We called the store this morning, we were looking for a traditional Doumbek/Darbuka drum and were told that they have them in the store. We drove there and sure enough they had lots of them. Surprisingly lots of different African drums were available, the choice is yours!
The price was right and the service was nice.
Going home happy.

Bought this XVive in-ear monitor for our events. It’s great and for a good amount of discount. Sometimes there are interference when we play in the band but we try to check our setup to see how to avoid it. This is a good addition to our music setup.

Musical instruments all in one place, deserves to be the only store I visit for my guitars and the best place to chill.

I went to the Melody House Musical Instruments with my son to get his new electric guitar.

I was amazed with the sheer size of the store and the wide range of equipment they carry in their store. It's a music enthusiasts' gem tucked away and hidden in Al Quiz!

They wired up the guitar to an amp and let my son test the guitar until my son was satisfied with the instrument.

The guitar with additional new strings and a box of picks came up to a very reasonable price, a price lower than if we were to order online from a popular online shop!

The salesman was very friendly and helpful, and the manager offered numerous advice and suggestions.

They also asked my son if he was interested in joining them jamming in their monthly event.

I am very happy to have discovered Melody House Musical Instruments and would definitely recommend anyone interested in Musical instrument or music in any form to pay them a visit.

They got pretty much everything you need for your Music world. Lot of options, very informative staffs. Probably a good location where its not too crowded, but you might experience traffic

I bought a violin for my daughter and it was a good experience. Reasonably priced and the staff was also very experienced. They sell al sort of music equipments and I enjoyed my trip to their shop.

Staff not really interested in helping customers, wrong products advertised on online shop, and parking is a huge problem. Overall not a shop I will visit again or support.

Amazing service! I had a problem with my Pearl snare throw-off, Joe helped me with the throw-off, turns out it only needed a new tension rod! Joe is a professional! He knows what he’s doing! And so are the good people at Melody house, 100% would recommend if you’re a musician, be it repair services or products, this store has it all!

Their inventory is just enormous, you can try out every piece and the prices are really good.

When you buy things from a store, what do you wish to see?

Complete honesty is not only what this instrument shop has, but also professionalism, and the willingness to help regardless their gain! You will never be disappointed by their professional ethics and kindness.

Long story short, I had a special folk instrument needs to be fixed, while the part I wanted to buy is around 400 AED, and the alternative options require me to visit again the next day while today is the only day I am free in this week.

One of their staff, Joe, listened patiently to my concerns and issues with my instrument and volunteered to fix it for me with raw materials, for free.

He is outstandingly skilled and fix this issue that would cost a bit in no time, and even answered my further questions to fix other parts of the wooden instrument and gave me a bag of wood powder, again, for free.

And I asked if I can buy something in return, he refused. I guess sharing my story here would be the most I can do for now.

This place is awesome! A place to shop, perform and get your musical instruments repaired! We are so lucky enough to witness one of their Jam Nights accidentally. We were only there for the first time to check some guitars but to our surprise we are welcomed by talented singers/performers that night! A nice hub to visit in the heart of Al Quoz!

There was just one staff member and he was kind of annoyed and not very knowledgeable.
However, i did visit at a bad time (11am) and he was busy organising the shop. This may have lead to the behaviour.

I buy most my gear from these guys online but had neber visitied the shop before.

They have a lot of variety and great prices and i m sure u ll find most stuff that u need.

Visited branch on SZR near FAB metro. Was served by (Robert i think) who knew all the products, helped me with my guitar choice with realistic advice. After all that he also lowered the action and set guitar up to my preferences all quickly and expertly.

Visited the the shop to buy drum sticks and though it is a small shop, there are quite a variety of musical instruments and parts, and you will probably find what you need.

I had my guitar refretted here.
Experienced luthier, very accurate and quality repair work, I recommend it.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Bought a mini amplifier from there, they were able to give me an in depth understanding of the products they sell, and were open to reviews of other products and such comparison from competing brands. All for affordable prices, even though it's located on Sheikh Zayed Rd. Will visit again for sure for my next purchase.

A frequent customer there. I always buy gear from there and just bought 2 ESP-LTD guitars from there last month. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their price are as per international MRSPs and they constantly have great offers!

I had taken in my Yamaha acoustic guitar for repair. It is over 25 years old and it has seen a lot of wear and tear over the years and my kids also landed up damaging the box at the rear. I got the box repaired and the strings replaced too. It was a thrill to hear the sound once again. Good work. I was told it was a couple of days work but I got it after 4 days. But it didn't bother me much. I have kept my Ovation aside and enjoying the Yamaha. Muchos gracias.

This shop is always my No. 1 option, I bought Bose speaker, pearl drum throne, Vic firth drum mute from here during this two months, everything has high quality and good price. And staff is always very nice and friendly.

I GOT CHEATED HERE A SIMPLE TUNING MY GUITAR COSTED ME A BOMB 60 DHS, N I BOUGHT A WIRELESS TRANSMITTER. TO TOP IT UP THEY CHARGED ME MORE THAN THE ACTUAL BILL AMOUNT. PAID 585 BILL AMOUNT 560. ITS OK SIR WAS THE ANSWER WHEN QUESTIONED. WILL ESCALATE IT TO DED FOR SURE.

Nice collection of PRS and ESP LTD guitars, some semi acoustic Guilds, lots of Blackstar, Mesa Boogie and Orange amps, MXR, Boss and Electro-harmonix pedals. On the pricier side of things (it's always hard to compete with US and UK prices), but that's just to be expected in Dubai.

This instrument shop is like Mecca for local artists. It was established in 1993 and this place specialises in guitars – from acoustic ones to the deep bass. Every instrument can be found at an affordable price.

This a proper musicians review. If you are a PRS or LTD fan who likes Mesa amps. Then this is the place for you. If you are a pearl or Sabian fan then this place is great. The staff is nice and very helpful. The location is a bit or a let down since it's behind the metro station so it is hard to spot. The biggest let down of this place is the size. It's not too small but it could be bigger. And for drummers there is a lot to look at but not much to do. There is only one kit to play and it's out in the open so whoever plays it will give everyone else in the store tinnitus and it is not even set up properly. But the staff is very helpful and provide lots of info. If I remember correctly there are mainly two guys who work there. One has been drumming for over 13 years and the other had played guitar for a long while. Over all a pretty good place but not one where you could spend hours playing everything.

Great deals for high quality instruments.they have a great inhouse luthier (Mr. Dex) who is amazing and who does not charge too much for his services.
