I highly commend Medcare for its outstanding staff, both in the medical team and at the reception. The doctors' expertise and the exceptional customer service, especially from Mr. Mohammed at the reception, have greatly contributed to a positive experience.

I had visited medcare discovery gardens for a knee pain that was persistent and which after diagnosed to a ligament tear. I was attended by Doctor Venkata Reddy who is very knowledgeable in the orthopedic field. He explained me and my wife the cause and treatment in simple manner and we decided to go through a surgical intervention advised by him. He was caring and provided full guidance in the process and was always responsive on WhatsApp for all our needs.

It was very good experience in Medcare DG branch. All the nursing staff is very helping and supportive. Dr. Shalini (Gynaecologist) and Dr. Safdar (General Practitioner) they are truely amazing. Their diagnose and guidance for further treatement is perfect. It was over all very good experience. Thanks

Initial registration form filling takes up maximum time.two people needs to type one the patient on a peice of paper and then the receptionist. I am sure we can. Improve a lot because not all patients will be happy filling two pages and answering 20 questions! Just an admin glitch

My Experience here was disaster! Starting from reception to doctor. I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Benazir at 6: 20.
I was in the clinic at 6, it was chaos in reception, when my time came I registered, gave insurance card, everything and receptionist told me to sit and wait, they will call my name, I asked her “ did you check if insurance is covering? ”, she answered “yes its approved already “. So insurance covered 560 or smth AED of consultation, then I was waiting and at 6: 25 I was called in, my fiance was with me we entered said hi to doctor and was going to start speaking and her phone rang, she started speaking continuously for 5-7 min.and I wouldn’t bother about this if the following situation didn’t arise. Once she finished conversion I told her about my condition, everything by myself she didn’t ask anything, almost nothing. Then I set on chair looked in something it was 2 machines that I looked, without getting up from chair. It didn’t even took 1 min. And on other clinics and normal consultation it is included in consultation.then she put this glasses on me to check, you know when you have to read letters.she put different lenses on glass to choose a fit for me. And that’s it I was the one asking questions not her. She told me my right eye is weaker than left. At the end she gave nurse the paper and told me “that’s it “ or smth. (I asked her from start of appointment, that I need glasses and to prescribe me, what numbers I have, she did.) When we left the room nurse told me now we will check if the insurance will cover for this and will call you. Meanwhile I could go to aster optical next to this and check prescribed glasses. We didn’t understand, cause insurance already cover for consultation as receptionist told us and we asked maybe 4 times to give explanation, they said its for procedures that I did, it was 3 they said, but when I was asking what are that procedures they couldn’t answer, we asked 4 times but wr didn’t get answer, we went to aster for glasses and we found out that I could do all this and even more in aster optical for free, they would prescribe glasses and send to insurance.we went back to medcare and asked receptionist again. Only new information that we got is that if insurance will not cover I will have to pay 20% which is 130, but at the same she is not sure how my insurance work. So full amount of that 3 procedure must be somewhere 650AED, I think.

Now the question is
1) Why I (with my insurance) paid 560 AED in consultation where doctor didn’t even communicate with me? I could have done all that in any glass store, FOR FREE
2) what other 3 procedures they are counting? I didn’t do anything else, or is that looking in to lenses and reading letters are charged separately? Seriously?

For optical my insurance covers only 900AED.
Consultation was somewhere 560
That 3 procedure that I don’t understand for what I am charged is somewhere 650 AED.
My prescribed glasses cost me somewhere 1200aed

If I knew MEDCARE was like thIs, I would directly go to aster or any glass store and do everything there for free)

Either they may overcharged me or receptionists were giving me wrong informations!
But the fact is also that Consultation cost with that doctor is 560 (for nothing), when I wouldn’t even pay a penny.

I need to underline that I don’t know if my pricing exact but it was 500 something, and I got all this information from hospital call centre and reception.

