the kids. But to be fare most of them were great.
I don't want to comment on it. There is talk of a children's playground. Parents should stay right out of the park.let the employees do their jobs. Thank you
For the management, very long procedure for entering and for passport, also not providing free locker for not allowed food. Also size the locker with different price if u needed. Adults escorting their kids should be free. The place nice for kids to play and learn many things.
Good idea, but it is difficult for children to know how, to check the banks, check their balance, obtain driving permits. Like such, should have free access to either father or mather for there support.
Marvelous! Our son, who's 7, has spent a whole day at KidZania. The concept is brilliant: A mini world run by children - from broadcasting a radio show to fighting a fire; from obtaining a driving license to simulting flying an Emirates airplane. In some attractions the little guests can work and earn local currency which they can spend on other attractions. All set in a beautiful environment with excellent facilties, along with the help of a very attentive, smiling and funny staff. You can easily see (and hear:) that the children enjoy a truly exceptional experience. There are so many attractions and activities that I'm quite sure no child will be left unthrilled. The place is beautifully designed and very clean. Highly recommended.
This place is just amazing a must do for any parent can easily spend 6-8 hours here. We arrived at 10am to get a head start before it’s starts to get busy and glad we did. Minimal Que times for activities making the experience even more enjoyable at the time we were leaving the ques were approximately 20 - 30 mins for activities.
I would recommend looking for discount codes etc, I personally used the emirates pass getting 20% off for premium pass which gives you a 20AED food voucher and 20AED gift shop voucher. The food voucher can be used at McDs or Pizza express. These activities are a additional cost to your entry ticket.
Good to see the children work and understand the value of earning and then getting to spend this in the department store on the way out.
Great concept on the paper but the place we visited was far from what is advertised and promoted. It turned out to be very expensive for what it is and I quickly left the place feeling ripped off.
1/ very pricy with almost 700 aed for 3 kids 2/ very long waiting time for any activity (could only do 3 activities in 2 hours). Surely 80% of the time the kids spent was about waiting in line 3/ kids are rushed to complete their activities 4/ many activities require extra payment which is obviously not mentionned beforehand and which is crazy regarding the high entry price 5/ the place is as packed as possibly can 6/ the place is very noisy and dirty with wastes lying on the floor 7/ exit is final, you can't go out to Dubai Mall for lunch or other, you have to stick inside and spend even more 8/ we all left the place disappointed, upset and frustrated
There are definitely places in Dubai where you can spend your time and money and have a much better time.
Kids rule the world at KidZania. Children of all ages can work, play and pretend to be adults for the day in this incredible make-believe town. With more than 80 role-playing activities and over 60 city establishments (including Heritage Village), kids are able to build essential real-life skills while having a great time in a totally safe environment within The Dubai Mall.
The adventure into adulthood begins as soon as the door opens. Arriving at the city’s airport with nothing but a boarding pass and their wage of 50 Kidzos (the Kidzania currency), they are set loose in the indoor town, with a little help from town 'Zupervisors'. Armed with 50 Kidzos, the little ones can head to the bank to cash their cheques before hitting the miniature streets to explore their dream jobs.
They can find work as firemen, doctors, police officers, beauticians and more. And after just a few minutes of being put to work, more money can be earned. That is, until the next career shift. After a hard day at work, kids are free to spend their Kidzos and treat themselves with a shopping spree, spa day or entertainment at one of the many establishments. After all, they’ve earned it.
The most amazing kids city in the world.gives kids so many awesome experiences that us parents wish we had as kids.exposure and learning and fun.so amazing
Crowded and no limit for the capacity even corona time, no arrangement for queue, long waiting time, all staff are rude, sure experience will not be repeated
Kidzania is the copy replica of a real life town where kids can do a role play and enjoy a full day impersonating real life roles. Albeit a bit highly priced entry ticket, the money is worth every penny spent. Once inside Kidzania, All the activities are free and kids earn kidzos for every role play. Being Doctor or Dentist, Delivering couriers, role play window cleaners to being a pilot and police detective. Firefighters to storekeeper.there are unlimited games and role plays for all the kids of ages from one to sixteen. Outside food is not allowed and the McDonalds within the premises is just reasonable. Normal timings are from 10 AM to 8 PM. Weekends timings are extended by an hour.
Overall a great destination worth the money and time spent.
Our family (kids and both parents) love Kidzania. The parents have a place to sit and relax if they get tired. I can even do some work on the go in there Parents lounge. Staff is AWESOME- The atmosphere is very joyful and our kids find great activities to do. We come here atleast once per month!
We visited back prior to covid19 and decided to visit again last week. It is very busy so make sure you do arrive early. It’s extremely educational for kids and I am very pleased with the way they are managing the precautions for corona.
Extremely crowded. Wait times for activities 15 to 20 minutes each. Some activities cost extra. For the price of admission that should be no extra charges. I would never come back to this again.
If your kid is around 5 then this place is a must.so many professions and activities to do. I would recommend going on a week day early morning so that you can get as many activities done as you can.
Need to hire more staff as the game take long time waiting the queue Some games have round like firefighters, amergency room They can bw always someone in the room while the another's in the ambulance
But we bought online tickets and we are standing in the very very long queue. I think it would be much better to make a fast separate queue for people who bought online tickets.
