The worst customer service every. closing an account and opening a new account is really complicated. You go to Dubai mall or mall of the emirates the people tell you this is smart branch visit the full service branch which is far and the people go online no need to do it here. Literally keep tossing you up and down and have no regards that online says visit a bank. i mean why have so many smart branches when clearly no one is helping and the full service is the same.At least read your policies and get it right rather than waste people time.

Get you a better bank cause really it does not make sense make it make sense.

Horrible bank. Bank with them at your own risks. They never help in anything. Customer service is zero. People still from your card and nothing is processed from their side to help. I don’t and will never recommend this bad bank

Not only is it a terrible bank.with no adequate services.this branch is useless. One useless manager that can only file complaints online with no authority.and one useless staff that a chair is more useful than him.

On 28th of april i was ordering something from noon but for there app crush order couldn’t be completed and from my mashraq card 168 cutted! I asked noon they said they already gave me refund but in bank statement nothing refund showing! Not getting help from bank as well

لدينا حساب اون لاين في بنك المشرق باسم جلاسي ستايل ولدينا مشكلة منذ ثلاثة شهور لا احد يساعدنا والمعاملة سيئة ولم بستطع احد ان يجد لنا حل في تغيير الحساب من شخص باع حصته في الشركة الى المالك الجديدومنذ ثلاثة شهور او اكثر نرسل الايميلات ونتصل اون لاين ويقولون لنا غدا سنرسل لكم الحل ولغاية اليوم ليس هناك حل
اريد حلا ويوميا اتصل اون لاين وابقى متصلا نص ساعة ويقفلون الخط

Terrible bank in UAE I’ve ever met,they collaborate with Amex rental car service. A month ago, I returned the car and they told me will refund deposits to bank account. They said already refund through Mashreq bank and haven’t sent me the transaction payment successful screenshot yet just send me the transaction summary? I asked them to prove me with transaction successful screenshot many times but haven’t received yet. I don’t know which side is wrong but I’m sick of it. Till now I haven’t received any refund yet since been 1 month ago. Mashreq bank didn’t take any responsibility for that too. As the refund amount is not big I can ignore that but their services both Amex & Mashreq bank images go down in my mind at least. Just share my bad experience only.

8 days back I have made a transaction and still it’s not beed deposited in beneficiary account no will knows whats the issue no one will give any call back no one will reply your E-mails just you have run after them
Not a single staff has any professionalism
Everyday they will say that we will get back to you I swear no is gonna call you the worst banking everI did transaction and they don’t even where is that money

Horrible bank I have called them 100 times and informed them to close my credit card and they have asked me to pay full and final payment after I did the payment I have requested them to close the card and every time they say we are taking complaint and never close charging me on that card after I have closed it never take der card I have lost patience it’s been 6 months so I’m here to save others money and time

The most horrible bank in uae.
They only spent money on adverts, you will see the ad on different social medial platforms.
I opened the bank online due to the fact that it doesn't take time like other banks in uae.
Unfortunately is taking forever now.
It's been days no card, no acc activation, no check book, customer service sucks.
I called many customers service number no one picked up, I called for hours.
Just so sad, reading bad reviews about how they operate. The bank should be shutdown.
Branches not going to solve your problems, customer service can help either so why are they in business in a country like this?

Hello Good day! I have concern to your atm, last thursday -Feb 3,2022 around 10 pm I am about to withdraw money, but unfortunately the money did not came out even the receipt nothing! And its already deduct to my account. I hope you will take action for this as soon as possible. Im waiting for your response! PLEASE

I have encountered a very inconvenient incident regarding your product - Noon VIP card

In the advertisement you promised me a 500 preloaded cash If I applied and I did
after I Receive my digital card I noticed no 500 is preloaded
I called the bank and they assured me it will be there after some time, the preloaded 500 and I can spend it, they assured me if I buy now the next statement will deduct it from the preloaded cash - please go back to the call on the 16th of December 2021 morning time and check this

attached a photo clearly say preloaded cash is available- not cashback

now the statement is out and they ask me to pay, when I called again and asked about the preloaded cash they say no we change the deal, now I have to spend more than 4000 to get cashback 500 and no preloaded cash

Preloaded cash and cashback on money spent are completely different

This is manipulation and deceiving, even when I called the bank they fail to notify me about the new terms, even if this term already existed, the team should clarify when I called and asked that there is a condition, They lied to the customer and tricked me by evil marketing

I want to complain to the consumer rights about this, I do not trust this bank and I do not want anything to do with them

the payment is 400 AED, it's not going to make me rich or poor, but I am talking about the principle itself, when the bank use people trust and on purpose mislead them
play with words to trick them, it's disgusting

even if I could not legally do anything, I will pay the 400 and never use this bank and noon again, I can't trust those brands anymore

Terrible bank!

