Mediclinic Parkview Hospital

Our little bundle of joy came along a month early and after spending some time in the NICU he came back home to two very cautious, tentative and stressed out but very relieved parents. Multiple questions spinning in your head if you’re doing it right or not, are we doing something that jeopardizes his health or well being that we weren’t aware of. We went from watching his vital signs in NICU every moment to him laying in a cot as we watched his every breath.

We decided that we needed someone to validate what we were doing and support us to get things right for the best of his welfare and for our peace of mind. Rhiann did just that and more with a great bubbly personality and a smile she answered every question we had and gave us the reassurance we needed to know we were on the right path. My wife and I would recommend the home visits to anyone. As first time parents you’re tired, stressed and full of worries, this service helped us set markers in the early days for his progress and begin to settle into our lifelong jobs as parents. Thank you Rhiann you’ve been great!

I would like say thank you Mediclinic Parkview Maternity department for taking care of me and my baby during our stay at the hospital. I highly recommend MPAR, the nurses are well organized. They helped me to ensure to take my medicine on time and regularly check my condition and my baby. I would like to say thank you as well to “Mubi” Mubashira, 1st day of my admission she is the one who assisted me and take me to the operating room. After my CS operation, we were in the recovery room and she started to help me to let my daughter latch for feeding. Thanks to Mubi who encourage me to continue breastfeeding and until now I am proud to be one of those breastfeeding mom.

Special thanks to my OB, Doc Sheila Labrador, from the very beginning I am sure that she is the best OB who will take care of me and my baby. I delivered last year, November 24,2023 and as a CS patient, I really thought that it will be that so hard since it’s a C-section. I was surprised that on the same day I was able to stand and walk by my own. Until now, I don’t feel any pain on my wound area. I was able to take care of my baby from the moment I was on the hospital until now without any pain. Thank you so much Mediclinic team.

Having been in Mediclinic system for sometime now, including City hospital, Dubai Mall, Al Safouh, Dubai Hills, and Parkview, for a range of health care and for our entire family, administratively this is the worst run facility. From waiting over an hour on booked appointments, to arrogant reception behaviour, being booked with wrong specialists on internal referrals, long waits in weeks for urgent tests, I am considering pulling out of Mediclinic for my family care alltogether. Tried to raise a concern and on Duty Manager declined to meet. Was told Ops manager is on leave.

While the doc and all the services are excellent, the waiting time is ridiculous. 30 mins to wait for a doc consultation, please manage your appointment slots better. We aren’t in that day and age where this is common.

Excellent by Mediclinic. All the doctors were super helpful. In the outpatient division Mr Abijith was very helpful towards me in Parkview. Hats of to him. Keep up the good service Mediclinic.

Parking it’s take time to find it this is bad in your hospital. But your reception very kind and helpful. Thank you for Omnia today she was help me, she closed already her system but when I came to her she open it again to arrive me because her colleagues were busy. Those 5 stars for her.

Very long time to respond on anything they said we come back in 30 minutes but they come back after 2 hours and more I will not come back again to this hospital I finished from morning and still keep me until 6 pm? And the staff need to be more because only in emergency one doctor to check? !

Please avoid to make bookings at ENT with Dr. Peter Loizou. I had the ever worser situation in Dubai, with a hospital, today at 14.20pm, being in the middle of hard traffic to reach the hospital earlier with 20min before appointment time. His assistant, call me in a very "normal friendly" way telling me in the middle of the traffic that my appointment is canceled and I should reschedule.
If doctor doesn't have patient booked and he would like to enjoy Friday, you should tell me from the morning, not 40min before, me driving on a hard traffic to be in time.
Is very bad experience and such nurse and doctor are not honoring the name and reputation of Mediclinic in Dubai.
Shame on them.
Hope somebody from Mediclinic will take care on them.

I am giving 5 stars mainly for the great support offered by Mrs. Cldtilda Pinto (Staff Nurse-Radiology Department). She tooks such great care before, during and after the CT scan. I am so thankful for her kindness, and support. In fact, she explained to me the procedure very well and helped to control the anxiety.

Extremely bad customer service. Was trying to book annual check up, it took me 2 weeks, still haven't got booked even though it was approved by insurance.

