Their cakes are good but support staff on WhatsApp is a total disaster. Very rude and unhelpful Heidi (Dubai Mall location), Please invest in training your staff.
Encouraged by the series, I went to visit a confectionery shop in New York. The place is not in my style, the prices are very high and the products are average.
The worst thing I bought in my life, it was a rock, not a piece of cake, no taste or taste. All the guests wondered about the bad shop that made it. He also did not adhere to the required specifications. I am amazed at the people who deal with him, please do not buy from him
No doubt their carrot cake is the best Ive had to date. But 40 aed for a slice is a bit much. Still, can't resist it and only have it on occasions. Worth it once in a while.
It located in ground floor in the shop Bloomingdale I mainly went for famous banana pudding which was top notch and ordered its large cup which is price 43 DHS EVERY ONE HAVE TO TRY THEIR BANANA PUDDING IF YOUR IN DUBAI
I’m a huge fan of their banana pudding! I always have the classic one, but last time I tried the salted caramel pretzel one and Oh My God it’s heavenly delicious you must try it!
Most horrible blob of cream that was supposed to be my father’s 70th ‘Lemon’ birthday cake. It was tasteless, no lemon in sight and expensive. My father did not even finish half a slice of cake, the quests did not touch it. Do not waste your money to order cake from this bakery. You will be much better off with quality from the Home Bakery. I am going to give the cake away today. Truly disappointing experience.
First photo: They delivered a messed up cake and this is not the design that i ordered! (As you can seen in the photo) How can i give it as a gift if it not presentable at all to think that i ordered it from Magnolia.
Second photo: I placed an order with the exact design and details. But when i received it the delivery, they gave me a wrong cake!
Tried messaging them in whatsapp but theyre just reading my msgs. Tried calling but they are dropping my calls.
The inconvenience they give to their clients are not acceptable at all!
This isn’t my first bad experience with them. This team and branch is very careless!
It was my first time ordering for a basic vanilla cake from Magnolia Bakery. And the frosting was extremely extremely sugary, almost inedible! Our guests also couldn’t enjoy the cake and did not eat more than a bite. Really disappointing and unexpected from such a reputed chain.
They have average cakes and really bad after-sales service. I ordered a caramel cake which was very dry and requested to speak to a manager or chef and haven’t been able to for a week now. I only went with them because of the Al Tayer inner circle card, and now I don’t think it is worth it even for a discount. Probably the last time i go with these guys.
You like pudding? You love bananas? How about both together? Gotta try the Magnolia signature banana pudding. Super smooth and very tasty. If you stop have room, try it the various cupcakes & cakes
Banana Pudding is my favorite dessert, theirs is good not great. Too sweet and packaging is small for the pricing. Environment is good and staff is friendly.
It’s the destination if you are a cheese cake lover. The ingredients are so rich and flavorful. This place made me think that there are much better places than Cheese cake factory. Well Magnolia sure knows how to make the perfect cake to win dessert craving hearts.
Terrible experience here. The cashier took two ladies’ order behind me when I was in front of them in line and he acknowledged I was there. It took maybe 20 minutes to finally get my small mediocre banana pudding and sit down.
Once I finally sat down, he proceeded to approach the two ladies and flirt with them while there was a line forming. He then gave them free pudding while this line continued to grow.
He was an older gentleman, who was balding, with black hair. Rude behavior, don’t plan on returning
I went with the usual expectations as any other bakery, and I have been to many boutique and popular ones as I have an on and off taste for cakes. I was rather received in a particularly peculiar manner by their untrained and unprofessional staff: firstly the Filipino staff have a particular sense of envy or pretentious indifference to sartorial dressed men or men with opulent display of disposable cash, I cannot blame them for that, but surprisingly in a city like Dubai where everyone has supercars, its interesting to see their local mindset immigrate all the way over here too. I remember this kind of petty pretentiousness mixed with envy even in their own cities back where they come from. The woman at the bakery first glanced at me and then then proceeded to stare for quite some seconds before answering a "yes? ". No "how may I help you Sir? " or "What can I do for you? " or any of the other well worn but more smarter inquiries of any new customer, especially ones that DO stand out from the crowd. Secondly, she proceeded to ask me loudly without even looking at me from her back "do you want to drink something? ", I did not answer because it was clear she was just trying to show attitude, trying to mix pretend-busy with the "oh let me pretend I dont see who you are or how you look cos you obviously look intimidating, let me start barking out responses like a dog so that you can answer me without me paying attention, you know cos I am the lowly baker woman so I have to act as if I am important too, because I am so insecure"-kind of body language and tone.