Complete lack of customer service etiquette. 2 customer reps have hung on on me and make me dial again and wait really long. I have had an issue with the bank for one month now, they don't bother replying, I send emails to their customer complaints address.

They take ages, do not have staff equipped to deal with issues and they are in no way a 'digital bank'. It's a marketing gimmick, their system is down many times.

Second time that i have issue with u guys! Well done! Salary card was not issue, nobody call me to visit the brand and i did not start to dealing with u, i mean the open account process is not yet done!

You should fire the guys who only know the word “No. ”
keep the local guys/arab staff who really good in communication and using their brain rather than fast talking “No”.
Incident: I got a message that I forgot my emirates id. I come back in the evening and asked for my emirates id, then the two staff saying they have plenty of emirates id and saying no, they didn’t see my emirates Id only by looking at one drawer.
Even I was sick, I raised my voice and the local guy heard me and confirmed he has it.
Being in fast paced country makes some people rather talk than think and use their common senses.
I’ll come back and edit this review to, who knows, maybe 3 or 4 when Mashreq value the time and opportunity of clients.

The most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Two hours to cash a cheque after getting to the counter! Counter staff and manager purposely going slow to annoy!

Terrible bank with zero professionalism or understanding of the basics of banking processes. I advise people not to take their credit cards as they have fraud transactions happening and zero response from the bank to investigate cases and return the money. They also change the rules to block your savings account and not allow you to withdraw money. The worst bank I’ve ever dealt with.

Mashreq Bank is filled with rent-seeker loser employees that are good for nothing. They’re only good at wasting your time and turn your day into a nightmare. Every time I visit a Mashreq Bank branch, I die a little inside.

Dont use this bank.i have an account since 2005 and the bank freeze my account for no reason i was traveling and their telephone banking customer service is the worst ever.you maybe wait 15min on the phone than they ask you enter a code that you will never receive by sms after 30min maybe you manage to speak to someone who will ask you 5 questions and than they will tell you this is not our department.can you believe this! This is by far the top worst bank in the world not only in uae.and cherry on top if you complain by email they will reply the next day with an automated email that has nothing to do with your complaint and never hear from them again.stay away from this bank or you will go crazy if you deal with them

I've tried to call to check if already opened before coming but no response. Then, I decided to visit since the website said it's open. When I came there, the branch was closed and is under renovation. This should have been posted in the website so customers like ourselves will not waster time and energy.

Closed for renovations, the one in MoE seem permanently closed also. I called customer service to know which branch in Dubai was open after 6pm, and was told that the latest branch closes at 4pm in Dragonmart.
So even though it’s definitely not a good bank to be a customer for, it’s definitely a very good place to work with minimal working hours.

Ok NEVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT with Mashreq. They have just decided like that to triple their fees for Mortgage Advance payments. The Management should seriously go to jail with these predatory practices and as a consumer there is nothing you can do about it. It’s outrageous, I’m speechless. Initially the fees were supposed to be 0%, but they denied saying that even though it was in writing, now it’s 3%. I hate this bank and everyone working for them supporting this way of robing their customers.

Horrible horrible horrible
I went to get a debit card replaced last week was made to wait over 50min before I decided to leave and requested for it on phone, it’s got delivered and to activate it I have to visit the bank, guess what am back to waiting now 40min and counting

I tried seeking help from 2 ladies (from Mashreq gold desk) they ended up ignoring me and having a chat between themselves!
The Bank Manager that was supported the first time i came, asked to wait so he finishes with people with him and he will let me in, he let new people before me! After showing how annoyed i got and upset, he came out and asked one of the staff to help, what is worse after waiting it needed was a 2min setup

Dear bank go fix your disgusting customer service cause you suck

PS: if you want to deal with this bank have a salary of 50K, then the bank will recognize your existence
