Very nice dining experience in Kimura Ya Marina. Food is superb! We tried the BBQ wagyu A5 - fantastic.

Staffs are accommodating and attentive. They're all smiley faces.

Every branch of Kimura-ya has been a very good experience. The food is great and served quickly by the staff.

Food and services are great as always. Only the problem is that they play Western pop music in the restaurant. I really don’t understand this. I had to ask them to change the music. They changed to Japanese pop music. Why can’t they just play traditional Japanese music? It’s very disappointing.

On Friday night we went with group of friends for dinner. Me and my husband got heavy FOOD POISONING. All day we were really sick. It was my first time (my husband came second time to this restaurant).
Also after 10: 30pm service got very slow. To order something you had to wait for waiter for 20 min as them all were inside. Not recommend this place

Finally a good bbq place.we were initially disappointed because we couldn't cook our own food, but the staff cooked all our meat to perfection, everything was fresh.loved it and will definitely be back!

You need to walk through the hotel next to the pool. I order wagyu bbq but you have to eat outdoor due to smoke or else they cook for you. It is authentic A5. Kids half price.

Excellent quality beef (A5 Wagyu), authentic experience, and good venue (offers indoor and outdoor seatings), BUT kitchen/order management and service doesn’t match the quality of the food.

When an order of ice cream (discussed earlier for an occasion) took over 10 mins in 1/3 occupancy night, it was a disappointment.

Fresh sushi and tasty food with excellent staff service. Definitely recommended for Japanese cuisine lovers.

Dinner is actually great, really good selection of options. Went for the at table BBQ which has unlimited sides and included a few sushi options. Beef/chicken is as expected, but some nice sources/sides.
It’s not the cheapest though and for the price it would be nice if included a couple of desert options/ice cream

Simply amazing! I loved the food there. We had spicy salmon roll, tiger roll, the wagyu omelette and chicken miso ramen! And they have such a cute cat. Will come back?

The restaurant has good food BUT the ambiance is not very Japanese. There is a hotel swimming pool just in front (you should separate ambiance with plants maybe or Japanese paper walls).

The service is horrible. Many Philippines attending in total mess. Mixing plates, arriving orders late, forgetting orders and plates.

It’s a pity. You don’t need so many useless waiters. Have many, but synchronized.

I will not come back.

Good place for celebration very authentic, and delicious food specially queen roll and saikoro steak, they also have varieties of drinks that we really enjoy, looking forward dining again at kimuraya ️️️️

The prawn in d spicy seafood ramen is not fresh. Mushy, Chalky texture and hav funny smell this ruin d whole experience. Very disappointing.

Every food ordered was great except they got some of the orders wrong the first time we went but the next, they made it up

Extraordinary place! We came without reservation in pick hours Dec 30. One of the waitresses arranged an extra table outside of the restaurant terrace just to accommodate our family of 6. Wagyu beef A4 grill SUPERB! At the end free ice creams for children. What a treat! Strongly recommend and thank you for wonderful evening. Kamil&family

The food was fantastic! I will definitely come back again. The Shabu shabu was a great deal and the sushis? Its Amazing! Tha dragon roll was may Fav. ️️️

A nice restaurant with outdoor tables and a nice setting.
Food is ok, though I honestly expected a bit better. Maybe I'm not used to this kind of Japanese, but I found most dishes very fat, either greasy or too full of mayonnaise.
The bill is reasonable for Dubai.

Great branch of the authentic Japanese Kimuraya chain in the Dubai Marina/JBR area offering a la carte, shabu shabu and table grilled-meat-yourself to get your fill of delicious Japanese food (whether it's a Don or an AYCE feast).

The AYCE shabu shabu or BBQ grill offers seem to be available any day and time for dine in. Each set comes with a large and varied selection of savoury sides (including soups, appetisers, sushi, sashimi, fried dishes, rice and many more) to supplement the meat and seafood available. The focus for these deals seems to be the beef with a choice of Australian to Japanese A5 and premium Japanese at different price packages.

Being part of the Habtoor Grand Hotel, there's valet parking available. There's also indoor seating and plenty more all fresco seating at the front.

Regardless of whether you order by the dish or one of the deals, the food is authentic and delicious.

We saw the high rating reviews so we came for Christmas Eve dinner. I have to say that it was quite disappointing. The shabu shabu all you can eat is nice but 300 AED price is quite high. The sushi was definitely a disappointment. The fish was not very fresh and the most desirable Uni (sea urchin) was bitter. Total check for 4 people was 777 AED which was about $230 USD. The quality of the food was not satisfactory. The staff was very friendly though. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant if you like Sushi.

