BEWARE! They might not give you all the food that you have ordered for a take out. We went to dine-in and took one plate idli and roti curry. We liked the food so we took a parcel of one plate idli and single uttappam for the next morning. They packed so well that I assumed they have given everything. When I woke up in the morning and opened the parcel, I couldn't find idlis. They have packed only chutneys, sambar and uttappam. But they did charge for idlis though. Also confirmed twice from us. CHEATERS! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

The food is good here I have been ordering home delivery for many years now but there are only two things which I have to bring to your notice one is that quantity of sambhar which they give is very less. They literally give sambar in a chutney bowl and secondly they add too much mint to the chutney which makes it taste like toothpaste. For the price they are charging they need to improve this The only good thing about this restaurant is that the sambhar tastes authentic

Hygiene; I noticed none of the staff wear gloves here and tables are not cleaned well, once a customer done, the waiter just take one piece of tissue and wipe it off that's all, leaving all messy sauce scattered on the table, next time I will take the pic and post just for the reference.

In the kitchen staff of slippers and no gloves worn and the guy who serve the table does not wear the cap and walk in and put if the kitchen.which again is not good.

Dubai's secret little place for Dosas. It's a small place so there were people waiting outside. The fact that they were waiting encouraged us. We were righr. Food is excellent if you like hot, spicy south Indian food. We had thalli, dosa, lassis and coffee and the bill came to just 70 aed. Will be going again.

Not worth the money at all. There are many other places with such a good quantity and quality for the price they hav in the menu. Ghee roast was like a plain dosa, so so thin and small, luckily didn't order the plain one. So disappointed. Please improve the quantity and varieties.

Terrible place.a man on cash counter is very horrible. Teach him how to treat with customers.

This was one of the best masala dosa and Veda I’ve eaten… I’m so happy I found you. Potatoe curry on point. Sambar on point. I will try and visit next time instead of delivery. Best. You made my morning. Please don’t ever change.

Amazing south Indian veg food. I ordered podi idly, dosa, parota, vada and dhahi vada. All had authentic flavors made with fresh ingredients. I will highly recommend this restaurant.

The Mysore masala dosa is very spicy and does not taste any were close to mysore masala dosa

Generally the dosa has red or green chutney
But this had some bad spicy masala inside.

Customer service: 3 (definitely could have improved)

Food: 3 (only 1 dosa came out good out of 3 dosa varieties ordered). Medu vada is good but curd vada was pathetic.

Worst Restaurant, ordered at 9 20 AM and did not deliver until 11. When called he wants another half hour. This is repeat behaviour for a regular customer. Will never order again

Really too good

South Indian meals and healthy fast food - the idli and medu vada was very good. Recommended for a quick bite if you're used to the taste of South Indian cuisine. It is designed like an eating house/mess, so nothing much to say about the ambience. Service; like most South Indian eateries is quick and friendly.

Even though food is average. But did not like the behaviour of the manager. He keeps on asking customer to change their table whenever he sees a group of 3 to 4 people coming. This I noticed he did with a couple and also with me.
They should have some etiquette.

I just got back from this restaurant, and I had to write a review right away, Food was very good and amazing taste, just like home cooked food by my family members, I were craving a good south Indian food after a long time This hit the spot just right, The cooking master (i Forgotten Mr. Cook name) and Mr. Elavarasu both are amazing people and really handling the restaurant like our own home and like family members and thanks to all other staff's.

Food is decent if you're looking for a vegetarian South Indian cuisine. It's close to South Indian taste if not exactly the same.

They have a theme chatni for each day which means you'll be in for a surprise.
Try chilli idli if you like spicy+Chinese food.

We tried South Indian meals… sambhar is not so rich but the side dish is nice. Parotta and Salna is really good and recommended!

A small eatery but gives the madras vibes. Attentive service. We had bonda, baji, poori & aloo sabji, meals & coffee. Value for money.
Chutney & Sambar was madras restaurant style. Filter coffee was good too. Overall a hidden gem for tamil tiffin aficionados.

Dosa was cold wen they served and the taste was very okay. No one give attention to people calling or asking for something. I asked for extra chutney and waited all the while which never arrived. Very average taste and bad service. Wouldn't prefer again

Small place, limited menu, average taste except coffee that is great and a very warm and cordial staff. Good for breakfast for nearby residents. The food is actually fine though the chutneys are little diluted. Can try once a while

Nice little place. With good food. This place offers nice selection of items for breakfast, lunch n dinner. The place keeps it simple and serves well. Definitely worth a visit.