A very bad experience as far as timing is concerned. Proper time management need to be followed. Appointment always delaying by at least 30 mins

I have no words to explain the service in this chain of clinic and hospital that I received. Dr Shalini the gynaecologist is awesome and like a mother who is always supportive and available anytime u need her. She is the perfect goto person for gynaec concerns. After so many years of wait we had our baby girl with her. The nursing staff are more than friends. Definitely recommending Medcare when in dubai any day. The ambience and the facilities that Medcare is offering is world class.

قمت بإجراء تحاليل مخبرية لمرتين في المرة الأولى انتظرت لمدة أسبوعين ولم يصلني أية تحاليل سواء عبر الايميل او مكالمة هاتفية قمت بالاتصال وطلبت ارسال التحاليل الى الايميل الشخصي وبعد يومين او ثلاثة حصلت عليها وتم الاتصال!
وللمرة الثانية لي أسبوع كامل الان مجرية للتحاليل دون رد من قبل المركز سواءً ايميل او اتصال لاعلامي بالنتائج للاسف وقمت بالاتصال وبعد الانتظار المطول من دون رد طلبت خدمة معاودة الاتصال دون فائدة للآن!

Very bad call centre. Need to wait for 10 minutes every time. And there is never any call back. When i called them and complained they are saying lot of calls

Bad experience with the Dermatologist, he could not even diagnose properly even after doing a lab test. Wasted 2 weeks of my time and suffering. Later I approached another Dermatologist in discovery garden and hats of to the doctor he treated me well. He knew his job.

Convenient medical center in the neighbourhood of Discovery Gardens and Al Furjan. Has most of the specialisation. Great doctors that I had experience with for skin care, pediatric and GP specialisation.

Ability to book online is very convenient. Love the feature of notifying me when the Dr. Is available earlier than the booked time slot.

No choice for zero star rating. Otherwise would have given zero. Appointment bookings are highly mismanaged from hospital side. If you have confirmed booking still you have to wait for hours so the dr can see you. But when you come late even 10 minutes, they send you back. Mr
Doctor and hospital mgmt, time should be time for both customers and hospital. It is not just for doctor sir.

One of the worst clinics someone can go to. Waiting for last one hour after having a confirmed appointment and just learnt that two more patients are waiting to go before me. A patient comes with an appointment to be treated on time. Will surely complain to Dubai health authorities. Nurses and doctors are completely unprofessional

Appointment bookings are highly mismanaged. If you have confirmed booking still you have to wait for hours so the dr can see you. Very disappointed and not worth recommending to anyone.

Not recommending this clinic, specially, in emergency.
We went there today at 7: 50PM with our 2yrs son who fell down from stairs, bled so much, but the lady, Idda, sitting at the reception said there is no paediatric doctor available now and you better go to the hospital and check with surgeon.
I was literally surprised with their negligent behaviour as we came to know in just 5 mins that one paediatric doctor, Dr Sharif, is leaving in 5 mins who while leaving gave us his 5-10 mins and prescribed and one more Dr Kiran Krishanan was also available.
Staff straightly denied on the doctor’s availability and insisting us to go to hospital.
Moreover, not even a single nurse checked my son when we were asking for help and told us to go to surgeon without checkup

Very bad experience with these nurses and staff.
I hope management will have a look on this matter.

The hospital mentioned PCR covered by the insurance. Eventually they said the wrong message was conveyed by the call centre.
And the waiting journey took one hour instead of 5 minutes walk in.

Dr maya alwan is a very good gynecologist. She help me a lot. At the time of delivery she well cooperated. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I have PIH during my pregnancy that time also she cared me a lott. She always open to listen. She helped as a lot. Thank you doctor we will miss you

The PCR test result came more than the standard 24hrs. I went for PCR test but didn't receive the result on time till we reached the airport and at the time of boarding the plane. It was really a nightmare! The vacation that supposed to be exciting left us with trauma and stress! Negligence from the part of the clinic and the laboratory. Upon our return to Dubai, we booked to meet the manager. We are now at the clinic to get an explanation on what went wrong from the manager Alaaa Ghazii, considering we booked an appointment and advised what time we will pass by the clinic, the manager is not here! Not even a courtesy call nor message from the manager that he won't be able to face us. Very unprofessional! We are still waiting as we were advised by the reception that he will be here in 30mins.
The stress and hopelessness we had at the airport because of the negligence on simple pcr test result is immeasurable!