UPD. While waiting we asked staff man who asked us did we buy the tickets on the official site, then had a look at our premium tickets and said stay in the general line and I will call you at 11 o'clock. The same he told another people that took the very end of the queue. Nobody called us at 11 a.m. While waiting in the general line (during near 1 hour!) we asked about 3 Kidzania securities, they said no special queue for online tickets visitors. And only at the counter the cashier told us that there is a special queue for online tickets!
Been there only once with my 1.5 yr old toddler. The cashier notified us there's nothing for him to do in there, while on the website it specifically stated there's a baby play area. Combine that with the malfunctioning AC, this is my family's first and last visit.
Kindly arrange facility to collect the toys from stores before closing the Exit gate. We can see many children waiting to collect the toys with points they earned in front of the toy store, unfortunately store staff informed the counter is closed (9.00pm) but there was a long queue from the exit gate where people has to wait for long. We saw children became very sad after earning all points and they could not collect the toys which they have hardly earn by visiting each hub and spending time. We suggest Kidzania to extend the time or close the store after all members exit. People who visited from far place let's say (tourist) how can they come again and collect the toys, they may get chance only after a year, now for collecting only the toys again I have to visit? Otherwise no fun for children colleting points.
Good place to visit with your Children and they can learn a lot. Neat & Tidy atmosphere. Plan your trip to spend at least 5-6 hours.
The place is nice for kids, but it is very surprising how rude the staff is. They look extremely irritated, my kids came out of the activities wondering why the lady running the activity was so rude to them. They generally look very unhappy to be there.
Place is good for kids. There is a McDonald's and pizza place inside for lunch.
A day well spent. My son had so much fun enjoying every moment of it from a shopper to fireman. We visited Thursday and it's quite busy, but my son is waiting patiently in the queue, trying each of the activities full of excitement. He can't wait to come back.
The facilities are clean and the staff are so friendly. Especially the men. Most importantly kids have varieties of attractions and can learn to manage real responsibilities themselves.
Its my third visit yesterday, first two visits were in 2017. The main issue I have noticed -AC is not working properly, Overall HVAC needs some refinement.seems not cooling.
Many modifications were there, but couldn't see any improved version. Flight simulator (?) is no more a simulator, kids just need to wait for long time to get access, at the end, a simulation with out any control, it was just like a video play. In the name of Covid, parents are not allowed to go near the seats, so they are thinking that kids cant recognize what is going on. They must understand that new generation kids are smarter than them, as my kids could easily recognize that no simulation is going on. But in 2017, it was not the case. But other places like Antimicrobial lab, DJ, Pizzaexpress, were the few places where my kids got some enjoyment. Couldn't get access to space center as big que was there. Initial bank transactions were horrible, time taking with a que and confined space.
Amazing experience for kids. They loved it. COVID-19 regulations made it a bit hard.we had to wait almost 30 mins for admission.then at least 15 mins before each game unless we got lucky.i tried it before this situation it was remarkable.if you could delay your visit until everything gets back to normal to would be better
Dont waste your time.dont go there during covid.you will waste your kid time on waiting line.becuase of reducing number of kids for each game + no uniform as postoffice, or firemen.its not fun anymore
Nice facility but I wish they had proper area for toddler to play. Such a waste of money as my daughter could not play anything at all inside as their games only for big kid.
It is so good because it has so much adventure and because it has passports and it has so much games to play and it is like real life it has a polic station, doctor and so many factories
This review is going to be about the Nursery in Kidzania (Fun First Nursery). We sent our son for a month to this nursery. I must say: the hygiene is terrible - I would say almost non existing. Anyone is allowed to walk in with street shoes where small kids and babies are crawling on the floor and after put their fingers in their mouth (whereas in any gym is requested to change the street shoes before entering the facility). I'm wondering how in nursery it can be allowed where small children are staying with immature and vulnerable immune system. Their hand sanitizers are basically always empty. I question also the caregivers competency and professionalism. Mostly they haven't followed my instructions regarding child care. It's a pity because the nursery itself looks amazing and super cute for children.
Great funspot en 'learning centre' for children. Our daughter had so much fun, performing all sorts of jobs and earning her own money (kidzos). Especially preparing her own happy meal was a dream come true. It was quite busy, but there was almost no wait since there is so much to do! Price a little high, but there are regular discounts through third parties (Groupon etc). No need to pay for extra kidzos, the're almost worth nothing in the inside toy shop and you don't need them for the activities (except for a very few).
A really nice play zone that teaches kids the value of work and earning a good living. Kids work and earn kidzzos which is a currency and exchange it for gifts or treats.
The best soft play I've ever seen. Great project where kids get to role play occupations such as pilots, firemen, window cleaners etc whilst earning 'dollars' to buy treats. Fantastic concept and facilities. Highly recommend
Amazing place to take ur kids.they can have loads of fun and learning with different role plays.best part is parents are not involved in any activity.kids learn to be independent and enjoy being involved in different professions and get paid for that . Must go place for kids
Kidzania is playing Area for kids, Kidzania small city for kids, kids can play all kinds of games related to science, mathematics and entertainment. Kids can really enjoying too much. If you’re planning to visit this place you should go early to spend more time for more Enjoyment, Thank you