We dined at Madrasi Food House during our visit to Dubai for an event. Being a South Indian from Chennai, we were over joyed coming across this restaurant! Because, we missed our dosais, idlies and filter coffees dearly! The taste of all the dishes we had here were authentically Madras and tasted as though it was made at our homes! The staff were very friendly, particularly Mr. Nilakantan and Mr. Suresh. Would highly recommend this place if you love some good South Indian food.

Horrible service. For a house full of customers there is onoy one person to serve the tables. Food takes more than 35 minutes to arrive. Disgrace to the hospitality of madrasis, they do not even keep water on the table and we need to ask 5+ times. Very bad experience. Hope they improve. Taste of Food was just so-so, nothing special.

A delicious Dosa can do everything Better. If you are the one who loves South Indian Cuisine then I would love to advise tou to visit @madrasi.foodhouse once. A newly opened restaurant in @jltbydmcc serves Authentic South indian food. Simple Interior but their flavors are so amazing.

Each and every food item was very Delicious and tempting. Service was very quick and food was served piping hot. Staff was very polite.

Madrasi is a nice and cozy South Indian Restaurant in JLT. They serve authentic South Indian Food. Their Dosas are delicious and easily the best in JLT. I have also had their South Indian Meal. They have a great spread and what I love the most is their service. They kept asking if I want more Curry or Rice. Giving 5 stars for Service:)

Decent place. Your typical Shetty or Anna's joint from India kinda vibe. Good friendly people running this place.
Delicious food. Very Very modestly priced. An unlimited south indian thali is for only 20 dirhams. Good portions. Authentic South Indian taste. Clean - Hygienic.
Best place to eat South Indian food in JLT

If you miss your homely food and want to have authentic south indian with the best ingredients, then this is your place! Firstly the staff and the ambience is so soothing! I felt I'm home and especially when you are from Kerala and love varieties of south indian food! The dosa and idli batter is made with perfection! I haven't had this kind of fresh food before. Trust me. Even the owners and the staff of this place are so welcoming and down to earth. I'm glad I stay right opposite to this place and my breakfast is mandatory from here now. Their prices are so nominal! Like starts from 8 aed. And they also have special lunch and dinner menus everyday. Just have to leave your number to them and they will update you everyday on whatsapp. It's a must of you want some comfy environment and good fresh non oily food!

A Gem worth the wait in JLT. Not that JLT ever had a dearth of good restaurants but a good South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant was sorely missing after Appa Kadai appeared briefly and vanished away few years ago, but what a Joy to have one finally. A no Frills clean and modest Restaurant that serves pure wholesome & Fresh vegetarian food. Their Lunch Thali is a go to for fresh & reasonably priced food, other south Indian dishes are delicious as well Clean & Modest Interior of this restaurant is welcoming. Must Try.

Finally found a place where I can get food as close to as home food. Super fresh and authentic, south Indian vegetarian food is served here. I love their thali meals and podi onion uthappam among many others. Can't skip mentioning the very friendly and warm service. They Definitely won themselves a regular customer.

Very homely food, quick service with smile. Kids meal also available like Nutella dosa, cheese dosa, biscuit poori, fried rice n noodles. Awesome rose milk n milk shakes. Keep it up

Delicious vegetarian food as good as a home cooked meal. The chilly parotta, channa biryani and bisibelabath is a must try! I guess this is the only restaurant in JLT, Dubai serving authentic South Indian food.

The perfect place to go if you're looking for authentic South Indian food in and around JLT. The food is fresh and tastes great, the place is well maintained and hygienic, and the price point is great.

Wonderful homestyle food in an intimate setting, and probably the only restaurant in JLT offering authentic South Indian cuisine. They also have a few hidden menu items, so do check the specials they have.

A ghee roast and filter coffee has become my go-to food at MFH. It feels like home-made food and doesn't leave me feeling heavy at the end of the meal.

Most importantly, they have hidden menu items which are top-notch. Their chilli parotta and fried podi idly just aced the flavours and taste. Also, follow their Instagram page to see more of these delicacies and drool.