This place is horrible for ER cases. My husband had a fever of 40 degrees and went by himself to the ER barely able to walk. They made him wait for 2 hours and gave him no attention whatsoever. He even asked for water and nobody attended to him. At the end he felt so bad he just left and came back home. His fever is going up and I'm about to call him an ambulance. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I was admitted to the hospital for the surgery of my DNS, the location is very accessible, hospital is very clean with complete facilities, the staff are very attentive and they made their job very well.

I personally say thank you to Dr. Tamer and the team for handling my surgery and all are went good and safe, thank you again Doc. BREATH TAKING

Worst medical and customer service experience ever, I went to emergency after 4 hours of continuous vomiting and I was misdiagnosed with ear infection although no one even checked my ears, i was prescribed unnesscesary medication, went under not needed lab tests, and finally had on my bill things that I did not even do. And was discharged after 2 hours with a 4k bill, i complained and it seems their customer care team is as neglecant as their medical team, thank you mediclinic

I have twice, recently taken my husband to the emergency department. Both experiences were all I could hope for. Dr Raed was so calming and created a wonderful atmosphere in the whole department. You just feel everything is going to be alright. In an emergency this is where you want to be.

Reservations are just horrible! By phone, email, and especially the useless online chat, getting an appointment confirmation is so hard. Doctors and experts at the clinics are great. Low ranking due entirely to pulling my hair out to book an appointment every single time.

Very unprofessional. Still waiting for the billing team to respond to us with the final bill.no one picks upthe phone. No one is bothered as they have already taken the money from us in cash

I had great experience in the hospital. Dr. Archana took good care of me and my fears. I even spoke to many doctors to take other opinions and I always got the same opinion she gave me and they told me I should keep going with her. The room was really nice after the surgery. Everything is so clean and everyone was so nice to me form reception to nurses to the doctors

The slowest PCR drive through procedure in the UAE, 5 cars in front of you and you stay for minimum 30-40 minutes. They are understaffed and need to work a lot faster in order to finish faster.

Do NOT do pcr here, extremely slow, i waited 70 minutes when less than 7 cars were in-front of me

I loved the professional yet personalized service and care my daughter got from the staff of the psychiatric and psychologic departments, specifically Nurse Fatema, Dr Serena and Dr Valentina. My daughter opened up nicely with them and that fostered an efficient treatment plan. Good stuff

The facilities in Parkview for Physiotherpy is one the top and best in UAE.

Also high professional physiotherapist. (Dr. Kelsey Chatburn).

Customer service (Anjali) is very helpful and customer oriented.

Not trust worthy at all. They charged me and my insurance company for tests they didn’t do. When I asked for refund of my co pay they made all sorts of excuses.
I went to there emergency section late in night so they knew I was very sick and wont stay longer to discuss the matter.
The cashier was very rude and sarcastic.
Strongly recommend to check bills carefully before paying.

Need lots of improvement in pharmacy section. Waiting time and professionality of some staff need to be reconsidered

Today we went to Parkview hospital for an Emergency. My wife was having a severe abdominal pain she had to wait for 1hour in pain at the waiting area before entering the emergency. Once we get in they gave her a room but then we waited more than 15minutes no one came to see her even after asking multiple time. We finished by giving up and we exit the emergency section and we went to the speciality section as We thought to go to see a Gasto Doctor on a walkin as she used to go to Dr. Usama. Dr Usama refuse to see her on a walkin basis he just asked the nurse to inform us to go and see an Emergency! We dont understand how Dr can refuse to see an in-pain patient (at least he could show some empathy and receive us for 5 min reassure us). It seems at mediclinic what count is to just did the schedule not really care about patient!

After wasting 2 hours in pain at mediclinic parkview hospital we went to another hospital where they take care of us (Thanks Emirates Hospital and Dr Iyad very professional)

Just to add on the emergency part of Parkview hospital it wasnt the first time. It happened to us before where we had to wait more than an hour to enter the emergency.

We were going to parkview as it was the nearest hospital which is logic for an emergency but definitely it will be the last time we will step there.

