I’ve done a booking and when I was there, closed Came from out of Dubai for this by taxi to lose my time because the receptionist has ZERO attention to detail.

I stopped coming to this place because every time I came, I booked the same service but the price was always different…
Even when I was not satisfied (because I did not get what I was promised) they invited me back to fix the mistake, and still charged me even though it was their mistake.
Also, it feels very uncomfortable to go there because a lot of their employees are men and they stare at you all the time.
Really uncomfortable and not worth the price.

I did the hair color and a fringe cut + trim at the salon and I’m in awe with the service. Mike and his colleagues are all very professional, friendly and down to earth people. Reasonable price too!

OMG I did my eyelashes with Vikie, she was literally very kind and nice to me and my fragile eyelashes and they came out beautiful and natural as they should be?
I also fixed my nails and had a gel extension with pinky (cute name) and they look so natural and awesome specially with the gel polish. Last but not least my Russian hair extension, the crown jewels, had it colored into shades of pink, the guys Mike, Saeed and Mazin were so cool, professional, and friendly my hair looks amazing.came out of the salon so happy on cloud 9

Got my nails done from Thuong (the girl from Vietnam) and they look pretty neat. She did a good job and I’d definitely recommend her if you want to get your nails fixed!

I had my hair cut and coloured by Mahdi Makhaimer last week at the salon and it was 10/10! He is so professional and the end result is just what I wanted. He styled this for me amazingly also! It’s hard to get someone in dubai to do the right blonde - and it’s just perfect.

It was an amazing experience and I really loved my hair it’s done by Mahdi mukhaimer he is an expert and recommend to do your hair with him and I love the place as well very friendly stuff and clean?

I had hair balayage with Mike Alam himself, who was recommended by a friend of mine. Usually my hair is fried by highlights, but here they use only Kevin Murphy colors which leave your hair in great condition. I also topped it up with Kevin Murphy’s hydrating treatment. The result is beautiful, it’s rare to find a good hair colorist in Dubai but Mike Alam is a master colorist.
Also, despite closing at 9 pm the salon kept me till 11: 30 pm to work through my hair.

What a great place. Mike is a big expert and knows what he's doing and the team is super friendly. Great vibes.

It was supposed to be the best salon.
However shame on them i purchased products worth 300aed and paid almost double as i trusted Mike but apparently his need to make money rather than building customer’s network is much more important.
SHAME ON YOU MIKE.such a shame really.
U can add a percentage on sale for coloring products but u cannot double and triple the price.
Of course they are good in what they do but this incident as a customer is a shame fot their credibility.

Biggest regret ever. My hair was dark blonde and I asked for lighter blonde. First, they bleached it - which is not necessary for blonde hair. The bleach was so bad that it created scabs everywhere on my scalp. Once they put colour, it came out orange. The orange is now impossible to remove

I wanted curtain bangs and long layers and I finally found a hairstylist that listened to what I wanted and cut my hair perfecly. Thank you Mike! Without any doubt this is the best haircut I had in ages (I tried so many hair stylist in Dubai and I was never happy)

The best salon in Dubai by far! Mike and his team are so professional and friendly, I always feel like home there. They managed to transform my hair from black to a blonde balayage without any damage. So happy with the results

It was a very comfortable experience from the moment I arrived until leaving. The hairstylist and in fact all the staff made me feel at ease and the hairdresser created the exact cut and look I wanted. Best hair experience ever, super satisfied mike and his team were so good to me. I had black hair and bad keratine on top done in another salon. His hairdresser Nawar did great job on my hair he managed to remove black color from my hair with minimum hair damage. They did test on my hair to check if it can handle or no bleach and He also did haircut and fixed my bangs i have been 8 years in dubai tried many saloons but this one is the BEST. I was very pleased with the services offered at Mike Alam salon. Every person at the salon is so professional. Had the most amazing wash that incorporated a head massage, while waiting I was also treated to a shoulder and upper back massage. It was truly what I needed after a long day of travel. I first come to this salon a year ago via a referral from an instagram friend and I can honestly say I have literally never looked back or gone anywhere else! Very friendly staff, and so professional. Loved my haircut and Jack is really talented. He is the first hairdresser I try in Dubai and I'm definitely sticking to him!

I come all the way from Kabul to get my hair done at MIKE and JACK.they never disappoint! Jack does wonders.real professional! He will tell you exactly what is going to look good on you! And it always does!

I went in to see if there was a color that could make my grey roots less obvious as they grew in.
He did a test strand of my hair then said my hair would be too damaged by lightening it so he didn’t recommend that.
So we agreed he would highlight and do the roots of the reasonably healthy red hair I already had and really liked and which I had done at this salon 2 months earlier with Mike.

So far so good.

SEVEN HOURS later I left with dried out hair in an unflattering shade of blond/brown, having lost an entire afternoon and been yelled at.

I said my skin has cool tones and so wanted cool tones in my hair.
I said this repeatedly.

He gave me warm, caramel hair.

When I looked at my hair in horror and asked why he had given me such an inappropriate and unbecoming shade for my face’s coloring, he got _very_ angry with me for critiquing his work and said “all white women look good in caramel”

In case you were wondering, no, all white women do not “look good in caramel” because we do not in fact have the same skin tone. Skin tone can have blue, green, (cool) pink, red or yellow (warm) undertones. A skilled stylist sees this and creates a hair color that complements the skin tone of individual clients.

Sadly that is not what happened here.

I said I did not want curls.

He curled my hair anyway. Because he “wanted to see what the color looked like”

I’ll tell you what it looked like. It looked pretty. But not on me. The client. The person who now has to live with this hair. The person whose hair had been dried out so much by this “salon” that I am afraid to get anything else done to fix it despite it being totally the wrong color for me.
I went in with soft hair in a shade that made me rosy-cheeked with bright eyes. I left looking sallow and washed out with hair that feels damaged.

Oh, and when I got to the salon? No one was ready for me. We started half an hour late. And during the appointment I was left waiting multiple times for 5-15 minutes while the staff hung out talking to each other. I am genuinely glad they enjoy spending time with their colleagues, but their client’s time is valuable is well and I have more things to do with my day besides sit around and wait for someone to be bothered to do my hair.

So go here if you want to be ignored, told all people of your ethnicity look the same, lose SEVEN HOURS over the course of 2 days and then be yelled and forced to pay a premium price for hair that feels like straw, in a color you do not like, and the opposite style of what you asked for.

Got my hair colored and cut from Jack and I must say it has been an amazing experience. He took his time till he perfected the look. All the guys working there are super friendly, extremely professional, fast and the service is beyond excellence. This is going to be my permanent salon now:)
