Medcare Women & Children Hospital

I didn't have a positive delivery experience in this hospital. Many problems and mistakes happened which made me have a trauma from this birth. I personally wouldn't recommend it and won't deliver again there. The only positive part was my doctor Agatha and her team.

Dr. Manali Dande is the best OB-GYN you can wish for! She is professional, gentle, friendly and very caring! Cannot recommend her more!

I delivered my son in this hospital this week. Special thanks to Dr. Samah Ghattas, my gynecologist, who was my doctor during this pregnancy and also conducted my delivery. She is a very professional and experienced specialist, I am so happy with her guidance and support throughout my pregnancy which was challenged by some complications but thanks to Dr. Samah resulted in a safe delivery of my beautiful baby boy in a due time. The staff of labour and anestesia department is simply amazing (special thanks to Teena, Shiny and other ladies from their shift), my labour was absolutely painless and me and my baby got all possible attention and professional care as well as thanks to the staff of after delivery department. I can say I have experienced a labor of my dream at this hospital. The room where I was staying with the baby didn't look like a hospital ward, it looked like a 5 star hotel room with all conveniences, this hospital also has amazing staff in the kitchen who cooks supper delicious food for patients. I am very impressed by this experience and highly recommend this hospital.

Had an amazing delivery experience. The staff is the best in Dubai, super prepared, and they will be comfortable and available all the time you need. Doctora wafa has been a great doctor and support for all over the pregnancy, and during my delivery experience the nurses Suma& reshma helped a lot. Very recommended!

I had my antenatal checkups and delivery in medcare women and children hospital which was an emergency CS after a long labour. Being a medical professional myself, though i had a high risk pregnancy and was anxious, i can honestly say that had it not been for those i am mentioning below I don't think i would have had such a good recovery.
My Doctor was Dr Agatha Moniz, who was always kind and patient and took care of me and my baby throughout my pregnancy which was high risk, she did my CS and was most efficient and my surgical site was quite pain free because of her exceptional skills.
I had also seen Dr Mansi Internal medicine for my medical issues who is such a lovely person who managed my medical problems quite well and so kind to me inspite of me not being regular in following up and took care of me whenever i reached out  to her.

I cannot mention my gratitude to the
Nursing staff who take care of me throughout my pregnancy. Sis Marvie is truly amazing and helpful and kind.always smiling.who used to guide me in the opd and who helps me with my prescriptions and doctor and scan appointments.
Sis chitra and romelyn who used to help me whenever i used to come for checkups and CTG, they were so kind and patient with me and guided me a lot with my doubts.

When i was admitted in labour room and so anxious during my labour,
Sis monica, sis monisa, sis sabitha, sis teena, sis femey who were taking care of me, were so kind, exceptionally skilled, and professional yet so patient friendly.
Especially i would like to mention sis femey who came with me into the OT and encouraged me and held me when i was pain and wiped my tears when i couldn't bear it. Such kind and wonderful hearted nurses are an asset to the institution and for patient care and i hope the management will acknowledge their hard work and effort in caring for their patients. Dr Nimra and Dr suaad were quite kind to me esp Dr Suaad who kept encouraging me that i could get through this.

I would really like to appreciate the ward nurses -sis Ancy, sis janetta, sis tresa, sis roshan, sis bency, sis diana, sis bincy who took care of me post op and specially the nursery staff who took such good care of my baby that left me assured she was in safe hands when i was recovering.sis fiona, Dr mercy and sis jomini were a great help in guiding me regarding breastfeeding and lactation.

They never stick to the appointments! You have to wait for around 1 hour to enter the doctor clinic!
Even when you take an appointment and go on time… always delay

It was a pleasant experience visiting the hospital. The wait time was short and staff were good. A special thanks to Ms. RV Ronnavev for her assistance. It's quite rare to find someone who genuinely shows kindness, compassion, and care for the patients. She is very professional, friendly and helpful (the hospital should hire more like her) - she is such a gem!

My wife and I had the privilege of welcoming our son into the world at this hospital on May 21st, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care we received, especially from the night team nurses - Beena, Femy, and Vilvy.

From the moment we arrived at the hospital, these three nurses went above and beyond to ensure our experience was as smooth, comfortable, and memorable as possible. Their professionalism, kindness, and expertise were outstanding. They provided unwavering support, both physically and emotionally, throughout the entire labor and delivery process.

Beena, Femy, and Vilvy not only demonstrated their exceptional medical knowledge but also their genuine compassion. They made us feel like we were in the safest hands, and their calm and reassuring presence alleviated any anxiety we had. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring my wife's well-being was a top priority.

Their dedication to their profession and the care they provide is truly commendable. We can't thank them enough for making the birth of our son such a positive and beautiful experience. We feel truly blessed to have had these remarkable nurses by our side.

