Maui Beach Restaurant & Bar

Celebrated my wife's birthday and we have a wonderful time, it was perfect in every way, on the beach and delicious food.
The Indian buffet was excellent with lots of variety in starters, mains and desert, it was a not a big spread which makes it even better, as everything which was served was delicious, specially loved the Gajar ka halwa.
The service was excellent, the chef, the support staff (Madhu & others) and even the manager took few rounds to the each table to check if everything is ok. We celebrated a birthday, so they surprised us with a cake.

Overall great experience.

Maui Beach Restaurant is a great place to eat, we had lunch there and the food was fantastic.
In the evenings the beach restaurant transforms into Zoya which is an Indian restaurant. If you are on half board on Fridays there is an all you can eat buffet.
Lunch started with the apple and strawberry lemonades which were great
Then had the Greek salad and the Indonesian kebab. Both were fantastic and full of flavour.
We then visited on Friday evening for the Indian buffet in Zoya, same restaurant. It transformed into an Indian theme. The service was excellent, as it was cold, 17 degrees, they brought the wife over a shawl to keep her warm. And when she accidentally ate a chilli brought us some Lassi to drink which helps cool off the spiciness.
The Indian buffet was excellent. Lots of variety in starters, mains and desert. The samosas were a little spicy but great, as was the fish and chicken, dips all good as well.
Mains there was a whole variety of curries and girls. All were great, yes had a little of everything, but kept going back for the Lamb Rogan Josh which was outstanding.
Deserts, good variety, the wife tried a selection, but I’m not one for anything that’s not chocolate….

Beautiful venue, amazing food and 5 star service. We visited desi junction at the Maui beach restaurant for alfresco dining. Food was fantastic, something for everyone. Staff very attentive. Sabre made us feel so welcome and gave us the best experience. Highly recommend 5

I don't recommend this restaurant at all. Very bad food even the simplest sandwich, club sandwich, that I haven't seen a bad one was bad here, no taste. We tried the pizza and the pasta as well and all was bad. The service was bad too, our waitor was grumpy and wasn't talking much. We ordered water he left it on the table without opening, we asked for tissues he brought a bunch and threw them on the side of the table. The only good thing about this restaurant was the scenery when the weather is nice. Not going there ever again.

We enjoyed the "Indian brunch" with masala tea and lassi at Maui last weekend. The food was delicious and all the servers were extremely polite, attentive, warm and pleasant. Great ambience n atmosphere.

Great location lovely view and vibe. Came for a late lunch so we could watch the sunset. Food was great and very tasty. Service was a little slow and we needed to call out to get it, but they were busy getting the buffet ready for their Desi night and given the flavours in the chicken tikka wrap we thought about staying.

We had been to the Desi night brunch at the Maui restaurant. Its ambience is definitely unbeatable, being on the beach with such intimidating views, the location is perfect for a dinner brunch. The musicians are playing lovely soft Indian instrumental music. But being a Friday night it wasn’t really crowded, which felt good, less crowd th better.
Now coming to the food spread they had a mix of veg and non veg items. Appetizers included cocktail samosas, medu vada, chicken tikka, fish tikka, grilled broccoli, lamb kebabs. The spread is not very large and not very short also. But the strange part was the were no salads. Brunch or any buffet places have a large spread of salads but here there were no salads. There was a chat corner which had Pani Puri, papdi chat, dhokla, dahi vada. The Pani Puri was very avg with the spicy water being very mild spicy. The dhokla was nice in taste. The papdi chat was soggy since it’s made and kept. Dahi vada was also very avg in taste. The spice content was very less, catering to more of the foreign palate than the Indian palette. The main course had Dal Makhni, Paneer masala, Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh, Fish, Peas pulao and Indian breads. There was a Pau bhaji corner as well but the taste was very average, nothing great about it. The Mango lassi and Chai were a part of the brunch but not water.
Desert spread included Gajar halwa, Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun and a fruit counter. The Rasmalai was tasty and so was the Halwa but the Gulab Jamun were very sweet, though very soft and hot.
With the kind of price charged at 199 per adult and 99 per kid, it’s not value for money. There are better restaurants with much better food options. But the restaurant gets full points for the ambience and the view it possesses.

Amazing beachside location with great ambiance. Iftar buffet is just great in lovely breezy weather.

We had iftar here with the family. The food and the variety is just amazing. The table is just overseeing the beach and the palm. The view is just stunning and awe inspiring together with good food what a perfect combination. What I loved the most for iftar was the variety of soup and bread, then the salad bar and then the big variety of dishes and a grill area. There is also an area for children and sweets. Also there is Starbucks served for coffee yum! It’s all amazing and I completely recommend this restaurant if not for the food then for the ambiance and the view of the palm and beach:)

We had a 5-course dinner reservation at Maui Beach Restaurant with a private cabana right at the beach. The food was outstanding, the service highly professional and attentive (thanks to our waiter Amal), and the setting was really intimate and romantic. We definitely recommend a visit if youre staying on the Palm.

