It was very sad for us in this restaurant. We came here in the afternoon. There were only three guests here besides us. The waiter was very slow. He forgot about our order. 20 minutes have passed. We called another waiter. The tiramisu had already melted and was therefore not tasty. The salad arrived 30 minutes later: the waiters forgot about it too. I will never come to this restaurant and do not advise anyone to do so. The restaurant management lost control. This used to be a great restaurant.
We had a delightful experience at Massimo, it is kind of huge restaurant by the marina walk, sitting outdoor in December is amazing, the food was good, we ordered margarita pizza and also beef and fries pizza which is somehow new concept for pizza but it was ok as per my kids. The waiters were friendly serving with a smile and responding so politely and nicely to kids.
First time at Massimo Dubai Marina. Really excellent food and great attentive service by Lara and Abinash who went the extra mile to look after us. The restaurant was filled with Italians which tells you a lot about how authentic and high quality it is. We’d definitely come here again
The food Was great, I loved The atmosphere of the restaurant, Excellent service and our hostess Dulma made our experience a lot better she provided excellent service for us and she was very professional and friendly. And the tiramisu was the best tiramisu I’ve had. I will definitely visit again.
Food is amazing, authentic Italian flavors. The best gelato that I’ve tried in all Dubai. An extra star for Anna, exceptional service. We’ll definitely come back!
As an Italian, I can say that it's the best pizza I've ever eaten! Exceptional service and luxurious and gorgeous venue! The only flaw is the price, a bit high for a Margherita
The worst Italian food I ever had in my life. A premium priced place with such bad food is extremely disappointing. Ambience of a normal food court of any mall. Extremely surprising of so many positive reviews which they dont deserve!
Good food, authentic and fairly priced. This place offers a great selection of authentic, Italian food. While the Bruschetta was on point, the homemade tagliatelle was premade and heated, which gave it an average kind of taste. Everything else was delicious and in general I can definitely recommend the place.
So, where do I start. After hearing lots of good and hearing lots of good stuff about Massimo’s In Dubai Marina I planned to visit there with a friend of mine. We were greeted by Enthusiastic staff they gave us plenty of seating options be inside or outside. View, Ambience, slow jazz music 10/10. What stood out was service and food, Very simple yet spectacular. Surely I will come again and spread good word. Most Recommended dishes are Grill Seabass, Gamberi Aglio Olio, Paccheri con Cernia, Pistacho Gelato and rest I shall try in my next visit. Cheers to management and staff of Massimo’s. Grazie Mille
I can say the food is nice, pasta a real Italian taste. Fish was simply grilled and gave some yummy appetiser on the house. Also gelato taste good. The outside view on the marina is great What I don't like much is the environment of the restaurant. Feel a bit cold and impersonal.
This is one of the best (if not the best) restaurants in Dubai. Their attention to detail both in preparation and presentation is unmatched by most restaurants i have been to around the world. Massimos competes with itself.
I went there with friends and sat outside, The view of marina is amazing! I tried their pasta and it was very good! Also loved their Tiramisu, will go again to try more dishes.
If you need to eat Italian food try to avoid this restaurant. The restaurant doesn’t deserve more than 2 stars because the food is not tasty and high prices
The food was quite good actually, but the service in this place. Wow (in a bad way). Wife and I turned up and were initially ignored. There were only two other tables dining. Asked for a table for two and were stared at as if we'd barged in on the waitress on the toilet. We were shown to a table without a word, menus shoved in our faces. A different waitress came back about 10 seconds later and said "order" without looking at us. It was like the entire staff had fallen out with eachother and were taking it out on the customers. My wife ordered, and I waited about 20 seconds for the waitress to turn to me. She didn't, so I began to order. She let me get half way through my order before interrupting by turning to my wife to repeat her order. Then turned back to me and just raised her eyebrows as if "NOW you may order. "
When the food came it was quite tasty, and the setting was nice, overlooking the water, but the waiting staff just completely ruined the experience. It was very awkward. I did notice the other 2 tables (Arab couples) seemed to be faring a little better, so perhaps this ITALIAN restaurant didn't like tourists.
We finished our food and sat waiting for 30 minutes for someone to clear our table so I could ask for the bill. Eventually I managed to flag down one of the waitresses and ask for the bill. She curtly nodded, then went away to chat to her friend at another table for 10 minutes. A male waiter then came to ask if we'd like dessert, by which point it felt like so long I was almost ready to order my dinner.
Shame, it seems the waitresses have never been taught how to smile.
Nice embiance but was expecting slightly better cooked Ravioli not over cooked and slightly tough. Pumpkin soup was upto the mark. Just finished dinner