One of the best hospital ever! All staffs are highly skilled, well trained and dedicated. I’m so grateful and thankful that it’s just few minutes away from our home. This is where I used to bring my son every time he got sick and he always taking cared of properly. Thank you all for helping and assisting us all the time! Highly recommended 100/10 xxx

A good hospital, though, is a little far from where I live. There can be a long wait to see the physician at least for me.

Highly recommend the dental, family medicine and pediatric departments at Parkview hospital. They have punctual Dr's who are attentive and considerate to the needs of the patient and friendly staff that are willing to go the extra mile to help. Keep it up!

Nice hospital and great staff, I’ve been seeing Dr. Aisha for my prenatal check-up and she’s very kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend her and the hospital.

I went to the hospital recently for a PCR, staff was very friendly and very efficient in the process. Also, received my results in just 12 hours which was also a huge plus.

I also looked around the place and was really impressed by the sports centre as it had various new gym equipment and a beautiful aesthetic with unique lighting.

One of the best medical facility here in Dubai. The staffs are friendly and courteous. Best clinic for babies and kids too. The doctors and nurses are knowledgeable and answers any doubts you may have. The equipment are top of the line.

Got very bad experience with a lady who answered my call. I was asking where I should go to get my results for my breast ultrasound but she wasnt helpful and a bit rude. She is not professional.

It is a waste of time/money. It is taking them 3 days to request an approval from my insurance provider. I called more than 5 times to get details, but no one knows what i am talking about. Their internal insurance department is not picking neither my calls nor their colleagues calls. Doctor nurse is not picking up or responding to requests.
The only good thing here is the amazing doctor I consulted, apart from that.it is a total mess

A brilliant healthcare provider. Rheumatologist, Dr. Nada is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered in my life. She is a real advocate for her patients and ensures the best treatment and care is provided. Admin staff are always helpful and friendly, and nursing staff are compassionate. Thank you Mediclinic Parkview Hospital for always setting a high standard.

We were their patients for years, had a small issue with their radiology team and raised a complaint, sent emails to their HO. No one even bothered to comeback to us and they send messages that the issue is resolved! Honestly it makes me question if a complaint they can’t handle how can they handle a health issue! We are moving to another place where they know how to address concerns

We have visited the Mediclinic Parkview on 16th September and the doctor asked for an MRI which is subjective to insurance approval, till date we haven’t receive a feedback from the hospital despite the multiple calls to follow up! The only feedback with each call I’m making is giving case number (twice) and that the call center is trying to reach the insurance department and the clinic with no answer (4 times)!

Mistaken report from some doctor who affected me badly with my insurance coverage and caused me troubles.
And a lady (they are calling her doctor) in emergency, poured boiled water on my back and caused me 2nd degree burn.and lied to the DHA completely saying that I was suffering it before her consultation? ! Why I would do so? I don't even know her? !
This hospital is a huge mess and healthcare disaster.

Whenever they ask to contact them it doesn't necessarily mean that they will reply you.

I don’t understand the reason of having to check in at a shared seating arrangement and not being able to just check in at the respective clinic!

So many people waiting around late for their appointments and other commitments just for the check in delays.

Please fix this as I have been waiting to “check-in” for quite a while despite of the extra delay waiting to see the actual doctor after checking in!

Went for COVID test. They say 12-24 hours. But it is near 24 hours, when anywhere in Dubai is 12 hours. I followed up a number of times. The automated voice system takes 15 minutes before someone picks up. Then the your you on hold again. Checking with records section. The next is promising to follow up. If you have to fly, avoid the stress of going to Mediclinic. Poor service.

The maternity ward and the staffs have demonstrated one of the top class services in the industry.

Visited Dr. Ammar Al Dhamin. Amazing doctor will make you comfortable and diagnoses are precise. I was having pains for years which no one was able to track. Dr. Ammar just did in few mins and it was Glomus Tumor in my finger. He is expert in his field of plastic surgery. Thank you Doctor. On top Park View Mediclinic is amazingly equipped, clean and conveniently located. Our family prefers Mediclinic and doctors in all areas are available.

