Mediclinic Arabian Ranches

I recently visited Mediclinic Arabian Ranches, and I must say it’s one of the health care facilities that truly stand out.

I had a great experience with Dr. Bais, she is knowledgeable and warm in her manner, I couldn’t recommend her enough.
The only negative is that Parkview was meant to call me and arrange for another procedure and they didn’t do that.

Dr Aagje and Dr Rima Sleiman were brilliant, I am so glad that I have found kindred spirits and Dr's who get to know me, understand me and explain clearly. Thank you

A massive shout out to Dr. Reinette Bester and the team! She explained everything so well regarding our newborn and, left us feeling empowered by the end of the visit! She's truly a treasure. The reception and nursing staff are also so friendly and helpful!

Rude approach from receptionists, when you arrive don't expect greetings or something like "how can I help you". They just keep looking in computers, pretending they don't see you. Registration took long since she kept telling me she can't find file of my daughter. Fair enough, I understand, it can take time. But be nice and friendly. Maybe apologize once, I'm waiting there with 2yrs old restless kid and administrator name May face looks annoyed. It's not my fault your system is not updated! Asking again and again if I changed phone number (10 years in Dubai I still have same). After whole process of registration, she didn't say anything like "sorry for waiting" nor where to go to see the doctor, my first time there. Pediatrician doctor very nice, professional. But I can't recommend this branch at all because of these "welcoming" staff. Never had such a bad first impression in Dubai medical places like this.

I had many physiotherapy sessions there, the reception and accounts are very nice and helpful, but most of all my therapist Ms Lezil Wicker was absolutely awesome, treated my problems and was as well a great mental and emotional support. Thank you so much ️

The physiotherapy department in Arabian Ranches is top notch thanks to Ms. Liezel Wicker. She always goes the extra mile and the session never feels rushed like in all other phyiso places I have been to. She’s so good at what she does and she’s so good at human interaction. I can not recommend her enough

My first and hopefully last time at this clinic. Doctor Crystal and the nurse were wonderful- efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. But the front desk is a waste of time. First I waited 10min for registration to start, even though the two people at billing were not helping anyone. The registration lady seemed to have challenges with the person after me and my insurance. I had to scramble to call my broker even though my provider was approved. This did not come up once at the Dubai Mall location a couple weeks ago. The clerk here just didn’t do a thorough check on first glance. So average 7-10min per visitor. I also watched her have an issue with the person after me. It was frustrating.

Mediclinic has been the only clinic I’ve visited since I got to Dubai. I chose Dr Mesrure Kaplan as my gynecologist and she delivered my third baby. She’s amazing. Dr Mesrure’s bedside manner is one of her greatest assets besides many other amazing qualities. She was patient and took her time to explain all the procedures to me. Can’t recommend her enough.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mesrure Kaplan (ob/gyn) since last year and she’s absolutely the best doctor I’ve visited in Dubai. She takes the time to explain everything to you, is kind, compassionate, attentive and thoughtful and clearly has your best interest at heart. She doesn’t push any unnecessary medicines or procedures and keeps your motivated and positive. My experience with her during every procedure, test, appointment and even a surgery has been amazing. I recommend her to all my friends and family!

Front desk service no help when if you don’t have an appointment.
My wife visually running and fever with high blood pressure, we got shown away to Parkview Hospital! Imagine an emergency! Would they be able to cope? !? !

Excellent facility, helpful clinic staff and nurses. My doctor, Dr. Mesrure is thorough and always took the time to educate and present all options for treatment.

Dr Aagje Bais, is by far the best doctor I have ever experienced in my life. She is extremely knowledgeable and approaches everything with kindness and care.

Want to share my very good experience with Dr. Aagje Bais. I found out about her from my friend. So it was my first visit to Arabian ranches clinic. Dr. Aagje Bais is caring, attentive, MEGA PROFESSIONAL and very positive. Wish all doctors in the world were like her.

Dr Aagje Bais (Obstetrics & Gynae) is amazing. She is compassionate, caring and understanding with excellent clinical knowledge. The nursing & admin staff treated me courteously and managed my appointment and care extremely well.

Unfortunately Doc. Aagja refused to see my daughter today because We were 15min late, I apologised for being late and I explained that I don’t have a car I come by taxi, my appointment was for my daughter who was not feeling well, but still the doctor refused to see us, I do understand that being late does effect the schedule, but she had time to see my daughter (next patient’s appointment should be 45 min after my daughter’s) I wasn’t taking anybody’s turn, in fact it was only a follow up that needed 10 min max.too bad she seemed a nice doctor when I first visited with my daughter, it does feel wrong when there is a doctor near a patient and they refuse to check on patients for being late (especially if the clinic was empty and there were no patients waiting)

Have never seen such a rubbish doctor before! ‘Zoukhra Ibrajimova’!
Took my daughter with over 40 degrees of fever to this ‘family medicine’! Absolutely useless! Not listening to the patient and wanting to prescribe antibiotics within the first three mins without a diagnostic!

We had to tell her to at least go ahead for some checks & swabs to understand where the sickness is coming from? !
Is it a virus or a bacteria? An influenza or a flu? !
She was so arrogant with poor English wanting to get rid of the patient.we were surprised hearing the result of the swabs will take a day! Whereas in reality it takes half an hour! We had to push and suggest to go to parkview to get the swabs done there to get a rapid result rather than her suggesting it and be competent! Instead, she said she can cancel the appointment in the system! So rude.

Ended up with some nonsense medicine that we didn’t even bother getting! No idea why Mediclinic is bringing such incompetent doctors! Not even they aren’t knowledgeable but also they don’t have manners.

Great experience when visiting Obstetrics & Gynecologist Dr. Aagje Bais at Mediclinic Arabian Ranches.