If you're considering this hospital for maternity care, I highly recommend it, thanks in no small part to the incredible team of nurses, including Beena, Femy, and Vilvy. They are the epitome of healthcare professionals who make a difference in the lives of their patients.

I am ever grateful to this hospital, the doctors, and nurses for bringing my baby safely into our arms.

They stepped in and made a quick call on the emergency situation in the labor room and handled it perfectly. Thank you to Dr. Shalini (my gynecologist), Dr. Reeja (obstetrician and surgeon), Dr. Nupur (anesthesiologist), and Dr. Souad (general practitioner) for making things the best for me and supporting me.

Then come the angels of that hospital. The extraordinary care, love, and attention they gave me during my 5 days in the hospital was top-notch. They deserve the best! I have a few names of nurses to mention here:

Shiny, Agy, Aneeta, Roshan, Catherine, Tincy, Regina, Lini, nurse assistant Sandra, and more. Each one of them is dedicated to their job and serves each patient extraordinarily. Thank you.

The rooms are really good, spacious, and have all the facilities. Housekeeping is just a call away.

The catering from Basil & Spices is great. Overall, I am a satisfied patient except for one thing:

The guy from the AlRawda typing center charged us more for the baby's birth certificate, saying that the certificate would be provided on an urgent basis. He charged us AED 800 without any explanation, and we have not received the birth certificate yet. It has been 5 days

Despite this one issue, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hospital to give birth in. The doctors, nurses, and staff are top-notch, and the facilities are excellent.

I am extremely grateful to the entire MEDCARE staff for providing exemplary service during the entire delivery process. Kudos to all the doctors and nurses for going above and beyond the call of duty. We always felt that we were in extremely safe hands!

Our daughter was born here and we are extremely happy to have made the choice. Doctor Agatha was an extremely professional and had an amazing personal touch to the interactions. We were extremely happy with all the infrastructure, the nurses and midwifes were fabulous, check in and check out was spot on, all in all we are extremely grateful to the staff for all the help they have give us:)

I visited this centre to complete a PCR test. It was very quick and easy, and the service was amazing. Mai Alaa Kheder went above and beyond helping me access and sign up for the Alhosn app and ensured it was working. Thank you very much!

Very nice and supportive staff. A big shout out to sister Saumya, who did a lot to support us and our child during the NICU stay.

I was sceptical to use the PCR testing centre tent alongside Sheik Zayed road, but ended up using it because all of the medical centres only opened at 9am. This centre is open 24/7, no queues, hassle free and the staff are so helpful. Once registered, I was in and out in a matter of minutes. The results came through in less than 4 hours and they have the QR code on, so can be used for travel purposes! This will be my regular centre, although I hope not to have to use this service anytime soon A special thanks to Mai who helped regsiter my husband so he just needs to walk in later and saves us all time!

One of the best hospital experience. Dr. Agatha Monis is really very professional and helpfull. I should definitely mention about all the nurses that I came across, everyone are super patient and very kind and helpful all the time.

My entire family (Mother, Wife, Son, Daughter and myself) a loyal to Medcare women and children hospital. Dr. Sonia, Dr. Pravakar, Dr. Nidhi and Dr. Mansi all were awesome and no word to explain how good doctors they are. 03.10.2021 - 13: 00 Hrs, I had an appointment with Dr. Jobeetha Yoosuf and myself and wife reached the hospital exactly at 13: 00 Hrs and the Nurse immediately started asking me you should come at 12: 00 Hrs to apply some cream before procedure which was communicated and I was surprise. I told her I have an appointment at 13: 00 and I am here exactly on time. She was running here and there to doctors cabin and at 13: 44 she returned to me saying she will book appointment for next week as I supposed to come at 12: 00 which I did not agreed and I mentioned her that I requested my Boss at work just for today and I can not re-request all the time and she Immediately changed her story saying there is too many patents and Doctor will not able to assist me. I asked her a written letter from hospital which I can able to show my boss that the appointment is cancel because doctor is busy. She pretending that the receptionist is typing a letter for you. At 14: 22 Hrs, Nurse returned to me saying she can not issue any letter and left very rudely and meantime a lady wearing blue jacket approached me introducing without her name "I can see your conversation with nurse and I am her Boss". I told let me cut short as doctor can not assist me she should not give me an appointment.hospital called me and they are the one gave Date and time of appointment. She told me to wait for sometime and doctor will do the procedure however I felt insulted and left. I can say that they are decrementing by choosing people at the hospital. I called 800 -Medcare however there was no feedback given to me afterwards. In my life I will not choose the same doctor and in public I will not recommend the same. This is my personal experience which I shared. Thank you

Really professional hospital, nice DR.manali and very professional and helpful, I got delivery in medcare. Very nice experience, and thank all nurses, one nurse really helpful, really professional and friendly, her name is Glaish.

