Maya Mexican Kitchen + Bar

I have been in a lot of Mexican food restaurants, but the quality of food in Maya is excellent really authentic.

Good food, fajitas were especially nice and great guacamole that’s made right in front of you.

Dined with half board set menu as guest of hotel. Overall quite good but expected more flavour and intensity. Starter Chicken Tacos and Nachos were flavourful (9/10). Main Short Rib felt lacking and a bit muted (under seasoned and spiced for my taste and I was longing for a splash of El Yucateco hot sauce) but maybe the dish is authentic and I was hoping for something it is not. Dessert Chocolate Flan was 10/10 so flavourful and rich. 2 outta 3 ain't bad, would recommend if half board guest but would feel quite short changed otherwise.

Dined here and liked the ambience. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We were trying Mexican cuisine for the first time in Dubai. It was satisfactory.value for money taking into account the Entertainer Vouchers, or else it was a pricey restaurant.

Abdul is a great host and we followed his recommendations and was fantastic, I will definitely come back again

Their brunch is amazing, great service and ambience. Highly recommend for their food and drinks.

Brunch at Maya

We visited this amazing Mexican restaurant just a few days ago — for Saturday brunch. First of all, I’d like to say that the interior is beautiful, you can see attention to the details in all the decorations and colors — in the dining area and in bathrooms.
The menu for the brunch is nicely compiled, and they serve food to your table — everything that there is on the menu. So surely you can try everything they have to offer — cold starters, hot starters, main dish and desert. Also variety of drinks — soft or alcohol depending on your choice. We went with non-alcohol option.
I liked guacamole, shrimps, and beef. Actually, everything was delicious, just as usual people have their best favorites, so I mentioned mine.
Also there is kids menu with nuggets, quesadillas and fries.
The service is at a top level, the waiters are helpful, attentive and everything is done just in time.
The visit was not only about the food, it’s more about get together and enjoy delicious food, and ambience, and talk to friends, take pictures in sombreros or without them, to have this feeling of affluence of time — you are not in a hurry, you are here now to enjoy and make memories.
I’d really like to visit again.

I visited Maya tonight and was totally excellent! The tacos were amazing and the desserts are from another planet. Highly recommended place. The chef and all the staff are very friendly

I often find Mexican food very predictable- just different portions of the same things. This was not that - wonderful food, great flavours and beautiful setting. We took recommendations from a wonderful waitress and she was bang on - thank you, memorable night!

Very nice and good Mexican restaurant. Very nice frame. To do as a family or as a couple. Great service. The singer at the top the children loved it.

The overall volume of the music was way to loud, not possible to have a normal coversation at the table without screaming to eachother, beside that all was great, nice concept and good service

Great Mexican food, friendly service. Seat outside if there are available tables. Live dance show is an added bonus.:)

We went for Brunch and the vibe is just amazing. The food was delicious and the service was the best complement. Our waiter (Rijuv if I remember well) was super helpful and passed the vibe! The outdoor venue is so beautiful and pleasant for the sunset.
Definitely it is a place to visit.

Tacos are great, loved the veggie and shrimp. Guacamole amazing. I would just not recommend the churros, too fat, too sweet. Service is great too.

The environment and service was good! The best thing I ordered was the shrimp tacos. Also wished they had mor varieties of tequilla. Overall its a nice place to stop in and grab a bite to eat

Great food but portions are far too big and maybe this is reflected in the pricing. Look to share or you will leave loads of food.

The brunch here is great. Excellent staff, delicious food and great drinks. A big shout out to Jordan who helped us with our table when the wrong section was booked. She really went out of her way to make sure we were happy and that my family who were visiting from overseas really had a great experience. Thank you Jordan you're a star!

Absolutely honored that we chose Maya for my husband's birthday dinner! A vibrant place with great friendly courteous staffs and their chef- Mr: Guillermo was unbelievably sweet and kind! Food was beyond our imagination! We tried most of their signature dishes. Totally worth and Highly recommend

Always a pleasure dining at Maya's. It's the first restaurant that comes to mind when I want to celebrate a special occasion! Great atmosphere, great staff and great food!

Wonderful atmosphere set in serenity with the beach right beside you. The food and drinks are both fantastic. The staff is friendly, the service is good and the music too. I would certainly recommend as a date night place as well. I'd recommend the margaritas and the ceviche. Special shout-out to Carolina for taking care of us.

Went to an overpriced brunch here hat served mediocre food. Didn't even get offered a tequila in a Mexican restaurant.

We celebrated MBA graduation in Maya over their famous Friday brunch and it was amazing! Atmosphere is great, social distancing measures are in place (table distance, checking the temperature, cleaning the toilet after each visit etc.). Food is very authentic and delicious.they serve hot and cold appetizers at once which is great. Stuff is kind and very quick. We had a pregnant lady and a person allergic to dairy at the table and kind waiter Nigel made sure to bring each dairy dish in both dairy and non-dairy option, and made sure all food is cooked properly. I would suggest Maya and will go there again.

Lovely place with a wonderful rooftop terrace. So try to come here when the weather is good and not humid.
Staff are welcoming and friendly.
Drinks are good, especially the margarita.
Food was also good, beef nachos were very flavorful and the ceviche was great.
All in all a good experience and we will be back again

I might say that Maya is one of those places in Dubai where you can find curious but delicious food, amazing cocktails and good live music. Well recommended for business meetings, birthdays and weekend brunch! Try the passion fruit mojito

Really enjoyed the service, being first time in an authentic Mexican restaurant, Parviz was really helpful with menu. Loved the first bite of Cimichanga. Overall great experience.

Good vibes, live music, nice service. Love the food except for the portion sizes have gone smaller and smaller, you need atleast 2 dishes per person to feel full

Every special occasion we celebrate at Maya’s Friday Brunch!
It’s also a great place to take Out of Town guests as you get beach access. It’s a great spot to have a swim and watch the SkyDivers descend.

But the main reason is: The food is absolutely amazing with free flowing margaritas!

Lovely cold starter section with a variety of starters such as Ceviche and the best Nachos topped with their special sauce, great warm starters to follow.
The mains are absolutely scrumptious and varies between melt in your mouth steak or lobster tails, fish etc.
Finally the desert room is any sweet lovers dream!

What’s more they have live music and you can dance too if you like!

I’d highly recommend going to Maya for a great day out!

So far, the best Mexican food in town. Don't leave without trying their original Maya Margarita. The live outdoor latin band makes for a great atmosphere.

Just what you would expect from a great Mexican restaurant in Dubai. Live music. Ideal for families. Kids were dancing. Adults too. The food was great. The staff was good. I would highly recommend this place.

The bar was pretty bad (but a nice view) the food was average, but the table staff and the entertainment were excellent. Nice decor too. Just a shame it was let down by the terrible bar (not a great selection, bar staff not knowlegable) and the pretty average food.

If you are looking for Mexican in Dubai definitely definitely try out this place. Amazing setting, especially if you are sitting outside and very tasty food. I do recommend the chicken fajitas (one portion is enough for two people). The place can get pricey if you order drinks, starters and mains so keep this in mind.

This place is just amazing. The food was fantastic, our waiter was a real character and extremely attentive, while the live music was simply out of this world and had everyone on their feet by the end.

One of the best dinners I’ve had in Dubai! I ordered the mariascada which was DELICIOUS and the churros were super tasty. The best of all was the staff from Venezuela, super lovely and prepared. I will definitely come back to try more dishes on the menu. The ambience is also great!