With Dr. Aagje you know where you stand, she is very knowledgeable, straight to the point and truly takes her time for you. About a year ago I had my first appointment with Dr. Aagje, and I immediately felt at ease when I met her, she is very caring and interested and I am glad to find a trustworthy prof.doctor in Dubai.

I highly recommend becoming her patient! She always makes your day much brighter

I’ve been going to the clinic for physiotherapy with Liezel for over a year, who is not only a very professional practicioner, but also such a lovely and caring person, always going the extra mile to help.
We have also seen Dr Najoomi (orthopaedics) and Dr Bester (paediatrics) and have been very happy with their services.

I had the best of services from Mediclinic Arabian Ranches. Thanks to Dr. Rebecca and the awesome nursing and admin staff for their outstanding care.

The clinic itself was clean, organized and very professional. The doctor I went to see was Dr Aagje Bais, a gynecologist I saw for the first time but was extremely attentive, friendly, inquisitive and made sure I had a safe space to say all I wanted. She also seemed knowledgable and thoroughly explained everything for me. Would highly recommend both Mediclinic Arabian Ranches and Dr Bais.

We visited Dr Bester for an appointment for our son, she was very knowledgeable and she gave us enough time to explain everything thoroughly. The nurse was was very gentle and helpful. The care provided throughout our visit was high standard. We would highly recommend Dr Bester to any family.

Great clinic, excellent doctors covering both general family medicine and specialisms. The dentist and physio are also great. I only dropped a star because the front desk aren't great, and one is bizarrely quite aggressive.

The doctors that my wife and I have seen here over the past few years have always been very good and helpful.

The administration staff however are on balance, terrible.

They make promises they don’t keep, make appointment bookings at the wrong time, don’t call back when they say they will, send inaccurate insurance cover requests and so on and so on.

It’s such a shame as the doctors are lovely but with support staff this poor, it’s really not worth going to Mediclinic AR - go to a different provider instead where they pay attention properly and keep their promises.

I've been coming here for three years and they're not improving. Disorganised nurses and billing procedures, inconsistent medical care. Dr Nicholas is an excellent GP, but there are much better facilities available in Dubai. Hard to understand how Mediclinic justifies this quality at these prices. Avoid.

I've been going to Mediclinic Arabian Ranches for years and I would never go anywhere else. Dr. Aagje is my gynaecologist there and she is the best. Always bubbly, caring and professional. I can highly recommend her to any woman out there.

I went to see Dr. M- the dermatologist. Unfortunately, he has zero people skills and bedside manner. That was the least of my issues, the real problem was that he was so condescending and uninterested in actually finding out my issue and reason for the visit. I ended up walking out halfway through the appointment. What a waste of time.

I have been having such experience whenever I visited Mediclinic Arabian Ranches but this time it is just not acceptable. Admin staff is really worst here. Day before yesterday when I visited them they asked me to do the blood test and x-ray. I waited for x-ray only to find out they don’t have anyone to do it so they asked me to come any day after 8 for both (given short staffing due to COVID I was ok with that). I visited them today sharp at 8 to find out
1. X-Ray person is again not available and will only come by 9 (when they told me other day you can be here by 8)
2. Blood test is not possible as insurance company approval hasn’t come. Helloooo then why didn’t you tell me that earlier and asked me to come at 8 AM in morning. You could have told me earlier that this require approval and we will call you for that. Why you are taking patients for granted.

After this time I am never visiting you guys again (except emergancy). Really bad experience (and that too multiple time)

Avoid it if you can. Unwelcoming staff - you always seem to bother them when you come in and avoid the medical treatment at all costs. I went twice. Once for me and once for my 2 years old daughters - both time I had to leave in scare and go to city hospital - although it’s the same chain it’s 100 times better.
They once wanted to put stitched on the head of my 2 years old, who half a little cut and even suggested general anesthesia because she was too agitated! I took her back right away, went to city hospital - they put two strips and all was fine- I can’t imagine that a doctor would suggest a general anesthesia on a little child for 2 stitches.
I went today to have a bandage changed - the doctor seemed lost at the prospect of doing but went through. 2 hours later back home and in pain I realized that the bandage was not well done and the wound not properly clean.so had to go to city hospital again.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Fantastic service. The best medi clinic branch I have visited.

I have not been able to get through to this clinic since I was told that my prescription would be emailed (in a while), that was yesterday afternoon and still not a word from them and no one answers the phone! Is it because they are short staffed and have too many patients? Far from it!

I have been trying to make a appointment for my son, I have called more than 12 times in the last 45min, the phone has been thrown down once in my ear, the rest of the time it just rings, this is horrible!

I have been using Mediclinic Arabian Ranches for a few years now for both GP and specialist services and I have found their service and attention to any questions I may have to be very professional. I highly recommend them.

So my son needed some dental fillings, booked appointments at Arabian Ranches Mediclinic, the quotation came some 9700+ dirhams for two sessions. But since the appointments were not working with his college schedule, we booked him at another clinic, a bit farther in Al Barsha.
The quotation came at 2500 dirhams.
Now I need to know, what was the difference in price for?
I've gathered a few theories
1- The posh landscape surrounding the Arabian Ranches Mediclinic
2- The-not-really-parquet vinyl flooring
3- they're robbing us

Called to make an app for this afternoon, was transferred to ‘billing’ who would let me know if my insurance is covered (why reception don’t have a comprehensive list of all the insurance they accept is beyond me) which rang out twice. Called reception again (different person) who said my insurance is not covered (not sure how he knows yet the other didn’t) he said my Gold insurance wasn’t covered but platinum and silver are.managed to find the list provided by my insurance which does in fact specify this clinic as being covered by my insurance. Please educate your staff! Or at least provide them with the information they need! Wasted my time and you lost a patient!