Just visited their PCR tent service. It’s awesome. Open 24x7. Zero lines (on Saturday evening at 7pm). 2 mins to fill out the online form and another 1 min to complete the test. Aed 150 cost but super quick and easy service.

Jeevan and Divya were the staff involved. Much appreciate their prompt services.

Doctors & Nurses where very organised and coordinated during the delivery of our twins, we where really impressed, the aftercare of our twins during NICU to Ward was very professional and i must say i admire their attention to all details! My wife and i and most grateful!

Ahmad Taha who works at the Screening Center is the best person you could meet. He made our lives so easy and he remembered me and my family names and numbers. He could get you info, payment and customer experience from in to out within 3 min. And if the tent is loaded it takes 7 min for which other places takes 2 hr drive through or 2-3 hr at other hospitals. The way managed the tent and it’s team is unbelievable. Thanks Ahmad.

I recently had an emergency surgery in this hospital and they literally saved my life. Thanks to all the emergency staff as well as Dr Wafa who did the surgery and the anesthesia dr (who I cannot remember his name) and all the nurses who took care of me for two days. If you have a pregnancy related concern they have all the expertise and best doctors!

I would like to share my thanks for the efforts of Dr. Dima for her support and care throughout for 3 days where also she was in continuous touch with the nurses for the updates of my daughter. Diagonosis was best by her.

Today was my delivery in Med care w & C. Honestly the best staff ever. Friendly and kind specially the ones who took care of me during delivery process (Deepa, Suma, Shiny, reenu) all the best to this team and doctor Samah as well.

NICU at med care took such good care of my baby.all the nurses are sooooo caring and vigilant all the time talking to baby looking after them. Doctor Essam is so very kind and keeps you updated about baby's health

The worst experience ever. I thought I would give the hospital another chance a week ago but I was severely disappointed. No follow up no nothing! I've called 3 times to speak to the doctor I went to and she did not even have the decency to call me back.just had her nurse call who had difficulty expressing herself in English!

So glad to have chosen this hospital, from the consultations to delivery; the staff was really courteous and professional a big shout out to Dr. Agatha Moniz and the labor room staff who looked after me; a big thank you to nurses Gail, Roselin, Agy & Beena the dream team I could wish to be by side for the birth of my baby boy

The worst experience ever, if you need too book an appointment at 1 pm you should attend it at 2 pm and still you need to wait, on the other hand they will request a 100 unnecessary tests to drain your insurance

Dr. Sonia is the best doctor and Gyn. She is very friendly, attentive and caring to all her patients. So down to earth, I really like her. She helped and treated me like her own child during the whole treatment and throughout my pregnancy. Would like to give her 10/10. She is the best. Would definitely recommend her.

The hospital is like home, like a hotel. Had luxurious experience. So happy and satisfied with the team.

The labour room staffs are amazing, no more words to say about them. They done an excellent job during my wife delivery. Staffs are Shiji, Roseline, Shija, Shamily and Teena and Special thanks to Dr Nabila keleoa.

Amazing and highly professional support from both NICU and Gynec.team. Well experienced Nursing team and doctors, especially we are thankful to Dr. Seema Syam (Gynecologist) and Dr. Marija (Neonatologist) for the great care. Highly recommended

I must say overall services provided are excellent. Our 2nd baby was born here and it has been very smooth experience for us. Support Staff has been very compassionate and kind, always walking extra mile to ensure I have regular updates and mother, baby are comfortable. Support staff has got the excellent skills, they do explain all procedures, medication etc not only in detail, but also ensure we have understood it correctly. Good bless all of them.

The worst customer service you can find. I had a vaccine appointment for my son today, before the appointment with half hour I received a message that your appointment has been canceled without notifying me or calling or find for me another doctor and when I called their call center they told me sorry the doctor has started her EID holiday without any kind of respect or caring about their patients.

Medcare women’s and children’s were I delivered my baby are amazing. All nurses and doctors take so much care of their patients. It makes the whole experience much easier and smooth with the experience they entail. Dr Nabila is one of the best gynaecologist and would highly recommend her. She cares so much for her patients and communicates all details. She forms a bond with you and truly is passionate for her work. She also works from medcare motor city.

Had a wonderful experience with the facility, with Dr Paramjit Luthra my Gynaecologist, she took best care for me throughout the process her nurse Evit was very helpful in OPD, staying at the hospital and post delivery care was gold standard, Nurses were extremely caring and helpful throughout. Highly recommended, in COVID times as its a specialized facility best in DUbai

The worst hospital in Dubai, my daughter was admitted in ICU (3 weeks old) they had no problem keeping us waiting for 2 hours while she had breathing problems till the insurance responded.
They ask to keep her under observation for 48 hours and her mother had to stay with her to beast feed they refused to give us a room, food or private space to breast feed until I went to billing and settled the bills upfront and after if did they did not give my wife who is breadt feeding food for 12 hours as the kitchen department is independent from billing. This what they gave me as an excuse

I'm completely satisfied.