I stood there for a few minutes waiting for my items. The second woman at the bakery started pointing her fingers to the cashier desk and said "cashier over there". I was like you got to be kidding, pointing fingers at your customers? What the hell. I immediately shot back asking what kind of dealing is this? And I went to the cashier and make a remark about "I know what the requirements of this kind of jobs, not very much is required of them is not it? ". The cashier who is also the onsite manager it seems started to apologize saying "she did not mean it", and then proceeded to take my card bill, then to the woman customer behind me, he started to give her the tray saying please take your meal, when it was meant for me right in front of my nose, I said, "let me first have the items and sit down and then pay at the end, because their is a danger that my food can go to someone else. " (sarcasm). I went and had the items.
Then problems with payments, their card machine was hanging up and then I gave a feedback about the rough mat which can trip customers because if abruptly stops in a smooth floor, to which the bald manager dude started saying "please relax with your feedbacks". This kind of nonsense, I immediately told him that not to waste the time of customers for such little money and then pretending as doing a good job, then he said he is going to call security at which point he said "I cannot make you wait for the order, I am going to pay for it", and mostly because I refused to pay in cash after the card machine hanged up, I said "so its on the house then". He was actually planning to charge me twice just to create further problem. My Apple wallet already registered a transaction so I had absolutely no reason to pay anything more at all. I went out and registered a complaint to their management. This guy looked either Syrian or Moroccan. Typical kind of uncultured and uncouth behaviour towards their highly educated and well heeled customers. I will never return and never recommend this outrageous and insignificant joke of a bakery. Nothing special about their banana pudding, just custard and banana with too much sugar. You can make more at home or at your friends bakery with more class. This is just a marketing hype meant to get more customers. Their chocolate cake was also too sugary, no finesse and no elegance. All pretend.
Very nice location in mall.inside a departmental store.all high fi vibes and well kept place.but the best part is it’s desserts and cakes.u can never go wrong with their carrot cake and yumm banana pudding.can’t get enough of it.just a nice cozy place to enjoy ur morning coffee.my guilty pleasure
Horrible. 43dhs for 2 small cupcakes to arrive extremely dry and with hardly any icing. Ended up throwing them away as they tasted like they were made a week ago. Never again.
Banana pudding was on my list to test, Honestly it was worth the try but i think its over priced for such pudding, I had a delivery experience which was good with ice cubes inside to keep it cold, Packaging is excellent, I dont see it on those applications where u can buy one get one free, Still needs to see the actual service in the shop, Summery try this specialty desert!
It's the kind of place where you literally get death by chocolate, or in this case all things sweet. It's lovely little place, the cakes are phenomenal, the prices are too much, but so is the quantity. But worth it.
This is my first time to try this shop, I like banana so I bought the banana pudding, they use fresh banana that I appreciate HOWEVER they put too much sugar in it. I mean banana is already sweet, so it is no point to add some more sugar. I had a headache after consuming it which is very sad.
The banana pudding is a MUST HAVE! The other sweet treats are really nice, too. This outlet is easy to miss, but do keep an eye out for it on the LG level of Bloomingdale's, as you head towards the entrance to At The Top.
It’s the destination if you are a cheese cake lover. The ingredients are so rich and flavorful. This place made me think that there are much better places than Cheese cake factory. Well Magnolia sure know how to make the perfect cake to win dessert craving hearts.
This is the first time i order and tried this banana pudding of theirs via Careem. I was so shocked that there is a rubberband mixed in the pudding. Nowadays, its hard with this situation but just let people know to be careful.
The ambience is simple and the staff is polite, as for the desserts I am a huge fan of everything from the cakes, to the cupcakes and the banana pudding, everything is simply tasteful and vibrant.
If you are looking for the best Carrot Cake and Banana Budding in UAE, this is the spot to go to. The flavor and taste is insane and can't get enough of it, unfortunately the customer service is not the same as the sweets. I visited the store yesterday in the afternoon to purchase the usual, and was shocked by the rudeness, worst communication, reaction, and carelessness of the employees, especially the cashier, I demanded my money back without purchasing and they were so lifeless as to give me back my money without asking why or even trying to convince me otherwise. I am a loyal customer and love this store but if employees stay like this i would rather order from somewhere then face the cashier again.
The much heard of Banana Pudding from Magnolia bakery has been on my list for a long time. I finally tried it and I absolutely loved it.the pudding cream was perfectly sweet with fresh banana pieces and wafers in it. I got the small jar which can be easily shared by two. Cuisine: Bakery .
Banana pudding was nice. For a safety reason all cakes must be in a refrigerator, low temperature will also improve the taste. Unfortunately a double espresso wasn't so good.
There were no empty places in the cafe and the staff asked us to take the cakes away with us, but 5 minutes later they took extra chairs for the Arabian woman, racism?)
The banana pudding is delicious! Probably the best one I ever had! They also serve some coffee and other pastries such as cakes and ice cream. With some cute seating inside the store. I would recommend this place for a nice break from shopping and the banana pudding!
