The food was Average. They did not have cutlery and crockery for infants which are unbreakable ones. They provided us a take away plastic bowl for our infant and the bowl was super deep and not kid friendly.
The atmosphere was very rustic, with no view. The restaurant was also empty and had no Asian vibes just a normal bland restaurant without identity.
The portions of the food were also very less - photos are attached below. We ordered noodles with peanut sauce and sweet and sour chicken. There were barely any pieces of chicken for it to be a main course, and the noodles were less than a bowl an infant could eat, much less a main course.
Thinking back, we should have brought magnifying glasses to find food, it was like finding a needle in a hay stack; that is to say very hard. The shrimp appetizer which was fried was good and crispy, hot and freshly made, but again 6 small pieces are not enough for the price of 75 aed, where somewhere in that price you can get a main course. Overpriced and not value for money.
They gave us a surprise birthday cake which was utterly delicious, with an eye catching banner, and a heart warming happy birthday song by their staff.
Again the service aspect wasn’t consistent and good. They were reluctant to do much work, and you expect better from a world class resort. Considering the theme the hotel being ‘party all the time’ the staff had dull and gloomy looks and weren’t anything out of the way.
The bathrooms were also not well stocked. We expect more from this award winning restaurant set in one of the world’s most iconic hotels in a superb location.
Much to be desired, this restaurant has the potential but the food, quantity and value for money aspects have got to improved.

Overall would not recommend. There are so many other good value for money pan Asian restaurants on the palm and numerous in Dubai.

Good place for food and amazing view of sea. On the Palm has Valet parking which needs to be stamped. Outdoor seating by the sea is perfect for families and friends to have good evening.

Definitely my favourite spot in Dubai.
Food, service, cocktails, music and view. All the best combined.

We recently had the pleasure of attending the Ladies Night at the Maiden Shanghai restaurant, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The Ladies Night special menu was an absolute treat. The service there also was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the evening.

Such a fun ladies night every Wednesday! Amazing 3 course Asian inspired meal with 3 drinks and really good live entertainment. Highly recommended.

Wednesday is ladies night! This is definitely a ladies night to experience in Dubai! Amazing cocktail selection, highly recommend the Seabass rolls and the Kung Pao! We had a live dj and magician to entertain us

Really nice place! Went to the brunch and the vibe was amazing! Food and drinks are so nice! The view is also stunning, it’s definitely a spot for pictures. Staff was also really nice and welcoming. I am definitely going back!

The restaurant is divided on 3 floors. The terrace in the 3rd floor has an amazing view. I have to also mention the fact that they have excellent service.

Fantastic dinner with a great view! I just can't get enough from this venue: I've celebrated New Year's eve here as well as my birthday brunch! The ambiance and staffs attention is amazing. I really enjoyed delicious chef's specials "Peking duck" and recommendation of cocktails. The presentation of a desert "Almond rice bowl" was so spectacular and Instagrammable. So happy with my dinner here tonight!

It was my first time to visit Maiden Shanghai and we went for their Saturday Brunch, it was absolutely amazing! I love these place! The food is the best food and the service aswell I like the view over the pool and the ocean the brunch is the best! 1 hour is included champagne oh my god, I love it!?

This place is great! Best view in Dubai, from where you can see dubai marina and amazing fireworks!

It was my first, but definitely not the last visit to this authentic Chinese restaurant. It impresses you from the first step in! When you see those stunning Marina, Beachfront and Blue Waters views, you fall in love immediately Interior of the restaurant is very pretty too, the red lights everywhere (in night time) looks fancy and stylish.
Special comments and likes go to the restaurant staff. Very attentive, caring and friendly! Thank you, guys, for making my evening so special and memorable)
Food and drinks are very delicious, so I don't regret that extra centimetre added to my waist during the evening)

Very decent experience. Good food and service. We went on a busy Friday morning brunch and we didn’t like the table they have originally put us. The manager did his best and gave us a different table despite the place being very busy.

Creative twist on traditional Chinese classics. Excellent spicy options and cocktails to wash them down.

This restaurant is the best restaurant I ever seen. The location of this restaurant is also great. They serve the best quality of food. You can come with your Family and enjoy the food. I will definatly suggest Maiden Shanghai to others.

Everytime I have come to Maiden the atmosphere has been absolutely amazing, 5 star service, the shisha beautiful and smooth and the drink’s made by Kelvin absolute amazing! Highly recommend, best service, amazing view, best food, shisha and drinks! For shisha ask for Dilshod, and for service Thiri, for an amazing experience!

Service was outstanding unfortunately can't say the same for the food. The food was passable at best although couple of dishes were decent but couldn't redeem the overall experience.

Went to a brunch here. Extremely poor quality of food and slow service levels. I found the brunch of AED 395 (No Alcohol) high for such quality.

Smoking indoors in a restaurant is just wrong and just be banned.

I just can't praise this restaurant enough. The food is delicious and the staff exceptional. They are checking all the time that everything is perfect and seeing to your every need. There is a beautiful terrace with fantastic views and the night we visited a young lady was playing the violin and she was so talented. We also visited on ladies night and there was a DJ that night, the atmosphere was so good. Special mention to Jackie, thiri and Naina who were lovely and even made sure we warm enough on the terrace with seats near heaters and blankets if we needed them.

This place has the best location. One of the most beautiful hotels i visited. I visited a terrace bar/restaurant. But i will stay in this hotal one day. Love it.

Well overpriced and there was nothing authentic about it, Chinese food that they claim.
Fusion chiness may be, if you like small portions at 50 dollars a dish. Half duck 80 dollars and dont think it was even half.

Biggest joke ever! That was the smallest Peking duck in my whole life! The Peking duck was very tasty, but it was just the skin in the pancakes and not as described in the menu. Fraud and even too expensive for Dubai. Then I prefer to go back to Hakkasan or Novikov.

Größter Witz aller Zeiten! Das war die kleinste Peking Ente in meinem ganzen Leben! Zwar war die Peking Ente sehr lecker, aber es war eben nur die Haut in den Pancakes und nicht wie im Menu beschrieben. Betrug und selbst für Dubai viel zu teuer. Dann gehe ich lieber wieder in das Hakkasan oder Novikov.

I went to Maiden Shanghai two times during my holiday in Dubai.
I staied with my boyfriend in the Five Jumeirah Village for one week with the half-board option, one of the restaurant was Maiden Shanghai.
The service, done by Salim, one of waiters, it was exceptional. He recommended us a fantastic starter (attached the photo).
The menu proposal is Chinese fusion, I recommend this restaurant and if in the futur I 'll come back to Dubai I'll come back to taste their magnificent dishes.

It's a squeeze! Seems management only want as many people in as possible. We were a party of 7 booked weeks in advance sat at a table big enough for 4. Eventually we were moved but many other parties had to make do. Food is tasty, as are cocktails, but not worth the 450 price tag for brunch. Menu is fairly limited for drinks and food, starters were the highlight. The after-party was just hostesses hustling everyone upstairs where, again, numbers in the door were priority. Not enough space to move! Music is decent though! Bar staff and waiters very friendly and helpful!