5 stars for the emergency team, specifically Dr. Jane who diagnosed me with PE after 2 other hospitals couldn't find anything and sent me home. I was admitted for 8 days where I received excellent care help from the pulmonologists and nursing team. By far the best hospital in Dubai and will not be going anywhere else from now on.

Mediclinic Parkview have some of the most professional and friendly staff in Dubai.
I had been there for a PCR test for my travel- not only did they have appointments easily available, but we’re able to send the results same day. The experience of registering, giving samples and service at the location was super easy.
Despite some miscommunication due to my email address, their customer service staff were super helpful, Mohammed on their WhatsApp help was able to resend the info very quickly!
Would definitely recommend Mediclinic to anyone who is looking to get the best health services in Dubai!

It's one of the best hospital for kids in Dubai.the nurses are very friendly and helpful.they are always ready for support.they are never bothered by any request.they are a family for the patient.
The floor manager for the kids section is so nice.she really supported us by explaining about the disease and the actions need to be taken. Dr. David is so nice with the Kids, he sings, and dances with the kids to make them feel relaxed.i wasn't satisfied with the room service: it was very slow.

I generally feel safe at this hospital knowing that I will be receiving the best patient care. I recently have been to the ER for pain in my upper back and abdomen and Dr. Shafeek Kiblawi was extremely thorough with the examination and testing ordered for my case.
It was refreshing to see a young, professional and experienced Arab doctor at the hospital. I highly recommend Parkview hospital’s ER for urgent care.

We have had a great experience with Parkview ER in the past however after the delivery of our baby I could not leave without writing some gratitude to Parkviews amazing staff.

Under the leadership of Dr George and Dr Aruna we welcomed our baby to the world with a cesarean. They explained us in extreme detail what we could expect and it is thanks to them and the entire Operating Theatre team we only have fond memories of this special day.

A special thanks as well to the nurses from the VIP ward especially nurse Cathelyn for guiding us through our first difficult baby night, nurse Sheena for all the help with his first bath and breast feeding tips and nurse Gaelle for the extreme care for us after the operation. Eternally grateful for these beautiful moments.

The nurses are amazing and the facilities as well! But I had the worst experience after a water deprivation test when the doctors did not recognize my condition! Would not recommend it for endocrine conditions at all!

2 weeks back we received a call from Ms. Anjali from data entry department she had called to get the residential information she was very polite and soft spoken and we are very much satisfied with the staff drive in pcr section all the staff here is very helpful and they took the sample of our 11 month old baby very smoothly and we got our pcr test before 24 hours.

Parkview Hospital One of the best private units in Dubai. Maternity and NICU are it’s big strength.

I had a terrible experience. I went there the doc said i need 2 meds. I didnt get any meds any prescription. I didnt get invoice for the money i paid. The doc said i need to see u after 2 weeks. I didnt get an appointment even. Tbey are very careless and irresponsible. Eventually i paid money and didnt get any value.

Worst service. No proper response from the staff. Friend admitted in this hospital due to Covid, NO responses or information.

I needed to get MRA of my left hip (MRI with contrast injection). Initially I thought of getting it done in India and called many hospitals in Delhi. But to my surprise, all major hospitals in Delhi don't do this test as they were neither confident nor competent of giving injection in the hip joint under fluoroscopic guidance (the hip joint is deep inside and has number of ligaments and nerves along the path). Even in Dubai, few hospitals do this test but they were charging very high fee. Finally got it done in Mediclinic Park View. The Radiologist was very competent and professional, and cleared all my doubts. And the injection was given, MRI done without any side effects. And the fee was only AED 3000, compared to AED 8000 cited by other hospitals.

Unsatisfied at all with the prices in this hospital which 100% over Over the other private hospital. I Will not come again

Our son was born in Mediclinic Parkview and we are very happy about our choice. Our doctor Ms. Aryan Shawkat is highly professional, informative and supportive, nurses are very attentive and facilities are new and conformable. During our three nights stay we had receive an excellent care and I would highly recommend this hospital for all mommies-to be in Dubai.

Arrived 15 mins early for my appointment to ensure all paperwork is done.
Waited 30 mins past my appointment time, asked at nursing station how long it would be, informed another 10-15mins. This isn’t an acceptable waiting time. The staff I saw were professional and did a good job. But something is wrong if I have to wait 45 mins past a scheduled appointment.