No proper response for booking a appointment, they don’t have clear internal communication, as a first experience I felt why I wasted my time

The process for covid test registration is very cumbersome takes a lot of time specially it was hectic as I had visited with my infant daughter, the process can be made easier.

I had good experience and professional observation in this medical center during my last pregnancy. Every visit to the doctor was stressless, always fast, without long-term waiting, friendly and positive. Thank you very much, dear Dr. Maya and all nurses who took care of me and baby.

I would like to commend Dr. Thaer Dhaou for he is an incredible Doctor. Not only that he has taken care of my health but also he is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with an outstanding quality of medical care. I had my nose bleeding so I was endorse to him as he is the ENT Dr.in this clinic. He would take time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. He was too concern of my health that he would like to see the progress every single day until it healed. He is my highly recommended ENT Dr.

As to the clinic in general the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care, in fact I made friends with few during my multiple visits. The place is great, the space is well utilized with a decent interior designs that makes it calm and comfy ambiance.

Busy hours are around afternoon. So I would recommend the earlier appointment the better.

Dr. Shalini was my doktor since i knew that i was pregnant till i gave birth May 28,2021 a CS delivery.she was the best doktor i have. She handle everything even i was not so confident especially my pain tolerance was so low. All mother is wishing their baby for a healthy baby and thats she did the best. Not a day goes by where I do not think about what this clinic did to my arms and become saddened.

I went to Dr. Lubna in June 2020 to get smoother appearance on my arms. As you can see in the picture, my arms are bumpy. She suggested injecting two of the bumps with steroids, but she injected it so much that it has caused massive atrophic scarring. I’ve spoken to multiple dermatologists and they’ve said that the issue was that she overinjected the bumps, but one of the worst parts of this process has been that she didn’t want to admit this and said that it was an allergic reaction and I signed a form stating that I knew the risks when I had the procedure. The issue with having a dr not admit their mistake is that they won’t agree easily to fix it.

After much wrangling, the clinic agreed to do PRP for me in November 2020 to help fix it, but the atrophic scar remains and it has only gotten worse because it is now a blueish-red. Dr. Lubna suggested I use eucerin skin lightening cream and moisturizer to fix it, but I’m pretty sure this has made it worse. She also gave me a foundation sample and suggested I cover it everyday (I already knew I could use foundation to cover bumps on my arms - I wouldn’t go to the dermatologist if I wanted to cover spots with foundation)

The clinic says there is nothing they can do to fix it and they have not provided any compensation (though they gladly took my money to make a mess of my arm in the first place). I am so unbelievably upset when I look at my arm everyday, she completely destroyed my self-confidence. I’ll be raising a medical complaint. Please, please avoid this clinic for dermatology.

I had my second delivery in Medcare Women and Children hospital. I was consulting Dr. Shalini Krishna in the Discovery Garden clinic and she was so amazing throughout my journey. The whole pregnancy was during such testing times (covid and lockdown) and she guided me extremly well throughout. I delivered a baby girl and it was a normal delivery. Dr. Shalini came to the hospital and was there all through and was so helpful during the whole process and made me feel at ease. Overall a great place for pregnancy and delivery!

Words will fall short if i start praising "Doctor Shalini Krishna Kurell" in discovery Gardens Pavillion.she is not only competent in her field but also a great human one can ever imagine. She handled my pregnancy with lots of care, love and precautions. Giving birth is hard but postpartum is the hardest. Doctor Shalini didn't leave me alone after the birth of my baby girl. What's the point of taking appointment if I have to wait 40 minutes like a walk-in? No respect! Duty manager doesn't answer phone call nor called back despite sending SMS!

If you are so successful that you don't want more patients don't give appointments!