My wife was admitted there for delivery.

They cared and supported us perfectly. I don't know how to explain. I am thanking to Dr Shiva Harikrishnan and team, Dr Raji, Labor Room staffs, OT staffs, Anastasia team, Ward staffs, pediatric nursery staffs, administration team, billing teams. Etc. All these staffs are amazing.

Again, thank you for you all for the wonderful caring and support.

Very bad in appointments. If you came 10 minutes before your appointment time, you will wait for minimum 1 hour.

If I could give this clinic a zero star, I would. There is clearly a lack of efficiency, organization, and respect for the patients time. My appointment was booked for 12: 45 with doctor Nabilia, who I was just seeing for a quick referral to get a ultrasound request. I arrived to my appointment at 12: 20 pm. I ended up waiting till 1: 20 pm until I had to run up to her nurse and beg her to fit me in between patients so I could get my simple referral. The doctor eventually gave it to me and wrote “urgent” on the document so I could do my ultrasound today. I go down to the radiology and the receptionists offered me in appointment next week on Saturday! I came FROM ZAHRA HOSPITAL to get an appointment sooner for my ultrasound, and I was told I could get my ultrasound today. Unbelievable waste of time. I waited for 30 minutes for the receptionist to check in with the doctor to fit me in and they didn’t get back to me. The best I could get was “maybe” for a 10 am appointment tomorrow, where I’d have to be squeezed in between patients so I don’t even have a set appointment. After my ultrasound I will never ever come back to this hospital. Unbelievable.

Doctors are very competent and no complaints there. However the wait times are ridiculous and they are extremely disorganized. They have only 1 nurse to draw blood. There were 10 people in front of me and I waited for 40 minutes just to draw blood after my consultation. The other time they lost my papers so I had to return another day fasting for my blood test. So every time you go to a simple consultation you need to reserve 2 hours at least of your time. Third world country hospital standard.

The NICU team has been exceptional. The level of dedication, medical care and support shown to our baby has been great. The doctors and nurses were also very good in communicating everything transparently and clearly to us and were patient enough to address the million and one questions that we had! Thank you very much for everything you have done for us!

First I took appointment I came on time and I had to wait 2 hours just for my appointment and people who was in waiting list was going ahead.

Med care women and children hospital is the best hospital for all women and children related problems as I delivered my baby there and I would recommend it to all, If planning to welcome your mini loved ones, as there staff is cooperative, friendly and makes sure that every patient is equally cared starting from welcoming the patient to their farewell from super cosy and comfortable rooms. Very good experience with all staffs. Infrastructure is good.

Our baby spent a week in NICU and he was well taken care of / closely monitored by the Doctors and Staff. They were helpful with regards to breastfeeding and making us sure that we are confident to take care of the baby. The nurses (aside from their Doctor) who took care of our baby gave us update regularly and when asked. Thank you MEDCARE NICU!

The team at NICU at Medcare was very professional and they know how to take care of new borns with health issues. Our daughter was admitted there due to a complication at delivery. They were extremely attentive and vert careful in taking care of our child, and of all the most, it was their love for children which really moved us and it was evident that their care is beyond their profession. Hats off to the NICU team. Well done! And thank you for taking care of our daughter.

Women & children hospital with 1 OB/Gyn on duty in the entire hospital! I waited 3 hrs to have an emergency pregnancy ultrasound!

Pharmacy waiting time is unacceptable: (recruiting one or two more staff to satisfy the customers seems very difficult got them

So much patience with desperate parents. Unbelievable human beings, which is so rare to find. Empathic, patient, knowledgeable doctors that actually care about your child, treat your child nicely. This is so rare to find nowadays. Also, the other stuff seemed so polite and extremely welcoming, positive and understanding.
We rushed to this amazing hospital to the emergency department with our child. The response time was so quick. Very accomodating, kind, professional stuff and doctors are (once again) amazing human beings. They explained everything so patiently, treated child with care and tenderness. We left the hospital without subscription for useless treatments but with good doctors' recommendations.

Had a awful experience with hospital and its management of patients appointments. Booked a appointment @ 4: 40 and reached hospital at 4: 25. After checking with nursing stations we were informed that there is one patient inside with doctor and one waiting outside. Everytime upon checking same answer was given and no one was bothered that they are not meeting the commitment. At last after one hour I was called for vitals and then again informed that I have to wait for 30 more minutes. I don't think this is the standards which hospital management must have set for patients handling. Upon complaining with duty manager I was told that they will check and come back but seems no one bothers here. Please avoid consulting dr monali if you want to avoid above all or else be ready to book a appointment and wait for one and half hour to consult doctor. A doctor who is unable to manage her patients appointments how she will manage patients problems