Not your typical hotpot set up BUT the food is great and their sushi is soooooo fresh and yummy. Great offer for their hot pot deal with a whole lot of options. Service is great too. Definitely worth a try. Loved it here

One of the best Authentic Japanese food experience we had in Dubai.
The fresh seafood and Wagyu beef was delicious. Head Chef and the team are also so friendly.

The best place where you can find authentic japanese cuisine in Marina. Me and my friends tried a selection of sashimi and nigiri which was really freshly made. It was i nice experience and we will love to come back and try other dishes of Kimuraya. Thank you for the good service and experience that Kimuraya offers to us.

We find the taste authentic. We took both the grilled and hotpot options. Yakiniku was really good. Service is superb!

A nice by the pool authentic Japanese restaurant in Habtoor. We had their on promo Unlimited A4 wagyu beef bbq and we had quite a good experience. The staff especially Belle are very friendly and accommodating. Their spicy chicken karaage are the bomb! We also had complimentary ice cream - matcha and black sesame, and all I can say is, black sesame is the new craze everyone should try. Will definitely comeback.

The only downside is the service could get a bit slow, prolly because it’s jam-pack.

I had all-you-can-eat Japanese hotpot, and it was pretty good. The meat and veggies were fresh, and there were six different types of sushi rolls, various marinated veggies, edamame, and sashimi to choose from the "side dish" section. I liked the variety although the sushi rice was overcooked and pressed too hard. The staff was friendly and overall, it was good value for money.

Went to this hidden gem in JBR last 06 June 2021. The food was great especially the Wagyu. It was absolutely fantastic. The sides were ok. We specifically liked the sashimi and the grilled sausages.

I’d like to give a special mention to Jam and Camille, for being a good host. And for making sure that we were getting what we need during our stay.

If there is only one thing I could recommend it would be to fix the AC in the restaurant. It’s summer time already in Dubai and it tends to be really hot.

Very nice pool side restaurant at the Habtoor Grand in JBR. Good ambiance and while pool side isn't an ideal location for this vibe of a restaurant, it just seems to work.

The food is authentically Japanese. Not super high end but more casual style and on par with the street food or quick meal places you would commonly find in Japan (which are significantly better than their western equivalents)

Service was stretched tonight due to the very high number of tables occupied with 4+ groups but the team was clearly doing its best. They were all very friendly.

I'd say this was a very decent and a good place to stop for a Japanese meal if you're in the JBR area.

I have visited Kimuraya few times. Their hospitality and service was great nice. This time, we ordered unlimited Yakiniku first time. Taste of Yakiniku was amazing. It was better than Yakiniku restaurant in Japan. Unfortunately, We are afraid to said that a lot of our food order and small request such as paper or something were missed. For example, for receiving one food, we were required to order 5 times. Anyway, this is unlimited offer. So you can try to ordered thousands times.
Finally, we would like to Appreciate to open Japanese Restaurant in Dubai. We have only few choice here. Thank you!

Their meat is to die for! The quality of the food is amazing. Of course I only go there with entertainer. Tried almost half their menu. It's a bit expensive but if you go there with someone who can eat trust me it'll be worth the money.

To try:
Unlimited japanese AT Premium WagyubBeef BBQ. It's 400 dirhams of unlimited meat and sides for two people (sushi and sashimi included). If you use an entertainer you'll end up with a 200 dhs bill each but the amount of meat you can actually consume is worth more than that.
The marinated beef and the loin were my favorite from this combo. Spicy edamame, tempura roll, salmon roll, california roll were excellent too. I'm more of a red meat person so I focused my energy on the wagyu beef.

Not to try:
Their chicken was not great. We ordered additional plates so we can try. The yakitori and spicy karaage were not up to standards and we couldn't really get past 1 bite.

The experience overall is great, the staff is generous and kind. The location is also great.

In a nutshell the best authentic Japanes resturansts in UAE. I went twice to Japan with food being the main focus of both trips. So I know a bit about Japanese food:)
Other reasons that makes this restaurant my new favourite Japanese restaurant in UAE:
- Great service, friendly staff (including the Japanese chef who came and checked on us and provided us with complementary dish).
- Great value for money. Actually the cheapest high quality Japanes resturanst in UAE I've ever been to.
- Generous portion of food.
- Indoor and outdoor seating
- Many Japanese people dine here which is a good sign in terms of authenticity.
- Take my advice and go for Japanese Wagyu BBQ menu. I felt for the first time in UAE that I have been transported to Japan for an outstanding Japanese BBQ experience.

We ordered the All You Can Eat wagyu. The meat was amazing especially for the BBQ option. But then sometimes the order comes quite slow, and they forget about our miso soup. I totally understand, because it was really crowded. We will definitely coming back for more