Dr. Shalini Krishna is very professional and knowledgeable doctor. She showed lot of caring and patience for my delivery. Felt very confident and safe for entire 9 months of my delivery. She identified about preeclampsia post delivery in no time and advised to visit emergency care ASAP. She is always available for any queries. Pregnancy is not an easy journey but with the help of the best OB in town, it will surely be manageable. Thanks to Dr. Shalini. I had several complications but with her care and prompt attention to every detail, I was able to deliver my baby just in time before further complications happen. The most irresponsible customer service I've seen in Dubai. Had an appointment a month ago and was supposed to go through a specific exam. Got approval from insurance but nobody ever bother to book it. The approval expired, had to ask for that again, it got approved but again, nobody bother to book or call me and it expired one more time.

I visited Medicare Discovery Gardens. Dr. Rahul Chaudhary (Dermatologists) is a fantastic Doctor. He diagnosed the issue very well.

It was my first time there my LO had fever above 101 and the guy at reception said sorry we cannot see you because you don’t have appointment.

Wow too much for a clinic and too much for humanity and consideration towards 11 month old.

This place is full of unprofessional and uneducated "doctors" with the fastest checkup and x-ray vision. " Hi, open your mouth? Yea, it's a virus. Thake these antibiotics, panadol, cough syrup, and few more strong medications.neeeeeext patient! " - "But I still have some antibiotics that you prescribed last week, I have a high fever (39 degrees) for 4 days? "- " It's a virus, I looked at your thought".
And it turns out after a few days it was not a virus, but very dangerous pneumonia caused by bacteria. Of course, for that, I had to go to a proper clinic, not this MedCare joke.

Gave us wrong reports of some other patient with same name. Pathetic service. Not visiting this clinic again

I had very experience, had to wait minimum 1 hour evrry time even having confirmed appointments. Behaviour of front office staff is very bad, they started arguing whenever I questioned for delay.
Can the top management of MEDCARE look into this matter?
Better avoid going to this clinic.

I had a very bad experience. I had got sick on 26.10.2019 (pain in throat, fever, running nose) and booked appointment with Dr Hiba Azzam. She examined me and in the report wrote both influenza and respiratory Infection. Then as a prescription she advised to take antibiotics, loratidine and panadol for cold and flu for few days. (Of course, I didn't take antibiotics, meaning how can I take antibiotics without any test whether it is bacterial infection or virus? And it is known that for virus antibiotics won't be effective). She said that would be good to take a throat and nose Swab to indicate the origin of the sickness and meanwhile, the results of tests would be ready, I have to take the prescribed medicine. It has passed almost one week since the Swab test, and today I couraged myself to call them reminding to send results to my email. The report for throat Swab was super short-NON PATOGENIC bacteria and nurse wrote that Influenza is Negative, by one sentence, not sending even the report. If I cached neither bacteria nor virus, how could I got sick? So, dear clinic, can you please explain this uproficiency?

Very bad Hospital. All medcare are not good. I had very bad experience on last Saturday with orthopedic doctor and the nurse lied to me as well. No body bother to call back and they just give missed call and then I call back no one answers.

They all are excellent but except the family Dr. Hiba Azzam. I said my stomach distress and my back painful due to lifting heavy things. I asked her to prepare same routine medicine for my 3 months business trip. However, she gave me the prescription only for stomach ignoring my back disease and other request. In addition, she arbitrarily demanded me making blood test.
I experienced a very awful doctor in this clinic. I will never see this family doctor again.

One of the many reasons of why I choose to visit this clinic is because of their amazing doctors and nurses to their reception staff. Dr. Shalini, one of the finest doctors I got to know since early 2017 after a miscarriage. We went to see her on one of our friend's recommendation.
Me and my husband were heartbroken then. She did every bit from her side to assure us that everything will be fine soon. She made like a strategy for me to conceive and hey, I conceived in just two months of trying! We worked like a team on this.
She got me checked, monitored and guided me right from conceiving till the delivery. She was very kind to be available even after her working hours, if needed (even on her holidays), which is very rare in today's world. She is very polite, friendly and goes out of her way to help her patients.
Me and my husband will always be grateful to Shalini and her team (nurse Sindhu and Ancy). We would love to recommend her to each and everyone of you out there xx