The views are beautiful, you can see Dubai skyline from Atlantis to JBR to Tecom, the food is okay, I tried the lunch menu, the prices are fair.

The setting, atmosphere and view was beautiful. Along with very attentive staff that made the experience even better. Most importantly, the food was incredible and I would definitely go again. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great place to be! Wonderfull authentic food. Relaxing lounge athmospeere close to beach. Very nice which fully toole care of us and our 3 kids. We really enjoiyed the evening in this place!

On our staycation at Sofitel The Palm, we visited Maui Beach Restaurant & Bar for happy hour drinks. Nice and cosy venue with a good view of the beach. We enjoyed our starters and drinks. The service was prompt.

During our second visit to the Sofitel Palm Resort we were again made to feel welcome and special from the Porters Ado & Deepack to the check in staff and room service staff. The Maui restaurant didn't disappoint during our days spent in the Hired Tiki beach Cabana and the food, drinks and service was excellent. Ajith our waiter couldn't have been more courteous and helpful and made the whole experience very relaxing. We highly recommend the Maui restaurant as Lasantha and staff will ensure your every need is met professionally.

Zoya Restaurant right at the beach with Alfresco seating where you can enjoy Indian food with classical Indian music in a traditional setting. Start with Chicken Almond soup. Drink to have is Chilly Mocker with Kerala Fried Chicken as starter. Goan Prawn curry is mouth watering for main course and should be tried with traditional white rice

One of the best experiences had so far, staff were excellent, food was very good at a point we ordered to much.overall well worth it.

Völlig überteuert wie auch das ganze Hotel. Eine kleine Dose Pepsi, 7Up, kostet ca. 8 Euro. Ein kleiner Miniburger mit Pommes (weniger als ein Happy Meal bei McD) ca. 12 Euro. Essen durchschnittlich. Zudem ist das Personal sehr langsam. Man wartet ewig selbst wenn wenig los ist. 2 Sterne für die schöne Location.

I love Sofitel. Then resort is so inviting, family friendly, and diverse. A great place to spend the day with your children.

A bit on the pricy side, but the venue makes up for it (perhaps why they charge so much - because they can) - the food is great quality, the menu has enough options for little ones too, but the service could be a little more attentive.

The food was really good and a very nice relaxing place to hang out however service was shocking. Every time we needed something I had to ask for something more than once. When our food was finished some dishes were left on the table for more than an hour after eating. Lots of staff walking around but not once did anyone ask if we were okay. Quite disappointed to be honest.

Last week we dined at the Maui Beach Dubai to experience their 'picnic under the star's concept. We arrived shortly after 8pm, to which the maitre d' led us through the restaurant down to the beach, which coincidently was roped off to stop people from wondering down allowing the whole experience to be completely private. As we walked down we could see two wooden fire touches steaked into the sand and a blanket, on the blanket were a couple of bean bags, cushions two wicker hampers which contained our plates and cutlery for the meal along with the pashminas that we had previously requested.

Shortly after, our waiter, a young Indian guy by the name of Prashanth came to introduce himself and explain how the picnic concept will work, I must admit although being young (and as we came to find out had only been in the UAE for a year), his lever of service and attention was second to none. He was polite, efficient and ensured that all our expectations were met, even to the little details of ensuring my lady was always served before myself. We even had a little call button that we could press in order for him to come to us when we needed something. Also throughout the night he was kind enough to offer to take lots of beautiful photos of us so that we could cherish our experience.

As we had chosen the European menu we were delighted to see a tantalising selection of dishes, for our starters we were presented various dishes including bruschetta, ceviche, octopus salad and this amazingly thinly sliced bresaola and duo of melon which as definitely our favourite of the starters.

During our starter we were delighted to be introduced to the restaurant manager Lasantha, who came to greet us and ensure that we were happy with the service that was being provided, it was clear that he takes a lot of pride and pleasure in welcoming his guests and ensuring that the service they received was to the best possible standard, this reaffirmed for us that the night would certainly be an experience to remember.

The remainder of our meal included a main course of mixed grilled meats which were brought to us on a BBQ grill and accompanied with mushroom and peppercorn sauce and a side of roasted herbed potato wedges and steamed greens.

Finally we finished the meal with an indulgent selection of deserts and fruit, which were small enough to experience the amazing flavours and textures but not too much to leave you bloated.

We were so impressed with the high quality of service and hospitality we received and felt like royalty throughout the night, this is definitely the level of service that you would expect from Maui and Sofitel, the sort that you would only compare with that of the Maldives. I would definitely recommend this place or couples looking to experience a blissful and romantic meal together and would like to thank both Lasantha and Prashanth for amazing experience.
