Love this place for its food, ambience and location.
The food here will surprise you, try Mante, Itch, Zeitoun (olive) salad, Hommos, Gdzou Patates - Spicy fried potatoes, Spanakhov Mante (the veg option) served with tomato sauce and youghurt, Fishnah Kebab - Grilled succulent Kebabs topped with wild sour cherries, all these are inexplicably sumptuous treats.
Well! No meal ends up good until you've had the desserts right?
Try Banirov Maamouls - semolina based sweet pastries stuffed with cheese, which are similar yet different from Kunafe. They have to be poked in the middle and poured in with rose flavoured sugar syrup or raspberry sauce. They are a perfect mix of crispness, softness, cheesyness and sugar.
Another great treat to sweet tooth is Moussaler - a towered ice cream topped with Armenian style cotton candy sprinkled with pistachios. The ice cream is a special one too, it's called Ashtha-traditional milk pudding with clotted cream.
The place is an innate reflection of the beautiful Armenian heritage. The distinct lamps and lights will always bring you back memories of good times.
Aline Kamakian, the lady behind this restaurant has brought to Dubai the culture and richness of Armenia, its people and the sumptuous food. The place is a must visit, drop by just for the beverage when you're having a tough day and add on some ice-cream to your plate too. Have a walk down the Sheikh Rashid Boulevard and wind up here for dinner.
Another favorite place on my dine list.

We always wanted to try different cuisine on a weekend and this time we went for Armenian cuisine. Mayrig was on top of the list for the best Armenian Lebanese cuisine, which is ideally located in the middle of the downtown boulevard. You have the option to sit indoors and outdoors with the liking of Shisha (for outdoor only).

So we sat indoor due to the weather being unpredictable during the last couple of days. Mayrig has a a great ambiance and a trending interior with big colourful glass chandeliers which is a delight.

Coming to their Menus they have wide variety of traditional Armenian Lebanese dishes with a brief description of each items. So our order for the day was Hommos soujok with minced meet & keufteh with meat and pine nuts as appetizer. They served us initially with three pieces of Keufteh with walnuts and lentil inside as complimentary. Moving onto the main dishes we ordered their signature dish fishnah Kebab, Mante, mixed grill and tap top kebab. The taste was really amazing especially their fishnah kebab with sour cherry on top with yogurt was mouth watering. Good quality service and great taste will always make Mayrig the top choice for Armenian cuisine without being heavy on the pocket.

I would recommend everyone to try this restaurant especially their fishnah kebab and mante.
