Magnolia Bakery Dubai Festival City

This place always amazes me.
Just had breakfast there, coffee is amazing, food is amazing.
Highly recommended.
Of course not to forget their famous banana pudding .

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the customer service I experienced during my visit today.

I visited with a friend and encountered an issue when I requested a change from orange juice to a cappuccino for the special breakfast option, due to my health condition as a diabetic. The server's response was quite surprising and disheartening; they claimed it was against the rules to make such a substitution. I found this policy to be inflexible, especially considering my health constraints.

What troubled me even more was the server's dismissive attitude, as if my request was inconsequential. As a customer, I felt ignored and unwelcome. It was my first visit to your cafe, and unfortunately, it left a lasting negative impression.

I believe that good customer service is crucial in the hospitality industry, and my experience today fell short of expectations. I did not ask for anything beyond a simple substitution to accommodate my health needs, and the server's refusal without any attempt to find a solution was disappointing.

Regrettably, this experience has led me to decide that it will also be my last visit to Magnolia Bakery Cafe.

Under staffed. Went on the weekend and had to wait for 55 minutes to get the food served. Its nothing compared to other branches

The breakfast is average and too exorbitantly priced for the quantity served. Cakes are good. Very small tables where if more than I dish is served gets crowded leaving no room to eat comfortably. The place itself cannot accommodate a large crowd.

Just a single espresso, which was served in a nicely sized cup and saucer. Coffee was fine, but a bit pricey at 15aed (about three times the Italian price). Sadly all too common in Dubai

Best tasting cakes and desserts I’ve had in Dubai. Magnolia never disappoints. Always fresh and delish!

A must try experience! I ordered the regular banana pudding while in New York City but also in Dubai. They do have other amazing desserts and surely will try them next time but Banana Pudding will always be my first choice.

Staff were quick to arrange place for us to sit and ordering is hassle-free, taste is awesome for people who like more sweeter side of cakes. They have some trade mark items which are not available elsewhere. Price is justified for the quality, taste and service.

Enjoyed the best seller banana pudding! I like the interiors of the bakery. We also ordered some coffee which is also good.

My favorite place for a cup of coffee and some sweets red velvet cupcakes with the cream cheese, chocolate cakes and parfait pudding are to die for. And of course let's not forget the famous banana pudding all of our birthday cakes from Magnolia. A bit overpriced but the quality is always the same.

The place is fine but service is poor. The most shocking thing was they served a passion fruit mojito with lime pips. When I complained to the manager, she said this is our standard recipe and people can either drink/chew the pips or spit them out one after the other! SHOCKING!

Coffee is worth it but the pizza is not. Flat bread pizza was a doughy pizza crust with an overwhelming amount of sauce from a bottle. Less than average taste, with a few pieces of canned chicken. Could not force myself to eat more than a slice.

Tried their famous Banana pudding and Chocolate Parfait Pudding and both were really yumm! Almost all the people visiting Magnolia bakery are ordering their banana pudding which shows how popular the dessert is:)

Nice place for breakfast and dessert.

Slow Service

Poor service. Have to wait for a long time until someone comes to ask if we have been served. We Have to wait again until they come with the bill. Can't understand how the 3 staff members ask the customer to wait for his bill just because they are enjoying the chat with another customer.
Breakfast was below average and below the expectation.

I’ve had red velvet cupcakes four time over the past week three times at Magnolia Bakery in Abu Dhabi and once today at the festival city branch in Dubai. Unfortunately, today’s experience was not perfect, the cupcakes were dry the frosting did the flavor compensation.

Go see Ranjana, great host. Delicious breakfast she recommended the banana pudding, it was amazing!

Waited for 10+ minutes (the place wasn’t at all crowded) to order two cupcakes. They smelled like uncooked eggs, and were very sugary.

The staff and interior were nice, so two stars for that.

Magnolia bakery is located in the ground floor of Dubai festival city near to the promenade side. They are famous for their banana pudding which is tasty and filling. We can order it in different quantities as small, medium, large. Their cakes are also delicious with variety of colors. Good seating arrangement is also there.

Lovely cheesecakes and good coffee, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to enjoy an afternoon.

If you are a BANANA PUDDING fan this the right place to go and chill.
I really like the colors and decor of the restaurant is warm, cozy, bright and joyful.
I am now sitting listening to beautiful music and enjoying my banana pudding

The food was beyond amazing. I am quite happy that they will consider my suggestion to add more dishes. The manager is very friendly and staff as well. They bring life to the place that make me want to come again

The cake was very heavy chocolate cud taster better with chocolate ganache or lighter chocolate

Yummy Yummy Yummy! Chocolate chip, raspberry white chocolate, Samoa (yes like the Girl Scout cookie) are sooooo good! I cut them into sections for the whole family to try out! So soft and moist just melts in my mouth!

If you are looking for the worst experience ever! Try magnolia birthday cake especially the the vanilla iced cake!
You will feel like vomiting after your 3rd bite.
And the price is so expensive comparing the quality you will get.
Service is to slow.
Staff are friendly to be honest.
But the chef has to terminated immediately for the quality he or she are preparing.

It is a beautiful cafe very nice decoration. Their sweets are delicious. Little bit heavy on the calorie side if someone is following a special diet. Definitely recommended

Delicious desserts and outstanding service. Mr. Harry gave us first class service and has a great love and passion for the brand. We learned a lot about the history of Magnolia Bakery from him! We will keep coming back!

