I came in to have dinner and all the food was fantastic but the price are a bit high i paid 70dhs for 4 peices of meat balls and also the service was very good and I recommend you try this restaurant the food is so good but the prices are a bit high like they should be lower we are 4 2 adults and 2 kids and we paid 600dhs also the rice was like rubber and wasn’t cooked properly

Excellent dining experience! The ambiance was inviting, the service top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. A definite must-try for food enthusiasts.

Bad behavior on the part of the official as she did not allow us to sit at a table because it was for ten people and we were six! And the restaurant is crowded.

Great food, excellent service and warm atmosphere. We tried both soups mashawa and ash both were yummy. We ordered polani which was ok.
Kabuli palou with lamb, kofta skewer and chapli kebab were all delicious.

We had a fantastic dinner at the gorgeous setting at Mirdiff Avenue Mall. Our server Mr. Sherpa was a delight! We were very lucky to have him explain the dishes to us and the dishes he recommended were simply delicious and a great introduction to Afghani food (this was our first experience with Afghani food). For starters, we had the Botani Potato and Mantu delivered amazing flavours as promised by Sherpa. For mains, the Kabuli Palou looked as good as it tasted - simply flavourful! For dessert, Sherpa insisted we try the Sheer Yak and we could not have had a better end to this beautiful meal. Thank you Sherpa for taking us on this Afghani culinary journey, we would have been lost without you!

Amaaaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great; waiters are always so friendly and kind. The food is so good and prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food. I Highly recommended this place. I am definitely going back.

Ambience was good. Food was good too. Menu could be better with more authentic afgani food options

The food quality is top notch and very consistent. The portions are generous as well. I highly recommend chapli bolani and the starters. Service is good, not too intrusive. It’s a great lunch place!

Had been to Kishmish on this Christmas Day at 10pm with my 4 children but was denied a table due to “pest control” arrangements, as mentioned by the restaurant. This was quite unusual, considering that it was Christmas Day, which is when people prefer to dine out and enjoy with family. Hence, it did not seem to make sense that the pest control was arranged for this day. Furthermore, there were a few families already seated at the restaurant, which made the entire situation even more unbelievable.

So we went again yesterday to try the food and they recognised us after I reminded them of our Christmas Day visit when we were denied. Was given nice seating and was told this is normally “VIP” seating and we are offering you which we normally give to only “VIPs. ” Thus, making assumptions about their guests and making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

As I had my daughters friend who was turning 18 and we were celebrating her birthday, we requested if they could arrange some birthday song or just anything to make our guest feel good, but they mentioned they were busy and couldn’t do anything, though the restaurant wasn’t busy with 2-3 families dining. We had a dinner costing 748 AED and was given 2 dirhams short, which I feel is not professional, as they wouldn’t accept the same on my side. Moreover, after inquiring about the shortage, I was told they didn’t have change.

On the other hand, food was delicious and extraordinary, however, that is not the only criteria a restaurant should focus on, as there are other factors that hinder the overall dining experience and customer service.

Underwhelming and disappointing. I have tried authentic afghan food on numerous occasions and I can confirm that this restaurant does not offer it. The mantu tasted awful and the tomato sauce on top tasted like dolmio from the jar. Portion sizes are tiny for the price, this is not a fine dining establishment so it’s totally unjustified. Overall, food lacked flavour and authenticity. All style and no substance.

Excellent Afghani restaurant in Al Wasl - the food was delicious and not over-priced, and the setting very friendly and with loads if natural light. The grills, mantu, and lamb rice were perfect. Recommended for a weekend lunch with friends.

Delicious Afghani food and friendly staff. As it is Afghan restaurant it would be better to have some Afghan waiters as well, which I didn’t noticed during my visit.

I had first Experience in Kishmish by Having Yogurt Marinated Chicken with Rice it tastes soo Good! A Modern Spin to Afghan Food I will have it again by next month or month after

Superb authentic Afgan cuisine. Expect to pay about AED 350 for two people. The Mantu was absolutely delicious! The Salad was very fresh, and the juicy mixed grill cooked to perfection. Will be back again. Thank you to Olimatou for her welcoming smile and excellent service!

Ok, they have won a bunch of awards and is supposedly owned by afghani sisters. The restaurant has style and some vow factor, and that is about it. I found the food kind of average and not something i would want to do again. My afghani watering hole is Wakha Restaurant ️

A typical Afghani restaurant that labels itself as "Authentic" typically sells Kabob's, Rice and Bread. If you are not too lucky they will even throw in Hummus and Burgers into their Menu and sell it as "Authentic Afghani Cuisine". This is not the case with Kish Mish. Along with Kabobs, Rice and Naan they also have menu items such as Mantu, Ashak, Kitchree, Kourot and Shorwa, which are very difficult to prepare - I am speaking from experience. The only way you can cook these items, is through a labor of love and this is what this restaurant has accomplished. Hats off to the owners to 1. Creating a unique food menu that allows the visitor to take a ride through the sophisticated Afghan kitchen 2.a beautifully designed restaurant 3.a remarkable ambiance.

It was my first time in KISHISH and it was a good experience. Food and service was lovely. Everything we ordered tastes good from sides, to main course, to sweets!

DETAILS: Good place for family, and it wasn’t very busy. We ordered a variety of food and it reached very fast. Everything was perfect except for one dish, it was a little bit cold compared to the rest. We informed the staff and they apologized and immediately got us a new dish. However, there was another incident, there was a sticker on one of the vegetables. We told the staff about it and told them that we don’t want the order at all, she apologized. The manager later came and apologized again and said that they will add complimentary sweets for us. They were very kind and sweet which made us forget about the small incident that happened. They surprised us with complimentary green tea, rice pudding, and ice cream! Such a lovely staff, tasty food, and beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend and visit this place again.:)

Afghani cuisine with a twist. Friend okra appetizer was good. Open area with kitchen and cooking smell sticks your clothes. Friendly staff and accessibility measures are considered.

Can't say this place offers authentic Afghani dishes but it is pretty close.they got their own style of fancy Afghani food.tried different types of grilled beef and chicken.everything was really good.the sauces goes perfectly with the taste of the meat.the service was also a plus.expect the prices to be above your regular Afghani restaurants due to the location

I was at the kishmish restaurant was greeted by a nice lady. I ordered quabeli Palau. It's a brown rice with lamb, raisins and a side dish you can also order of spinach. I've been to Afghan restaurants before and I have to say the food here is really bad. The meat was salty and dry. It was suppose to be lamb, but it tasted like rubber. I ordered also a dooch but it was really watery. It didn't taste like the dooch that I've had before in restaurant. The other rice variations were not good at all. They had like an green rice (I forgot the name), honestly there was no Taste to it. My boyfriend ordered another dish called mantu which he didn't like either. He said the meat inside the dumpling was too meaty as if they didn't prepare it correctly. I expected dubai to offer more. Too bad

Kishmish has recently opened & I’m happy to report that there was a waiting for a lunch table on a weekday.this says a lot about a restaurant.
Now food wise being part Afghan myself I had went inn with high hopes and am glad I visited the nakhud, and the Chapli Kebabs all were done with perfection. What I enjoyed equally were the authentic dips/chutney & hot nans.
The menu is small and is a work in progress, this place has a lot of potential and is on the right track so wishing it success.
Oh & they serve pink tea!

I have been to this place twice and both times extremely impressed by their food and service. I’m not an Afghan but have many Afghan friends so familiar with the food and Kishmish represents the real Home made cuisine of Afghanistan. Definitely recommend it.
