Mikel Cafe

There is nothing to complain about except for the weak and extremely firewalled wifi they offer as a complimentary service.

The coffee was great, and the ambiance was cozy. However, I found it a bit unusual that they had a designated floor for smoking. While it might suit some customers, it wasn't my preference. Nonetheless, the overall experience and service were good.

Same as home - Greece and Cyprus. Classic Mikel for those who know. For those who dont then give it a try. A Greek experience. Try the Freddo Espresso.

Bad service and not understand what customer need u ask something and they bring something else kindly trainer them good

They have an upper level indoor smoking room and they allow Cigar smokers, it has very comfortable seats, and is overlooking the street.
Nevertheless, they must improve the ventilation to minimize the smell.

Its quite, suitable if you have work to finish out of office. You can have casual meetings too.
Coffee is so nice.
Staff are nice and friendly, not that type of annoying staff.
Recommend if you want a cosy quite place to finish some work in the morning out of office.

A pleasant place to relax and chat with your friends. I must say, their pastries are extraordinary! You have to taste them, especially the carrot and cheese cake. They have to work more on their coffe and hot chocolate though.

Rudest customer service in the world I went at 11: 50 and they refused to make me coffee because they close at 12. The employees were watching movies instead of receiving guests! I will never go to this place or recommend it to my company or friends

This is a cool little cafe been here a few times I highly recommend it. The menu is simple but the food quality and portions are good. Try the Mexican coffee with the cream it's very popular and there's a smoking area above

The place is good, clean and quiet cafe in the morning (thats when i visited). The halomi cheese sandwich is tasty the mocha also was jusg perfect.the place is work friendly with a well functioning wifi

Decent coffee and Greek frappe is good to get in UAE but food offerings are thin for lunch. A few sandwiches. Photos on this link of chips and eggs benedict wide of the mark. Good work/meeting spaces and only quiet music in background so is good for wfh

Very nice neighborhood and interior design. Upstairs there is a long meeting table which is great for team meetings.

Totally recommend Mikel for study groups or casual coffee.

One of secret gems in Dubai, great coffee, relaxed atmosphere and ultimate chill spot. Please don't kill the vibe.

Very bad experience and service, workers there were really rude and unpleasant. That's probably the reason why they closed all other branches. With this kind of approach to the customers, they cannot expect to survive on the market.

I don’t like going to coffee shops but this place is different and serves better coffee and mikelicino drink is the best thing you’ll have in summer

The two most pleasurable thing about the Jumeirah branch is their drive thru and smoking area. It is way too convenient specially on summer days. Lately, maybe three or four days ago, me and my team had a very bad experience on the shop. One of the staffs bad mouthed us on the other customers. It is one of the arabic waiters, the short one. We go to the smoking area that day and after sitting and while looking at the menu, this waiter sarted talking to other arabic customers on the next table and one of them told this waiter that he have new customers in which the waiter said "it is ok few minutes.this people are cheap, always using discount when they come here. Never paid a bill without a discount. " It is me and one of my colleague who heard that! Maybe it is not my mother tounge but i can clearly understand arabic. And that thing he said is humiliating for us. My friend was mad but we decided not to say anything because maybe its not us he was talking about. But we stayed for long and its only us who used discount as i observed. And with that i decided to write this review. I think it is normal for everyone to say something bad about something or someone. But really, just beside us and telling it to other people? That is rude. I just want to clear that using a discount voucher is our privilege as a customer especially if we use it properly according to its terms and conditions. We maybe cheap but it is no ones right to tell it publicly

But really, i think you should train your waiters with proper customer handling. Certainly with your two arabic waiters. I just like to add few more things about the service were getting from your staff. They have priority service. They have specific customers they serve well. There were complimentary items we always receive before but these two waiters give it on specific customers only. You have a rug, yes we sometimes clean our own tables and get our own ashtrays fyi. I once asked my colleague if we were paying service charges for nothing. But we sometimes get good and full service on your other staffs of difderent nationalities which is very convenient to have. Can i ask if is it allowed for your staff to eat and drink around customers? I guess no. My brother is working on a restaurant and he said this thing is not allowed during working hours. Look, if you will only see your arabic waiters then you will understand how inapropriate they were infront of their customers. The short arabic guy always eat something. Sometimes he comes to our table chewing food on his mouth and he can't even talk properly. There's a part on the smoking area were they put they food and drinks you should check that because it is disgusting and inappropriate. Also train your two arabic waiters on giving attention to their customers. They always talk too much to other arabic customers and they dont give any attention on others. I waved my hand, i called and look too many times but they were only focused on specific people. Thats why before i always go down to order my coffee and now i always order before i go to smoking area. You should tell your staff that talking to phone infront of the customers is inappropriate also. The short arabic guy always talk with someone on his phone, playing games on his phone. I once shocked that when i open the door on the smoking area and he was shouting and talking to his phone sitting on the stairs but they stop doing it when someone checks on them. Im not sure if you hired the wrong people or you didnt train them well on how to handle customers. Before, you have a great service to customers when you still have the other waiters that were gone now. Honestly i only got good service downstairs, or if its the filipinos or greek staffs which were around. I dont want to be racial but really, if you want your customers to be statisfied you need to make a move that will be good for your customers and coffee shop.

And even i wrote this review. I will still go to mikel. I love the coffee and the place.

Really nice place for greek coffee, seating area is nice with a view of Burj khalifa, weather wasn't too hot but they provided the portable ac outdoors which was nice.

Really disappointing, went it and there were no customers. It was my first time there as I always see it driving by, the place is nice and good menu however the staff are the worst I have seen. I ordered a turkey sandwich and coffee. She brings me the coffee and 35 mins later the sandwich which I cancelled paid and left. I wont be coming back due to the staff behavior and customer service. No apology for delay, I wish they were busy that would justify a turkey sandwich being 35 mins late but it was empty I was the only one there.

This is a pretty good place, Good place to relax and focus. It is quiet and is close to a mosque and it has good beverages and food. I recommend you to try it.

A really cosy café with meeting/work tables if needed. A very diverse menu. Hospitable staff.and great location. If you need to stay for a long time. Park in the Free Public Jumeirah 2 Beach Parking (entrance from the fabulous Al Amwaj Street) and enjoy a very scenic 5 minutes walk to Mikel.

Definitely I will never visit again Mikel Cofee. We ordered two sandwiches and Chefs salads, earl grey tea and coffee latte. Our hot drink was at all NOT hot, lol I don't know why. Salad is not fresh at all the chicken inside the salad you can't chew and ofcourse sandwiches just brrrrr super dry no test at all. Only the service were good. Sadly I don't like it.

Nice place good location plenty of parking. However, the service was not that great. We were there waiting for a long time for even a waiter to pass so we could call for the check. Everything else great the coffee was great as well.

Decent place. There is drive through. Coffee tasted decent. We had Mikelino and Mochalino (both cold beverages.) It is more iced than expected to be ice-creamish. Expensive than the regular coffee chains.

Amazing space for a laid back time with friends and family.the restaurant is pretty huge with comfortable seating and cool interior.

This is definitely not a specialty coffee shop. It is more in line with a second cup or caribou. The coffee is ok, not amazing although I am being a bit harsh given that it's not a crop to cup type place. The staff is very friendly and it's seems to be a great place to work for a few hours during the day.