When you need to make up with your wife/daughter/girlfriend, get her here, that’s what I do. And works every time.

They eat chocolate stuff made by magnolia guys and problem solved

Rating their breakfast menu only - is not a go-to place for weekend breakfast with family. Besides the staff being very nice, the food was ok, their cakes are much better in comparison. Took a long time to come after ordering (coul have been due to us being there an hour since opening). Had the full pan and the French toast (Apple pie flavour).

Staff cleaned table and chairs when requested. Spacing between tables is good. Kids loved the banana pudding, chocolate cupcake and raspberry lemon cheesecake. Coffee is not great, its that horrible American style watered down coffee. Desserts are bit sweeter than my taste but otherwise good.

Delicious desserts with a wide range. Had the apple crumble skillet there and came back for more. Both times deliciously consistent

I ordered carrot cake (for delivery) and it was the best carrot cake I've ever tasted. So moiste, fresh with amazing cheese cream and lot of nuts - soo yummy. Portion / peaces were huge (need 2 days to eat one piece).

An unforgettable experience. Post lockdown.they still believe in using old crockery which has scratches all over their plates. They added an additional item on our bill.which was refunded after informing them.
The only good item was the banana pudding even though the chef needs to work on his plating skills.it was served in a very poor fashion.
Please do not order coffee out here.cafe Nero is a better option besides it.

No one makes or can ever make banana pudding like these lads. The Original flavor is amazing. They keep adding flavors to the pudding occasionally. Rest off the desserts look tempting too. Can't wait to try them. Go for it!

Took almost 2 hours to get it delivered without anyone calling me and notifying about the delay.
Their landline isnt working either!

Always wanted to visit the place with my wife. Finally went this weekend for breakfast. Ordered Magnolia's big breakfast. Disappointing - scrammbled eggs came in overfried, twosided sunny sideup came in as onesided and an attitude from waiter upon request to redo. Good job by supervisor though to make things happen - redone dishes were good. 3 star goes as acknowledgement of the fact that feedback works in this place but unlikely we will go there again. Attitude from waiter? Really? Guys, you need to do something with that.

One of best places in Dubai for cupcakes! The carrot one and the red velvet are family favorite.

Been there a couple of times and have always been very impressed with the quality of the food, be it sweet or savory. Their cupcakes are delicious and luscious and their Avacado on toast with poached eggs are highly recommended. It helps ofcourse when the service is courteous and friendly. And to that end Patrick the server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. All in all highly recommended.

Very nice cosy self serving place. Well known taste from New York. This unique cafe is placed in a furniture shop. The Banana pudding is a signature taste. But carrot cake is also delicious. Unfortunately the red velvet was disappointment. Coffee also was really tasty. Staff was friendly but very busy. Overall ideal for a nice coffee break for a full day shopping experience.

Fake reviews! Worst customer service ever. They forgot half of our order, and the food was cold and made me nauseous.

DUBAI festival city branch, good food but not service. Although there was only two customers in the whole place, including myself, they failed to bring my order as I requested. In addition, the waiter just toss the menu and went without any kind of greeting. I don’t think I’ll go again or recommend it to my friends

Today was my visit at this Cafe and it was sweet to core. I ordered a cappuccino with red velvet cake and lotus cheesecake. Though it got too sweet to handle but both the cakes were amazing and tasted so nice. Red velvet cake had oreo crust and whipped cream topping that made it a little rich but that's fine for people with sweet tooth. Lotus cheesecake is a must try as it's their best seller. Overall the service was nice and quick, the staff is really polite and helpful and they honor each customer a lot. Thank you for making my evening best.

The best carrot cake ever ️ It tastes like New York! I you guys must try it, the cake slice for 28 Dhs only and it’s big slice. They have specialty coffee as well and it’s so good with the cake

Come here for the food! We had the brisket (Devine and the bread they serve with it is another level!), Meatballs with pomegranate and feta (yumm), Chicken caesar salad (I asked for less dressing and we wiped the plate clean) and the steak pie (was ok, a bit overcooked meat). And then the banana pudding (heaven on earth)

Went to buy a cake for the family on a Saturday and all is can say was the service was below standard.

First of there was a lady at the counter, I am assuming she was the store manager, completely screaming on top of her lungs as if I couldn't hear what she was trying to say. Regardless I choose the cake and wanted to have some worodngs put on it, the Filipino Male staff was again speaking too loudly and did not understand what I tried to convey to him so he retaliated with raising his voice again.

Just overall degrading service and the staff need to lower their voices.

I used to love this place, well actually in Jordan, not in UAE. However, the fact it was from New York was very appealing. Well, I was disappointed. We ordered 2 chocolate cakes slices, one fudge and the other is mocha one. That was to celebrate mother days, they had no offer at all or any kind of treat, and one vanilla cupcake. The chocolate cakes were average, actually like they were baked from cake mix box.the cupcake tasted better. Services is good but pretty average too. Prices are affordable

You'd know the good management when things go wrong, the store manager is professional and competent, hats off to her.

Tasty carrot cake and fresh. Expensive but no more so than other high-end coffee chains. Service is good and friendly (Filipino). I enjoyed it as a nice change of scene.

One of the best places to have Cheese Cakes.the top sellers are Red Velvet and Lemon Berry cheese cake. Also their salads are good. Had Quinoa And Ceaser Salad.