I had an amazing experience when I visited the ED for my painful foot. I was attended to really quick and got the referral and management I needed.

Very good hospital. I went with my sister to emergency, she was treated by Dr. Rohan. He was very helpful. His clinical acumen was brilliant. Everyone tried to make our visit comfortable. Hospital was clean and staff was well mannered. I would recommend this hospital for good care.

Arrived for the appointment ahead of time but had to wait thirty minutes after my scheduled time.
I was asked to do some routine tests but due to various reasons they could only book each one on different dates extending up to a week. On top of that there is no central appointment booking system. In other words you can not see if at least you can arrange all the appointments at the same date. You need to visit each department separately.

Booked a proper appointment, came on time and after being left to wait for 20 minutes I found out that they double booked my time with someone else’s and left me to wait over 40 minutes. I don’t feel like they have any regard of how I feel and whether or not I can spend all this time waiting.
Also, short on staff. During my first visit, there was no one at the reception to even greet us!

A new facility with shorter waiting time for appointments compared to other clinics.will surely visit again1

My 1st visit was in May 2019 and It was very smooth and everything is clean, and staff are very friendly.

My 2nd visit June 2019 (outpatient) ️
Staff remain friendly and everything else is bad. I noticed that that
1- Temperature in every where i enter is 25 degree and when I asked why they say because it’s too cold. And I said it’s hospital not a hotel where everyone can adjust the temperature. Hospitals should be very cold places not warm!

1- Toilets were very filth and hand soap and tissues!
Very frustrating!

My comment is not about the hospital, but the pediatric doctor working inside emergency. I brought my 12 years old daughter at 3 am to emergency to check her throat and mouth which was full of ulcers. During the day she also had fever. The doctor opened her mouth and said her throat is normal and i can see some ulcers. THATS ALL WHAT SHE DID.then she told us I will write for her gel, vitamin B, bla bla bla bla. I was not convinced with her diagnose and asked her to take swap to ensure its not hubris virus. She said i dont know if they do this test here or no but i will check. Anyhow, I didnt like how she just want to write medicine when i was sure my daughter needs more check. I took my daughter to her official doctor. Her throat was all infected and white, her mouth was all ulcers and her lips also. Because she didn't eat for two days, she was admitted under antibiotic and liquids and will leave hospital today.

Nice new facility, however the service is very slow and poor. Three separate occasions they were not able to send the proper report to the insurance company. The doctors and staff are nice and friendly and the three departments I visited had good doctors, unfortunately the administrative and claims department are a frustrating hurdle.

Beautiful looking hospital however all they want to achieve is retrieving as much money as possible instead of actually treating patients. I’ve gone for 2 consultations with 2 different doctors and they would only see me for 5 minutes, they don’t allow you to speak how you feel and Only care about money as I asked the dermatologist ‘dr Pooja’ if she could also see a pimple on my 75 year old mothers face and she literally would not even take a look and immediately mentioned that our time is up, and repeatedly said that we would have to register her for another appointment. She was unbelievably rude and uneducated as her knowledge in dermatology actually shocked me. Never going back to her for sure. City hospital is so much more advanced.

Bad location to get in and out. Very bad service unless you go their to take selfies and picture of the facility.you will feel as you are in a 5 stars hotel with a bad and smelly rooms. Bad reception staff very arrogant. I have visited the emergency 2 times and did nothing just wanted 3 hours of my time with no medical expertise at all!
The second time they gave a prescription and asked them clearly if I can take the medicine from any other pharmacy and they confirmed. 2hours guess what.you have to drive all the way back to the hospital due to and internal error!
My reviews are only applicable to the emergency dunno about the out patients clinics but this is not the service I am used to from Mediclinic specially with a very newly opened hospital (almost 2 years only)! This very same review was shared with the management but I am so not going back to the emergency at Parkview!

Great facility with some good doctors! Although the billing service is slow and there is a line sometimes. It is also difficult to get there as the directions are not clear and no direct road access available.if coming for the first time better to come early as finding the location might delay you
